Great weekend!
Nice weekend getaway to catch the O's vs Dbacks games. Hotel stay was great. The check-in staff gave us great tips about the Metro-Rail, which made getting to the games and back easy and smooth. Property seemed newly remodeled and fresh. Amenities were great, shower was awesome, bed was comfortable, and the room was spacious. Great location! Would book again for sure!

The place was decent however staff was deceitful. Check out a day early due to unforeseen circumstances spoke to front desk said it wasn’t a problem and that they wouldn’t charge me for stay however they did and pretended like they had no recollection of me leaving early. I would of just accepted if they said they couldn’t reimburse me why lie about it.

Ceiling leaked!! I booked a two night stay here and after the first night the ceiling started to leak. Dirty water leaked on the dining room table and all over our snacks. Maintenance came, but we had to leave for my daughter’s graduation. When we came back late that night management informed us we had to pack and move to another room. It was inconvenient and we were in the middle of celebrating. They tried giving us free water for our inconvenience. Management said they would refund one of the nights. When I contacted Expedia a refund request was denied. I’m very disappointed with our stay. I will not return and I will not spend money at another Residence hotel again. Worst customer service!!!

The bed from hell
Everything was good except the bed I slept in. Literally sloped down in the middle ! Was rolling into my daughter all night! Other than that with no sleep, the room itself was fine.

The location was great... you could walk to a lot of different restaurants and shops plus it was only about 12-15 minute drive to get to Scottsdale to enjoy some of their shops and restaurants. Great location if you have kids that are thinking about attending ASU. Only drawback... wish they had an eating place inside the hotel for evening and that complimentary breakfast was served past 9am. Would stay again!

When we got there, our two queen bed reservation was a one king. They tried to blame Expedia (which we didn’t use) and then tell my wife that we booked it wrong only to eventually admit the error was theirs. We ended up getting a second room at no charge, but the service was nit great. The room itself was average

Excellent Hotel right next to ASU
Residence Inn by Marriott in Tempe is an excellent hotel. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The rooms are very spacious and clean; the suites with the full kitchen are really great for longer stays. Also, the free breakfast is a great touch, and also very delicious! I will continue to stay here whenever I visit Tempe.

We like this hotel because of its proximity to ASU as well as the restaurants in Tempe. It is also very convenient to jump on the metro train in order to go to Chase Field.

Love this place!
The coffee bar was so amazing! They had a great selection of syrups, milks, hot and cold coffee, teas and hot chocolate. The included breakfast was super good as well. Such a nice variety. I was very impressed with the room as well. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it all. I also enjoyed the rooftop pool with a view.

Great location when visiting ASU but more service
The hotel was fine but it is inconvenient not to have your room cleaned even though we stayed three nights. We bath and shower gel was empty and we only had one very small bar of soap. You needed to call to get anything replaced;soap, towels, etc. After paying over $300 a night I expected more.

This is a nice hotel in a good neighborhood. However, we are accustomed to somewhat larger rooms that are found at other Residence Inn locations. But all-and-all, this was a nice hotel, the breakfast offered was great, and the location is very good.

I love the location and the kitchen. The breakfast food was often cold. The cleaner that is used on the carpets was HEAVILY perfumed and so disgusting. For people that are so sensitive to scents, this was unbearable. I don’t like that only members can extend their checkout time.

The bathroom in our room smelled horrendous each morning. When I mentioned it to the hotel staff, the response that I got was “well did you flush?” It’s very likely a plumbing issue. I was pretty annoyed by their lack of responsiveness.

Great hotel but front desk could be a bit nicer.
The hotel had a great location. We were happy to be able to walk to different restaurants and be able to drive easily to many activities. The problem was a couple of the front desk clerks. It took three tries for them to get my parking scan card to work. I was stuck at the parking garage gate on three separate occasions requiring me to park and walk back into the hotel for them to “update”my card that was just given to me. Additionally they didn’t let me know about the limited maid service. When I called downstairs to ask, they needed to prove that they were somehow right and that I was wrong by stating “it was highlighted on the sheet we gave you.” They failed to give me any sheet upon check in other than my room key envelope. I don’t mind the arrangements; what I do mind is being treated like I wasn’t paying attention somehow and they absolutely could not have made a mistake. An apology would have been nice.

We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom room with a small kitchen. It was beautiful perfect size for a family of 5. The staff was amazing and very professional everything was super clean disinfected. It’s walking distance to downtown all of the restaurants. Free breakfast included, we can see a nice view from the pool. The full temperature was perfect not too hot and not cold. It’s super quiet and peaceful at night. I will say the only downside is the sofa mattress it’s way too thin not comfortable. They need to upgrade those mattress, so their guest can sleep more more comfortable. Other than that everything was perfect.

Poorly handled repairs
Hotel seemed fine and we were excited about it. However, upon checking in, we were informed that we would have no water the next night from 8pm until 6am the following morning. As we were there as a family on a business & vacation trip, that would be a significant problem as we wouldn’t return until after 8pm. The disappointment is not in the need to repair things but rather in the failure to notify us ahead of time or provide any alternative solutions to our stay. Instead, we spent half of our first day together figuring out where to move ourselves last minute and shifting our stuff while completing our meetings. The hotel still charged us for half of our second day as I couldn’t get us moved out until my morning meetings were completed.

The week before I arrived, there was a flood issue. I think there had been a sprinkler malfunction. Because of that, many of the floors had plastic sheeting everywhere and wallpaper peeled up. Some places had dryers running 24/7. But I was surprised that they managed to keep the noise and inconvenience to a minimum. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They couldn’t help the flooding issues, but I thought they were handling the cleanup nicely without being a bother to guests.

Could have gave a better price for the damage
Hotel has recently flooded hallways were filled with fans and drying equipment. Only 1 elevator working. Walls peeling water marks everywhere even light fixtures damaged. Wouldn’t stay until it gets remodeled. Going to have mold forever.

Overall the the hotel and room was very comfortable. We had a early check out on a Sunday (6:30 am). The breakfast did not start getting served until 7:00. Not having food that early wasn't that big of a deal, but having an early coffee option would have made our morning better.

I enjoyed the room it was very clean. However I wasn’t feeling well at all. I’m an extremely sick right now and my husband went in to check in for us. I made the reservation last minute and do to not feeling well didn’t put him on the reservation. Spring Training Trip
When checking in Dan was so friendly and helpful. We had handicap parking so we didn’t have to pay the $15 a day parking fee in the structure which was nice. Room was good size, kitchen was useful, decent size kitchen table, comfortable chair and desk for working. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The light fixtures in the hallways need to be replaced, many were damaged and unsightly. Bold coffee at the free continental breakfast was great, but had to stand in a line every day for it. I’m sure it’s not like that in non Covid times, so it’s understandable. Very quiet room except for the refrigerator made a lot noise. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and little market. Nice little downtown, college town area. Great location for many venues. We would stay here again.

I couldn’t be leave how bad of stay it was. View was the worst ever got to see the other side of the hotel and parking lot. Rooms are out dated the pictures on there web site show a vary nice place like the roof top pool I was bay disappointed. I felt I was over charged for what it is along with the $15 a night to park. I’ve stayed at different hotels right next door to this but wanted to try it out I’ll never go back. Coffee pot looked like it had been there for years and was disgusting.
