Would do a winter get away there again
Great winter getaway, bad storm before we got there, so first floor was shut down but with 50 mile an hour winds all weekend we still enjoyed the views from our room. Also were told about great place to eat while there from staff

Very nice room with great view. There is a lot of cars coming and going behind property for it is a spot for folks to enjoy the view. I didn’t like that regular key opened door with no inner deadbolt. Lock on slider flimsy. Great winter spot.

We had a wonderful time in Falmouth.
Looking at the ocean each morning was a treat!
The suggestions that we were given upon arrival were very helpful. We went to two of the restaurants that were suggested and visited the sunset on the Knob and at a Chappy Beach, took some walks etc.

Stayed here for a quiet romantic weekend right before Christmas. The staff (owners I'm assuming) were very friendly and check-in/check-out were easy. The rooms are nicely renovated, with smart TVs, plenty of outlets, and insanely comfortable beds. The wet bar with refrigerator and microwave are convenient, and the tile flooring throughout is appreciated for hypoallergenics. Two drawbacks of it being an older building is that the bathrooms are tiny and the walls are very, very thin. My two recommendations would be the addition of deadbolts on the doors and dividers on the balcony for added security Overall, I highly recommend the Tides! You can't beat the location and views!

What a gem of a spot. In its simplicity Falmouth Tides is grand. The view is incredible, I could see Martha’s Vineyard from our bed. The ocean is literally steps away. The room had the Cape Cod coastal vibe that is always appreciated while on the Cape. All in all, the hotel was perfect and a great find!

Hip Waterfront Hotel with Great Location & Views!
Manager Seth was so helpful and Friendly! Very modern decor was clean and inviting. It was a very nice touch to have a phonograph/ record player in the room with some vintage LP's as well as a great Coffee Table book on Vintage Beach Trucks! Rooftop patio was perfect to catch sunrise with a nice hot coffee in hand. Great views of Martha's Vineyard and Vineyard Sound. Just a few minutes by car to Nobska Point Lighthouse as well as to the Woods Hole Ferries to the Vineyard. Also close to Woods Hole Oceanogaphic Institute and Marine Biological Labotatories. All in all a great find in a great location! We will be back!

What a fantastic gem!
This place is amazing. I feel like we found a gem. Being able to walk right out to the ocean is absolutely fantastic. We fell asleep to the sound of waves. Seth at the front desk was extremely helpful. He pointed us to a fantastic dinner place and even offered to help us to a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. I want to keep coming back to this place as it felt like magic…even in the cold winter! The only thing that could have made it better in the winter would be a fire pit. It was absolutely a wonderful experience that we extended our stay.

The view is incredible. Rooms were very clean. The hotel was supposed to be open 8-8 I left at 6pm office was dark which would have been ok if I hadn't fallen off the the bottom step Be careful the bottom is concret same as the walkway there is nothing to alert people that there is a step. I stepped off thinking I was on the sidewalk fell on my hip and shoulder had a very hard time getting. Im 75 years old lucky I didnt break a bone!

The room was clean and had a wonderful view. The staff was excellent and friendly.
They are pet friendly, which is a huge plus for me. 2 recommendations would be better mattresses, as they are not comfortable and better insulation between the rooms, you can hear everything. Especially if you're on a lower level unit and you have someone directly above you.

Great off season visit!
We stayed here for one night in November as a quick get away. The room was very clean and recently updated. The view and location are absolutely outstanding, short drive to downtown and right on the water! The only suggestions I would make is each room should have a deadbolt (key only currently), and the bathroom needs a shelf or something with the pedestal sink. We would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful, thoughtfully designed property! We were in a floor level room and the view was just gorgeous! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the added touches of the record player and s’mores on the fire. Seth is the ultimate tour guide. Thank you for an excellent stay!

Falmouth's best hotel
This place is totally remodeled. This is their first winter season. What a beautiful spot. 20 yards to the water. The sounds of the waves putting you to sleep. The room was very clean and new. The record player and old vinyl records was cute. Would love to go back in the summer but very pricey as the cape tends to be. But a great fall weekend getaway.

I can’t say enough good things on how fantastic our stay was at this hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. The town of Falmouth is charming and inviting with all of its shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this Hotel for a girl’s getaway or a couples retreat.

