Nice Quiet Hotel north of Holyoke
Nice property in a quiet location. Attached restaurant has good food and good selection. Free breakfast was above average with quiche as an option.

We stayed here for a wedding with my two children and older parents. We enjoyed our stay . Very friendly staff. The restaurant menu looked great but nothing at all for two picky little kids.
We got a one bedroom suite. It was a decent size. Breakfast was good. A lot of option. Which most hotels don't have much hot food for breakfast. I'd say a 4 out of 5. The only complaint is the room looked older but it was clean.

Really loved the hotel! The staff went above and beyond even though there were some hiccups with our reservation. There was a mechanical issue in the room we had reserved but we were switched to a larger room. We were given both a coupon and gift card to the attached restaurant for the trouble. The only bummer was the fact that the pool and hot tub weren’t open when we got there. My daughter was disappointed, but we discovered a trampoline park at the mall about 15 minutes away - filled the gap!

The front desk staff member was friendly. The breakfast was great. Our shower switch was not functional and the water somehow was not hot that night, but it’s warm enough when using the sink the next morning.

Jim was the epitome of excellent customer service and was also so kind! Noah was also a huge help.
I would have liked a top sheet on the bed,
Lamps with USBports for charging various devices instead of crawling around finding outlets. Letting folks know that everything is unplugged would be helpful.

Wish I had just slept in my car to rest stop instead of staying at this hotel. On a road trip North to go skiing, need a place to stay. Check in, gentlemen of the desk is very pleasant very polite very professional. Gives me a room right next to the elevator, and you can hear it in the room, so I asked him for one not near the elevator as all I want outta this place a few hours of good sleep and get on the road early. He graciously puts me in a corner room right over the highway. I mean I-91 highway truck noise all night long, loud in the room. It's cold in the room when I get in there, find the heat thermostat, it's off. Turn it on, it's 60° in the room. Turn it up to 68 it seems like it's trying for a few minutes then shuts down and says ERR. Do this a couple times decide I'm not going to get any heat. Wake up in the morning after a rough night of sleep, freezing in room. Think a shower will warm me up. It sure did bc the only two settings in the shower were scalding hot and off. No ability to adjust it no in between. Actually had a decent breakfast on the way out the door, but there was no clerk at the desk to check out with. Waited a few minutes, called out, looked for a bell to ring nothing. Called on phone from the road to check out, after a few tries someone finally answered and I did express all this to the representative so this review is not the first time the hotel is hearing it. Would never stay here again. Motel 6 at Marriott prices.

It is a nice property and every staff member has a positive, welcoming and kind attitude and are all customer centric. Positive energy in the hotel and well decorated. The rooms and common area are clean, and the location is convenient for the area. I did not eat dinner there (not enough time) but had the complimentary breakfast which was good. Only item you should be aware of - the property is quite dated so general modern amenities are unavailable. In the room, there are limited power outlets and the shower, etc. are quite dated. Clean but certainly an older property. The hotel staff make the property - everyone is focused on the guests.

From the minute we got there, until we left, we continued to be impressed with this lovely property. The staff, the amenities, the grounds... everything is just amazing. It's tucked in such an off the beaten path area, but still so close to anything you could want or need. As an added bonus, there are about 200 places on DoorDash that will come here. More than OK for a free breakfast (hot eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, yogurt... even some gluten free options. They even had almond milk for my coffee ! 10 stars !

From a pair of underwear seemingly left in a stairwell, to the noise coming from the pool area which is directly accessed from the lobby, to the odd and uncomfortable room we stayed in- this hotel is NOT as it advertises. The room had no carpeting, the lighting was bleak and stark white, the bathroom was in dire need of an upgrade/update. And our room looked out over the highway, and the back of the adjoining restaurant building. I do not recommend this place.

The hotel was tired. The bed the most uncomfortable hotel bed I ever slept in it had a five inch sag in the middle of the bed. The sheets could have used as sand paper. The pillows were lumpy. The faux linoleum wood floor was cheesy and squeeked. The walls were bare of any decorative items. The room was loud and encoded. I have stayed in hospital rooms with more style and soul.

