This is a decent property conveniently located to downtown Chandler. We stayed for 5 nights and was happy to be able to walk to restaurants in the area. The hotel has a very nice pool area and several areas that would be nice for weddings. The lobby is spacious with a lot of seating, a nice bar and nicely decorated. Our beds were comfortable although some people might like more blankets. The gym was nice and had decent equipment. We were disappointed that there was no laundry facility and no microwaves in room considering we were staying 5 nights. Our carpet was stained but otherwise the room was clean. We would stay again as the pros outweighed the cons.

Location is great, rooms are okay.
The location is great and the grounds were nice! However, it took a whole day to find out our phones would not work unless you hook to their service with a code otherwise all data and service is blocked. To access the pool and fitness room you must ask for a separate pool card as the room cards didn’t work. Room service only came around once a 7:30-8 am so, we didn’t get service. The coffee maker didn’t work and shower had issues.

The dining options, location, cleanliness and renovations were very nice. The reception was very good. The only thing that was not great were the very thin walls. You could hear everything inside and outside the rooms.

Fantastic historic property with the most spectacular swimming pool in Phoenix! Friendly helpful staff…clean, and nearby walkable shopping and unique restaurants. Cannot say enough great things about our stay. This is our second visit and will not be our last!

Beautiful Hotel!
The hotel was beautiful! Pool was nice and clean. Comfortable pool recliners. Front desk service was great. Bed was SO comfortable. Shower head was lovely. Truly no complaints, and you’re right in the middle of it all in downtown Chandler! You can walk everywhere. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel right in downtown, great bars and restaunts nearby. Nice to walk downtown and then walk back to the room. Very clean, nice and comfy! Great value for the price! Great pool and courtyard as well.

Needs some repairs
This property is very spread out. My room was not in very good repair. The drain plug was broken, the hook on the back of the door was broken, the phone would not work to dial out (trying to order room service). The ice machine tray where the bucket sits was missing. Guests were smoking everywhere which I am not used to being from Colorado. The air conditioner made a very loud banging noise every time it kicked on. Guests were outside my room chatting loudly until 3am one night so between that and the air conditioner, not much sleep was had. On the good side, the lobby was pretty.

Room was decent, it was clean and everything worked well. It took a long time for the shower to get hot but that’s not really a big deal. Staff at check in and around the hotel was very nice.
The property could use a good power wash or paint job. The exterior seem a bit run down /dirty. We were woken up at 6:00am by people talking full volume either in the next room or outside in the hallways, not the hotel’s fault, but beware the walls are thin and not well insulated.

The hotel was just ok. Our bathroom wasn’t clean and it made me wonder how much they really clean the place. Room service knocked on our door twice before 9:00am and woke us up…check out is noon. The bar area was cool but there was 1 bartender and about 100 customers so we left.

It was an amazing stay. Everything was as it should have been. We loved it for the date night, a lot of nice establishments nearby. Only thing I paid for the breakfast for two but it was so busy people were waiting to be seated and I didn’t have the time to wait.

We really enjoyed our week stay. The breakfast is really good, the pool is warm and relaxing. The hot tub could be little hotter, but still very nice to enjoy. The lobby & hotel bar is very welcoming. It’s very easy to navigate around and the Chandler bars & shopping are great. We enjoy coming here every year.

Was not given the room we reserved and was told one thing and not given the other very bad management I never leave a review but had to on this one the customer service at this hotel is very bad and that's to say the least good luck if you stay here

The lack of towels and blankets was disappointing. I had to call three times in the span of two days to get extra towels and extra blankets.
The room seemed dated and had a slight smell.
The pool was closed the first few days were there.
The bar lacked the necessary ingredients to make certain drinks

We have stayed numerous times at this property for various staycations, one-night getaways, etc. and, until this one, all have been great. Our neighbors kept a loud party going from 11:00 to 3:00. We did have security come and had them turn off the booming music, but loud talking continued for hours. Frankly, it sounded like a dozen people were in that room. Will have to remember to request a non-adjoining room next time as I think the doors did little to reduce the noise.

Okay stay but lacked cleanliness
We are from California and stayed here so we could attend a wedding nearby. We arrived with just enough time to get ready and head out. When we returned around midnight, we removed the blankets from one of the queen beds and found blood stained sheets and some hair. So we had to head down to the lobby and explain the situation. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and was able to change our room, however, no apology was given for the inconvenience. One thing we did notice in the new room we were provided was a card stating that our room had been cleaned and showed the name of the housekeeper. The original room we had did not have that card, so I'm not sure if that room had ever been cleaned prior to our arrival.

Location is perfect but shower curtain was dirty and room just was not as clean as we would expect. It rained overnight and large ditry puddles were left in front of stairs accessing our floor. Very messy. Breakfast though was awesome. Overall this is a nice place to stay.

