Great views of the ocean, convenient location that is walkable. Parking deck is a nightmare though! Honestly loved the room but the parking deck is a death trap, I can’t imagine it in busy season. The staff were A so nice! Clean room with updated furniture. However if you’re a plus size person and book a king room ask for an accessible bathroom. The toilet is in a tiny closet that won’t allow for a lot of room.

Loved my suite. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Great view. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in ever. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked.
Only thing I didn’t love was that you have to pay for an additional parking pass. I feel like with a room that accommodates 6 people.. 2 passes should be included/expected.

Filthy tub to the 2nd power.
The tub we filthy upon check in. After resting it be cleaned upon returning to the room it was we even dirtier. Front desk staff offered to reimburse me $17. Unacceptable.

If you have nowhere else to go, this hotel is okay, but this shouldn't be called a resort. First at hand, there is no free breakfast. Actually no breakfasts at all.

Very clean, comfortable room, and great amenities in the location with a spectacular view. I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the pools, saunas, and gym but now know a great location for the summer.

The worst place I stayed in. My wife and I went for a long weekend R&R but it was bad. The hotel parking is the WOREST I have ever seen. it is TOO TIGHT. You need a compact car or smaller, at the most to navigate it. I wind up scratching my car. When I checked in; no one mentioned the parking is too tight. I wind up scratching the side of my car. Now it needs a paint job. I reported the incident to the hotel. They did not get back to me until I called again. The admit the parking is TOO TIGHT AND VERY BAD. However, they did not take any responsibility despite the pictures I submitted to management. I WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN NOR ADVICE ANYONE TO STAY THERE.

Parking was narrow in the garage. Bedroom 507 was good with king bed but a little small. Bed sheets and pillows were brand new. Kitchenette was adequate although we didnt use it since we were just there for overnight. They must have used dirty mop with bleach and the odor stayed in the room! We were so tired so. We stayed. Bathroom was tiny and bathtub ha poor drainage. Breakfast place across the street was okay and inexpensive.

Short trip to the ocean 🌊
Great two day stay at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. We came to town to visit The Chyslar Museum in Norfolk and do some outlet shopping. The Beach Quarter Resort was a great price and within walking distance of food and shops. They also offered discounts at local restaurants and activities. The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the ocean. Overall, it was a great stay.

The location was great being located at the beach with a beachfront room, Toilet was so low it was difficult to get up and had to sit and swing into the shower since there was a large tile barrier making it dangerous to get in and out of. The family next door was extremely loud late into the night. This is a location we will mark off of the list.

This has been our second vacation staying here, and we will definitely continue to stay here. The staff is wonderful and friendly! The rooms are clean. Our only complaint is the noise of some of the other guests that stay and are disrespectful when families are vacationing too.

We did not like the unit or the garage. The turns inside of the garage were so tight that it was like work trying to go down the ramps. There are marks on all of the corners of the ramps where vehicles have been scraping the wall. Our unit had a bathroom that was so small that I coupd touch all 4 walls standing in one spot. Also the toilet was so low to the floor that any tall persons knees wouod be in their chest if they sat on it. Last bit not leadt there was a heavy draft coming from under the balcony door in the sitting area. Never again !!!

This hotel is also a “timeshare resort “there was no restaurant or bar on the facilities. Reason I picked it it had a steam sauna and small pool downstairs.
But it was way at the end of the strip fifth Street, all the food restaurants action is around 20th to 25th St.

We love staying at the Beach Quarters every time we visit Virginia Beach! The staff is the best, always welcoming, friendly and willing to assist guests with their needs and questions. The swimming and fitness facilities are great. I love that they have daily activities for guests too. Can’t beat the location and price.

Hotel Great/Nightmare Neighboring Guests
First 2 nights went great. On Friday, the other two rooms were checked in and both rooms smoked cigarettes and marijuana. The smell quickly flowed through my door because of the small gap between the frame and the door. The balcony was no better since they also smoked out there. I have asthma and it flared up almost immediately. The guests for this room were also extremely loud outside of their room all hours of the night. If the front desk didn’t close at 11:00 pm, I could’ve have asked for someone to come up to address them.

I love the Oceanview room. The toilet room was so small a big person would have to use the toilet with the door open. It was long strains of hair in different areas of the room and I have short hair. You need a step stool to get in and out of the tub. The young lady who checked me in was very friendly.

The staff was wonderful. The room and view itself was great. Only issues we had (which I’m not sure you can blame on the hotel for the first one) is every morning at 745 someone slammed the door at least 20 times. Doors were difficult to close but it was a lot. Also, I think the hotel should warn better about the parking garage. If you have a bigger vehicle, you won’t fit and you can’t see the overflow parking lot from the hotel.

A little more clean, GREAT set up
I really loved how the rooms were. You had a door to shut off the beds from the rest of the condo. It could have been a little more clean. I understand that it is a little bit older but it’s still could’ve been a little bit more clean to my liking.

