Rust, blood colored stains and pubic hair.
The hotel itself is nice and the guy who helped me at check in was great but the room was old, not cleaned, had a red blood color stain on the floor next to the bed. The bathroom was the worst. It was dirty, had rust in the shower drain and had what looked like pubic hair on the shower’s edge.

They only came to the room every other day. They also only made the bed once during our stay. The other times they just swapped some of our towels and left then on the table.

I made my reservation weeks in advance. The check-in was good, but I could hear the water dripping into a pool as soon as I opened the door. The bath leaked, and wasn't draining. I called to get a different room, as I didn't think this one should have been given to a guest. I was told there were no rooms, and had to wait for someone to come try to fix it. I banged on it enough to get the drips to nearly stop, and held the plug up to let the water drain.
I got no compensation for this mess up. It's clear that the staff knew what the condition of the room was before I got there. This should not have happened. The staff was helpful and friendly, and did what they could to help, but management failed.
Other than this, I enjoyed the hotel and my stay there.

This is a simple hotel good if you’re on a budget and looking for a place to sleep. Staff was very friendly and valet was free. Our room had lots of issues though - missing shower curtain, broken dresser, night stand drawer was missing a handle, no closet, toilet would not stop running, and safe did not work.

As an Expedia VIP, I was promised an upgrade if available but when I checked in the front desk tried to up sell me and when I told her I was suppose to get an upgrade if available, she flatly said no and told me I can pay $20 extra for the strip view room. I declined and she became cold and she just gave me the keys. I didn’t get any direction as to my room or elevators or a map or info paper on the hotel casino. Terrible service.

We were there for Cheer Nationals and it was great. The amount of staff present to direct and help was amazing. Everything was clean. Food and drink options were great.

The restroom shower heads and tubs need maintenance and updated. Very old restroom doors with no locks. No near by trash bins to throw out trash. Room service and housekeeping took forever. Other than that, it was good.

Staff was always very friendly. The facility itself was nice enough downstairs, plenty of food and drink options. Gaming options were sufficient. Quality of the rooms left a lot to be desired. Good and spacious but in a desperate need to be modernized. The tub didn't drain all the way, neither did the sink. Water pressure down right hurt it was so hard.

We Found all the employees we dealt with to be very pleasant and helpful and the property well-maintained. The only thing we would have liked was a small refrigerator in the room. All in all we had an excellent stay at the Orleans in Las Vegas.

Guest service could use improvement. I travel to Vegas 2-3 times a year and try to stay at different hotels every just to experience new things. This location barely offered me an upgrade when the hotel was completely empty. The very least they should do was give me a better room, which is one of the things I look for.

I booked a stay for 2 nights for business and I thought I’d give it a try. I was very pleased by on how nice the place looked on the inside. One thing though is if you guys can fix that awful smell when you walk in from the parking garage to the poker room. My son refered me to come and checkout the oyster bar but unfortunately they were under construction. Overall I was very satisfied with my first stay here. The best part is the poker room, i love coming here for tournaments and cash games and also playing blackjack. The dealers and waitress are very friendly. Would diffenitely come back and stay here again for business. I am actually coming back here next weekend for the Love Affair concert bringing along 12 family members. Our family do these trips to Vegas a few times a year and we can have up to 50 people so we thought we’d give this casino a try. I hope they will have the same experience as I did so we can come back here for future stays.

The Orleans is not too far from the strip. It's common areas are nice and seem clean overall. The rooms, however are a little dated. My room smelled a little musty. The lamp near the bed didn't work, neither did the outlets on the lamp. Water pressure and temperature in the shower wer good and the closet space was ample.
Overall, it was not a bad value.

The property as a whole is very dated, which I know is common in Vegas. But they could at least keep it cleaner. My room was less than ideal. First, the bathroom sink was clogged. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it took me 4 attempts before anyone would come fix it. No one at the front desk gave a damn about my problem. In addition, there was quite a bit of hair, which told me it hadn’t been swept or cleaned. Very gross. During my stay, I dined at the Bailiwick and it was awful. The highlights of my stay there was dining at their fine dining restaurant, Amber & Birch. That was fantastic! The other positive thing was the gentleman who helped me check in. He had a wonderful attitude, clearly knew the property well and greeted me with a smile. In summary, if you can stay elsewhere, I would.

OK but not again.
I was nervous to stay here but I did because of the convenience for a cheerleading competition. Although very convenient, the rooms are large but old and dingy. The shower had rust stains, the carpet had sticky parts and I had to make sure I was wearing shoes or socks as to not step in it. I stayed in room 1904 and across the way in room 1905 there was a lot of noise and the police came and it was just very uncomfortable. This hotel caters to a certain clientele that may be more prone to trouble like this. I will not stay here again.

I was expecting a little better, the self parking was outside and not covered and in a rain day isn’t a pleasure to walk to the hotel, our room smells like sigarette and the floor was not smoking, the beds where comfortable and the check in/out person very helpful, I might give another chance.

Overall not a good stay
This hotel is old, but I had a few issues. The floor (carpet) was wet infront of the tv/dressser, when I pulled the shower curtain closed a huge glob of black hair dropped out of it, the ice machine or something was leaking and it smelled like wet dirty carpet. They did provide us extra pillow/blanket & towels as requested but never serviced our room and we were there 3 nights. We had to stack trash and try to scrounge up trash bags. We only stayed here to be on site for the event we were there for. Rough stay, but I’ve also had worse experiences.

