It was nothing fancy and the bed wasnt great. It did come with a full fridge, stovetop and microwave in the kitchen though which would be super convenient if you were staying longer. We just needed a place to crash for the night and it was a pretty solid spot.

Couldn’t tell which side of the building was the front or the back. The front of the building by the entrance had random lumber stacked against the building, just not appealing to the eye. Gave my boyfriend and I an off-putting vibe. Experience overall was decent

Rude, Intimidating staff
Fire alarm kept going off.. Staff were BEYOND rude.. very intimidating, almost threatening. When I called to attempt to assist my young adult daughter, he (staff) refused to give me his name, then hung up on me. Took the security guard and went to my daughters room demanding to know who just called, and told her to tell me NEVER to call him again. My daughter was in tears and afraid to leave her room to exit the hotel. I have requested a refund as she finally did leave from a back exit.

Disgusting if you're thinking think twice
One of the worst experiences I've ever had the air conditioner didn't work it smelled like pets all through the place not only did the air conditioner didn't work in my room they did not have the air going in the hallway so it made the pet smell even worse when I came out to see what I could do about the air conditioner not working the armed guard I said guard like whoa never had one of those before and they say it's a city ordinance but it really isn't because none of the other hotels in Arnold have armed guards been to everyone of them and then they tried to play like I'm stupid like I don't know how to use an air conditioner requested a refund and was denied actually she hung up on me

I had booked & paid for my stay through Expedia. But, for some reason, the payment seemingly did not post in the hotel's computer. So, when I arrived, I was told that I would need to pay again at the desk- not only the advertised price on Expedia, but an extra, non- refundable $50.00 ( tax) pet fee NOT originally advertised on their Expedia write-up. I was also asked to pay the $5/per night fee for the pet, but this I WAS expecting, as that fact was included in the hotel description. The night clerk suggested we call Expedia to correct the matter of my payment which had posted on my credit card, and the Expedia attendant on the line was both pleasantly & quickly able to solve that matter. I then paid the $55 separately and was finally able to be issued a room key. After three long days of driving across the country, this was not exactly a good start to the relaxing evening I had been looking forward to since booking these accommodations earlier in the day.

Bugs!!! Everywhere in my room! The bed, the floor, the wall, the counter. It is also RIGHT by a major highway so its LOUD all night. Hair in the sheets that were not mine. 2 positives is staff is friendly & also walking distance to grocery & other shopping. Bed was ok. Firm if you like that

We went to the sprint car races and came home at 2am and as per usual we were pretty dirty from the races, all we wanted was a warm shower and the best we got was cool water and no shampoo. I don’t ask much from hotels as I’m only there a few hours to get a little rest and move on all I want is some climate control, a comfortable bed and a clean shower that puts out proper temp of water and a small bottle of shampoo/soap bar. For $150 your property should be able to deliver that.

I would stay here by myself for work if needed, but this isn't a family hotel. The location of this hotel is great. The hotel itself is a different story. We got to our room and the door wouldnt latch shut. Told the front desk staff who in turn told maintenance, and then nothing happened. Told them again the next day and was told that maintenance probably wouldn't be in that day. Eventually the front desk staff had someone adjust it to be workable until we left. The floors were also filthy. Within 5 minutes of getting in the room and running around my daughters feet turned black. Had to borrow a broom to clean it ourselves. Bed was uncomfy. The proce is misleading also. I couldve booked an entire week on the hotels website for 100 dollars more than I paid on Expedia for 2 nights.

Was assured by the check in that they really have improved! Well I never been there before and I won’t be back! Wanted to leave as soon as I walked in! Mopped with dirty water! Dirt everywhere and toilet seat was broken!!! Yuck yuck!! It’s basically a place to live if you don’t have a home!!!

Couldn’t find any of the staff most of the night, tiles on the floor were coming up everywhere, just all around kinda dirty. I know for a hundred dollar room I’m not expecting the best but definitely expected better than that.

The property was clean and nice but it was eerily quiet within the room and you could hear all of the trucks passing on the nearby highway along with you could hear what was going on out in the hallways or in other rooms throughout the entire night. The employees that I dealt with were awesome though they were great and hospitable just like you would imagine and want at a hotel. My girlfriend and I really couldn't sleep at all throughout the night and so we stepped outside to get some fresh air and listen to music in my vehicle and walk the dog, and every time we were outside, multiple other people staying there who seem like they were tenants that they stayed by the week of the month we're up and bustling around at all hours of the night.

