Perfect place in Vegas for me
Clean modern spacious feel without the smoke and chaos of Vegas... like a sanctu-ary when you are ready to call it a day. 2 -3 blocks to either cecears or the sphere.

Great hotel. Clean. NO game machines, NO smoking, great service, a full service Starbucks, bar and restaurant. Walking distance to The Sphere. Right off The Vegas Strip rush and traffic. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The hotel was decent but the system was slow because of high capacity. Check in took a bit but not awful. What was awful though is that when I got to my room, they gave me the wrong room. I booked a room with 2 beds and they gave me a room with only 1. When i went downstairs to get swapped into the correct room, there were no staff at the counter. I waited 5 minutes but no one ever came. I decided to stick with the inconvenience because I was on a time crunch. Slow, no staff to help, wrong room, bleh.

Staff was attentive and nice. Parking was fairly priced. Rooms were dated and walls were not sound proof. Starbucks on property was nice but hours were terrible. Closed too early. Room service menu was limited and no late night service between 11pm-630am.

From checking in to checking out we had a pleasant experience.. Everyone was very friendly and kind. The only hiccup was the rook they gave us was not clean but they quickly gave us a new one. This was the first time staying off the strip and will definitely come back again.

Arrived on Saturday afternoon and check in was easy. Asked for a higher floor and they put us on the 12th floor. Perfect. The room was nice and comfy. I have been to this hotel before and the bathroom is starting to show signs of age, but all in all good room. Everyone there was nice and accommodating. There is plenty to do around the hotel. I like it because it doesn't take a half hour to walk to the front door like the other hotels do with gambling tables. And it's more quiet! Would recommend.

Give this place a miss.
An old hotel with a restaurant with poor food. Air conditioning in rooms that is so loud that it would wake you and it comes on at random times. Give the Westin a miss, for the prices they charge there is much better in Las Vegas. I made a mistake staying here for my business trip.

The parking is so confusing, questions: 1. If I dont check in, can I park? 2. When I need to drive somehwere but not check out, can I do that? I encountered problem and it was frustrated, I had to go back and forth to check in, find somewhere to park, not sure if its allowed to park, park, drive somewhere, dont know if I need to check out in order to leave the parking spot etc etc. overall it was so frustrating. Other that, all else is good. BTW, there is even no free freakfast for Lifetime Gold? Thanks.

It was close to everything and was calm for being in Vegas. We didn’t like the layout of our room. And the last night/ morning our bathrooms toilet overflowed. There was water and foam all on the floor. No one answered at concierge when we tried to inform them. We had to get ready downstairs and when I told the front desk all they said was okay.

No Daily Room Service
Upon arrival we received a room without a view. The hotel was booked so they were unable to provide another room. The I found small specks of what appeared to be blood on the sheets. Housekeeping did change the sheets. We were asked if we wanted daily housekeeping and we said yes, however during our entire stay NO ONE cleaned our room. This was very disappointing! The hotel did not charge the destination fee, but that was only after we asked. The location was close to the strip, but a bit sketchy looking. I would not recommend staying here if you want to walk around at night.

Decent conference hotel room
Hotel location and lobby was excellent. The late checkin (2am) wasnt flawless, but reasonable. Late night clerk could not add parking access to the room keys, but offered free validation in the morning. Room was nice sized, and ac worked effectively. Adjoining room door provided little sound insulation and later in the stay allowed our neighbors non-cigarette smoke to waft into our room. I would request non-adjoining room in future.

It was a pretty good stay and staff very friendly and help. ... the bed was made in a weird fashion -- almost like they ran out of sheets and tried to use 2 twin sheets to make the cover sheet for a king bed. Weird. Breakfast at the Good Plate was very good.

My main complaint is the very noisy AC. This being Vegas, you cannot live without it, but at night you lay awake listening to air blasts that sound like an airplane taking off. Also, restaurant in the hotel is not high on freshness of the produce, while it charges steeply for the greens. Service and staff great though, and location great. Beware that the walk to strip albeit short is full of smells and shady folk. Not sure if we come back.

Overall, the stay was OK. Not what I would expect for a $350 room. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was in close proximity to various events and venues. There are a few things that could have been better. The WiFi was terrible. It was spotty at best and struggled to open even the simplest of websites (such as Google). It took me 30 minutes just to order a pizza. The room was very loud. Even though I was on the 9th floor, I could hear every car and siren on the street (which continued persistently throughout the entirety of the night). The doors into the rooms are very loud and reverberate through the entire hallway. The room was clean but very old. The TV was not user friendly, although this was not a big deal because I don't watch much TV. The breakfast was great but very expensive ($27 for a buffet-style breakfast). I did not have a bad experience, but I kind of expected a little more for $350.

From the moment we checked in, to the moment we walked out the doors, our stay was excellent. The hotel is located a few blocks from “the Strip” so it was quiet. The staff was fantastic: professional, friendly, and personable. They bent over backwards to help us in any way they could. The room was clean and well laid out, with plenty of counter space in the bathroom. The restaurant had great food and fantastic servers. I even saw the manager bussing tables! The staff really made our stay an amazing experience. We’ll be back.

