Perfect walking distance to the All-State Arena and the best price in the area. Conveniently located by a Target and a bunch of dining options. Rooms come with a stove and fridge. Pots and pans available on request.

SPIDERS GROSS
Spiders all over the hotel scurried across the bed found a few dead and got bitten overnight. Horrible horrible stay had to switch hotels. Honestly would rather sleep in the car than with all the critters in this hotel.

Hotel did not handle our stay too well. They did not do our bed and did not give us clean towels. The front desk told us that there is charge for clean towels. Tv did work (no signal), and bathtub has a white stuff that I think was soap scum, ceiling sheetrock cracked. No coffee maker. This hotel was terrible, do not recommend it at all. Stay away. Other hotel offer better value for your money.

Great location but needs upgrades
The hotel room smelled like cigarettes and booze. The bathroom lighting fixture was flickering on and off. Bathroom rod was coming off the wall. I asked for another room was not able to be changed. They also said a maintenance worker would be by to fix the lighting problem. No one ever came. With everyone I spoke with had some kind of unwillingness to help.
Random people would be walking in and out. There was hardly any one at the front desk during evening hours..

Was waiting to check in for 30 minutes no ones at the front desk. Got my and found a candy wrapper and a dime behind the bathroom door, there something on the floor around the toilet, dirt and hair on the blow dryer, as well as a empty vodka bottle behind the t.v stand, Had a long night was to tired to complaint and just wanted to try and get some rest

There was dog hair on the couch, room smelled musty from dirty carpet, and the shower nozzle was backward, so hot water was only accessible after running the bath, going backward for hot and switching to shower. The shower curtain also smelled like mold.

The front desk was closed when we arrived. We had to keep calling for them to let us in. We were exhausted and it was a bit unsettling to know we had paid, but weren’t sure we’d be able to get into the hotel.

The staff was always friendly and accommodating with anything I needed and with other customer requests I saw as well. I chose this location for its proximity to Allstate Arena where I was going to a series of concerts for 3 nights. I walked to and from the venue each time, saving me tons on transportation costs. The route to Allstate is against a Main street with a sidewalk the whole way before turning into a shopping center. As always exercise caution at night, especially if it’s really late. The nearby shopping center has a Target and tons of food options, including a 24 hour Subway.
The room was clean and very adequate and huge. The kitchenette is such a nice bonus and a way to save on dining costs as well. I read about the linen/towel 1-for-1 exchange policy before going so that wasn’t a surprise. I saw before my flight that the front desk is not 24 hours, so as I was coming in on a late flight, I would have gotten there after their close time. I had to spend hundreds on a flight change but it was less than finding another place to stay last minute. The grab and go breakfast is granola bars, muffins, coffee…it was fine for me. The hallways smelled, sometimes of different types of smoke. I didn’t hear anyone through the walls when I was there. Would book again!

My first night at this property, the smell of tobacco and marijuana on the 4th floor was extremely strong and I could not sleep. I called the staff about the issue and an extremely kind woman not only checked out the 4th floor, but also moved me to another floor, where there was not a smoke smell. I am so grateful to her because I was beyond exhausted from traveling beforehand and worried about not being able to sleep because of the strong smoke (I am sensitive to smoke). She made my stay enjoyable and I really do not know what I would have done without her help.

Everything was exactly nasty at this hotel very disappointing. Our room was wide open when we came and all our toiletries were gone and who knows what else . there was ripped couches and chairs chewed table legs. We couldn’t sit on the furniture without having a blanket on it . There was gum on the wall and nasty stuff all over the walls here are the pics . The breakfast in the morning was coffee , granola bars and muffins that were stalled . The staff at the front desk was very nice . But the place was u kept and disgusting.

Convenient location from O'Hare airport both via car and public transit. Rooms are decent with oven and stove access with full kitchen with refrigerator and sink. Decent customer service. Paid Laundry facilities and small exercise area available too. I wouldnt mind staying here again if in Chicago area again. Take care.

I was given a room and when I arrived to the room the room was dirty and messy. The bed was not made, garbage on the floor and it was smelling awful. I was given another room and the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. The room was large but the lights were too dark and the bed lining had a dirty white color.

Room was not clean, there was so much dust on floor. Air-conditionor is setup just along with bed, it is very hard to sit/sleep on bed as air from AC direct come to you. 1201 rooms are much better than 1207 building.

It will do... The Extended Stay was a decent option for a hotel. It is not anything fancy but was clean and comfortable. The kitchen area is handy if you are staying for an extended time! The free breakfast was coffee and wrapped muffins. They do not have a shuttle to/from O'Hare, so plan on Lyft/Uber.