Cons: the entire hotels smells like cigarettes….including the pillows and towels.
Extremely loud all night.
Room wasn’t very clean.
Was asked by someone in the hall if I could give her money.
Elevator smelled liked urine.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and stay in a different hotel in the area.

Not pet friendly
Checkin requires all ID's of individuals staying. One night stay with a dog is $63 (I don't personally call that pet friendly). Sink and toilet didn't work, and shower was dirty. Internet that's fast enough for streaming is $2/day.

Check in staff was great and friendly told me about nurse discount because I travel. When asked evening staff Derrick he agrees told me to bring my badge to front desk. Asked staff y’all white male and he informed me there was no such discount because rooms were discounted enough was very rude and dismissive.

I told receptionist not to charge my credit card, that I would pay cash for the room when I arrived. She said they never charge the credit card util after the guest arrives.
I get there and they had already charged my card and gave me a hard time when. I asked the manager to uncharge my card, and let me play cash, as they had agreed. Eventually they did, but they made it as unpleasant as possible.

The staff was cold and unwelcoming. Every single night I have to call the front desk for other guest that “live” there having fights. Marijuana roaches and Blunt roaches all over the property. Horrible stay!!

Obvious residence for transients. Constant smokers at each intrance with loud gatherings at all hours by residents and staff. Extremely RUDE staff. Derrick at front desk did not even speak when asked to fix my card key that stopped working. Limited hours for help from the staff at the front desk. Developed a mysterious skin irritation and itching after the 1st night.

The price was decent. The room was decently clean. The whole place gave off "tightly-controlled gov't facility" vibes, like I was entering a halfway house or somthing. There was no hair dryer (usually hotels, esp. suites, do), which was inconvenient. The room felt very spartan. Walls/floors are very thin. Neighbors above us kept us awake all night with heavy walking about their room and moving/dropping furniture.

The person working the front desk was rude. The room was very dirty. Floors were sticky and bed sheets had stains and looked very dirty. The kitchen wasn’t even useable because they didn’t have silverware or plates. What’s the point of a kitchen you can’t use? Bathroom was in horrendous shape.. I will never stay there again. I actually want a refund as I didn’t want to stay there when I saw my room. It so bad I think the hotel should pay people to stay there. It was torturous

The pictures of the property on the website are very deceiving. Our room looked absolutely nothing like what was advertised. There was trash under the beds on the floors and hair clippings in the sink from the previous occupants. The room smelled of smoke/mold. And the gentleman that checked us in didn’t seem to know what he was doing.

Passed two cockroaches on the ground in the hall. A man walking out FROM the hotel room with a gas can seemed rather suspicious. Dogs running across the floor and barking in the middle of the night made it extremely hard to get a good night sleep. The elevator smelled of urine. When trying to check out the next morning no one was there after waiting for about 5 minutes so I left my key and called. When a man finally answered he was out of breath breathing very heavy and after about 10 seconds of catching his breath he said the name of the hotel and that he was Jeff. I told him I was checking out and he paused breathing heavily again and just said ok thank you. Very odd and off putting.
This was my first and ONLY time staying here.

The elevator was down. We were put on the 2nd floor. My mother who was with me is 82.

Do yourself a favor and book a different hotel
Do yourself a favor and just book the Drury Inn because I though saving $100 per night would be worth it but it was not. I had to go ahead a switch hotels 15 mins after I checked in. Tv wasn’t up to date, bed was broken on one side, bathroom light was dim and creepy, laminate flooring made the room feel cold...carpet is cozier. Bed is Possibly a roll away bed.
I read all of the reviews to make myself feel better about booking it but just do yourself a favor and book the Drury inn...free breakfast abs dinner and happy hour drinks.

Smokers tend to congregate around the doors making it difficult to bring your dogs out. With it located right next to a shopping center which is convenient for the guest, i would not recommend bringing your pets.

It’s located in a nice area. It all LOOKS new and updated. If you don’t have the extra money, it’s a fine place to stay the night. But, the beds are AWFUL. Hard as a rock. All through the night we heard dogs barking, people walking up and down the hall, kids yelling. The noise level was insane. Spend the extra $30 if you have it to stay somewhere that you can actually rest.

The hardwood floor was visibly dirty and sticky. Wiped it with a wet wipe and it came out black with one swipe. Bed was broken. Room smelled like a warehouse. Seems no attention was given to cleanliness. This was in stark contrast to our previous stay there.
We left one night earlier, it was unbearable.

I needed somewhere to stay close to the hospital so I wouldn’t have so far to drive in the morning. The bed was very hard but the pillows were comfy. Only other real complaint is they don’t have even the worst of hair dryers. I looked all over.

