Spend the $10-$15 extra to stay elsewhere
This is the 3rd or 4th stay at this location within the last year. Roaches, uncleanness throughout, bedding stained, excessively loud guests. Then to make it worse, i paid beforehand. Got there and was charged $75 deposit for nasty room. Homeless person sleeping in hotel lobby at 6:45 am this morning. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I was terrified!

Patrol police officers that was one thing I like. They was giving away bread and free donuts, that was nice. What is freshly painted everything was really good except for the heating unit very old couldn’t turn it on because look too dirty and old.

Room was in poor conditions, people loitering, room smell so bad 1 hr after i checked in i left this place, smelled like weed and the smell was in my room. Ceiling in my room had cracks in it and looked like it was about to fall in top of the bed , leaking toilet, it was just horrible

Disgusting
The front desk looks were nice but I've never been in a room that was so discussing I wish I would have taken pictures. I had my dog with me and I didn't even want her going on the floor o made her stay ln the bed. There was even hair all over the walls of the shower. Its smelled so bad like mole I wish I could have gotten my money back!

Checked in, went to our room, it seemed fine. No remote for the tv, asked at the office, maintenance will bring one. Waited 45 minutes, went out to eat. Still no remote. Went to the office, someone will bring one. 45 minutes later still no remote, bathroom fan filled room with pot smell. Changed rooms, bed was broken, sagged in the middle. Cleaning staff did the best they could with an older property. It was quiet and safe.

The room was really good and clean but may I suggest you bring your own hairdryer & your own shampoo and conditioner. Other than that it was a really good experience even though it was only one night.

Rude Workers
The front desk clerk and the maintenance man was very rude. The tub was stopped up and they didn’t even try to fix it until I asked who was the manager. They brought a plunger to the door and walked away. That was very unprofessional. I don’t work for Red Roof Inn

The property needs a serious refresh. The first room I was given the HVAC did not work. When reassigned, I had the same problem but the outstanding maintenance person was able to get it working.
I chose to park out front, where I knew there were cameras. The property is kind of awkwardly placed behind a different franchise hotel, and I’m up in the back corner where my room was felt. Very isolated and vulnerable feeling.

Run far away
The location is not what is advertised. It is covered in cats and feces. We didn’t even stay as the rims had broken windows and doors and smelled like urine. We are currently fighting to get our money back.

Disappointing experience

The shower was horrible. Shower head installed wrong meaning you had to huddle in the corner to even get wet. Microwave started arching and caught fire upon first use. No TV for first 2 days of stay.

I only needed a place to sleep for 8 hours thankfully because I wouldn't have stayed longer. It wasn't dirty but also not comfortable enough to put bare feet on the floor (there was some loose change on the floor beside the table so I assume that it wasn't swept or vacuumed). I searched for the best inexpensive place to stay and this is what I came up with. I expect the other places in this price range were probably similar. They best thing I can say about the room is that the air conditioner sounded like there was a wind and rain storm outside which I kind of liked.

The staff was super nice but when I walked into my room, room 215 to be exact I seen all type of mini bugs crawling on the bed, bugs flying and roaches was everywhere. I literally walked in and walked right out the room. There was no way that I could stay there. All of the rooms must have bugs and roaches because the staff said it was the staffs fault for not killing them and they said oh not again. This place needs to be shut down

The rooms are better on the inside.
From the outside it didn't look like much but the room I stayed in was very clean, no mold, no smell, cold AC, and fairly renovated. I gotta say, the inside of the room was way better than I thought and I would consider staying again.

Rude, dirty and unpleasant.
The room was dirty. The staff were rude. Using major credit cards should not require a $75 deposit, especially when the rooms are so disgusting. Hair all over the bathroom, spilled sticky liquid between beds. Cannot walk on floors barefooted because your feet turn black.

Nasty hotel
Hotel was nasty , floors were bad shape and dirty . Tub was nasty . Blood on mattress cover . Dog hair everywhere. Bottoms of bed which had indoor outdoor carpet on them full dog hair and look like puke or poop on one bed . Raised mattress up hair and something all under . Was loud there and not so good area . 75 deposit on room which no ideal why because was so nasty . Kids wouldn’t shower because tub n tub walls was filthy ! Floor was coming up in places behind bathroom door was pile of dog hair all behind it . Needed painted patches on walls and walls filthy . Nastiest place I’ve ever stayed , prepaid so couldn’t change it . Not even safe place should be torn down

