The people at Red Feather lodge were amazing and helped us out . We booked on Expedia and I put in one pet. Expedia does not pass that info on so there was not a pet room available. The staff went way beyond expectations to find a room for us. We were very happy with our stay but it could have been a disaster. Thank you Red Feather lodge for helping us!

Great place to stay in the Village. So clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds, laundry on site. Complimentary coffee, tea and granola bars. Would have loved a few more breakfast options. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We booked a room that was pet friendly. Expedia quoted us a price, when we arrived the hotel said they had to charge us extra for the dog. I wished we would have been told there was an additional charge.

I liked everything about Red Feather Lodge. There was no breakfast, but there is hot chocolate, coffee and tea 24/7 on the lobby for everyone.

The woman checked us in was rude. We paid for hotel price but they put us in the additional building in the back that were clearly matched as "motel" on their map vs. all the rooms in the check in building was marked as "hotel." Our room is like a motel 6 level.
The only good thing is its location which is just 7 miles outside the park. I gave it 3 stars for its location only.

We were in the Hotel side they upgraded us and loved it. It was quiet. a few places to eat around the area and a few stores. Very close to the south entrance to the National Park. Only downfall is that there is no where to eat in the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel near the Grand Canyon National Park.
The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the shower and toilet were clean, but the room was not equipped with a safe.
I will add that breakfast is not served and the hotel offered a 10 percent discount at several restaurants near the hotel.
The hotel's hot drink station is superbly equipped, hot coffee, a large selection of tea and hot chocolate upon request from the reception desk.
The big disappointment was discovering that the hotel does not offer a heated pool or jacuzzi in the winter season (in my opinion, this is actually the best season for that).
I will conclude by saying that the hotel is nice, nicely decorated and in a great location.
The hotel is recommended for overnight stays near the Grand Canyon National Park.

The hotel room was decent. The outside lingered of the smell of cigarettes. Parking close to my room was difficult. The staff a look also accused us of having a pet in the room and then threatened to review security footage to prove it. The staff behind the desk was very rude to my wife. This is not the only lodge in the area. Plan ahead and stay somewhere else.

This was out first time visiting the Grand Canyon and, since I wanted to stay close to the South Rim entrance, this hotel seemed like a good choice. This place is amazing! From the staff to the cleanliness, we were beyond impressed during our stay. Although they don’t have breakfast on site, there are a couple of places within walking distance that you can get 10% off when you tell them you’re staying at Red Feather. The Bonita Plaza Restaurant was our favorite.

They have two buildings. We are assigned to a small , old one. And there is no vending machine and microwave in our building,not even in hallway. Checkin was slow, looks short of hands

The hotel is new. The facilities are quite good especially the AC/heater is relatively quiet compared with other hotels we stayed during our travel. The room is spacious and comfortable. I have no complaints on the cleanness. There is a Mexican restaurant in the property which is convenient after back from hiking in the canyon.

Basic hotel room was clean and as advertised. Thin walls and our neighbors came and went what felt like every 5 minutes causing the lock on our door to rattle loudly. Sounded like someone was knocking on our door repeatedly. Reduced comfort score due to noisiness.

We stayed for one night in the motel section of the property since that's the only section that has pet friendly rooms. The room was very small and outdated. The photos on the Expedia are misleading. They are taken with a very wide angle camera from an angle that makes the rooms look big but they are actually very cramped. Bathrooms are also very small and there is very little closet space. Parking is also a struggle since they are close to Grand Canyon National park which is one of the most visited parks in the country. Not recommended.

This property is good but it has 2 buildings- one as a hotel with better standards and the other one is a motel. When we booked, we paid for hotel but when I checked in it was the motel that I was offered. So be a bit careful on this on what you pay for and what you get.

We lived on the first floor of a two-floor motel type room. The soundproofing between the upstairs and downstairs is awful. We can hear clear noise when people who live above us walk around, even they just walk normally, like everybody does. Except that, the room was clean and the location is good, close to the entrance of the grand canyon.

The property looks great on the outside at the lodge. The motel portion not so much. First the bathroom I had was not up to code. I had to remove the toilet paper from the holder in order to use the facilities. Not enough clearance for an average person. Secondly the seals around the door were not good and I had to put a blanket on the bottom of the door to keep the smoke smell from coming into the room. And lastly the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the beds didn’t even cover up the frames so if you dropped something off the front of the bed it would be a project to recover your property. Lastly the motel portion has no elevator so I had to settle for a room with twin beds instead of a king. For what they charge I expected better.

We stayed in the motel and had 3 rooms. They made sure we were together. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It would have been nice to have a microwave. The front desk staff was very helpful and answered all our questions about the area. We would stay there again.

This room was reasonably priced and worth the value. I would try another option if i returned to the area because the room was incorrectly noted on the key so we had to search for the room that fit the key. It was very small. The AC didn't work properly so the room was too warm. Housekeeping BANGED on the door at 8 am, not just a gentle knock but woke the entire family up as well as made the dogs bark. Check out is noon.

Beautiful Christmas lights and decor; cozy fireplace in lobby and outdoor fireplace seating area; friendly staff; pet friendly (make sure you notify them when reservation is made); new furnishings; comfy bed; quiet; convenient to Grand Canyon National Park entrance. No restaurant, but offers discount to Mexican restaurant next door, and other choices are nearby. Coffemaker in the room, and coffee/tea offered in the lobby in the a.m.

We stayed in the motel portion; the hotel portion looked much newer/nicer. The shower was terrible, just a dripple of water and the valve seemed very wonky. Coffee maker in the room didn't work. TV in the room is tiny.

The hotel was simply nice. It was clean and served its purpose. I felt the price was unusually high for basic accomadations. The location of course is great, but for $200 a night, there should at minimum be a microwave in the room and complimentary breakfast.
