Great stay
Friendly staff, clean room & comfy beds.
With nice shower and hot water with good pressure. Great view from our balcony. Enjoyed the big bottle of free water and use of the barrowed umbrella located in our room. Safe & walkable location with fun bars & restaurants and farmers market on Sunday. When in Seattle we will stay there next time.

Very nice boutique hotel
This is a very nice hotel in a very cute neighborhood with lots interesting shops and restaurants. I am making a quick overnight trip. I am sorry that I will not be able to explore. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I have no complaints.

The property was very stylish, the rooms were spacious, quiet and modern. The restaurant needs a little help, but there are lots of options in the neighborhood. I would have preferred the restaurant was open for breakfast for hotel guests.

Our family booked two king suites. One of the suites the tub would not close to fill. They didn’t restock our coffee. When we first checked in we told them the make and model of our vehicle and we were advised to park in the parking garage, which our car did not fit and almost had an accident. You need reservations for the pool which we were not told about and the person was rides to my kids because they we kids. Do not feel like I got my money’s worth. On the other hand the rooms were clean, beautiful and spacious.

Beautiful property and rooms. The hotel is old and there are weird electrical things, our coffee maker didn’t work, one switch had to be on for any lights to work.

This is a really nice property. The basic rooms are very small, so we upgraded to a larger one on the top floor, which was well worth the money because it has a fire place and a sitting area separate from the bedroom. The view on the shared terrace is really nice. You can see the water. They also have parking on site, and as we traveled off season, the parking was free which is unheard of these days, so that was nice.
However, if you are looking for room service or a hotel with a bar, then this is probably not the hotel for you. They only offered late afternoon/dinner room service and the hours were limited. No coffee service and the in room coffee was really bad. We ended up walking to Umbria which is across the street for our morning coffee. They also advertise that a pool and spa are on site, but you actually have to walk to the gym next door, and it is a lane swimming pool for laps, which you have to reserve.
Overall, it is a very nice hotel, but I probably would not stay here again. I like to travel with my small dog, which they don’t allow, and the lack of room service, coffee service, and bar service did not align with the premium price of the rooms.

Room was nice but heating device noisy. The bed was very comfortable. It was very difficult to find the hotel in the dark, which it was at check-in time, because there is no illumination on the entryway and it's obstructed by an outside seating area on the sidewalk. The evening desk clerk was very unhelpful. The morning staff were fabulous. It's in a cool area but driving around the area is a challenge.

We used to live in Seattle and still try to come back to visit regularly. Hotel Ballard has become our go-to place to stay.
The hotel is beautiful, the staff are helpful, and the area is very walkable with tons of shops, restaurants, and even the farmers market on Sunday.
Even with all of that so close by, the rooms are quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Ballard. Walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and Farmer’s Market. Service attentive, friendly and top notch. The only place to stay in the Ballard area.

Absolutely love this hotel. The staff as well, both times we have stayed have been overly nice and accommodating. I will always want room 402 if we don’t have a suite. Haha.. Nice balcony. Great view. Ballard is a fun, peaceful town and I hope to stay more often at Hotel Ballard.

From beginning to end, the staff ensured that you are comfortable and helped with every request we had. Before our arrival, staff made arrangements for tours, for pickup from the airport. Emails were exchanged with the information to ensure all was to in order. Upon arrival, staff was there to greet us and helped us with various requests. The room was clean and very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. I can highly recommend Hotel Ballard.

Poor parking, front desk staff made it feel like we were bothering her, told her we wanted to use the pool and she had me fill out passes. Pool was closed. Party outside our room until 11pm. Couldn’t access view because of private party. Overall the worse hotel experience I’ve had, way over priced. I’ll never stay again or recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ballard. The entire hotel is very well maintained and the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooftop sitting area is a great spot to have an evening drink from the restaurant downstairs. Our king room had one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had in a hotel room. The room was a good size with appropriately sized furniture and had a private balcony with nice views of Salmon bay, the Olympic Mountains and Ballard Avenue. The large bath had a separated toilet area and a large modern shower. We would highly recommend Hotel Ballard.

Fab Find in Ballard!
A littte hard to find, but once you do... awesome! I have traveled in Europe and this reminds me of that. Fresh fruited water, coffee , a lit fireplace and plenty of stylish comfortable seating!
Easy check in, pleasant staff. Parking is in the back of the building below ground.
Stylish decor all through out. Turn down service, bottled water and plenty of coffee in room.
Very comfortable beds and great linens.
There is a bar/restaurant in the lobby

Everything was lovely - the only one issue was the shower. It was impossible to get the temperature to stay consistent. Too hot, then too cold, then too hot. Kind of annoying.
