Great hotel with unique feel
Loved staying at the Alfond Inn. It is very clean and updated but also has a vintage and unique feel. It doesn’t feel like a chain. I had breakfast in the restaurant which great. The bar area was nice as well.

had been awhile since are last visit. our room was in the new addition which was spacious and well appointed. unfortunately only got to stay one night. next time will stay longer to try out the spa and its new pool

What a beautiful hotel! We had two complaints we shared with front desk.Our tv for streaming was not working even when we called to get it fixed and in the bathroom under the sink it looks like there are drawers as there are drawer handles but it is fake and when someone goes to pull them open, they can get hurt as my friend did and the entire fajedraw came off.

They booked us in a room right above a construction zone. So loud early in the morning. 25 dollars a day for parking and 20 a day for amenities(basically a pool). Food was fair at best. Never again.

Fabulous stay.
Fantastic stay at this chic, art-focused hotel. It was the perfect location to explore Winter Park. The collection of contemporary art at the hotel, is expansive & impressive. Gorgeous newly renovated room.

Great night! The town is awesome! Everything actually worked in the room. Only the shower was wet after taking one. Didn’t hear neighbors conversations. Walking distance to some fantastic restaurants.

It is very nice we were in rm 241 the door was not hung right hard to open very hard to open from inside we reported it in case of fire that door very dangerous. Other than the door everything was excellent

Loved the art installation and unusual and beautiful architecture. Lots of space and light. Room was decorated with clever details and luxury appointments. The food was delicious at hotel restaurant!

1 there television system does not function properly.
2 Room Service starts at 8am; that does not work if you have an early appointment.

To be fair the property was under going construction and our room was right by it, so I once that is done it will be amazing! The rooms are luxurious and the beds are incredibly comfortable. It is so convenient to Park Ave so we took a lovely stroll to the area. I also love the space in the hotel, very old Florida with a nice modern lobby. My only negative was the pool was quite cold.

A lovely hotel with all the bells and whistles. Wonderful staff. Very comfortable rooms. Seems they thought of everything. Plugs everywhere, lights, and mirrors often lacking in hotel rooms. The room was very quiet and the facilities lovely. The only negative is that when the kitchens close between 2 and 5 pm, there is no room service available. We will visit again.

Best Hotel in Winter Park
The Alfond Inn is a beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff located in majestic Winter Park. We have stayed here a few times and are always impressed by how helpful the staff is from the moment we arrive to the second we depart. It is an a very comfortable and clean hotel. The beds are comfortable (the pillows a little hard) but all in all there is nothing we do not like about this establishment.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly, but there is a lot of room for improvement, in particular with the restaurant. I ordered room service and I got my food on a plastic container, and the salad was half a lettuce. Also, if you are allergic to eggs you have no luck with breakfast.

Initially I was upset because I didnt realize until after i booked the room that the hotel was under construction. they were nice and offered to let me cancel. i still went and so glad i did. amazing property, really amazing neighborhood and the hotel itself is 5 star...the facility, staff, rooms, food, etc. plus a mission about giving back to the local college.

New rooms are amazing!
The minute I walked in the door I was in love with the new premium rooms at The Alfond. I would describe the decor as updated mid-century modern and it is stunning. The size of the room is the first thing you notice, and then you begin to be aware of the beautiful decor. The little touches in the room also serve to make it feel less like a hotel room and more like an apartment. The etagere that actually held real books was my favorite. The double sinks in the bathroom and the gorgeously tiled walk in shower was a close second! I was obsessed with the decorative peacock area rug that was cleverly inlaid flush with the wood composite flooring.
I could go on and on, but safe to say, this is one of my favorite hotels. Location is prime, restaurant is good, workout facility is large, pool and pool area are nicely done, staff is top notch, etc. Well worth every penny and your pennies here are actually helping fund scholarships to Rollins College, as this hotel is a non profit entity of the school! A win win for visitors!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful quiet neighborhood close to downtown Winter Park shops and restaurants. Staff was exceptional from parking valet to front desk. Room was spacious and hot water available for showering! We liked the upgrades in the hallways. Hotel was kind enough to notify us ahead of our arrival of ongoing upgrades and construction. They even had a sign in lobby of what level of noise we were to expect. They were nice to let us do a late checkout. Parking valet had my car outside ready without me having to tell them! Overall we highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay at The Alfond Inn. The staff was beyond courteous and pleasant to interact with. The facility is beautiful, pool was nice and warm (and clean), the room was spacious and the bed/pillows were amazingly comfortable. My absolute only gripe, if I had to list one, would be the shower head - it was quite small and I think the shower would benefit from a bigger rain type shower head with a wand. The shower was not an issue, though. To top it off, parking was always available on the street in front of the hotel and the great selection of restaurants on Park Ave were less than 5 minutes walking distance.

Wrong Room, Bugs in open Pool, pool two closed, always on Flood Lights facing Room Patio, Old incorrect Property Photos on Expedia per property mgr, dirty breakfast dishware at restaurant-lipstick mugs, and dried food on silverware. Stay away from this smelly, dirty, loud, inaccurately described, overpriced college run property.

Beautiful hotel with two issues: The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and not a single staff member was there to speak to the guests. We only learned we could go back to our rooms from a firefighter. No staff spoke to anyone or directed anyone. Second issue: The bathroom cabinet false door with a false handle broke off its hinges and missed toes by an inch. The piece covers sink piping. When we brought it to the attention of staff, they said they were well aware of this problem and that it has happened before. The hotel needs to replace the faulty piece before someone gets hurt.

Suggest staying at the Alfond once construction is completed. We were told upon booking and again at checkin that the construction of a new wing would not impact our stay, however, not true.. Very hard resting during the day as drilling, hammering and loid noise were constant from 8am onward.. Water presurre was going in and out as well, so a nice hotel but the Alfond should not be placing customers anywhere new construction activities.. A very disappointing stay, not least they continue to charge full price...
