Nice big clean room. However our room on the main floor was in an alcove right next a rear exit. Very noisy with people going in and out all night and early in the morning.

Good enough
The hotel was clean, and had everything we needed. The bathroom could have used more towels, which we were given upon request. We were there 4 nights, and had to have our room key reset every night. The staff is not very friendly, but not rude. The breakfast was very basic, but adequate. Very convenient location, and good enough lace to stay if you don’t plan to be at the hotel very much.

Ok, but not up to par
The place was clean, service was friendly. Could use some maintenence and a redesign of the breakfast area. While it was fine for 2nights, it was the most run down of any Best Western we've ever stayed in.

Easy check in. Facilites were great for the price. Very conveniently located to Carowinds, shopping and dining.
Only bad things were; GPS had hard time locating it. Uber ride to park was not easy. Would recomend just pay the parking

The room we stayed in was not terrible and it was perfect distance for carowinds. However, after coming home from a long day out the last thing we wanted to run into was multiple stink bugs in our room. We called reception and they could only offer us a spray of the room since the other rooms were booked. We kind of gave up and didn’t have the best sleep.

So-so at best
So-so. We stayed here as part of a 12 day road trip. Walked in to check in and the employee behind the front desk was in a chair chatting on his cell phone with a can of Raid in his hand spraying something on the floor multiple times. He eventually got off the phone to check us in. Breakfast service was subpar; coffee on the first morning was cold and very few options remained (breakfast times were NOT wad posted in the rooms). Watching the morning worker put things away - it was clear that food handling guidelines didn't apply - no first in - first out - as the muffins for the next day were stocked on the service trays in a random order for the next morning. Waffle batter was kept for the next days' service as well. The day worker was friendly enough and the room and pool area were clean, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again. We stayed at less expensive places with much better service during our trip.

This property says one thing and does another. If you leave a deposit for a room, they will find any excuse to tqke money from it. They charged me $60 for sheets because of an accident. Keep in mimd they told me just $30. If you go to this hotel, pl we ase dont ask for anything. They will charge you

I was only here for one night for a concert. The room was clean and the area safe. It was quiet at night for you to sleep. You can hear ppl in the hallways and I’d you have ppl above you, you Val hear them walking, but that didn’t bother me.

The stay was great. Check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The elevator had a weird smell but other than that there were no issues and I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again.

The first day/night were great, but the second day the health department closed the pool (which I had been swimming in less that 24 hours prior) and on day 3, at 10:40 am (check out time is 11), I could not find anyone to check me out. I’m still a little concerned that I was told by housekeeping (after ringing a bell and waiting forever) to just leave the room keys and it would be fine. I like to have closure with people who have my credit card on file.

It was as good as the reviews indicated. I stayed one night and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was so so, not a lot of choice and not the best quality, but adequate. The employees were very respectful and pleasant.

Longer breakfast hours would be nice to enjoy sleeping in while on vacation.

Overall the hotel needs a complete overhaul. Very old. Lumpy beds, square bed pillows (instead of king size ones for a king size bed), our key cards ONLY worked for 24 hours, even though we were there for 3 nights (so we had to have them reprogrammed every day), a heavy mildew smell in the room, shower head barely worked, linens are seriously aged, breakfast was deplorable except for the yogurt. They did clean the rooms every day, which was very nice. And parking was easy. Although it was a non smoking hotel, someone was clearly smoking pot in the stairwell. I mentioned this to the man on staff (who happened to be right by the stairwell entrance), and he ignored me, which leads me to believe that it might have been him or he knew who it was. We were on the second floor and our room reeked of pot inside. Disgusting!! Later on in the evening the smell of pot returned, which means it happened again, and the guy on duty did nothing about it. I would never stay here again.

The air conditioning unit within my room sounded like someone was putting ice in a blender every time it started. I did not stay the night and checked out at 6:00pm after checking in at 3pm. I will be stopping payment for the room.
The front desk staff was rude and non-accomodating. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Really enjoyed the location of this property. It was reasonably priced for what we needed. That said, the free breakfast was minimal at best. I don't expect gourmet, but the included breakfast was a deciding factor and we ended up at a restaurant anyway. During our journey, we stayed at multiple hotels, including another BW that offered twice the selection. This one had a tiny pile of undercooked bacon, a few egg patties, bread, yogurt, and a waffle maker. The sausage (I assume) was gone by the time we came down (about halfway through the 2 hours.) It appears that they do not restock as things are emptied. The "warmed" foods were room temp. There were a bunch of peanut butter packets, but only one packet of jelly, which was past expired. We arrived an hour before check-in and unlike the other hotels, this one wanted an extra $25 for those 60 minutes. We opted to go spend that $25 at the Mexican restaurant next door for the hour. The walls and ceilings were thin, but we personally did not have any major noise issues; you can hear the people walking above you however.

Don't even think about it.
We left and booked another hotel. Hairs on the bed. Stains on wall and couch and around the tub looked discussing as well. Not to mention we booked a nice hotel in downtown for $50 less.

They do a good job but its at the end of a cul de sac. Bad environment. Weirdos around this area. Clientele is shady too. Lots of plane noise. Large gaps around doors let in light and noise. Crazy neighbor could be heard thru walls. No usb outlets. Old tv.

All in all this was a great value stay with above expectations amenities given the cost. Despite being near a highway, I really heard no noise through the night. It was very peaceful for me. I also loved the water pressure, room size, and the staff.
There was one considerable draw back: the beds are very firm. I mean very firm. Strangely it may have been good for my back given how I felt waking up, but it took a while to fall asleep because I'm not used to such firm beds.
All in all, next time I visit the Charlotte area, I'd definitely consider this place again, though I might bring a bed topper to make it a little less firm for myself.

Quiet and spacious rooms. Location needs better signage to guide you from main road thru other businesses' parking lots. (The large name of the hotel high up on the bldg faces an empty wooded area.) The equipment in the exercise room needs upgrading.

The place was describe as recently updated. The carpet was filthy, you have to carefully sit on the toilet because it wasn't attached to the floor, it was very noisy, and the breakfast was terrible. The juices were just water. Everything was put out once and never refilled including coffee.

Property was back a bit from the main road and was overall in a decent spot. People coming out woods from time to time. No juice or water available at breakfast. Room keys were shut off before check out and got locked out our room trying to bring items to car. Plus side the place was pretty clean. Hallways did smell like weed at night though.

The breakfast was horrible. Even after we called to confirm it was going to be a hot breakfast. They had hard boiled eggs and soggy bacon. Yuck. Then they had a sign for a yogurt bar but only had yogurt. No toppings. Was very disappointed. Two tiny oranges. No other fruit.

For a Best Western I guess I expected a little more. The hotel was on a dead end road. Even on the third floor there was lots of noise. Breakfast was okay, very crowded. Over all a decent stay. Beds were comfortable. Shower was fantastic.

Clean But Needs Updating
This is an older property, different from many of the other Best Westerns. It's kind of no frills and needs some updating. The toilet paper rack was loose for instance. But overall the room was clean and neat. One issue i had was that the hotel advertised that they had a gym you can work out in but when I checked in to the property I was told the gym was closed. Part of the reason i booked this hotel was to get a workout in so i was very disappointed to learn the gym was closed.

Well priced hotel with everything you need. Clean and safe. Pleasant staff. I come to the area alone on business. Many of the hotels have not felt safe to me and definitely were not clean. This is my “go to” hotel now!
