Worth repeating
Wine country visits take us here multiple times a year. Great place for the money this time of year. Decent breakfast bar, remodeled room. TV is a hassle, and they might as well close the fitness center or move it to the basement. But we always enjoy our stay.

Great for the price
Staff were amazing and stay was great! Few small issues - breakfast was a little disappointing and the trash in our room had not been emptied from the previous guests. Plenty of parking, clean except for the trash can. Overall a wonderful stay for the price and location close to where we needed it.

Great deal near Dulles airport with EV charging.
Price was great, and I was able to charge my electric car overnight with no hassle. The location not far from IAD was what I needed. Only complaint is that the beds had sheets but no real blankets. I had to turn the heat up in the room and that was not very comfortable.

I hate giving bad reviews but I think this needs to be said, when we arrived after the check in time room/rooms not ready. When we finally got the room because they said it was ready. We couldn’t get in the room because the safety lock was over the door on the inside instead of offering us another room we had to wait almost 20/25mins while 2 different people tore up the door to get it open for us to get in our room our door already looked like someone broke into the room now even worse splinters of the door on hallway floor & our room. Our bathroom was not clean. Our room smelled like someone smoked in it. When trying to explain to the housekeeping they did not seem to understand what we were saying. When trying to talk to the desk she already seemed stressed that she didn’t really want hear what we said or offer another room. Was not the greatest experience.

The property is easy access off the highway and has a wonderful patio and back area that you wouldn’t expect looking at the front. Quiet and clean. Friendly staff. And a hot buffet breakfast with a fresh omelet station.

Tattered carpet in room, did not like bathroom - it felt old and tub was yellowed. A/c was inconsistent. Sheets did not fit the bed and popped loose during the night. Breakfast was ok. Location convenient to the area but I would not stay again.

There were ants all over our room. We told the front desk and the response was ‘oh. Sorry’ Our shower head was falling off (my husband fixed it) and the toilet ran (we fixed that too). We were sad the pool wasn’t open. It should state that on the site bc we booked three families with the intention that we would hang around the pool together.

The hotel and staff were excellent. 2 issues could have been improved. The water in the shower did not get much hotter than lukewarm. There were no comforters in the beds, only a sheet and a thin blanket. I would have been more comfortable with more generous bedding.

This hotel was located in a very nice and convinient area. Lots of shopping malls and restaurants around. Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is old and needs lots of room renovation. The admin of Best Western needs to find a solution to make their hotels smell nice.

Great place to stay without the frills
Great place to stay if you don’t want the frills but was reasonably priced for what you got. We had a king size bed which was very comfortable and it was perfect after a long day of travel. It was extremely quiet for the start of a Labor Day weekend.
Breakfast was ok and coffee hit the spot. Would stay again.

Ok visit - the good and the oppty to improve a bit
Overall not bad - here is the bad and the good:
1. the sink wouldn't drain and someone had to come in and fix that
2. The shower handle was either broken or just the weirdest handle ever invented. If you turned to the left you got just cold. Turn to the right is just hot. In the middle is off. My wife took a scalding shower, i took a cold one.
3. the room looked like pets were in it as some of the bottoms of doors were chewed.
4. No blanket on bed, just a sheet and a very sheer bedspread. front desk person was nice and got me one.
5. Was there for a reunion and sat in restaurant area at nite visiting with relatives, that was nice.
6. Parking was good.
7. Although didn't eat breakfast there did get coffee(too strong) and saw someone cooking omelets for the guests, that was not something I have seen in other hotels of this type and was very impressed with that!

I chose this hotel specifically for the pool. I called the afternoon we were arriving to double check and see what the pool hours were. I was told the pool would be open until 9. We arrive and I check at the front desk AGAIN and I am told pool is open until 9. Around 7 I walk my boys to the pool and it is locked. I go to the front desk and the woman says “the pool has been closed all day it’s not clean”. Which is the exact opposite of what I was told. The advertised snack shop was an out of order cooler selling hot bottles of root beer and la croix. NOTHING in this hotel is as advertised

The curtains were filthy wouldn't close. Smoke alarm hanging by a wire . The entire room was dirty. Staff were getting plates of food & drinks while guest had to wait during the continental breakfast i have never seen staff eat while guest were dining. In all my years of traveling this was the absolutely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

The staff are mostly pleasant,
But the front desk is frequently unattended, even after a few minutes wait.
The gate to the pool is usually padlocked, except when it isn't.
The Hotel has minibuses, which are even shown in pictures of the property. But why, don't know. I asked for a lift to the downtown area, about a mile away, and they were shocked by the request. They said no. So I walked for 20-25 minutes alongside a four-lane, fast-moving highway, in 90-degree heat. The ride would have taken under five minutes. I took Uber back.
As far as noise goes, it's OK until about 8am, when people start leaving. Then the room doors automatically slam shut very loudly. This goes on for about two hours.
They make a nice try on the breakfast. But as soon as the dining room starts filling up, the one staffer handing everything is hopelessly overwhelmed by food that runs out, various plates and utensils running out, the coffee machine breaking down, and so on.

Nice hotel. I wouldn't say it's five-star accommodations but if you are looking for somewhere to just lay your head it will do. The beds were comfortable, the staff was nice and the free breakfast, for the most part, was at least edible. Our one complaint was that the way the air-conditioner is set up in the room our room was either freezing or hot.

The girl at the front desk was not very friendly. Usually when we check into a hotel they ask for info on your car( lic plate make model etc) all she asked for was our ID's and credit card number. Also she did tell us where to find wifi info or any info(ice machine,breakfast). We got to our room it was nice but the curtains did not close and our room had a view of a street light air conditioning was loud and there was no info for tv channnels or any place to eat or things to do. Glad we had plans to visit friends. We would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel offered very nice accommodations for a price that was much better than the surrounding hotels! Really enjoyed the wonderful, and large variety of breakfast options!!! The bed was very comfortable. Overall a great experience!

