Overestimated Rating in my Opinion
I was surprised by the rating on hotels for this location once we arrived. It is aging and showed the signs. Staff was very friendly though so I wouldn’t want to give negative feedback on them. I would not rate this as high as it is. Mainly the rating set higher expectations than the aging facility can meet. The air quality was poor and mixed with the cleaning agents used we found ourselves unable to stay. Granted my son and I were getting over colds so that made it harder. I think the overall rating and price should have been lower considering nearby places being much newer and nicer for not much more. Adjusting the ratings and fee would put it more inline with where the aging facility really stands in my opinion.

The hotel was ok. Shout out to the young lady that worked the evening shift at the front desk. She was super friendly, kind and helpful. I did not get her name but she was working the desk around 9 or 10 pm on Saturday night.

I forget what motel it is right beside Country Inn & Suites by Radisson where I stayed. Too much noise and ratchetness going on around their property which is a little too close for my comfort. However I enjoyed my stay at this location, I just had to watch my back going and coming in. Thanks for the hospitality.

The property smelled damp snd rooms were not very clean ( air vents and such were layered in dust) The paint was peeling on the room doors and walls.
After specifically choosing a hotel with a pool, the pool was green/ unusable for our entire stay despite being assured it would be fixed each day.
The ice machine was out of order for the last day of our stay and there was no other ice available. The staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be with the things they could control.

It’s an old Country Inn & Suites for sure. Could do with a lick of paint and upgrading.
The area is sketchy AF. Not the hotel’s fault obviously, but there’s some real shady people walking around there.

Overall, it was a decent stay for the cost. The room was a little worn and dated, but it appeared that updates were in-process. The breakfast buffet was great. Although it’s next to a major highway, I had no difficulty sleeping or with noise. The most odd thing was the lack of USB ports in lamps or anything. It was the first time in a long time that I’d stayed in a room that did not have any available.

Not in a great location, older hotel but nicely updated outside.
Not all staff was professional/friendly but one was very helpful.
Room was very clean and somewhat renovated. Large fridge was a nice plus.
Bed comfort was fine.
Room could have been more quiet. We could hear sneezing in next room, road noise annd doors slamming.
Breakfast was provided and though choices were few, it was very good. Eggs, biscuits w/gravy, waffles and other basics.
Cookies available most times and coffee, cappuccino and tea available most times.
Price seemed a bit high for this location.
I would stay again only if I had to be in that area, but wouldn't go out of my way to stay.

central location for my needs ... although area traffic is heavy and slow (just give yourself a few extra minutes against whatever the GPS says) plenty of area restaurants. property rotates breakfast offerings which is nice when your travels have you in one place for a few days.

Beds need an overhaul
Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Bed was not very comfortable and the room was very stuffy. The air did not work correctly. And our TV went out but maintenance came quickly and replaced it.

The good news is that my wife needed a soda late at night in order to take her diabetes pill because she cannot drink water with her pill. The soda machine was out of order, but the manager went above and beyond by allowing us to get juice from the breakfast bar late at night. And she allowed us to buy a soda from her office. The bad news is that I made a request for a room that is either on the first floor or near an elevator, but this request was ignored. However, the walk from our room on the second floor was not really that far from the elevator. The other thing is that the handicapped door on the side of the hotel had problems opening when we stayed there five years ago. This problem still has not been fixed and the door is even totally out of service at the moment. The stay however was very pleasant. The rooms were quiet, and the staff was very friendly. One day we left the room late, but the beds were still made and the room was cleaned. Also, before I forget, the lid on the toilet seat in room 204 is very loose. Thank you.

Nice hotel but bad smell in room 312
We had a King room that had a separate living room area. The room was clean but as soon as you walk into the room it had a strong smell of wet carpet that never went away. Back in the bedroom area the smell wasnt as strong but it still bothered me everytime we went in and out of the room.

Our 1st time at this hotel but it won't be our last. Hotel/room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
The manager on duty, Ms. Tiki and the kitchen help were very friendly and nice.The both of them made us feel welcome and their hospitality was awesome. Overall good relaxing stay. Complimentary breakfast could use a lil help.

I booked this hotel based on knowing the brand and that it had an 8.3 rating. I am a frequent traveler and this hotel was NOT an 8.3!!!! The beds were SO uncomfortable, small and the sheets were wrinkled. The shower was lukewarm and tiny. The breakfast was terrible and the night manager treated us like idiots when our keycards wouldn’t work (they continued not to work all weekend and had to be rekeyed continually). It also wasn’t very clean. It was truly one of the worst hotels stays we’ve had in a long, long time. The best thing I could say was there was free cookies and coffee and you were near restaurants (though the area was a bit rough for walking around at night).

Coming for family gathering. Hotel was clean, comfortable, great breakfast. Friendly staff. 24 hour cookies and coffee and latte’s. Great location easy on and off interstate. Restaurants located really close by. Only con very noisy from next door motel and interstate traffic. I sleep with ear plugs but my husband doesn’t.

Worst service we have ever experienced. The front desk attendant, Angela, was less than thrilled to check us in and showed it. With her multiple complaints and gripes along the way, I have never been made to feel like such an inconvenience. Then to be told well one system is telling me your room is clean the other is saying dirty. We still were pleasant as it wasn't her fault and was met with eye rolls and a negative attitude each time. Ended up thanking her for her positivity along the way. The front desk sets the tone for the whole experience and so far it has been set with the most condescending person wearing a Jesus lanyard that takes joy in belittling others. 10/10 would not recommend.

The property is dire need of cleaning. The night staff are not very helpful. My door card lock did not work the entire time that I stayed here. I asked for it to be repaired and it never was addressed. I had to get the desk clerks to open my room door every time. The parking areas are unsafe. The tub in my room did not work at all.

Watch out for the hidden fees after you check in
The stay was ok, nothing special. The problem I have is that the room reservation rate was one price including taxes and fees, then after checking in I find out that I was charged another almost $30 for some bull crap mini snack bar and other fees charged by the hotel.

Overall the stay was fine.
High humidity during the stay made the room almost feel soggy. Fan didn't work in the bathroom. Could use some upgrades. The hotel is located at the end of a dark street with a lot of foot traffic/activity. Doesn't give you the safest feel.
However, not too bad on price compared to others in the area. Conveniently located to restaurants, movie theater, stores etc.

The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was certainly adequate. What we didn’t care for In our room was a constant hum that sounded like tinnitus in your ear, the fact that the toilet ran on and off, for no apparent reason, and the bathroom in general left something to be desired, with a badly plastered sink and yellowed tub. Still, the place had an indoor corridor, and an elevator, and I felt safe at night, as compared to some of the other places we’ve stayed at in the area. I would recommend this property for a short stay in the Jacksonville/Orange Park area!!

The front desk was friendly and helpful and apologize for the lack of clean up crew who left the trash on the tv stand when entering the room to clean. One of the queen size beds had a pack of lifesavers and it was not made up as the other without anything on the bed was made up. It was explained to me that because if the mints, the staff was instructed not to touch the bed.
