My husban was stuck in the elevator, tried to call the desk from inside the elevator and no one answered. He had to call me and have me call the desk. No one answered. I ended up calling the emergency number. TO MANY FEES ATTACHED TO MY FINAL BILL.

Our stay at Fairfield Inn was excellent, The staff were friendly and helpful. The room whilst small suited us as we only used it to sleep, it was clean, beds comfortable. Within walking distance of most things, Times Square, Penn Station, Empire State Building. Laundry facilities were great. Breakfast was great, lots of options. This property suited us for a base to explore New York

We are regular visitors to NYC and usually take a train into Manhattan. This Fairfield Inn is the closest hotel to the station we've ever stayed, and that works for us. As it happens we were in for an event at Madison Square Garden, so again, just across the street. The hotel itself is a pleasure. Our room was comfortably large, with good bed and shower. Common areas were clean and welcoming, including a rooftop space that was cold, but offered a beautiful view of the skyline. A very generous breakfast was offered. We will return.

We arrived early and were unable to check in right away, but staff was extremely kind and the hotel was able to stow our bags for us while we went out in the city.
When we did check in they brought our bags directly up to our room for us.
Breakfast was fantastic, many options and the dining area was clean.

We arrived late after midnight and check in was easy and quick. We were disappointed to find that the heat in our room did not work. We slept in our winter coats and had very little sleep at that.

The check in people were unfriendly. The bellman was rude. Our toilet wouldn't flush so they left a plunger in our room. The TV wouldn't turn on.

Everthing good at the Hotel. Only problem the eleverator took too much time and in the morning was down. We had to walk down for breakfast but later the problem was resolved shortly . No outlet for the coffe pot in the room .no small body towel for shower

For taking Amtrak, no better location, literally across the street from the Moynihan Train Hall. Seems like a new building and the rooms are surprisingly normal size compared to the rest of the country and generous for Manhattan, which is usually tiny at this price point. Decent breakfast, although crowded. Decent fitness center. I will def be back next time I take the train.

Our room was never cleaned in our 4 day visit. Our trash can was full and we had to use a bag.We also had to request clean towels as we received none.
The staff was friendly and the breakfast provided a good array of choices. The location for our trip was perfect and the request for a city view did not disappoint.

We were unable to complete our stay due to a leak at the hotel. However the hotel had booked a room at their nearby sister hotel and arranged and paid for our car service to the new location. I wanted to commend the front desk person because she had just come on shift and had a long line, no help, a noisy crowded lobby, and this issue to deal with. She kept her cool and was able to finally investigate the issue and satisfy us. Shame on the hotel for not being better staffed and they should compensate their front desk person because she did a good job under very difficult circumstances.

A Great Find Amongst Many Options
Fairfield Inn & Suites is a great find that I have stayed at a few times when attending trade events in the City. I love the proximity to the new Moynihan Amtrak Station (literally steps away). the staff are always warm and welcoming and willing to assist with any concern or inquiry that may arise. The rooftop seasonal bar is a hidden gem in this area too. Fantastic views and close to my requirements. the Complimentary breakfast is served daily in an ample dining space that allows for easy conversations with other guests and there is a small outdoor dining space for warmer weather days.

They asked me to have a $100 deposit. But After check out, and it’s more than two weeks now and they have not issued the refund, they told me before that it will be refunded 3-5 days after check out. I have been keeping in touch with them but the Front Desk manager is not even replying anymore. That’s $100.

I still cant believe what I paid for this stay. First...be forewarned rhat if you check in prior to 3:30 pm, you will have to pay a $75 fee.
Second...first rooms AC wasnt working. Spent 3 hoirs trying to cool the room off (88 degrees), then the hotel switched our room. Both bathrooms had long black hairs on the floor. The 2nd room had discolored caulk around the tub and faced a stone building. There is no way to get any natural light. I aso noticed the small lobby was also super warm and the two upper levels of windows were ao cloudy/dirty. $10 for a bottle of water. No espresso machine at the bar. The bartender was great though. They offer no small bites/nits/snacks at the bar, which really deters you from spending much time there. Its too bad that I wont ever stay here again because its super convenient to the train station, MSG and restaurants.

