Front desk staff is excellent. I don't remember his name, but the black guy that checked us in (after 11PM!) was super helpful and friendly. My son and his little dog loved the pet area. Keep up the good work, y'all!

For the price, this was a very poor place to stay. The room was old and small.

Clean and comfortable
This is an older Best Western that has been remodeled. The rooms are updated and modernized although a bit smaller than newer hotel rooms. The rooms all face the exterior so not as safe in my opinion. The exterior of the hotel is also updated and is clean although the age of the hotel shows in spots. Since the rooms face the exterior you can hear more outside noise. Not ideal if you have dogs. They also don’t allow your dogs on the beds. Sorry but no other pet friendly hotel that I’ve ever stayed at has the ridiculous policy. In my opinion the pet fee they charge covers any extra cleanup required. So I won’t be staying here again. There hot breakfast was very good even though Im vegan so I could only eat fresh fruit and oatmeal.

Convenient location off I-95, and this BW property did not disappoint in comfort and cleanliness. Bed and linens were very nice, with modern furnishings. LOVED the water pressure for a nice hot shower with a sprayer. The morning breakfast was over and avove with a cook to serve a few extra items such as french toast and scrambled eggs.
We also brought a pet at a very small fee compared to other properties. Will return again and again. Thank you

We stay here twice a year, on our way from FL back to PA, and have not been disappointed. The rooms are comfortable, and for the price, pretty good. The breakfast and the attendant, are terrific. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles made to order; yogurt, fresh cut fruit, muffins, bagels, toast, etc; coffee, tea, hot chocolate.

One night stay
Stayed one night. Felt safe. It was a rainy night and I didn't hear the rain. The water pressure was great. I had booked a pet room and didn't realize it and the gentleman at front changed it for me so that was nice. It was a simply check in and was an overall great stay.

Great guys at desk
stay there twice a year coming home from Florida. very easy with he dog back up right to room. The best part of our stay there is the 2 guys at the front desk. They have worked there for years and always greet you with a smile. seeing the same really nice guys every time you walk in after a long ride just makes you feel welcome.

Did not realize that this is a motel when I booked it. No interior rooms. Hotel is very outdated and the rooms were small and cramped. Housekeepers are out loudly rolling their carts by 8am on a Sunday. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming, but given the conditions of the hotel and the fact that it is a motel would not stay here again.

Great place to spend the night when you are heading south. This is a half way point for us, easy on and off the interstate. Great place to eat close by, Cowboy Jacks, and comfy beds.

The staff was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. Free hot breakfast in the morning, and easy checkout. They gave us options for first or second floor rooms which was nice, since we had a family member with a broken foot, I loved being able to choose the first floor room. Will stay again!

Nothing special but could have been worse?
The mold in the shower was the first sign, but we wrote it off as the place maybe being due for a deep clean or having all of the grout redone. It's one of the only places to stay in Fredericksburg and we didn't have many options and were exhausted. The room itself was ok, aside from the shower. Everything worked and the bed was flat and had pillows. It was pretty quiet and we kept the fan running for white noise.
Then came the second night of our stay (Saturday). After listening to our neighbors scream at each other for almost two hours, I finally called and asked for quiet hours to be enforced. The place was almost empty. There were hardly any cars by the rooms on the back part of the property. Why were two groups even put next to each other when there's so much space? Someone came up and talked to them. They settled down for about half an hour then started back up again. I blame myself for not calling again, but I was already so tired, i just tried to put headphones on and sleep. But if there is a known problem, I feel like staff should have checked maybe once more?
We didn't have neighbors the rest of the stay.
Would I stay there again? Yeah, if I couldn't find anything else? Would I recommend it to anyone? Absolutely not.
The man who checked us in (Victor? Bald with a killer beard) was really nice and the lady managing the breakfast area was very sweet as well.

Our over all stay was good, but the first night we had no cable. The gentleman at the desk fiddled with it and then got us a new cable box for our room. Breakfast was great and the rugby team on Saturday made things tight, but they were nice and polite as well.

Thankfully my swim bag was in the car. I got pool alone time!! An unexpected surprise to an otherwise sad trip for a funeral. The room was steps away from the pool. Water soothes the soul. Thank you for an uncomplicated stay. Delicious breakfast as well! Perfect!

I consistently staying here when I’m driving south and need to stop halfway. The service and facility are always excellent and consistent so I know I can rely on it! This is golden, especially traveling alone at all hours of the day and or night. I really appreciate this facility and it also has a pool which is open until 10 PM and a great treat. There’s plenty of gas right in the area and it’s actually got sidewalks and crosswalks and so it’s. easily walkable To pick up snacks or patronize anyone in the local establishments.

Property was clean. People were wonderful. My only complaint is when I cleaned up some spilled water off the floor the white rag was black so the floors aren’t necessary cleaned every day, but bathroom was immaculate. Well appointed.

I checked in really late / or early morning on my road trip. The entire staff was extremely helpful and my room was clean. It is an aging facility and it seemed that they put a lot into it. It was so much nicer than other motels. I do like the convenience of being able to go right out my door to take my dog out and access my car. Thank you to the whole staff!

If you need a spot for one night this will do, however I would not recommend it for longer than that. Our room was ok. Appeared clean and somewhat updated except for a gap right before the bathroom door that was filled with dirt, also the bathroom door would not shut unless pushed hard. I had to tape the drape to the wall so it would stay shut and the room door was loose. It locked but Would move slightly when pulled on. The breakfast election was ok, we have had better at other establishments. Staff was extremely pleasant, and attentive.

The pool was very inviting when we arrived. The staff was very helpful. We needed 2 light bulbs that were burned out. Also, our tv wouldn,t turn on and someone came to our room to find the. Able wire was loose.

We came in very late, 3am, was still met with friendly, speedy check in (Kevin, I think?) Which was nice because we were exhausted. Room cooled down quickly, everything was clean and working. Quiet, safe parking

I booked my stay through expedia and tried to call the hotel three times on 6/11/23 to let them know i was booking for a friend. There was no place on the expedia app to advise the booking was for someone other than me. Finally got a hold of someone at the hotel and they told me i had to check in and my guest could not. So i drove up to the hotel and they tell me i have to put down a $100 cash only deposit. The website or the front desk never told me this and i did not have any cash on me. i had to leave and go get cash for the deposit. To the say the least i was extremely frustrated with the lack of communication. Probably will never stay at the Best Western again due to this experience..

I consider this place somewhat "Retro". Reminds me of the motels that I stayed at with my parents and Im in my 50's. Everything worked and was clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast area was great.

Very comfortable, but no room clean service
Some spider webs on the ceiling; but the most important is: According to their policy: “No Room cleaning service done while guests are in, but only until they depart”. According to them, is because Covid restrictions? We thought these were lifted all over. So, we needed to go to room where they have towels, toilet paper and requested it.

This is make my third stay at this hotel and each time was as good as the last. People are nice and rooms always are very clean.
