This property is cute and looks nice at the first but...
Our room was on the restaurant side, first floor…we heard everything inside and outside…very loud.
The location was pretty central which was a plus. We were only staying two nights for a concert.
Down side…we had NO hot water in our shower. I called the front desk and they basically said they would forward it on to the manager. They offered to have an engineer come up, but we’d already suffered through the fastest two showers in history at that point.
At check out, I mentioned it again and got an apology.
Not thrilled with the lack of hospitality.

This hotel was really nice and the staff were excellent. Pool area was amazing. The room was clean ...although they had a fridge in the room and it did not work would be my biggest complaint as there was lots of leftovers that ended up being thrown away. We had a very late flight and got in around 2am. Shout out to the lady who was working nights at the desk ... I've never had such a pleasant experience with night staff :) overall would definitely stay there again !

The 730am, 20 minute long emptying of the 25 dumpsters was least to be desired EVERY SINGLE MORNING of our stay. It was impossible to sleep through as it sounded like a construction site right outside our window. Also, extremely awkward to walk right through the middle of a restaurant to get to the elevator to get to our room, unfortunately it was the only path to get there. Wouldn’t recommend staying with friends as there is no privacy in the bathrooms, no proper doors to close the bathroom and the shower you can be seen right through the glass when entering the room. Hot if you are with your spouse but not for your family or friends. Everyone was friendly, room was clean.

Property was easy to find, clean and located in an area convenient to Ocean drive and the beach. We arrived very early, about 10am. They found a room for us to check into. It was an extra $75, but was worth it to us. The room was well appointed and clean. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed during the week and were not bothered at all by street noise or music. We could hear it, but it was not objectionable.
The restaurant, Naked taco, was below our room. The food, drinks and outdoor eating area was really good. The roof top bar and pool area looked nice, but the drinks were way overpriced. I paid $52 for two mixed drinks in small plastic cups….one time. You can drink far better and far cheaper at Naked Taco or almost any other place on Collins or Ocean Dr. Beach chairs and towels were available on the beach courtesy of the hotel. The people working the stands tending the chairs and umbrellas were friendly and helpful.
Great stay. Great hotel. I would highly recommend it.

The name gold room is misleading.
I wrote terribly because the room I received for the order I made via hotel.com was small, with no space and owfel. However, following an additional payment of $500 per night + about $100 in fees and taxes I received a wonderful guest room. Then the service and everything else was good for the room was available. For the last night, I was upgraded for $50 to a better room. The only complaint is that there were no coffee machines, coffee or tea.

Location was great, although you might expect a little noise there was a bar restaurant probably 10 feet from bedroom window that had extremely loud music till 2am on one evening, your view from the bedroom window is the bar. Room lighting was all or nothing. I would stay there again but definitely on the other side of the building. Staff very friendly.

Nice property with unique rooms. They are a little small but probably typical of that type of historic hotel. Everyone was polite. Valet is expensive and can take awhile to retrieve your vehicle.

We booked this hotel to stay a few days in South Beach after coming back from a cruise. Area is close to lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. Staff was helpful and the room was nicely decorated.

The room was very very dark and no sunlight in. Expedia says check out is at 12 but the hotel said 11. I asked for green tea and they didn’t have that available (unbelievable). One elevator in the naked taco side and extremely slow.

This room was advertised on Expedia as a king room for 3 people. I also arranged the morning of our checkin to have our daughter arrive before us and check in without issue. Received instructions from Tina on how to proceed with this, and she was extremely helpful. However, when my daughter actually arrived, the staff nearly refused to let her check in and charged her more to allow a 3rd person in our 3 person room. She was forced to upgrade rooms. The manager acknowledged that Expedia showed our room as a 3 person room, but nevertheless charged $50 to allow her to stay with us. Instead, they informed her that we shouldn’t have booked through Expedia and this is the reason the check in was so challenging. Way to throw Expedia under the bus for giving the hotel our business. Not likely to stay here again.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Dream South Beach Hotel, and I must say that my overall impression was quite disappointing. Several aspects of my stay fell short of the standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

No room service during my 3 night stay. I would leave the hotel all day, however the 1 hour I would return to change outfits for dinner is when they would ask to clean. I asked for a few minutes and for them to come back, they never did.
Limited soaps in the rooms, extremely tight space. The shower (when running) leaks out all over the floor making it slippery

Aaliyah and Mark were both amazing personalities and very hospitable! Mark gave recommendations of spots to go to and we enjoyed the recommendations. Aaliyah definitely deserved the award that was hanging on the wall! Would book the same place again in the future.