I generally like the hotel, having stayed twice before. But when my plans changed last minute (more that 24 hours ahead) I tried to move this reservation to June they wouldn’t let me. Expedia (real live people from Expedia) tried to intervene on my behalf and they still wouldn’t accommodate me. Now, I’m getting requests every other day to leave a review, so…yeah…this booking is a one star review. Hope that’s helpful; the staff was not.

We had room 120 and unfortunately very noisy neighbors who seemed to think it was ok to end their party in the hallway at 1:30am. We stayed only 1 night but room was very clean and comfortable. Another minor issue is the breakfast area way too small.

One elevator shared by guests and housekeeping is my only complaint. Oh, and the coffee--while plenty was available and at all times, perhaps a different variety is under consideration? The quiet rooms and hallways were much appreciated.

Pretty much everything is great. The rugs along the baseboard weren’t cleaned properly during our 3-day period of living in the hotel. The stuff is nice, breakfasts are delicious.

The room was spacious with a nice couch and well put together bed. The linens and comforter were top notch and the room was quiet despite having a wedding party nearby. Breakfast was lovely with local touches including hot apple cider and local pastries. They have a nice lounge with a fireplace and a decent hot tub. I did not have the chance to use the spa. Only odd thing is that they use some really strong perfumes/ air freshener in the lobby and breakfast area that was overwhelming. This location is about 15 minutes from Mt. Holyoke and 10 minutes from North Hampton.

Have stayed here 8 years for Thanksgiving break, this year was by far different. Included breakfast was lacking, not that much is expected, but kid friendly items could be better and mor variation overall. Coffee was literally brown water. Zero taste of coffee. Never had this in previous years. Rooms and common areas are becoming run down and outdated. Has a musty smell throughout. Change happens, but kids always loved to watch poinsettia tree go up while playing chess, do puzzles, etc., but all that is gone. Hopefully they start to really spruce up the place over the next year or it maybe time to start tradition at another local hotel.

The property is a little dated, but quaint. It reminds me of a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and it’s included with your overnight stay. The property could use touch up paint and a few upgrades. I would stay here again.

Disappointed. Bar closed at 8. No good beer choices to buy at the front desk. Curtains were too small for the window letting light in. We also killed a bug in the bathroom.

Our stay at D Suites & Spa was everything we wanted it to be. The location was great, the hotel is very nice and cozy. The staff really set the tone from the minute we checked in until our last day. Some of the best customer service I have experienced, and we travel a lot. Jim checked us in and he was so polite and helpful. All other staff were just as professional and I wish I could name them all. I am a Customer Service manager and know when someone is going above and beyond the normal call of duty. I was impressed. Our room was so nice and spacious. We had a separate living room suite which made our week long stay feel more like home. The amenities are great. Complimentary breakfast, nice pool & jacuzzi. Optional Spa packages. We had a nice dinner at the attached restaurant The Delaney house. It was the perfect way to end our last day at the hotel. We have already decided this will be our go-to for visiting this area again. I recommend this to anyone who wants reasonable rates and nice rooms, with great service!

Honestly, the biggest negative was the restaurant was closed and they offered us vouchers for dinner. The hotel was not busy at all, and when we went to get the dinners they stated they didn’t have any left. This was very disappointing. As someone I customer service my entire life, I would’ve definitely gone above and beyond for someone staying with me. (Especially after handing vouchers out for dinner and not having enough) I’m still rating this high, because the staff and the hotel itself was wonderful.

The location is not convenient to shopping or dining, but that's exactly why I liked it. There is food on the premises and in the past I've simply gotten takeout if the restaurant is closed. I don't think it's within walking distance to much and I'm not sure any public transportation goes there apart from Uber and Lyft, but that's why I like it. I have stayed at this hotel three times now and it has been consistently excellent each time.
