Pre-Christmas Stay
Grateful that pets stay free, as we had our 2 small Yorkies with us. However, there was nothing in the description that said only certain rooms were allowed. Upon check-in, we were told the king room we reserved wasn’t pet friendly so we were given queen beds instead. I’m not sure how ANY room on the 3rd floor is pet friendly. Disappointing. In addition, the room didn’t have enough light which may seem like an odd thing to say for a sleeping room, but when not actually sleeping, it was very dark. The sink faucet also dripped. But for a budget hotel, it was decent.

I have stayed at several Motel 6 properties before, and was expecting a decent basic room. And it was just that. But it was like being in a cave inside the room. It was incredibly dark, even with every light turned on. Please rethink your lighting so that guests are able to read or do other visual activities with some degree of comfort, and avoid eye strain.

Not sure how this place got the high ratings it has. I’ll sum it up by saying it is not good. No toiletries provided, no hairdryer, noisy, etc. Other issues as well that would take too long to explain. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

I don't usually stay at Motel 6 but this one ended up being a really good choice and seemed like I was staying at a typically nicer hotel. Overall, would really recommend the Motel 6 in Bristol--the whole building is very nice and comfortable (must've been recently updated). Breakfast options were typical of a hotel breakfast and majority of the staff I interacted with were very friendly.

You get what you pay for...
First impressions... Walking into the lobby late at night to check in and getting overwhelmed by the smell of weed was a bit much. The beds were made, but the blankets hadn't been washed recently. Sheets were well used. (Dont look at the pillows, just know they have cleanish cases... yuk) Pee stain on the matress cover was pretty nasty too. Bathroom was cleanish but the tub was slipery so be careful. At the end of the day.. it was what I paid for. Not the Ritz, but the three S's and not much more.

Great stop on my way to Mississippi. Convenient from 81. Close to a ton of restaurants and Walmart. And even found a Dunkin close by this morning.

Girls trip
My friend and I stayed here two nights while we attended a local concert. The area was nice and the room was decent. When you walk into the lobby, there is a strong smell of weed. Not sure where it came from and it didn’t bother us but it is very noticeable. The room was a decent size and the updated. The floor was disgusting though and seemed to have not been cleaned in a while. The beds were suppose to be queens, they were fulls and were basically Murphy beds. For the price, the hotel was decent and I would stay there again

Great Half way point
Always a great place to stop. Staff friendly. Close to lots of places to eat. Close to Walmart in case you forgot anything. My only minus is the bed could be a little softer. But that’s just my preference. Otherwise A plus!

We had a nice stay. We were in town for the race weekend and it was a very pleasant time. No frills, but very kind personnel at check-in and check-out. Would stay again for sure. Very private and quiet location.

Nice hotel- but no amenities.
Overall, the housekeeper and front desk staff were very pleasant to deal with. And the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel were great. My room could have been cleaned better. Especially the floor/bathroom sink. I asked to have floor cleaned and mopped. However, when I came back there was still bits of things under the desk area. It was also definitely not mopped. Also, I noticed that my sink was not wiped down and I had to go to the front desk for plastic cups because none were left for me on a couple days. I also did not get a sheet change on my bed until I asked. I stayed a week and was disappointed in the way my room was cleaned.

Festival attendee.
This Motel 6 was great! I was attending the a festival in town and chose this Motel last minute. I was very please with the location and that a shuttle bus picked guest up and delivered them back. It was a good choice.

Check-in staff was friendly and courteous. Overall the room was clean. The room itself did not smell, however the hotel overall smelled very bad. I felt I was getting a contact high from the stench of marijuana and old cigarette smoke. There was no hair dryer in the room. Mattress was very cheap, few pillows and the AC being very loud overall lead to poor rest. The TV reception on multiple channels was poor and the picture quality was even worse. The toilet had no lid and you could immediately see the bathroom and beds when entering the room. Overall we would not return.

Nics place, everything at this motel was fine except for the beds, they are terrible. Hard as a rock, i had to sleep sitting up in bed with pillows behind me. I didn't get much sleep at all.

The building appears brand new. The inside is clean and tidy. Very close to I81, but not so close to notice traffic noise while sleeping. My 2 bed room was super clean and the bathroom was bigger than my own at my home.
Good value, convenient, good resources very close in the area. Will stay again my next trip in that area.

Property was great and recently updated. Comfortable, and accommodated our request for ground floor due to mobility issues. Good WIFI. Close to Interstate but set far enough back from the road that the noise was not a bother. Only issue was NO KLEENEX IN THE BATHROOM OR ROOM AT ALL. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Stayed one night while driving home. Hotel was right off the Interstate, and was easy to locate. Check in was quick and easy. Picked this hotel because I was travelling with my dog, and Motel 6 allow pets to stay free. Room was frankly much better that I was expecting for the price. Plenty of space, bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. I've paid a lot more for places that weren't nearly as nice. Absolutely would stay here again.

Pretty nice facility for the price. Would have liked for the "pet" section to be on the ground floor rather that the top floor but it wasn't really a great inconvenience and it was a bonus that there was no additional charge for our dog. Room was clean and comfortable and the desk clerk was friendly and polite. No continental breakfast on site, but for the price of the room it didn't matter.

Property was very basic. There wasn’t an Iron or board in the room. You had to ask the front desk. Headboards were filthy. The hotel had an unpleasant smell. The hotel has been remodeled but hasn’t been kept up

I’ll never overlook Motel6 again when shopping for rooms on Hotel.com. This wasn’t the old school motor inn. Just as good as other big “discount” chains without all the extras to cost more when all you want is a place to rest between days of being on the highway.

Not a good experience. First, the dude switched my room from a king to 2 queens because apparently the king was handicapped, even though the website didn't mention that. Then we get to the room, and it's disgusting. There is beard trimmings in the window sill, the floor is literally making my feet BLACK, I had to run to the store to buy cleaning supplies because it was that disgusting, the bed sheets had a cigarette burn hole (non smoking room mind you) the bathroom sink was clogged, the trash wasn't empty. I figured maybe the room was missed, so I go ask the dude if it was cleaned and he replies "if the beds are made, it was cleaned" and then walks off while I was telling him what was wrong. Had he not been so rude, this would probably be a 2 star review, but his attitude makes me want to lower this to a 0 star

I've spent considerably more to stay at motels that weren't nearly as nice as this one.
You won't get breakfast here but coffee is out in the lobby during breakfast hours.

Gannon is the best hotel clerk!
I love stopping at this Motel 6. It is one of the cleanest hotels we stop at. I want it give a special shout out to Gannon at the front desk. He is always so friendly and polite. And it is great to see a hotel clerk who dresses for his work. It is so refreshing to see someone in business casual and not jeans.

My GoTo Hotel
Heading to Mississippi and this is my halfway spot. I’ve stayed here numerous times. The staff is always friendly. And the hotel is always very clean and comfy. It’s also very close to Walmart if you forgot something and many great restaurants. But tucked away in a corner so it’s nice and quiet. I’ll be back again on my next trip south.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is only 7 miles from the casino and 8 miles to the pinnacle shopping area. Hotel was spotless. I have no negative reviews on this establishment. My stay was perfect.

The Hotel had a terrible smell in the lobby and on the third floor were our room was . The room was outdated , very small tv with a fuzzy picture on all channels , and was the same in the room our friends were in also . No coffee pot like in the past , and no hair dryer in bath , very bare minimum.

We stayed there because it is dog friendly and a great location when traveling. The room was nice but my husband thought the bed was too firm. The only coffee they had was an airport in the lobby in the morning and it was warn. We will stay there again for an overnight stop.