I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of this property. Friendly staff, discounted parking located next door. Madison Square Garden, Moynihan Train Station, Penn Station, NJ Transit ( train to EWR) all across the street, less than 4 minutes walk. Lots of options on the free breakfast, they even provide a guide on when to visit during less crowded times. Will recommend and stay again :-)

Very nice one night stay
Very nice stay! Were allowed early check in which was extremely nice after a long day of travel. Hotel was quiet and great for exploring the area. An easy walk to Times Square & just across the street from Moynihan Train Hall which we left out of in the morning.

Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Only negatives were that one of the elevators was not working during our stay making it a lengthy wait some times. I was a little taken back when upon arriving an hour prior to the normal check in at 4:00, I was told we could check in for an additional $75 fee. I have never been charged at any other property for this service.

The room was clean. However, only 2 of the 3 elevators worked and the 2 that worked were terribly slow, which was annoying becuase I was on the top floor with my family. Also, there was a huge crack in one of the windows. There were some features of breakfast that didn’t work like the juice station. The bathroom had a sliding door, which limits privacy, especially since there were 5 of us in the suite. The sofa pull out bed was very uncomfortable. Every time I tried to call the front desk, I got a busy tone. Just overall frustrating.

I stayed here when I saw Greta Van Fleet at MSG and it was such a perfect experience! It was so nice to be just steps away from the concert venue. Super convenient! Staff was kind and attentive and the room was nice. Only stayed one night but it was enjoyable. I will definitely book here again in the future!

A great gem!
This was a great gem in NYC. It is conveniently across from Monihyan train station and also very close to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. The place is clean and modern. A free breakfast is offered. Be careful with the elevators. They are compact and do not recommend more than 8 people. Several guests were stuck for over an hour because they overloaded the elevator. Overall great stay!

We loved the staff at the rooftop bar Blu. They were all very friendly and professional.
We arrived at 3:50 for a 4:00 check-in and our room wasn't ready until 4:10, which wasn't bad but it does state 4:00.

For location this is a great choice. Room are hit and miss, first room they gave me had no AC and someone else's hair in the pillows. Lobby had huge portable AC which made so much noise and blew the hat right off my hair, the bellman walked right over it rather than help me. They also added water bottle fees, like their rates where not high enough. Check your linens at check in and your bills after check out.

Making the room and cleaning is done every 2 days I've been told. All the garbage stays in the room, no new cups, etc. Breakfast offering was mediocre. Great city views though. I wouldn't rate it at 4 stars. I personally have experienced way better 4 star hotels and am expecting much more.

Check in was slow. Waited a while. When I was being served, the man answered the phone and had a very long conversation which was irritating.
Hotel was clean. Room quite compact. Had three sets of keys which didn’t work and they had to call the engineer to get us in the room.

Fabulous hotel & staff
This hotel is in the perfect location, directly across the street from Moynihan Station and only a quick 5 block walk to the Javits Center. Our room was clean and comfortable and had really good air conditioning from the sweltering heat and humidity that was in NYC during our stay. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. This will definitely be our go to place whenever we need to stay in Midtown.

Unfortunately the condition of the room was sub par for what i paid to stay there. The window had a large crack in it, the bathroom sliding door literally took all my strength to open and close, the bathroom had hair all over from the previous occupant and a few towels we receive had stains on them. Very unpleasant accommodations. The one saving grace was the very pleasant staff we encountered from the second we arrived.

I booked a king bed for our stay. Upon checking in I was given a room number. When we arrived in the room it had 2 double beds. I was unable to call the desk from the room because the button on our phone was not working. I went down to the lobby and was told that even though I booked a king sized bed there was none available and that the double bed room was an upgrade. The girl at the desk was very disinterested in helping me any further. A double bed is hardly an upgrade for me and my spouse on a romantic getaway. We barely fit in the bed together. The roof top bar was closed from 4-630 for a private party so we were unable to enjoy it before our show. That was also not mentioned to us at check in. We were told that we would have access to the bar until 1 am. Overall a very disappointing experience
