No locals but still enjoyed stay!
It was an amazing stay, wanted a little stay cation for the weekend and the front desk made a point to say that the hotel does not let local people stay. Which confused me on situations where family my come into town. But other than that interaction it was an amazing stay!

I THINK THE STAFF WAS FINE; HOWEVER, WHEN I WALKED IN MY ROOM THE SMELL OF CAT URINE KNOCKED ME DOWN. HOPING IT WAS IN MY HEAD I IGNORED IT AND WENT ON WITH MY EVENING. THE FOLLOWING DAY IT HAD SUBSIDED BUT WHEN I RETURNED TO MY ROOM THE FOLLOWING NIGHT THE CAT URINE ODOR KNOCKED ME DOWN AGAIN. IT WAS COMING FROM THE BATHROOM AREA. I AM IN THE AREA EVERY OTHER WEEK, AND WILL JUST CHOOSE NOT TO STAY THERE AGAIN.

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas visit! We had two rooms and we spent Christmas together. We really enjoyed the fruit water upfront and we really enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. The room was big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. Very very pleased. Will definitely stay here again.

Love the Bistro
The Bistro is the perfect option at the end of the day. Friendly service and satisfying food and wine. Other hotel staff are also friendly and helpful.

All hotels/motels are emphasizing for guests staying multiple nights to reuse the towels and linens. I'm all for that, but these businesses need to supply the rooms with more hooks and fixtures to hang up those towels and washcloths, to allow them to dry for the additional day use. One towel rack that holds 3 tightly folded towels and one hook behind a bathroom door is not nearly enough.

Lovely Spot That Surprised Me
Great staff at checkin. The bartender was hustling and the food was surprisingly excellent (chicken sando hut have had many bad ones). Not only had a Sauv blanc, it was from NZ. If you know you know but unexpected at this smaller airport hotel. Impressed.

I hate hard floors in my room. I prefer carpet. I paid 147 for a king bed. But the room was small and felt very crowed. For 147 I want a free cup of coffee when I wake up but there is a StarBuck's in the lobby. I don't drink their drinks and thier "coffee" is my cup of coffee. Pike's Peak and Veronda is just like just hotel coffee and for 147 I want a free cup..

24 hour shuttle service to/from the Roanoke airport was key to my decision to stay at this property. Surrounding area is not the best but the hotel was equivalent to every Courtyard Marriott I have been to.

Check in was quick and staff polite. The room was clean but seemed a little cramped. The couch was not made for the average human to sit on. Even with every pillow available it felt like you were almost laying down to get any back or head support. Guess it was made to look at not sit on. Also, this are has a number of restaurants around it but few looked like you would want to actually eat at them.

Disappointed in the condition of our room. Had a extreme musty smell. The bed were hard and the linens in poor condition. The amount we paid we expected better cleanliness and quality.

Great Hotel for Value and Comfort
We chose this hotel as our halfway point to Nashville, and its easy access to the highway. The room was very clean, bathroom spotless. The king-size bed was very comfortable for a good night's sleep and we loved the oversized chair with ottoman - great for lounging. The shower had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was great for our one-night stay. All the usual amenities in the room. It was a short drive to downtown Roanoke for an evening out - in hindsight would have preferred to be closer but we did chose this hotel based on the proximity to the highway. Highly recommend!

I loved my stay! It was quiet and clean. Staff were friendly. Loved the pool and hot tub area. Although the staff at the Bistro were friendly, the food was ok. It was overpriced for what you got. Drinks were delicious.

Favorite part of the hotel was the pool/hot tub. Perfect to help you relax after 12 hours on the road. Only issues I had: the bed was a little to hard for me, and the hair dryer was awful (probably 20 years old - low power and blew extremely hot air as its only setting).
Staff were fantastic, as was the Bistro in the lobby. Loved having a fridge and a microwave in the room!

I've stayed at the hotel previously and really liked it.
Not so this time.
We had hundreds of little ants in the room. The carpet had not been vacuumed ... used q-tips and dental floss in 2 areas.
There was a distinct sewage smell one night.

The room was very nice and clean. The pool, lobby, and outdoor areas were all well kept. Our only problem was at check in the staff member barely spoke two words. He didn't tell about the amenities, check out time, etc. He seemed bothered that he had to put his phone down to wait on me.

Good place to stay for a night. We travelled from Nasuti NYC. THE hotel was a midpoint. Everything was ok. For the price we had a nice room and a good bed solid quiet nights sleep. Friendly staff. Our bathroom smelled musty like old. And the room also had a slightly musty smell. But seemed clean.

We had reservations to check in at 3:00 pm and didn’t arrive until 12:30 AM after driving 6 hours to get to the hotel for a night of sleep. The room was not even ready! We had to wait over 20 minutes for the front desk staff to clean the room. Expedia was very accommodating and gave us a $100 voucher which was very nice. The only complaint I have is the 17 minute hold time with Expedia to resolve the situation. Other than that, it was the hotel that dropped the ball.

Staying at the Courtyard was a blast on Comic Con weekend! The staff, the Bistro/Bar, the hot tub, the after party, the convenient location (5 minutes from the Berglund Center), the comfortable room, and the affordable price all conspired to produce a memorable weekend!

Clean and Comfy hotel
Checking in was not as smooth as it should have been. The staff initially said that our king bed was no longer available. After I told her that I just booked it less than a hour ago and the site stated they had 2 king rooms …. She then found one but stated it’s the only one left and it’s beside the elevator.
But the hotel itself was wonderful with the mist comfy bed and the bar was still open upon arrival at 9pm. It was close to the interstate but had a smaller parking lot. ( we were pulling a 32 ft trailor)

A small thing that stuck out. There was no complimentary coffee. I can understand not providing breakfast, and I wasn't expecting that. But not providing coffee just shrieks cheap. Oh they sell coffee,and breakfast stuff at a price, but they don't go out pf their way at all.

Surprisingly Pleasant Stay
For a small town, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the Courtyard Marriott in Roanoke did not disappoint. The lobby is clean and orderly and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and bedding and towels were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
