It is a great location and a better price than the ones down the street. it is spacious for two people but would sleep 4 because of a futon sofa/couch. It is within walking distance of places to eat. We had a relaxing stay!

A little oasis in Sebastian
We had a wonderful time at Davis House Inn over the Thanksgiving holiday. It has a great location, near the Indian River and close to lots of good restaurants. There's a nice deck with lounge chairs that makes a good place for reading outside. Kyle was as friendly as everyone says and had great advice on local restaurants. I wish we had had more time to talk with him--he is an interesting person I would like to get to know.
The suites are cleverly arranged, with a sitting area (sofa, recliner, coffee table, and petite kitchen table) separated from the bedroom by a 4- or 5-foot wall. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator to keep our Dr Pepper chilled. There are more mirrors than you could possibly imagine! It is secluded enough that it is quiet, and I liked the fact that our TV was in an outer corner of our suite, so we didn't have to worry about having it too loud for other guests, since it was on the outside corner of the building. There was a smaller TV in the bedroom as well. A comfy place to relax, and I hope we come back again!

The property was a little dated, but generally in good shape. Some of the furniture showed some signs of wear, but all were clean. The owners were working on repairs. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Clean as a whistle and reminded me of an era gone by in Florida hotels...nicely furnished and decorated with nice little touches in the room. The owner, Kyle, couldn't have been nicer or more patient when we lost our keys at 10:00 PM at night! Delightful stay!!! Will definitely stay again.

Room was very clean and spacious, only issue we had with the property was the water pressure was low and they could use some larger bath towels. There are a couple of walk-able restaurants/bars and the owners are welcoming.

The Davis House Inn Review
The Davis House Inn is the most adorable stay I’ve had. I travel a lot due to work. I’ve stayed in expensive places, inexpensive places, and everything in between. The character, location, and view of the Davis House Inn all but guarantees I will stay here anytime I visit family. Beautiful well kept location.

Location Location Location Everything was within 2 miles. Breakfast, dinners and attractions to include Mel Fisher Museaum and Captain Hiram's River Cruise. Very clean with the exception of the floor. It appeared it was mopped in the dark since there were swaths of missed area still dirty. I would definitely stay again.

Great location and short walk to most things in the area. There is still cleanup work from last year’s hurricanes in most areas and new construction is constant in coastal towns anyway, so be aware. New Squid Lips sports bar is going in right across the street, so this will be amazing in a few months. We will return.

The unit was well appointed, a full size fridge and microwave in the kitchen however there is no stove. The inn is well situated with river view. Each room has outdoor chairs and small table to enjoy the breeze. Our room was on the second floor so a little bit of a stuggle with pet and belongings.

Upon check in I was advised they did not accept a cat as a pet. After reassuring the desk clerk that he would not harm their room he let me check in. No where on Expedia does it say No Cats. My cat did not do any damage. It was a nice location. Only negative was the construction on Mon morning Early right in front of the property. If allowed with my cat I. Would stay here again.

The Davis House Inn is a cute, quiet, old Florida stay. We had everything we needed for our quick trip to Sebastian. The location was great and within walking distance to the little downtown area. Not to mention the view was pretty amazing too!
The inn itself was on the older side but we had all we needed. Running water (hot and cold), a flushing toilet, a small kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave, dish soap, paper towels, and all of the little things needed in a kitchen (super important when traveling with a 2-year old!). The ice trays were even filled up with lots of cold ice :-)
The owner was super nice and friendly! We arrived after check-in (note the instructions for arriving after check-in time) and had no problem getting into our room. The inn has that welcoming Motel 6 slogan vibe…”We’ll leave the light on for you.”
Overall it was an enjoyable stay and checked all the boxes we needed for our visit! :-)

Awesome weekend
The room had a view of the lagoon and sunrise. Was very comfortable. Very, very clean. Owner is a great guy. Invited everyone to 4th July burgers and hotdogs. Location is awesome. Got to enjoy the 4th July Parade.

The reception is never aware of people going in or out. The AC is old and make a bunch of noise, also de rooms smell funny and for the price i think in general is not worth it. The only possitive thing is that you can basically walk to great food places within 2 miles or so.

Friendly staff, quiet location, clean rooms and comfortable beds with an “Old Florida guest house” charm. Being a nothing fancy type of person this place exceeded my expectations for the price. Wonderful owner operated.
Nicely maintained property with view of Indian River from the property. Kitchen had full refrig, micro wave but no cook top. Had wine glasses and coffee maker. Bathroom laid out nicely with cubbies and hangers. Nicely appointed room, decorated nicely. Comfy beds and recliner. Family owned and operated. Pride in ownership. Had a slight issue checking in, beyond their control, but owner was more than apologetic to make up for it. Great place to stay, Our only wish was they had an elevator because we were on the second floor and had a lot of stuff to lug; other than that, Great place to stay. Will book again!!!