It was a beautiful comfortable hotel overall, but the pandemic restrictions in the hotel made food service a bit spottier than ideal. There was also a gift shop with snacks and drinks, but the only iced tea they had was 'extra sweet' -- too sweet even for my sweet tooth!

A departure from the Mariott standard
We were not able to check in until the early evening and they couldn’t fulfill the king room we reserved. The reason stated was that we checked in too late (new staff for the evening rolled in). The rooms are outdated and sheets felt like sleeping on plastic. I am blown away this is considered a Westin.

We were happy to be back at The Westin. Happy about the renovations and that poolside has a DJ and Bbq again. The rooms are great and food is good. Our only complaint is some of the staff at bar and front desk weren’t very welcoming. The pool section could have more lounge chairs.

This day was amazing everybody was so nice and so kind. The room was very nice. Nathan the manager is the best he took such good care of us. The only thing that I did not like was the food at the restaurant for breakfast it was cold we returned it and it still wasn't good. 53 for three breakfasts that ended up in the trash but all in all a good stay

Great room & view. Pet-friendly with a designated potty area for pets. The pet fee is actually $35 per day and not per stay unfortunately. I wish they kept it at $35 per stay as that makes this hotel an even greater differentiator from others in the area. Very conveniently located and walkable to the Strip. Loved the smell in the hotel, very nice fragrance - appreciated the cleanliness and smoke/casino-free aspect!

Property is clean and well maintained. However, I felt it was too expensive and the price didn't justify the stay. Also, parking was really costly that didn't make sense. There was no Casino either in the property. Overall, I would not stay in Westin from next time given all these reasons.

Effects of lockdown noticeable in low level of staffing (front desk manned by maintenance man while desk staff were in a meeting, restaurant closed until 5 pm, etc.). The hotel is crisply clean and well appointed. Overall, considering the COVID constraints, it was a good place to stay. I like that it’s a bit off the strip.

Pet Friendly non-Gaming
We were looking for a dog-friendly hotel. We choose the Westin based on that, and price. The hotel was very nice, the room comfortable and clean. Albert at the front desk was efficient and helpful, even when the hotels computers were down. There is a small dog walk area. I was given a dog treat and poop bag when we checked in. Considering COVID, I wasn't happy paying a resort fee. We never even saw the heated pool and hot tubs that were opened, by our choice. We used none of the "resort" facitilities at the pool or the hotel business center. Albert said our internet was included in the resort fee, although hotels.com led me to belive that WIFI was free. I must say the WIFI was very fast. Premium channels were available on the TV, also "included" in the fee. The beds were clean and comfortable, the shower was also great. There was a pet fee of $15 per night, very reasonable. Room service was available in the evening, and the hotel's bar was also open at night, otherwise no food service except Starbucks in the mornings. Paying extra for parking was required. The area around the hotel didn't offer much, but you could walk a few blocks to the strip for restaurants and activities.

Our stay was wonderful until we went to the pool the last day there we went to the pool a security guard came up to us only we were just getting out of the pool and yelled at us and said put your mask on We literally that out of the pool soaking wet We told the manager for all they did was compass $50 of Starbucks to shut us up Is that of reprimanding this security guard

The hotel smells fantastic! Because they are connected to a spa, as soon as you walk in you are relaxed by the aromatherapy. Check in was wonderful. The front desk set clear expectations of availability and access due to Covid-19. The gym is nicely equipped. The pool is a smaller than average but there are some cool amenities in the pool area such as gazebos for rental,fresh towels, sun umbrellas and nice lounge chairs. The rooms are pretty standard and come with both a safe and mini fridge. Loved the custom welcome greeting on my TV, and having streaming capabilities was really nice! Lots of lightning, and usb ports for charging. Restroom was clean and pretty good shower head size. Staff is incredibly polite and professional. Will stay in future!

There wasn’t any shampoo, etc. in the room but it was clean. Covid kept the amenities like the pool, spa, etc to a minimum so I can’t fault the hotel for that. What bothered me is I was still charged a resort fee and had no benefit from it.

All I wanted was wireless in my room!!!
Despite the COVID precautions, the hotel was in great shape and the front desk was wonderful. However, the wireless in the room never worked. The frustration of trying to work with the tech support (obviously offsite in another country) was beyond frustrating and after multiple attempts, I finally had to give up and work off of cellular. Contacting the front desk about the issue, they said it was out of their hands since the troubleshooting was offsite. You would think that a major hotel chain would have some way of assisting not using a third-party. I will be if my cellular bill is more expensive this month due to the Westin's lack of wireless.

Last resort type hotel.
This was one of the biggest disappointment of hotels I’ve ever stayed at I got the premium upgraded room and I was excited because it looked so nice in the picture when I checked in the room was BASIC out dated and small I called and asked what was premium about the room and they literally said it’s the room with the city view (other hotels just call it city view room not premium with fake room pics) so I was disappointed in that because all you can see is the big Ferris wheel 🎡 I def did not think 200 a night was worth it and the parking was super crowded and small and you still have to pay parking fee and resort fees (destination fees) this place was just not it I go to Vegas frequently and this was the worst experience of hotel I’ve ever had.

This hotel needs to be renovated. The furnishings are tired, the sofa was dirty, the bathtub had rusty fixtures. The bed was definitely not up to Westin standards, although the linens were clean. Will not stay here again.