The staff that check us in is okay, but the rest of their staff are totally unfriendly and uptight. The worse is the staff on duty on our check out. She was totally unhelpful and unfriendly. She’s kind of rude as well. I asked why the charges are higher the fact that Expedia sent me the invoice of my total payment. She was ignoring what I’m saying and insisted that I should complain to Expedia. I find this place too expensive the fact that it’s like a motel. They don’t have any restaurant around. No amenities! Nothing you can do around! The worse is that so late at night other guests were so loud, in addition to the loud thumping boats! We had terrible nights instead of getting a relaxing night There are NO TABLES and CHAIRS to use for dining, the bathroom is super small too. They also provided those little toiletries only on the first night! The amount I paid for three nights is totally ridiculous! Shouldn’t be recommended by Expedia unless they made some improvement. Total waste of money!

The water is where it’s at!
Love the location as well as all the little touches that made our stay more comfortable. Right on the water and we even saw a seal swim by which was exciting. Can’t say enough about being on the water. Bathroom was a bit snug but it had all the right stuff but having said that, we would stay here again, again and again.

We stayed 2 nights. The walls and floor were way too thin. We could hear everything that was being said in adjoining rooms and above us.
Also, no matter how long your stay is you are only given 1 bottle per person. Same as a 1 nighter. Too expensive for value. Our view was of a back parking lot and noisy late at night. Great bikes!

Hotel is clean and staff very nice. Most rooms are ocean front or has inlet water views. We got a first floor ocean front room and we can open the sliding doors and access the lounge chairs about 15 feet away or the water about 50 feet away. Amazing! Beds comfortable. We had little kitchenette which was very convenient and all we needed. Bathroom very small and wish it had some shelving or even hooks for convenience. Overall we loved our stay.

The property is literally on the beach 50 ft. from the water. Our room overlooks the ocean and having a private beach for the guests and a swing set for the baby was great. Romantic feel. The record player in the room was a cute touch and we enjoyed listening to Bob Marley and the Beach boys. The Nespresso coffee machine made for a delicious morning coffee to sit by the beach. There are paddleboards and diving docks to enjoy water activities. Staff is amazing and gave us an itinerary for Martha's vineyard. You leave your car at the hotel and walk 0.5 mile to the Island Queen Ferry. Downtown Falmouth is only an 8 min drive to all the shops and restaurants. Went with spouse and small child nearly 1 year old.

Pros: Great for traveling with baby and good value -would recommend staying here.. clean, recently updated, lots of towels, plenty of toiletries, small quiet beach with chairs and umbrellas, loved the sink, microwave and fridge in the room. Baby and dog friendly - could be a con if you don’t like either ;)
Great restaurants nearby (2-5 min drive).
Cons: no elevator (only 2 floors so not a big deal), ice machine was broken (not great if you have a cooler), fridge temp couldn’t be controlled and would go from 37 to 60 degrees constantly, bathroom is very tight, wall outlets further from bed than charger allowed (bring a long long cord!) and got harbor view room but paid for ocean view.

It was a last minute decision to book a night at the cape and was so happy I found Falmouth Tides. They have a private beach, lawn chairs, paddle boards, rafts. It couldn’t have been nicer and a better experience! The front desk was so so nice, they give you two complimentary waters in the room, plus a free water cooler to fill up (in the front desk area) they also have a wine cooler / refrigerator in the rooms which was great since we stocked up before we left for the cape lol! It was great! And pet friendly so I may bring my pup next time!

We enjoyed this hotel so much, it was the perfect combination of a quaint Cape Cod sea side hotel yet had a modern updated feel. Being on the water was relaxing watching the boats and seagulls. The turntable in each room with great records was such a great touch. I would travel back to this area just to visit this hotel again.

Listened to mood albums on record player in room was an amazing touch!! Even had great mini soaps stocked in the bathroom, travel-size shampoo and conditioner are super nice quality. Comfortable bed.

Didn't know what to expect when we booked other than beach access. The building was very well renovated and, while being appealing to look at, didn't detract from the natural views of the harbor and ocean.
The manager who check me in was very pleasant and accommodating and eager to explain the amenities available. All staff were friendly and the grounds well maintained.
Our harbor view room was on the ground level and well appointed with refrigerator Nespresso machine and even a turntable with several albums to choose from. While rather small the bathroom was neat and clean and the shower had great pressure. Overall the room was quiet to sleep and the beds comfortable.
By far this was a very good location for our overnight and early departure to Martha's Vineyard in the morning

Bucket List Weekend Delivered!
Came for the Falmouth Road Race, which was a Bucket list trip, and the weekend did NOT disappoint, and a big part of that was our stay here. The place is just perfect. THe people are UNREAL nice, the property is clean and modern, you are legit right on the beach, and best of all you get free bikes to use! We found a gem, and already are planning to stay a whole week next year. WE LOVE THE TIDES!!!

