During my 2-day stay, I only talked to one person--Khan at the front desk was helpful. However, this facility is in desperate need of a remodel. While my room was fairly clean, the desk chair was very shabby (I requested and received a better one) and all the furniture was old. On Friday night, right outside my window, there were small, souped up cars roaring up and down a side road. Very noisy.

It would be great after a long trip to be greeted by friendly staff rather than rough around the edges front desk staff. Did not feel the welcome nor the value as a customer. I was happy to leave early the next morning

Lady at check in wasn’t pleasant. My room key didn’t work so I had to go back down to get a new one. She was even less pleasant to deal with then. Customer service is terrible.

Everything was great. We had no issues during our stay. We asked for additional towels and washcloths to which the staff immediately provided. Overall the beds slept great, the room was clean and our checkout was seamless.

I was disappointed due to no pool (under repair). Power outage so no air, tv lights, radio and had to walk down from 6th floor to chech out due to no elevator service. Outage started 2am and still like that at checkout.

Horrible Experience
What stay my flight was canceled and the Hotel did not allow me to rebook or reschedule the room even though I call as soon as my flight was canceled and BEFORE the scheduled check-in time. I also purchased the insurance on the room and called Hotels.com this was a horrible experience and I lost money for two hotel rooms

It was ok overall
I booked 4 rooms for a family relaxation / spa weekend. While checking in, we weren’t given any information about check out time or amenities. Until I asked the front desk, I was never informed that the pool would be closed for renovations. Usually this information is posted on the site or in your confirmation email. My room was missing a lock. They did change my room for security and I appreciate that. The one night we stayed, we smelled a strong natural gas odor in the lobby. I asked if it could be the restaurant or fireplace but I was met with an interrogation and disbelief. I was told no one could inspect or confirm that it was safe at that time. Instead they questioned me about my full name and room number, yet no one addressed it the next day either. Overall, the rooms were good and seemingly clean. The staff was nice, even if they weren’t informative. However, I would choose another hotel room next time.

The bad experience started with the wait for the shuttle at the airport. After we picked up our bags we called the hotel we were told it would be a 15-30 minute wait for the shuttle. The wait ended up being an hour, we saw the Marriott, crowne plaza and Hampton inn make three trips while we waited. The hotel room was larger but dated. We found a roach in the bathroom and the bathroom was missing soap and bags for laundry. Happy it was just a one night stay.

The budget option but go for Hampton Inn instead.
The room had a distinct old/moldy smell and the air vent could use a thorough cleaning. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off from the bottom and the bathroom and the room need updating. It was a budget option but I have had a much better experience at Hampton Inn for less.

At $130 a night, this was the cheapest hotel with airport shuttle service. And it was completely functional: everything worked well enough. But it certainly wasn't anything special: the wallpaper was ripped, the furniture and the walls dirty, the elevator walls scratched up, the wifi is harder to log onto than it needs to be. It's worn down, which was surprising at $130 a night.

Affordable even with the breakfast option, which i would recommend. Hot, hot water for the vanity and shower. Every fast-food place that has an app is next door. Chick-Fil-A across the parking lot and the Dulles Expo Center and a Walmart behind. Super convenient, would stay again.

The appearance and lighting makes the property look a bit dingy. Definitely needs a facelift
Rooms don’t have microwaves
With a big property like this having to come down from your room to the lobby with a plate of food then waiting on other person or two to finish warming their’s is silly.
They seem understaffed thus employees at the front desk have to deal with people standing there and what seems to be constant phone calls

Great Dulles Expo Hotel
Very convenient everything, including airport, Expo center, bars and restaurants. Bob Os was a lot of fun, their attached bar and restaurant. Service was awesome throughout, free shuttle to airport, free full breakfast, very happy overall

Clean but dated. Hallway smelled a little musty but room was ok. Breakfast at Big O’s was pricey with little options. Daughter used shuttle from Dulles. Was told to call when she had her luggage then had to wait in the rain for over 10 min at 11 pm.

Needs an update
The hotel is in need of a serious update. The furniture appears to be from the 1970’s. The elevators are old and scuffed up. The carpets are dingy.

We always stay at the Dulles Expo Center Holiday Inn when we are in NOVA. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. They never disappoint!

Very Disappointing.
The Mini Fridge in my room didn't work. I never saw one person that worked there except for when I checked in to let them know. The shower had black mold growing in all of the corners. The room smelled like cigarette smoke.
When I was gone during the day house keeping would come in and take my used towels and washcloths but never replaced any of them. by my last day I had to use a giant towel as a wash cloth since I couldn't get a hold of the front desk to get more via the phone in my room and no one was at the front desk when I went to try to find someone.
They also took the trash and everything from the coffee that I used but didn't replace the sugar and stir stick.

The staff there are extremely kind and helpful. When my taxi didn't arrive on time, they drove me to my destination... I feel like a family when I was there without a car... Very quite and clean and easy to find meals! Great place to stay.

The temperature of the room never went under 75 degrees, the room was moist and didnt smell good as a result and sleeping felt impossible. Two seperate matinence men came up and niether changed our situation. The location is nice but hotel was pricey for what we got. We also never got breakfast tickets which we heard other patrons got.

The stay was great even though one of the connecting rooms entrance door didn't work and my guests had to enter their room through the connecting room I was in. I didn't really care for the breakfast in the connecting restaurant/bar. There weren't many options for guests that book a room with breakfast.

OK Stay - place needs updating
The overall experience was OK. The mattress was very old and there was one place that it was very uncomfortable. The shower was stained and musty. And considering the heat for that weekend, the fact that the pool was closed for several weeks was very disappointing.

Excellent check-in, friendly service. Rooms were clean but are a bit dated and had lots of pealing paint/overall warn look. The pool was out of order which is nobody's fault and I get things happen. Was just a disappointment after promising two kids a swim in the pool if they could get through the long day in the car. If you are going sometime soon be sure to check the status of the pool.

Terrible experience
I have been in many hotels but this hotel is the worst I ever have been. It is dirty everywhere, really disgusting. I cannot understand that a company like yours is offering this kind of hotels and even under the brand Holiday Inn!!
