Love love loved! this hotel staff were very friendly front desk always answered the phone and most of all comfortable bed/ couch huge TV and beautiful view!. 10/10 would definitely go back to this hotel if i go to clearwater again!.

The pictures and reviews are deceiving. Would have been nice to know a new hotel was being built right next door. Construction started at 7am. Being on vacation my wife and I were hoping to sleep in. Not one day did we make it past 7:15. Cleanliness was an issue as well. One of the days we observed blood all over the walls and door on the room next to us. We notified staff but they did not seem to concerned. It was however cleaned up. The hotel add stated easy access to the beach, they didn’t mention you had to walkthrough an entire construction job site with a 3ft wide path. Worst of all is it takes a long time to get into the actual hotel. First an elevator to floor 5. Then walk across the hotel to another elevator to then go to your floor. Took about 15 minutes from floor 9 to leave the hotel. I may try AC hotels in the future but not at this location. For the price we could have and should have stayed elsewhere.

We were not told about all the construction in the area. We were not told about the roof top bar being closed and the pictures of the view of the ocean are not accurate. Very disappointing. Valet service was great!

Overall a very nice hotel. Clean rooms, modern bathroom with a nice shower head or rainfall. Great HVAC to keep it your desired temperature. Gym was nice and has great views and 24/7 access is awesome. Within walking distance of many places, so a car is not necessary. Very close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and the pier. Room service didn’t come until I was about to check out, not a big deal, but would’ve been nice to have the room cleaned once, but I only was there 3 nights. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Extra points for the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all being sulfate free! (I’m allergic). Nice area outside by the pool. I would definitely go back again.

Upon checking in front desk gave us a invalid room key so we were inable to open the door to our room but he apologized.
Both night light wasnt working.
Air conditioner take too long to adjust to the prefered temperature.

The AC is a new hotel that is trying to be trendy and modern but has a lot of work to do to get there. Major construction going on across the street. Not their fault but it is super loud and annoying. The design of the rooms is minimalist.
No drawers to store clothing or even actual closet. No carpet and being in a beach town, floor was always Sandy. No maid service, no clean towels at the pool and almost no staff.

I stayed on this beautiful hotel! It was for a business trip but, don't be fooled the place is beautiful and the hotel employees really nice, I did see a few families with kids and I would totally stay with my family if I go to Clearwater Beach again, a few minutes walk to the beach and I didn't feel I needed a car. Breakfast in not included with the stay but the selection they have for the breakfast was awesome. The woman in charge of the breakfast buffet was so nice caring shane I didn't get her name.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a quick getaway. We were met by valet who was friendly and then I took the elevator to the 5th floor to the lobby to check in while he got out car situated. There was no one was there to greet me for about 5 minutes and just as my patience started to wear thin from a long travel day Stephanie appeared and got us checked in and went over the details. I liked the overall decor of the hotel including our bay facing room. There was a small fridge inside with complimentary water which was a nice touch. Just outside our room was the ice/water machine which was great because I was able to refill my water bottle and the machine dispensed the ice pellets that I like. The hotel was conveniently located to many restaurants, the beach, the pier, many shops- it was great! We only had to use our car once and that was to drive to Tampa. The hotel was pretty quiet even though there were a few kids there. There is bar inside that we never got around to going to, there is also a rooftop situation that we went to check out but didn't stay because there was no view. We did spend some time at the pool but it is very small with limite seating so we didn't stay long. The truffle fries and drinks we got while we were there were good though. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at a conveniently located hotel that had a friendly staff.

It would be advisable if there was more coffee in the room, there was only one regular and one decaf and the coffee machine had to be moved to a socket since there was no where to find the machine, but a stay at the hotel is highly recommended

This is a clean modern hotel a block back from the beach. It’s doesn’t offer the same pool and amenities as your beachfront resorts but it is a great alternative which is only a block back from the beach. Nice rooftop bar. Small pool but a good space with loungers. And most importantly really nice modern sleek rooms. A great place to stay overall.

This is a beautiful first-class European-style hotel!! We thoroughly enjoyed the professional staff, amenities, including pool, dining options and valet parking. It is walking distance to the beach, Pier 60 and several great restaurants. We stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed our visit immensely. Highly recommended!

The property was at the very south end of the island, inconvenient for quick ins and outs. The area is full of construction, had to detour to beach. Very few elevators access all floors, and as such, the wait times neared five minutes. No way to print boarding passes.

Requested towels several times and they never came throughout our duration which was 2 nights. We asked at the front desk as well as called from our room. I even got desperate and tried to get towels from the pool area but there weren’t any there either
We had an issue with out water pressure which was essentially dripping out of the shower head and that wasn’t resolved either. We were told someone would come by and they never did so we had to ask again . Someone ended up coming by and then leaving without fixing it and we never heard anything after that.
The location and amenities saved this review. It was also very clean inside to room and around the hotel. We loved the bars, pool and fitness room. The hotel is right across from the beach and popular restaurants. We didn’t even need our car. Staff was friendly but extremely unhelpful.

I was impressed by this hotel. It’s 1 min walk from the beach, got a few bars and rooftop on the property. Building is fresh, new furniture and service is just excellent. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Clearwater!

Everything about this hotel was on point. I was allowed to check in at 7 am after my overnight flight instead of 3pm. The rooms are minimal but clean and everything you need. Close to the beach (2 min walk) and restaurants. Perfect location.

A trip of firsts :)
First time for a lot for me: solo trip, first time in Clearwater area, and at AC Hotels. Angela and Jolita made me feel completely at home. I never felt alone! I highly recommend this hotel, this location and going on a solo trip once in your life! Very clean and trendy. Easily walkable to the beach and restaurants/bars. Pool and gym very cute! Watching the sunrise from the gym was a highlight!

I enjoyed my stay here during Mothers Day weekend with my family. The only not so great thing was the housekeeping. I had to call to request towel/washcloth change outs and for the trash to be taken out during our two night stay.
The staff was friendly and the amenities were nice and clean. The location was great as well! We may be back next year! The receptionist during our check out gave me more information about the Marriot membership program that I’ll be using to book my future stays!

If your booking theu Expedia which is a third party reservation. The hotel will prioritize Marriott membership at check in first and allow them to check in before 4:00PM. I had to wait until after 4:00 to check I. And was told from front desk that someone will call me when the room is ready. NO ONE CALLED . Checked in at 5:00PM
Another couple notes to mention
1. No balconies
2. Major construction noise across street. They start early
3. No restaurant bar opens late afternoon
4. Pool is absolutely small and no vacation feel. Good for maybe business travelers.
Rooms are new. But amenities are slim.

Really nice new hotel, great location, easy to walk anywhere on the strip.
Hotel is very green/ eco focused which was a nice feature. Took getting used to the automatic switching for everything in the room, would have been nice to get fresh bed sheets.

The AC is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Loved the hydration stations on each floor with the filtered water. Staff was very good. It's a very short walk to the beach and there are many conveniences within walking distance. What we didn't like is that the roof top pool was extremely small with a very small deck area on only one side of the pool which accommodated only 10 lounge chairs. There were people out there at the crack of dawn saving chairs, so unless you got up at 5AM to put a towel on a chair, you were never going to be able to lounge by the pool. Not sure why the pool was built so small since it is over the parking garage and looks to be like it could have been built much larger. We did not like having to take an elevator to the lobby on the 5th floor and then another elevator to our room. Had to use our key every time to enter the building. Did not like the high tech lights in the room itself. Very hard to figure out and not necessary in a hotel room. Overall the vibe of the hotel seemed more business-like than vacation, so although the rooms were nice and the staff was good, we probably would not stay there again.