The check in was the best part of our stay. It was fast and the guy at the desk was really nice. It was really cold and the beds had a very thin blanket. I called front desk to ask for blankets and she said that there were no blankets left to give. The beds were not comfortable and the sheets were hard and itchy. Other than that, the room was decent and clean.

Enjoyed our stay.
I really love the amount of space that there is in the room does not feel crowded and that it had a sofa to hang out. I don’t like that there is no frig and that housekeeping does not come to your room to clean even after calling and requesting to them to come. Not a fan of carpet or cloth sofa being in the rooms because I doubt that they get cleaned often in such a large hotel. But I would stay again for the price.

It took over an hour for security to respond to our 3 phone calls about people running up and down the halls at 10pm at night hitting the ceiling and doors. House keeping didn’t come once during our 3 day stay not even to give extra towels or toilet paper. The ac hardly worked set it to 60 degrees and it was way cooler in the hallway then in our room and every 45 seconds it would make a loud noise that kept us up all through the night. Really disappointed in our stay this whole trip.

It is very convenient if you’re there for any type of event such as cheer competitions. Downfall is there’s no fridge in the room or microwave and an outdated coffee machine. Lots of big families so to not have a fridge is an inconvenience. Their staff do excellent on handling the crowds to elevators/rooms.
Heavy traffic during events within the hotel. Great on that. Although the release from their arena after an event is way to crowded and I feel like there should be greater control over that to avoid issues. Too many people and cannot get thru the area and it’s increasingly hot being stuck in a
Big crowd with limited exits. Accessible restaurants and plenty of choices. Uber/Lyft is easily accessible at this location. Easy checking in and out in their kiosk’s.
Take an ice chest if you’re in need of storing food and drinks.

Not coming back
The hotel did not seem well kept. Housekeeping did not come to clean or restock our toiletries on 4 night stay. Had to request for toilet paper due to them never coming by. There were street workers lurking outside every morning. There is no direct entrance to the hotel rooms, so you have to cut through the casino. Wifi is not included in the resort fee and is pointless to use, as it was really slow. The only redeeming factor to the hotel is the theme of the hotel which is new orleans based.

The check in was horrible. I was trying to check in early. If u check in before 200pm, they want to charge you 30.00 to check in early, because they say they now have to get the room ready early. They tell u that u must pay a resort fee which includes parking, but parking is free, but it is in the total of this resort fee. But while i was waiting for the 200pm check in which was only 30 mins away, i observed two couples entering the hotel and they were checked in right away with no fee or mention of a fee. I don't want to say it was because they were "White" but they were. I asked about this and I was told it is the Front Desk Mgr decision to charge or waive the fee. Room service was shut down one night, the restaurant was closed one evening. So overall not happy with this stay. As much as u try to get questions answered, i was told that is just how it is. So I asked about the resort fee, charging for parking which is free anyway. I was told i could have used Valet, but why do that when parking is free, until u get there and it is included in this resort fee. I was not happy at all, but i'm sure the Hotel can care less about one guest, but things did not add up. I was charged for free parking. If i wanted to check in early by 30 mins because i arrived early, but i saw others checking in as i waited and not charged. I don't expect to get any feedback from the Hotel. After all i;m just one guest.

I’ve stayed here several times and it’s a nice place away from busy Strip. However this time the cheerleaders were there and it was so busy and noisy. Girls were screaming and running down hallways at 11pm and before 7:30am. Never again on cheerleader dates

Turns out my visit overlapped a cheerleader competition. There were hundreds of preteen/teen children roaming the halls at all hours and they clearly did not have the ability to handle that.

Restaurants were great but casino and rooms were dated, as was the bowling alley. Gym was very small and busy. No free use of spa. Entire hotel, including the hotel hallways and room had a smell of smoke. Ventilation was not as good as you would find on the strip. For the price is was an average stay.

Room service knocking on your door at 8:45 AM, a good idea for your front desk to print them a sheet of checked out rooms already and update every 1/2 hr until noon when all have to check out.
Poker room, some managers rolling their eyes if you asked the wrong question, geez, I feel more comfortable with that service
No room service of any kind around 6pm on a Wednesday night, my god, what idiot are running this casino, you have 4 to 5 restaurants open Assign 1 for each different night for room service, hire a couple of runner to get the food to the room. It seems you want cost control at the service expense.
You had a cheerleader competition, don’t put kids that are loud in the morning and running in the hallway screaming and waking up everyone especially us that stay late and gamble
Cleaning service need to be quiet and do their jobs not chatting in Spanish about what they did last when one is one room screaming at the other one in the adjacent room. Who is running this casino?
There are a lot more that observed, trust me I have 20 years experience and when I look at this beautiful property and see how horrid management is makes me wonder at what time they will bankrupt and get bough out.

I was not happy that the blow dryer was not working, and i called them 2 times , 2 different days for them to fix it. Since it was cold outside and we had to leave early morning every day for soccer games and i did not want my kid with wet hair but i could not make it work.

Our tub wouldnt drain, by the time I finished showering the water was above my ankles. The pillows were incredibly flat and the blanket was barely sufficient to keep warm. There was also a strange smell in the room that we couldn't figure out. While the stay wasn't horrible, I will not be staying here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.