The Sebastian Davis Inn was quite quaint. It was easy to get to and in a central area to easily get to everything you would need to, ie resteraunts and stores. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean. The decor is alittle outdated but still quite cute. I definitely would stay here again and would recommend it to someone that’s traveling in the area.

Davis House is our favorite place to stay. Clean, comfortable, easy. Close to and really mostly in the middle of everything and also kinda like a hidden gem. Beds are very comfortable, everything you need is there. So comfortable it’s always hard to leave. It truly is a great home away from home

The pictures of the rooms and property do not do this INN justice! We stayed in room 3 absolutely beautiful. I have cancer and was so afraid to go and stay somewhere, but the room was spotless!! The whole property was just the same. Manicured landscaping and all. The owner Kyle was so friendly and always accommodating to every question and request we had. We even stayed and extra day. Food, drinks, music and more within walking distance! The views from The Davis Inn are gorgeous. This is now our new go to place, for a quick weekend getaway!!

Very Misleading
I couldn't give a RAVE review, but overall, our stay was probably more positive than this review would state. BUT, I felt the TRUTH needed to be told so that the CHOICE is yours based on knowledge. First, we arrived early and received prompt service. For the price I doubt if we could have done better. Convenient, mostly clean and well taken care of. We chose this location because it had RIVER VIEWS (not), PET FRIENDLY (limited), GOLD MEMBERSHIP PERKS (not), PAY AT HOTEL WITH CC (extra charge), FRIENDLY OWNER (marginal). The pictures shown on the Hotels.com website are very misleading. Only ONE picture shows an actual room view, yet the site says "river views". Those views were ONLY from the office "lounge/patio" area. We contemplated bringing a pet dog with us as the site states "pet friendly". Only two rooms allow pets, so if we had showed up with ours, we would have been out of luck. We did not get our "gold perks" of room upgrade (we got the only room that DOES NOT show pictures on the website) and we did not get a free bottle of wine. There was "surprise surcharge" to use a credit card. The owner wanted to blame Hotels.com for not posting accurate information, but I doubt seriously that hotels.com "makes up" the information that is posted. The owner must make those submittals (including pictures) for hotels.com to use. By the way. A firework display THAT NIGHT, that the owner knew nothing about! I am running our of "characters" to type more.

The perfect weekend escape
The Davis House is a quant homey place to stay if your looking for non commercial laid back vibe. Kyle and Paula are more than accommodating to help you make the most of your stay. They directed us to the best happy hours and places to visit. This was our first trip since the pandemic and we felt very safe staying here. We enjoyed sitting out in the evening playing the guitar and socializing with some of the other guest. The location was perfect to walk to all the local spots. The room was spacious and our bed was comfortable. Everything was perfect. A place we will definitely revisit.

Quiet little retreat
Lovely quiet little place for a relaxing anniversary weekend. We didn't get a room with a balcony however our room was clean and comfortable with a little seating area outside. Some nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. We enjoyed our weekend very much.

Perfect Inn to stay while visiting the area!!
Lovely Inn just across the street from beautiful dock and Indian River. Comfortable efficiency unit provided all our needs and very clean. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.
Located in Sebastian just above vero beach area. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. A wonderful old style florida area where you can relax and enjoy the scenery or walk or ride free bikes available at the Inn. Kayaks are also available for use for free at the Inn. Mel Fischer museum just down the street is well worth a stop to learn what treasure was found just off the Atlantic coast.
We enjoyed our stay at this quiet Inn and would highly recommend for a wonderful stay. The Archie Carr National Park is close by to explore all its beautiful beaches and museums. The busy area of vero beach is located a short drive away.
We will return here the next time we visit the Atlantic Coast.

I just watched the sunrise over the Indian River from the veranda outside my room, where I slept in a comfortable king size bed. This was our second stay here at the inn and we are already talking about coming back next year. Everyone here is friendly and laid back.

What a wonderful stay! The accomodations were so comfortable, the owner, Kyle, is a great guy and keeps everything in wonderful shape. Our unit (#12) had a great view and such a comfortable place to stay. Walkable distance to some really good restaurants and beach bars-just ask Kyle for recommendations! We loved the area- not touristy at all but fun to be had! Short drive to the Atlantic coast. We plan to be back. Kayaks and bikes included too. Even got a red rose and a bottle of wine for Valentine's day! Our new favorite area of Florida!
