Cockroaches
On our first night we placed an open packet of cookies neatly on a counter top, but later awoke in the night to cockroaches. When I shared this with Sandy on the Front Desk staff I was told this is Florida so insects are present, but that I would receive some kind of discount and that she would speak to her Supervisor to agree how much. To date I have not received any money back.

Amazing hotel
This hotel was the best I’ve ever been to. The buffet breakfast was delicious! The staff was extremely friendly. The entire building was cleaned spotless ! The king suite smelled great and the view was beautiful! We came for our 3 year wedding anniversary and we will be back ! Oh and the beds are super comfortable!

Great location with excellent access to beach. Pool is very nice and the staff is friendly and warm. We were allowed to us the sister property next door, the Hilton. The pool, gym and the facilities were lot better. So this sister could use a little face lift...especially the carpets, fitness center and the rooms. But I guess you get what you pay for...

An average place
This was our first time staying here. It was ok. Apple at the front desk was good. The DJ was friendly. Our room was ok. Not great. Some of the staff is friendly some are not. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. Overpriced. Looks better online. Kid friendly. Buffet was fined

Two day getaway
Enjoyed the stay in spite of some health issues that keep us from doing the things we intended. The room was nice with a great view. The restaurant has excellent food. The breakfast bar was loaded with options. The pool was nice also.

We noticed that the lights around the pool at night were not coming on and my husband informed the maintenance person. It was fixed the day they were notified. Every thing was great there. Very nice.

Rooms felt a little dated. Staff was lackluster but we didn’t really need anything. When we did it was mediocre. Overall you have easy quick access to the beach and the lazy river/pool was convenient when you needed a break from the ocean. We’d probably stay somewhere else next time.

Perfect pool and location.
We decided last minute to make a quick one night trip. We knew we wanted a nice pool and a hotel on the beach. The hotel was great, the pool was amazing for our kid, and the location to the beach can’t be beat. Some of the staff were amazing, and some were downright rude. The person that checked us in seemed like it was an inconvenience and went over a couple things very quickly, stopped mid check in, asked me to move to the side, and went to help the guest behind me that was holding towels, then made us not even want to ask for pool towels because she kept saying we’d be charged per towel if we lost the cards. I had paid for our room that was almost $300 in full so when she said I need your card, it’ll be an additional $60 I was a little confused. She said it was additional hotel fees and parking. I asked what the fees were for and she said it depends on your stay. I asked if it was a holding fee and would I receive any of it back and she just shrugged. At that point I just took the cards and went on. The staff in the morning was amazing, however, but I never got the chance to ask about the fee and never received any type of receipt breakdown. It seems like the type of hotel where every little thing could add up quickly because of all the additional cost for things. So I would say budget in a little extra (breakfast was around $20 a person) They were extremely busy (a wedding was going on) but even though an event was happening, it didn’t interfere with our stay.

The stay at this property was one of the best in all of my many visits to florida. I arrived earlier than check in with kids in tow and it was a long drive, the staff was able to get me in to my room a little early which was a huge help. All of the staff were courteous and helpful and very friendly. I loved the facilities with the lazy river and the beach right off of it. Special thanks to front desk worker Lauren.

Kids enjoyed the pool and the use of the Hilton pool next door, the arcade, the breakfast buffet was immaculate, the balcony with the beach front was wonderful, two beach chairs and umbrella was $51 from the morning until 6:00 p.m., you can see the boardwalk from your balcony, parasailing is next to the hotel on the beach.. everything was great

Mini vacation

Horrible experience
It was horrible. I'll never stay there again or recommend there. Staff was rude, ice machines didn't work for 4 days. We had to buy ice daily. Breakfast and juice ran out at 9a. Jacuzzi didn't work. Tv went out. We had to switch rooms at 11p. Staff gave us attitudes. We had 2 rooms for 7 days costing almost 10,000. Horrible stay. Several other guests also had complaints

We got locked out on our patio the first morning of our trip and staff quickly came to unlock the door and were super friendly. They gave us some good recommendations for food in the area. Breakfast in the morning was great.

We loved everything about this place! Quick and easy from the airport. So family friendly with lots of extras for the kids. The “bubble lady”, the mermaids visiting daily, Chase from “Paw Patrol”- our granddaughter was enthralled with all of it!! The restaurant on property was also excellent, but fantastic seafood, restaurants, and gelato within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the pool and how close the beach was to the property. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. One of the lady’s at the front desk even opened a pack of Pepcid for my son to get one from the Sundry. Very nice!

We had a nice stay at this property. We enjoyed the view from our balcony. Didn't like the parking fee. Why charge to park in THEIR parking lot? We didn't use any of the amenities although I did like the fact that they had an indoor pool. We like that we were close to restaurants and shopping. This was a quick, early Anniversary trip. Nice experience overall, oh yea, the front desk staff that checked us in could have been a little more helpful and friendly. No smile at all. Other than that, we had a very nice time!