We just love this resort!
We love this resort and have stayed here many times. The rooms are clean, have a bed, sofa, table, chairs, patio, etc. It is so close to downtown where there are many restaurants, movies, concert venue, shopping, etc.

This is such a beautiful property in a perfect location. We were able to walk to bars, shopping and food. There was so much of a selection that we needed more days to do it all. I highly recommend the Crown Plaza!

I liked the history, the breakfast and drink vouchers. I liked the location.
I didn't like the blanket that was folded in the closet, and had feces all over it. I could not find where the smell was coming from until I opened the blanket completely.
I didn't like that everywhere I went; pool, my balcony, walking around, there were smokers. I didn't like that my waitress never brought my lemon slices, so she did not get a tip. I didn't like that I was charged for drinks, eventhough I provided my drink voucher and gave a $5 tip.

Great little spot
A few little problems here and there. Double charged for my room. They advised it would be taken care of the next day and then they charged my card for another 280 dollars. The employees were extremely nice.
Breakfast was great and was with the extra $50.
Aside from that and the neighbors really enjoying each other’s company it was a great stay.
I’ll be back.

Housekeeping came by as we we’re leaving to go out and when we returned the room was the same. I was traveling with 2 kids and trash needed to be thrown out I had to bring my own bag. Very noisy! Walls thin or just noisy people. Definitely could use upgrades in the room and hotel. I lost my breakfast vouchers they were nice enough to replace them. Needed a microwave to warm milk for my son and they were let me use their employee break room. Was okay but ready to go home

Scammed $200
My booking was non-existent at the hotel. I had the confirmation number from Hotels.com, and the booking was not there. I had to pay THREE TIMES the amount for ONE NIGHT. Neither the hotel or Hotels.com have been able to refund me the near $200 wasted. Unacceptable.

The property was clean and we had an amazing experience. The pool was so nice and the rooms were a great size (actually bigger than we expected them to be). The area is walking distance to so many cool restaurants. My only suggestion is to request a room that isn’t near the construction… they are building another hotel building and they begin work at 6am! We didn’t know this because it was a weekend & holiday when we originally checked in. But they begin working so early I felt like they should have checked us into a room away from there since they begin work super early. Lots of hammering so definitely request to not be near it

I purchased a room for two nights for the sole purpose of being able to check in when arriving early in the morning on the second day. When I arrived I learned that because I didnt check in the previous night the room was given to another customer and I had to wait until 3pm to check in. So I payed for a room for two nights and was only able to use it for 1 and the hotel charged 2 different people for the same room.

Train your staff to deal with issues at reception
It was very disappointing, when we arrived we were told that we had only one booking and that the second booking did not exist, all four of us including the MAyor of our town had to sllep in the one room. They blamed Hotels.com and hotels.com blamed the hotel. It took hours to sort out the room the next day and we were still charged for the room we did not stay in.

Best Chandler Location
Everything was nicely updated. There were no housekeeping services during our 3 night stay, if requested. The carpet had stains. The pool area is very nice. The location of this hotel is the selling point. Everything is within walking distance. I would stay again because of that.

Found the lack of housekeeping services odd. The very small trash cans needed to be pulled, soap bars so little we went and bought some, ran out of toilet paper, went and bought Kcups because those not replenished daily. They said they offered housekeeping services every 3 days but you had to call and ask for it.

We were there for a baseball tournament close by and it was a great stay! Clean and comfortable! Little bit of a walk to elevators and parking lot but doable. Room service was delicious and a nice perk! Great location!

Cool hotel. The lobby is very nice and the area is fantastic. Right next to the golf course and lots of great restaurants. Friendly staff. They let us check out late. The rooms are pretty basic. There is some construction happening next door to a portion of the hotel. Might want to ask to be on the other side away from it. Pool is well kept. A little small for a hotel that size but definitely enjoyable. Breakfast and room service at the hotel was very good.

Get a room toward the front and away from parking
I started on the first floor at the back of the hotel. When I left for dinner, there was a family living out of their car back there. There are large storage containers that cats are living under, and a party of women had a party with a portable bbq outside my room. But the room was gross, too. The curtains were stained, the lamps were damaged, there was a beer bottle and glass on the back patio, the phone (to call housekeeping) didn't work, one of the bedspreads were dirty, the lighting was incredibly dim, and the curtains didn't close all the way. I got moved to room 203 and it was so much better. Still noisy, but clean and functional.

Front desk is so amazing and what was really cool
The blii ok bed lady at the Front desk is so amazing and what was really cool that’s actually remembered my name it’s me it’s not too often does that happen so I just wanted to reach out and say thank you to her and give her a boy or a girl she was awesome she deserves a permission and maybe you know something for being such a great employee making your customers when I come back the hotel was nice to my room was clean and the Browns are good
