Remodeled, decent. But there are some oversights. Common public area trash cans weren’t emptied at all during my stay. They were overflowing and only got worse while I was there. Door didn’t latch/lock properly on its own without help, so came back to door accidentally left unsecured by housekeeping. Biggest concern were some safety issues that stood out right away. Smoke detector had been disconnected and removed from room. Exit signs were improperly replaced during remodel and not visible. Multiple doors to stairwells wedged in open position. Fire extinguishers missing. It’s all fun and games and “come on, it’s not that big a deal!” until there’s a fire, and then it is a big deal. Issues reported to Gurnee FD Fire Marshall’s office. Won’t be staying here again.

Stay was ok but we will try somewhere else next time. We didn’t sleep good on the beds, the clock was never changed to day light savings and the phone started ringing at 2am with a pre-recorded message.

Great place to say while visiting Great America.
This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Great America. It is very clean, has a good breakfast and is close to the park. However during this stay we were approached by another guest, who said he was lonely and offered us beer. He seemed nice enough just a little strange.

THE PROPERTY IS CHEAP. IT ATTRACTS CHEAP GUESTS. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. IN ORDER WORDS, THE GUESTS IN OTHER ROOMS ABOVE AND NEAR YOU ARE LOUD, OBNOXIOUS. IT IS DIFFICULT TO SLEEP. ALSO IN THE MORNING THEY WEAR PIJAMA AND NO SHIRTS OR SHOES TO THE BREAKFAST AREA. NEXT TIME I WILL PAY MORE TO STAY IN A MORE DECENT PLACE. LESSON LEARNED.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress didn’t fit the bed frame and it had a u shape. The breakfast was just junk. Nothing nutritious, no protein options, just sugary junk food.

The room was great, staff was great! Only disappointment was that the pool was closed for two hours Friday morning so my kids couldn’t swim before checkout. We had planned on staying close to noon so they could swim. Main reason we chose this hotel was the pool and boom check out.

There are multiple hotels in this location. I've stayed at better. Our check in experience wasn't welcoming. The room was clean, tidy, and the beds okay. Breakfast on one day we were there was delicious and the next day was extremely limited. We couldn't check out at the desk because they understaffed.

You’re policy of having to be 21 years old to check in needs to be revised. My son was unable to check in late at night after traveling 200 miles and going to six flags for the day. I booked the hotel online so that he wouldn’t have this problem. He is 19 years old, has his own job, bank account and car. My card was filed online. These young people can serve our country at this age but can’t stay in your hotel alone even when they possess their own funds. UPDATE YOUR POLICY. Thankfully I was able to call another hotel that accepted him.

We only stayed for one night, passing through back to MN and to hit Six Flags after 5 nights in Indianapolis. The hotel is located right across the street from Six Flags and lots of food choices nearby. The rooms were very clean and the best were very comfortable.

The front desk attendants are not the best. I was told on the phone that I could check in early but their might be a fee but she literally said to me "I don't know". She put me on hold and then said there wasn't a fee but that I could check in early. I tried to do so and after waiting 10 minutes for an attendant to come to the front desk, she told me probably not and that she had to take a phone call first before helping me. She then told me no my room was still "dirty". We have also stayed at this hotel several times before the pandemic and there was a tv in the sitting area of the rooms. There isn't that anymore. Also, in this day and age smart tv's are usually common in most hotels. We will not be coming back to this hotel.

The hotel worked for what it needed to do. It was a place to stay while we visited Six Flags. The breakfast was satisfactory. The beds were very firm. The pillows were too small but were comfortable. Parts of the hotel are updated and other parts are not.

Very nice hotel
We we’re doing two days at Six Flags and booked the night here. The room was clean a spacious and everything we needed for our family if 4. The breakfast the next morning was very good with quite a few options and everything tasted good. I plan to book here again when we come back to the park.

The staff at this Property was AMAZING! I have 3 children two of which are very young and rambunctious, they made them feel welcome and adored. We wanted for nothing and the breakfast was perfectly fine for our family. The one thing was that the pool was a bit icky. Not the pool itself but the room it's in. They have a ver obvious problem with ventilation. There is rusted metal, peeled bubbling paint and moisture damage everywhere. They even had the windows open in 30 degree weather to help let the moisture out but that made it pretty cold in there while swimming. Overall I would stay there again for the price and the staff.