We had a great stay in South Beach. The location was awesome, close to everything. The rooftop pool was nice but definitely needs some cosmetic fixes. The staff wasn’t overly friendly but not a deal breaker. The housekeeping team was great, left our room looking fresh every evening when we came back! They did switch our toilet paper out the last day for some of the worst toilet paper I’ve ever used, but I’m sure if I had taken the time to ask for something else they would have obliged.

The staff and service that they provide is what makes this place a really good value for the price however the actual facilities need obvious maintenance, the rust stains on the tile floor of the pool made one of the only really cute spaces on the grounds, unable to be photographed.

Enjoyed my stay at Dream! The staff made it a great experience! Special shout-out to Omarion, Aaliyah, and Augustin - genuinely cared about every detail and made a point to see how each excursion was! Thank you! My only issue was the lighting in the rooms - the mood lighting was nice but just not enough for my liking in the evenings. Other than that, the stay was super enjoyable and I would recommend this property to others.

Let’s start saying I used love this place staying in the property plenty of times, but last time service was so bad, to the point I asked if they changed management, and the answer was yes! I’ll give some points, I got early there, was told they would give me a call once room was ready, 4:15 pm, fifteenth after checking started I went back theyvwas oh no one called you! Then order food by the pool, once I finished had some leftovers, asked if someone could pick up as a lot birds was coming and making a mess, tge answer was: you have take back( I was like wat?? I’m paying almost 300 dollars a day for that?) Sunday ( monday was a long weekend)I went to the pool, bar was closed! loke you going to miami, on sunny day to not have service? definitely will be looking for other options when im in miami!!

The hotel itself was clean. The restaurant connected was great. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The negatives were the walls are paper thin you can hear everything, that makes for a very long night of no sleep. It would have been nice to have a fridge and coffee in the room. If you offer a fridge by calling staff than you should have them for use. Did like the area it’s located easy access to a lot of things.

The rooms are not like the pictures. I called months beforehand for a total including deposit, when I arrived it was different. Housekeeping was amazing. The robes in the room are for a petite size 2 and very itchy. Umbrellas in the room are a plus.

The room was hot. Someone came to check it and they told me it was working. The air conditioner read 65 degrees, but it was extremely hot! Ridiculous! Checkin on Friday and the pool closed at 7pm security came upstairs and said we had to leave. Same hours on Saturday! What pool on the weekend in Miami close at 7pm! The beach stay open later then that. I’ve been to this hotel over the year’s multiple times. They have really changed. I should’ve paid attention to the bad reviews.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights in august. We are simple creatures and thought this hotel was nice enough for those days. Perfect location. The room was on the second floor, clean and quiet with working AC but was always a little too dim for my (older) eyes. We enjoyed the rooftop pool very much. And we appreciated beach access with loungers even more. But the best part was when Aaliyah at the front desk gave us our room right away although we arrived way too early for check-in. I highly recommend the Mexican corn and truffle fries at the downstairs restaurant. Best I ever had!

I recently stayed at Dream Hotel in South Beach and had a wonderful time! The manager, Mike, was incredibly nice and wore a stylish red suit on Monday morning, August 21st. He really knows how to make things right.
While there were a few hiccups with towel delivery and the night staff could use some improvement, Mike's kindness and understanding made up for it. The hotel's location is fantastic, and most of the staff were cool and friendly. The rooftop pool with a bar was a great place to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
Overall, my stay at Dream Hotel was enjoyable. Mike and the staff made it memorable, and the rooftop pool was a fun spot. I highly recommend considering Dream Hotel for a great stay in South Beach.

Awesome stay!
The whole 3 night stay was amazing, from check in to check out. My only issue was the dim bathroom light, and that the pool closes so early. But that is ok, I still enjoyed my stay. At checkout Lenard was very helpful and even helped carry my luggage to my Uber. Ill be back asap!

When we first arrived the room they put us in was dark, there was no mini bar or there was also the the iPhone charging port that was complimentary was not working either so they upgraded our room to a king suite. Everything was fine until Saturday when we stepped out to the beach only to come back with our room door sitting wide open with all of our belongings in it. We know for sure we didn’t leave the door open so we ran to front desk to alert security and ask them to check the room and the cameras only to find out there was no cameras facing the room. We did not stay in the room that night. The following day they told the security guard to stop checking the cameras and they were going to put us in a different room. The room was smaller then the one we had and we were scared still so we alerted the police. The staff was rude about the situation also. Be careful if you choose to stay there! I want a refund
