Excellent Stay. I travel every week for business. This is a brand new hotel that is very clean, quiet, great breakfast selections, and staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place/ good value
Great hotel, easy on off interstate. Clean, good customer service. Shampoo good quality. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. Tea coffee station available at all times. I will be back! Great value

Just passing through
I stopped here as a halfway mark between my point of origin and destination to hopefully get a good night's rest and Carry On my journey. I was placed by a rear access door in which there was constant traffic which is not the fault of management. accommodations were Pleasant although I did miss the use of a microwave.

Great service and nice people
We had an issue with our lock and the entire staff was by our room trying to help. Then gave us money off for a 30 min inconvenience. I wouldn’t have even thought to ask for that as it was nobody’s fault the lock jammed.

For some reason the smoke was coming into the room from the AC/Heat unit. Reported to the front desk, they said that a few other guests had reported the similar issue; unfortunately, the fire department could find the source and the hotel staff could not do anything about it. The bathroom could use some cleaning, there were hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower.

It was perfect for us. Reception was super nice and friendly. Room was simple, clean and comfortable! Breakfast was simple and fast. Coffee delish and self serve 24 hrs in lobby. And the price was a decent. They did not overcharge for having your pet with you like other hotels..

I was in town for a family reunion. The hotel is easy to find, right off the interstate but tucked in enough to avoid noise for traffic. The staff was friendly and my room was very clean. My room had a micro fridge but no microwave. But I believe they do have microwave rooms for a little extra if you need one for dietary needs. Will stay again in the future.

Clean with a Nice Breakfast
Great price for all you get. It's a newer establishment and very clean. Rooms are utilitarian and have everything you need for an overnight including a micro fridge. Friendly staff who send guests on their way with a breakfast that includes plenty of options including coffee from fresh ground beans, hot Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, Choboni yogurt and more! You can sit down or do a grab and go. Grest location right off 81. Happy to recommend this establishment!

The rooms are small, but clean. The air conditioner works well. We could kind of see some mountains from our window. The blackout curtain is good at blocking the light.
The breakfast menu is limited. They need less prepackaged stuff.

Very nice, clean hotel with smaller rooms that are very well equipped and utilitarian. Only complaint other than small rooms was the towel quality was poor and cheap but the design of hotel is evident that simple and cost savings is the theme. The breakfast was mostly grab and go items but they were all nicely presented and easy to access. The front desk staff was very welcoming and nice, check in and out was easy and smooth. The parking lot is easy and convenient. It is right off I -81 so very easy access. A lot of food, gas and shopping right down the road also. Would highly recommend for a stop in Salem and only 30 min from Blacksburg and VT.

I love the concept of this hotel it is very well thought out. The rooms appear simple but in fact just make better sense than your ‘traditional’ room. The breakfast is a game changer, no more effort by the hotel, just smarter. Goodbye rubber omelets, hello great coffee & quality food.

Perfect for overnight while traveling I81

Modern room with all the essentials
This was a clean modern hotel at a great rate. Front desk clerks were all friendly. The fitness center had nice equipment. The outdoor area provides plenty of space for pet relief. The room was a bit smaller than what I am used to but the space was laid out well. There was a mini fridge but no coffee maker. However, there’s unlimited coffee and tea at the lobby 24/7.

Seemed like a newer hotel and right off the interstate. Checking in was great. Coffee 23/7 in lobby not in room but was very good coffee. Only complaint is water was not very hot in room. Ran for a long time still not as hot as you would like. All and all bed and room were great. Staff very friendly!

This is not a plushy accommodation. It is ultra modern and is nice. The room was small, the bathroom was of good size with a nice shower. Beds were comfortable but pillows were too soft for us. We didn’t try the breakfast as I believe it was prepackaged and forget the coffee! There was a very small refrigerator but no microwave also there was a ironing board but no iron. This is a good place to get a good nights sleep and be on your way the next day. Friendly employees, appeared to be clean. Manager signed us up for their rewards program and suggested that we call them directly for better savings for our next stay. All in all we were pleased.

Very nice hotel. First time staying at an Avid hotel and I was impressed especially for the price. The breakfast options were great! Lobby and breakfast area were welcoming and clean. Room was nice modern decor and clean. Bathroom was also nice with a really good shower and dispensers with Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner even hand soap and lotion. The one thing that I especially liked was the fact that the rooms have NO RUGS! That was a big plus! Hotel rooms should not have rugs. They hold all kinds of bacteria, bugs, dust mites, pet dander etc. Its pretty gross when you think of it. I would definitely stay at the Avid hotels again.