The young men who checked us in was good.. he ran into a few problems so it took about 45 mins to check in but he was polite and very nice the next morning staf though was a hugely different story... check out lady was rude manager was beyond rude and nasty... i bought a brand new hair tie and from taking a shower and falling asleep(by the time we got checked in and showered it was about 130am) the black hair tie bled onto the sheets and pillows... because of this the manager decided she was keeping our cash deposit when i asked for her name so i could dispute it with corporate she told me very rudely to call corporate 1800redroofinn she proceeded to refuse to give me her name and called the cops on me... when the cops arrived i was told they have alot of calls out to the hotel because the like to keep everyones refunds... so beware ur room with taxes WILL BECOME doubled from what you expect to pay accompanied by some very ignorant people... but again the 2 gentleman from the night before were very nice and pleasant...

1 month in and still havent heard back from red roof inn ABOUT ANYTHING.... so disappointed

Dont waste your money!!
The room smelled terrible. The remote, phone and alarm clock did not work. The door lock wouldnt unlock and had to have temagnitized twice in the 2 hours i was there. I asked fir a refund was told it would be refunded as they had no other room to put me in, but they did not refund. Had to get my bank to deal with the fraudulent charge.

Nightmare Inn
I booked this hotel and didn’t even stay. The staff member was on drugs. He was high as a kite! Looking around extremely paranoid. Couldn’t find my reservation. I ended up having to call hotels.com, and they took care of getting me a new room at a different hotel.

The shower was filthy, the sheets had cigarette burns, the chair looked like it was picked from the trash, the room smelled horrible, the floor was dirty, the entrance and exit was dangerous, the door barely worked, the sink was dirty.... it was just disgusting...

Smoke-free?????
Overall it was good. Everyone was nice esp when I had an issue with my key. My complaint is I had a smoke-free room but it smelled so strongly of smoke in the room and lobby. My clothes smelled of it, I bought febreeze to help the smell. There was little black stuff on/in the bed and towels that I take was ashes from cigarettes. It wasn’t a lot but noticeable. For the price it was a nice room but if it’s smoke free my clothes shouldn’t smell of it.

I travel a lot and I’ve stayed here before, and like last time, if I’m on a budget I’m definitely staying here. Customer service is amazing and the room is a decent size. Don’t come here expecting a 5 star hotel. But it is a comfortable stay. The only issue I had this time was the light for the sink area was out but it was no big deal.

Wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed, but definitely wasn’t the best. For the price I paid I’d say it was ok. The person who checked me in was professional but the person who checked me out not so much. Room was nasty, but the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing. Overall if I’m in a tight budget I’ll d definitely stay there again.

When i checked first the room they gave me someone was in there it was frezzing cold outside had to walk back to the office gave me a other room .i go in that room put the heat on waited for about 40mins the heat doesnt work .had to wait for maintace to come to the room checks it and he had to change the unit out at 2am . had to work at 7am.

The room looked somewhat like the picture. My room needed update bad.the tub was old it was two different colors in the inside.when ever showered it back up, the water wouldn’t go completely down into after everything was shut off. Room was missing items from the picture as well. Overall the stay was ok. For the little time I was there. The stuff was nice.

The bed was comfortable and for an older property it was nice. The only complaint I had was the noisy people in the room next to me, made it difficult to sleep. Slamming the door the door, operating a business, people coming to the room all hours of the night.

Prioritize avoidance. Javier the front desk clerk is remarkably arrogant and incompetent. He insisted I didn’t have a reservation. He refused to look at my Expedia confirmation emails. Javier insisted Expedia doesn’t book rooms at all. He said they merely take money then hope the customer doesn’t complain, so Expedia can pocket the cash.
Okay, I’m dealing with an idiot. I called Expedia. The representative was a delight. She confirmed everything was in order. She resent the reservation info and called the hotel. Javier refused to answer. She tried again. This time Javier hung up on her. I told her I was not surprised, given Javier’s character. An Expedia supervisor took over. She called the hotel, miffed at the situation. Javier told her even if I did have a reservation it no longer mattered because they were out of rooms.
That was a bald-faced lie. I spoke to several couples in the parking lot who booked from scratch. Javier turns every situation into confrontation instead of smooth and cordial. The lady in front of me paid the $75 deposit by cash. Javier entered it as paid by credit card. She refused to sign until he fixed it. Javier twice pushed it back to her, saying sign anyway. Then he mocked her behind her back as she departed.
Fortunately I had the last laugh. Expedia found a vastly superior hotel and area for me in Alpharetta. Expedia covered the price difference. The desk clerk in Alpharetta laughed at my Javier story. “We would never hire anyone like that.”