Really wanted to love the place, but too many prob
I really really wanted to love this place because the location and the view are outstanding. So is the sunroof. However, they have a lot of stuff to work on. Our room was right next to the office, and when I walked in the place was freezing. There was a 1 ft.² of mildew in the bathroom on the ceiling, the shower handle was on the floor, And the lightbulb had blown in the bathroom. The refrigerator went from 38° to 84°, back-and-forth the whole time so we couldn’t use it. Parking situation was a nightmare. My designated spot was right in front of the office, and there were other people parked there constantly. People were also parking in the wrong spot and parking in a diagonal which was creating even more problem to the limited parking situation. An older manager was yelling at his employees outside right next to my room when I was actually sitting there on the chair drinking my coffee. Most of the staff was very accommodating. However, we also had an issue where three out of the four nights, the people staying above us or clumping around all night long. I hardly got any sleep, because the walls and the floors and the ceilings are very thin. Like I said, I really really wanted to love this place because you are literally steps from the beach and the location is magnificent. However, the owners and managers have a lot of work left to do to make it worth the huge price per night.

The room was nicely redone except for the bathroom which appears to be untouched. There were no spots to store any items or hang towels properly. The room felt damp and sandy. My children’s bed had sand in it upon arrival. We requested a blow up bed to be set up while we were attending a wedding but arrived back to see it wasn’t done. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and set it up for us. The location is fantastic for the beach, be careful of jellyfish. The value of what we paid for this room just simply did not hold up.

The view was fantastic. Being right on the beach was quite nice. Room was small but light and airy. The bathrooms definitely need a shelf for toiletries and a small outdoor table with the 2 patio chairs would be nice to have for books, coffee, phone, etc. Also, breakfast and a pool would be nice if you’re going to call yourself a resort. Nespresso machine is nice for some people but I prefer regular coffee and had to go out and buy it each morning. A Keurig would have been more useful for coffee and tea. Overall it was a very pleasant stay but there was definitely a faint odor of sewerage out back coming from somewhere that really should be addressed. The nightly rate is high to have to put up with that as you come and go.

Falmouth tides was clean, modern and refreshing. Staff was very pleasant and helpful along with housekeeping.
Right on the beach with amenities for beach. The shore was a bit rocky but water was fantastic. Much boat traffic of all kinds but pleasant to observe as none interfered with the space for guests.
Would book a stay again.

Falmouth Tides was such a great find! The rooms had a terrific modern feel, truly comfy beds and pillows and lovely linens. The vinyl player and LPs in the room were a terrific perk! We loved the beach accommodations (especially the Maui mats!) and the convenience of walking to get a bite at the Black Dog Cafe, which we didn't expect and love.
As others have said, it would be great to have a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom. Having another waste basket in the bedroom as well as another mirror would be really helpful as well.
Overall, we all were very pleased and would certainly recommend a stay there when on the Cape!

This property is amazing. Everywhere you look is a beautiful pic. Our room was clean, cool, and had everything we needed and then some. The staff, wowwwww...2nd to none. I can’t express how cool/nice, accommodating, & helpful they were. They always put a smile on our face.

Bucket List realized
This place is such a find! I've always wanted to have the "Cape" experience and this was it! Nestled between the harbor and the yacht club the beach is beautiful, the toys were so much fun to use and we were able to take the bikes to dinner, riding on Cape Cod and dinner at the Flying Bridge! Wonderful!

Last Minute Spot a Gem
We booked last minute, not knowing the area or what to expect. What a surprise to land on this hidden gem. The room was modern and you can tell the whole motel was recently renovated. The decor was cute and simple beach vibes. The beach was clean and I saw staff raking and maintaining the beach to keep it nice. There was use of paddle boards and water mats and the chaise lounges had umbrellas. I saw bicycles, not sure if they were included but definitely accesible. We rode to Martha’s Vineyard on the Island Queen that leaves from the marina next door. We also really enjoyed the roof top deck and beach fire pit All staff was friendly and the gentleman in the office was super pleasant and helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer.