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel. It was the first time in almost 2 years we stayed in a hotel due to the pandemic. Check in seemed to take a while and I had to sign at least 4 papers. They made copies of both of our id's. We thought this odd. The common areas needed to be swept or vacumed. The floor we were on had very messy hallways. The room itself was clean but there was no attention to detail. Dirt smears on fridge, by light switches etc. The mattress was very comfortable I must say. You would have thought we would have gotten a good night's sleep but no. The people in the room above us were up almost all night. It sounded like they were moving furniture around. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

There was no hot water in the bathtub my entire stay. There was paint chips missing from the wall. Room was dirty. Windows and doors didn’t seal. Went to the front desk at 8:15 am and nobody was around and door shut at the front desk for any help. Left without talking to anyone. I will sleep on a bed of rocks outside before this place again.

Newer building, but room shows some wear. Bed was firm, and bedding was comfortable. Not as many amenities in the room as I have had at other similar priced chain hotels. Hotel is right next to huge shopping area. Not on a major route, so a lot quieter. The lighting for the room is 3 ceiling lights that can be independently operated. Full size fridge and microwave. Fast, large elevator.

Super clean, comfortable, quiet w/reasonable rates
I was pleasantly surprised upon arriving to this hotel. The price was the lowest of all area hotels and reviews were mixed so I was prepared for disappointment and to have to clean it myself. The room far exceeded my expectations. Super clean rooms and kitchen appliances. Full sized refrigerator, 2 burner stovetop, microwave and cabinets. It was the first good night of sleep for my child and I after traveling the past four nights and staying in accommodations not fit for anyone. The walls are thick or have superior insulation because I could hear other guest's, their tvs, kids yelling, parents yelling at kids...nothing. Blessed silence. I only wish I had discovered this hotel first, as they are booked into next month.

Thin walls .Noise. You can hear people just walking up and down the hallway. The interstate is a few feet from the hotel and you can hear all the traffic at night and throughout the day. Front desk person said he couldn't find more pillows when requested. Only 2 provided in the room for 2 people. Most hotels have 3 or 4 .

Lacks housekeeping services
Our stay overall has been alright. A few things that i feel needs to change... Ive stayed here for a week at a time ..and for some reason they offer no house keeping services until you check out. They do NOT come by your room as theyre going by cleaning rooms around you, to ask if you need anything such as CLEAN SHEETS, PILLOW CASES, FRESH TOWELS (u must take towels down to the front office and exchange them out yourself), yiy must take out your own trash.. They dont offer trash bags, and they do NOT have enough coffee makers for every room in the hotel.. We ended up purchasing our own for 10 bucks at walmart. (I mean.. Seriously?? Thats one comodity people look forward to at a hotel... The damn coffee! Well... Dont get your hopes up bc its likely that theyre still unavailable bc the ones they did have available are already all taken up.

The stay is alright OTHER THAN THE FACT THAT you dont get any house keeping services while youre staying here... Habe tontake out your own trash, exchange your own towels. House keeping will not come in and clean or change bed sheets or anything until you check out. The only thing we did not like. Even upon asking.. You wont receive any house keeping services untill you check out

Underwhelming but mostly clean
Underwhelming overall. An ok place to rest your head and grab a shower—that includes access to a full fridge/freezer, microwave, sink and stove top—but otherwise “eh.” Mostly clean, no bugs or pest infestations, pet friendly (we saw a LOT of dogs in our 2 days there). It’s awesome that the entire place is non-smoking, but it often leads to smoke drifting in from entrance doors when people do go out for their smokes. I went for a girls weekend of relaxing, and it was an ok place to be and safe, but definitely not your place if you want a “nice, homey” hotel. Fellow guests overall not what we had anticipated for a quiet night, but that is not the hotel’s fault.

I have traveled through business for over 31 years so I have had many experiences, good, some not so good. This was a pleasure trip. Staff was above average. Hotel it self was average at best. Heater/Air conditioner was noisy when it was working. I had to turn off at night in order to sleep. Walls were thin as I could hear walking and TV on both side plus the ceiling. The room next to me had a dog and it barked several times. I complained to staff and they were able to correct this problem.
Overall I would not recommend this hotel and neither would I stay again at this hotel.

This is a drug den! My wife was grabbed in the entrance hallway by a woman who was clearly on drugs. She and the man she was with were trying to get someone to let them in. Everyone we saw was on something. Do NOT stay here if you value safety and security.