I was given a handicap room in error as I requested a pet room. Thus, the toilet was horrible- so high as to be nearly unusable. The access door to the outside had a broken card reader. I brought this to the staff's attention, but it was not repaired in the five days I was there. The breakfast was above average for this type of property. The area for hanging clothes was totally inadequate. The television had a terrible picture; it was impossible to see either the puck or lines on the ice during a hockey game. I could not review my bill at checkout since the desk stated that it was available only through the booking site. I have not received anything regarding the bill from hotels.com. I was not given the pet rate until I was actually at the premises.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this BW was staffed with cheerful employees, had a very nice breakfast offering including an omelet/egg making station, and rooms were cleaned up daily without asking which in many places post COVID is not a thing anymore! The facilities were nice with a workout room and nice grounds. We had our dog with us and we were in a room next to an outside exit door. It was all very nice and as we have family in the area we will certainly stay there again!

I stay in hotels all around the east coast and this is the first time the rooms have been cleaned while I was there!! It’s very nice to have room service when I go out, I was at a Meriot hotel in Connecticut for eight hundred dollars for four days and they never cleaned the rooms!! It was nice to have a little extra service.!!

The facility is quite old. My room had a blinking light that drove me crazy, none of the devices at the Gym were functional, and my window was right in front of a streetlight, without the ability to shatter the window, so I had to sleep with a projector facing the bed.

FLOOD LIGHT BEAMED DIRECTLY INTO ROOM ALL NIGHT!
My check in was great and I was happy I got a 1st floor room; HOWEVER, once it got dark out and the security flood light came on and shone DIRECTLY into the room (HIGHLIGHTING every move because the curtains would not close), the stay became negative. There was no way to close the curtains, the light kept me awake ALL NIGHT, and absolutely no privacy. As a female customer, some advice to your front desk: never give a woman a room facing the entrance, 1st floor, with a flood light beamed directly into the room. NOT SAFE at all.

I have stayed at this Best Western in the past for work and I thought it was relatively good then. I booked two nights for my wife and I to stay here for the weekend. The room was ok for the price, and I slept really well on the bed. The problem was mostly in the bathroom. The shower curtain was not long enough to keep water from going all over the bathroom floor. Every time you flushed the toilet the water would continue to run until you jiggled the handle to stop it. The last night we were there I found a cockroach in the bathroom running around. I killed it and flushed it down the toilet. I know that they are common and doesn't mean that the place isn't clean, but my wife did not enjoy the fact that it was there. She was worried that some got into our luggage and we would take them home with us. Also, the breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. It was one of the reasons I chose BW over the Red Roof Inn since they do not have a breakfast buffet. I didn't expect much but it was passable at best. I would not stay here again if I was visiting Leesburg and would not recommend it to anyone else.

The room was dirty. There was hair in the tub and I don't think they put new bedding on. The pillows were old and lumpy. At breakfast my husband took a swallow of milk to find it was sour and out of date. Stay somewhere else.

Just want a place to sleep after a Wedding, didn't want to drive 2 hours home. The font desk person was friendly and pleasant. The room was clean. The next morning they had a nice free breakfast with made to orded omelets. It was right off the highway eazy access.

You get what you pay for
The 1st floor looks good (lobby) almost as if they just remodeled it and then ran out of money for the rest of the hotel. Elevator looks like it's seen better days back in the 80's. Room appears clean, stains on carpet, stains on blinds, bathroom wasn't real clean. The TV was broken and the coax cable looked like someone pulled it out. Called front desk they sent up maintenance. I hear a knock at the door open and see a lady staring at me. I saw can I help you she just stared and pointed inside then hold up a blank key card and then she finally says maintenance. Just plain clothes no uniform. Maintenance leaves and comes back this time with a dude in plain clothes just walks in and starts trying to fix the TV. The TV finally gets working but now the picture
quality is extremely poor cause again the coax cable is screwed up. He just jiggle jiggle it. Also the one light in the room was out. But during checkout breakfast was amazing.

OK for a night
The biggest issue with our stay was that hotels.com botched changing our check in date, despite me contacting them a month prior and also getting a confirmation e-mail with the change. We were delayed checking in because despite having a confirmation e-mail with the change, I guess hotels.com did the date change incorrectly. Not the best experience.
Otherwise the hotel was fine for a night. Our room's tv didn't work, there was no hair dryer, and there were random stains on the carpet and curtains. The breakfast that was included was nice. The staff were nice as well.

Liked nothing. Had to get are own toilet paper, electric door keys didn’t work properly and had to go to the front desk several times. Our room had bugs and was not clean, AC didn’t run properly m, pillows were awful. Will never ever go back there

Hotel is old, which is fine as long as it is clean. And it was clean. However the toilet did not work properly and was not repaired after we reported it. The tv was repaired after reporting. Also the treadmill was broken

Leesburg convenience
I have stayed here a few times when visiting Loudoun County Virginia and was happy to stay here again. The room was comfortable and in good condition except there was only 1 hanger in the closet. Location is very convenient to the highways around Leesburg.

Customer service was great. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness was good. Microwave knob was broken & t.v. remotes didn’t work properly… customer service re-programmed two …one didn’t work at all & the other one didn’t turn up the volume.
Lastly, when we arrived back at our room we found our door half way opened. I called the front desk to tell the hotel clerk about it they asked did I request a room service/maintenance or did I forget to closed the door? I replied to all of the questions, no & we made sure the door was closed & locked. Thank God nothing was tampered with nor missing.