Please stop allowing dogs into the hotel.
The room was fine, clean, and the bed comfortable. However here are the gripes:
1) There was nobody at the front desk when I checked out at 7am in the morning; I ended-up just leaving my key on the desk.
2) The breakfast was horrible: there was a basket of muffins that tasted like they had been soaked in preservatives and some dried up granola bars and nothing else. No milk, no toast, no juice, no yogurt, no fruit...nothing!
3) Please stop allowing people to bring their pets into the hotel. I was woken up at 11.30 at night by the guests next to me that decided to take their dog for a walk and ended-up hanging out in the hallway for 1/2 an hour while their dog barked and they played with it. What??!!

It was alright for the night
Location was great for a concert at the Allstate Arena, but parking was limited due to other parking in the lot that were not staying at the hotel. Breakfast was nothing great, muffins and granola bars. Also, there are no ice machines near or that we could find, and vending machines are very hidden

Heavy burn grease inside oven dusty unit no public bathroom so if u get there lil early ull have no where to go to the restroom while waiting on the unit to be teady to check in

Close to Allstate Arena
This is a nice hotel for spending the night after a concert within walking distance, at the Allstate Arena. The front desk person wasn’t very welcoming and the lobby area was pretty dusty. However our room was very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was very convenient. Good price for the location.

When we arrived to the property the person at the front desk was very rude, we had some questions about the location and the price and he was responding with sarcasm and treating me like an idiot. He gave us a room , when we got to the room it was not ready and cleaned, we went back to the front desk and asked for another room and he started laughing but finally got another room.
When we tried to use the tv the remote control was not working, when I asked for another remote control he said that they don’t have batteries and he couldn’t take another remote control from another room because the hotel was totally booked. I asked to take the remote control from the cafeteria and he didn’t let me do it and if I wanted new batteries I needed to buy them by myself.
Sad to be treated like that, we have stayed at this hotel chain on the past and we have never had a situation like this.

Management Really Cares About Customers!
My stay was so much better this time. I wasn't happy with my last stay and the Manager Crystal call me on my personal phone and said she takes customer service seriously and said if I come back I'll get a discount, better Service, and a better room and she kept her word and for that I really appreciate this hotel because they really care about you. COULDNT CHECK OUT
My only issue with my stay was i checked out sunday night (may 31) but was told i had to wait til my actual check out date (june 2.)to check out in the computer.. I was still charged for the 1st and 2nd of june even though i physically left the property (checked out) on sunday may 31st. I would really appreciate it if I can have a refund for those days.

When I go to Des plaines I always stay at the extended stay. when I went to check in there was a lady by the name of Jessica who helped me Jessica was fantastic. I had a problem with the refrigerator so she immediately changed my room she went above and beyond what I felt was necessary That is a very good employee there.

This was the worse extended stay I’ve stayed at. And there was confusion with it being two separate check in areas for the property. I think the location my reservations were at was the worse of the two. Also the bed was supposed to be a queen but it seems like it was a full.

Pleasantly on work schedule
The rooms and halls were nicely cleaned and smelled good! Our room was good with the exception of a clogging toilet. Maggie was very helpful with accommodating me and giving us the overall basic and local info I needed.
Sometimes I travel for work with my kids, so this is a future revisiting and recommended stay I will remember this year.

Disappointing room
It was just the 2 of us. The bed seemed small so she slept on the pull out couch. We had to go to service desk to get the beding since they didn’t have any in the room. They had no pillows for the bed either. How can you not have pillows for a bed? It just looked like an older room. The shower rod was coming out of the wall. Also, there was hair in the tub so you know the cleaning people didn’t clean.

Sheets were full of hair, asks for another set and had to wait 30 minutes. Room was less than ideal. Location is great if flying out the next day or attending a concert at All State Arena though.

my stay was meh. we needed to use the sofa bed, but when we unfolded it there was no sheet on it. no bedding in the closet save for a pillow without a case on it. tried to call the front desk to get bedding, and the phone was plugged in but didn’t work. the sofa bed mattress was also extremely uncomfortable. t was lopsided and we could feel the springs in our backs. it was also FREEZING in our room so we turned on the heat, but in the middle of the night it kept turning on to blow COLD air. we only got one blanket for the sofa bed so we slept terribly not only because of the mattress but also because we were freezing. all of the clocks were also off time, each one a different time.. the hotel advertises free breakfast with muffins in the picture, however all we saw for breakfast was coffee, hot chocolate, and granola bars. you get what you pay for i guess, it’s nice that it was within walking distance of the allstate center. also, there is another stay america right next to it so it was very confusing while checking in.

Very good location
Very close to Allstate Arena and a bunch of shopping and restaurants. Plentiful free parking and right off the highway. Grab n Go breakfast was muffins and granola bars, about what you'd expect. No daily housekeeping though unless you pay extra was a bummer.