We ended up not staying, as my kids were scared. We were told we might want to park where we could see our car out our window, in case the alarm went off. We were given a key to our room & as I opened the door, there was a family cooking dinner (it appeared that they lived there). We went back to the front desk, where we were given another room. As we went to the new room, there was a strong smell of marijuana. We left without saying anything, as the 3 kids that were with me were scared & ran to my car.

We were going to spend a couple of days in Saint Louis and the hotel is a bit further from the city than we expected, but since we had car, the highway was very close and since it was a weekend we didn't get too much traffic anyway. The rooms were very clean but we thought we had book a double room and ended up on a room with only one full size bed. The receptionist wasn't helpful at all and since we booked through Hotels.com just said that "next time book directly with us". I could only sleep on the middle of the bed, since the mattress had lost resistance on the edges. As soon as I would turn to the side I was "pulled out of bed". I guess you get what you pay for, THankfully it was just one night.

Wouldn’t recommend for a homeless person
Worst hotel ever. Ppl doing drugs in parking lot. The beds were unusable the “not queen” full-size bed in the room wasn’t something I’d give to a homeless person to sleep on. It had springs sticking out and was sagging on both sides and high in the middle where a support bar ran through. So you’d constantly almost roll off bed. Sounded like they had elephant children upstairs half the night. Ppl slamming doors and being loud in hallway all night long. Needless to say I didn’t sleep finally I started to fall asleep about 6 or 7 am. I had a do not disturb on the door and at 9:45 front desk started banging on the door I said occupied which is the normal answer to hotel staff if someone is still in the room. They continued banging to which I yelled again occupied. She screams FRONT DESK and I’m like and??? She’s like you need to open the Door I told her I’m naked. She’s continues banging. I’m like what do you want!!!!! She’s says I need you to open the door I need to know if your checking out. I said it’s not checkout time. She repeats. I said it’s on my reservation that I’m checking out today. Horrible situation I would never reckoned this place.
They also charged me $5 cash for my service animal.

Booked this room by mistake let me help you not to do the same.
Meaning to book pear tree in Arnold hit this by mistake.
I’ve stayed in some cheap hotels and while this was not the worst it was certainly a contender.
Checking in no wine at desk Sign says pick up any phone in the lobby and Dial for assistance. But no phone in lobbby area for into hotel n access without key card so I call on my cell phone and a fellow answered said he was busy would be right down. He came down and got me signed and gave me a card key and said there’s a little tricky might have to kind of hold it sideways to make it work I fiddled with it and just jerked it in and out of the slot eight or 10 times and the door opened it just didn’t fit somehow. Room was nowhere close to the picture this hotel has been ridden hard and put away wet. I’ve tried to spruce things up with some new linoleum and such but the place is pretty tired as well as Was i. I resigned myself to spend the night there and at least the bed was good’n firm but bathroom pretty scuzzy. For the same money you can stay somewhere much nicer I suggest you do so.

Met expectations
What we expected. Friendly service, clean room and reasonable comfort. Fairly good value. Great location as far as ease of access to most places in St. Louis.

You get what you pay for
Hotel had an odor that was not very pleasant. Bed wasn’t very comfy. Staff is limited so the front desk was manned about 30% of the time we walked by. They had Cartoon Network so my son was happy.

NO NO NO!
The hotel smelt of urine, I slept in my vehicle 1/2 of the first night the 2nd night because of the smell of marijuana and the bugs in the room. The toilet was broke, this is the scariest place I’ve ever been inside of. I had paid up front and could not get a refund. I was scared to leave my vehicle alone. The bed was so dirty, when I was in the room I sat on a chair that I used bleach wipes on. I’m not sure but lots of hookers air who appeared to be. I have a video of the toilet, I wish I could upload. I was in town for a race in Pevely MO, this hotel was one of the only closest options. I would give this hotel a -8. It needs to be condemned. Also, the place smelled like homeless people or poo.

Nice area, bad hotel
Not for sure why this hotel is maintained so poorly. The surrounding area is nice. Needles in the parking lot. Old hair in the bathroom. People smoking weed next time hotel entrances. Halls and rooms smell terrible. Animals barking and allowed in rooms. Cop cars undergoing investigations in the parking lot for who knows what.

Not so fun.
Room was not the cleanest. Towels were stained. No soap or toiletries were provided. Fire alarm went off and the people staying there said that is a common occurence.

Jeff behind desk was absolutely awesome. Tried to get us a room even though it was overbooked. Only room left had broken shower, but we could shower in a vacant single. In the end, $57 pet fee sent us to a different hotel. Husband was actually happy because of sketchy people staying/living there.