Just okay.
The check in process was quick. However the white male cooks behavior was outrageous. From the very time we sat down for a meal he was slamming items in the kitchen and throwing stuff around when it wouldn’t open easily. We ordered two different meals and one of them was terrible. When our kind waitress took it back he started going off and yelling again in the back. Completely rude and disrespectful to his coworkers and us as the customer. The hotel was just okay for the price but we will never go back to stay.

The property is great. Pool is wonderful for children. The only issue I had was no one came by for two days for turn down service. I had to go ask for towels on day 2. But they were nice and got it right to me.

Love the property. But it could use a face lift and new carpet throughout. The Carpet was the most worn of any Holiday Inn I've every been to . Room was clean . But there's only so much you can do with worn dingy carpet.

I started my week long stay on a vacation then changed to business. The staff has been incredible. Front desk, wait staff, housekeeping have all been fabulous. Food and drinks are great. Definitely recommend it to anyone. Beachfront access, wonderful pool with lazy river! Fun for rest & relaxation or centrally located for more lively nights!

This hotel needs a lot of renovation work. The beach behind it is nice but the rooms are dated and run down. The carpets were dirty. The hotel had an odd smell. Only saving grace was the manager and assistant manager were understanding. One of the other staff at front desk was not hospitable at all. We had a bad experience here.

The breakfast we paid for was cold the first day, the hotel is in need of repairs, the mix drinks the bartenders made were terrible. We paid almost $400 per night for a ocean view they put us at the end by their air conditioning units which were loud we couldn’t enjoy sitting on the balcony and half of the view was blocked by their tiki bar.

It was a typical
Value type property that they were charging premium prices for. My tub had holes rusted through it. There was low water pressure oh hot. It was run down. I will say that they were doing maintenance on the place. It may be that they had had a busy summer season and the place had gotten beaten up. Very much a lower tier value type family property.

I was disappoint that the cleaning service did not clean our room once. I even left the school at in the door requesting more towels. They never brought any nor cleaned our room one time. For the amount I paid that was very disappointing

I found this hotel to be a positive experience; they have a friendly staff and the facility and rooms are well updated. The breakfast was good although was the same every day; I could have used some variety there. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and fresh. They had trouble keeping the ice machines running to support the need; they were often out of ice. The AC in the room ran all day and night and was a bit noisy for my liking but no big deal. It is convenient to shopping, restaurants and is right on the beach.

This is the best holiday inn that I have ever visited. The food at the hotel is better than many other surrounding restaurants. They had live music at the hotel bar, movie nights at the pool, great ocean view with balcony, quiet room.

The only saving grace was the beach and city. From booking to check out it was the worst and most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Didn't have the room I reserved and prepaid for, roaches playing in the bathtub when we arrived-scalded down the drain only to wake the next morning to several on the walls! and on the TV stand. The front desk staff were rude for no reason, the view from the room of the hotel grounds made me cry. It was the weekend and everything was booked---please don't waste your money, our bags are still outside on the lawn, that luggage will never re-enter our home. You will wait forever at the Tiki bar so you can't even drown your sorrows-the inside bar doesnt open until 2 and do not think because you sit there someone will wait on you. On the plus side, the outdoor pool was nice and housekeeping was super fast with towels. We fell in love with the city--so any suggestions are appreciated! Outside of the hotel, the people are some of the friendliest I've ever met--love love the vibe.

Unfortunately we will not be staying here again. We were on the beach and that’s the only positive. The staff was not very professional. Ladies at desk never smiled. After asking one for multiple things like breakfast voucher and to buy water bottles she said frustrated “is that it?” The breakfast buffet was always messy and out of something. Would expect more from a buffet that you have to pay for. The pool water fall was broken the whole week, there was work being done to the building so it was loud. I appreciated being able to use the hotel
Next door. Tish at the tiki bar was our favorite person, she was happy and kind and helpful. The kids movie shown at night was projected onto a wall in the indoor pool area with things in the way so you had trouble seeing the picture. I just expected more for the amount of money paid.

Hotel is well loved and used lol. They're updating and doing things outside to make it look new. Hot tub was being resurfaced but we were allowed to use the Hiltons facilities next door. The room was dated and Had dined furniture. Bed was clean but uncomfortable. Breakfast was not worth $15 though kids 11 and under are free. Pool was heated and fun for the kids. Beach is GORGEOUS! Staff was SO nice!

Amazing location, right on the beach with easy access. View from balcony is postcard perfect. The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast served was good, but could offer some more varieties for vegan/vegetarian. Rooms were good size, and clean. Bathroom has a slow drainage. The Electric Vehicle charger they provide are hit or miss. Only one worked out of three.

Excellent vacation at Holiday Inn
Our stay at the hotel was amazing. Steve, the hotel manager is a wonderful person. He was very helpful and gave us excellent recommendations about local restaurants and activities. All the other hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would go there next time with out any hesitation. Enjoyed the easy access to the beach. Liked the ambiance of the resort.