This is my second time staying here & both times it was great. It's not a fancy five star, but it's simple & has everything you need. Perfect for my solo trips to relax & enjoy VAB. Staff is quick to respond, no one bothers you, & the views are amazing! I will be returning soon! Only down side was the rooftop bar was not open & was told by the man at the desk that it will never open again. This was one of the reasons why i loved it here... the rooftop bar & pool were awesome! Reopen the bar!

Nice enough stay for the price. Great ocean front view, but the room was a bit musty and moist feeling, and definitely had some age showing as the smoke detector was just hanging out of thr wall. But great location, close the beach, boardwalk, and some great restaurants. Also not sure what the deal was with the $35 fee, not sure what that paid for, since there was no housekeeping. But would stay again if the price stayed the same.

The overall hotel needs some money invested into it. As soon as you step out of the garage there is a well worn carpet greeting you. Doors and walls need a fresh coat of paint. Inside the room, it is fine, just the overall condition of the property. The garage was very handy and we asked for a day pass so we could keep the car in the garage while we spent the day at the boardwalk. That was very kind.

Not worth the ‘resort’ title or fees that come with it. You could find a hotel on the beach and pay less for what it is. Hotel has been renovated but cheaply. There is no restaurant at the outdoor pool even though it’s advertised. The amenities are basic. The only good thing is beach access-which many hotels have. Save money on parking fees ($17 daily and resort fees $15 daily) and get a different hotel.

Great location. Too many bugs. Room cards were hard to get to work. Room was cookie cutter. No privacy at all for getting dressed after shower. Bathroom probably 4x5, not for large people. Large step in tub, hard to get in and out of. Staff was friendly and helpful. Refrigerator needs defrosted. Our hall way was dirty. Safe was broken, balcony door had to be fixed and hair dryer blew fuse.

Check in experience was very slow. Seemed to be short staffed. Was told we would have breakfast coupons but nobody seemed to know where they were or how to get them when we asked.
Fire alarm was pulled at 3:30 AM and we had to stand outside for almost an hour. Check out was bad too, almost a dozen people in line with one person.

Decent place to stay, great price
Very affordable hotel with nice facilities and decent rooms. As a family of five I was hoping to find a hotel bigger as we had in Myrtle Beach but this hotel was the next best thing and for the price is great and location was good. The only negative thing was the parking garage is very tight if you have a large vehicle but they do have a overflowing parking across the road so not to much of an issue. The hotel was clean and didn’t see any bugs which is a big plus!! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back

Property is beachfront right along the boardwalk so it’s conveniently located to restaurants and shops. Overall the accommodations were very nice for the price. The place was a nice location. It was clean except for a major issue. Apparently, they didnt clean our quilt. It looked like it had vomit on it. Unfortunately, we didn't even notice it until we were leaving. It was on the underside of the quilt.

My party booked this location for a weekend Bachelorette stay. We had some issues with our room the first night however the staff was extremely accommodating and understanding. They were able to move our room but when our issue continued we were moved to their sister hotel across the street at a discounted rate. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Great end of summer weekend!
Chose this hotel for the price and the location. The southern end of the boardwalk is quiet and has great restaurants. Price was great EXCEPT there are hidden fees when you arrive. There is a resort fee of $15.00/day plus tax that you must pay on arrival AND a $200.00 fee for incidentals that will be refunded if there is no damage to the room. I took pictures when we arrived of any damages that were apparent for this reason. The most concerning issue I found was the railing on our 10th floor balcony was secured on one side by two loose screws! There are definitely repairs/updates that need to occur here, but then the room price will surely reflect that! We requested a room on a higher floor when we placed our reservation and to my surprise they accommodated us! The king size bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The ocean view was beautiful except there was beach reclamation occurring right in front of the hotel so we had to look at a large pipe throwing sand and a bulldozer sitting there as well. The rooms have very thin walls. We were kept awake one night because the guests next door were very loud. We could hear EVERYTHING including slamming of cabinets, conversations, and other sounds that should remain private. They also try to sell you on a 90 minute timeshare presentation. The parking garage is free but do not try to park here unless you have a small car. Overall, we had no problem overlooking the negative as we love staying in Virginia Beach.

The parking garage is a disaster. I have a compact car and taking 90 degree turns up and down the garage is scary. The staff was friendly but I don’t really like trying to be sold promotions. The room itself was nice and it was a beautiful view! The AC in the room only goes down to 66, but it felt 70. Also getting into the hotel at night through the parking garage is strange, wish you were able to go through the lobby instead.

The front staff was beyond amazing. I watched them help a couple when we checked in and when we were leaving they walked outside to show me where i needed to go. Loved the stay and the view.

Overall this hotel was nice, I enjoyed having beach access right from my room on the ground floor. There also were not any luggage carts available and we had to park a block away and walk with our stuff. Just be aware that the parking garage is quite low and will not fit anything lifted, not even a stock truck or SUV. I was a little upset that I was not informed before I booked this hotel or anything listed in the description.
Also make sure you know about events happening in the area, I was only staying at this hotel for the night and was not aware of a 5k that was being held around the front and back of the hotel so it made it hard to check out early. The hotel did not give any information about the roadblocks or anything about the 5k being in the way until it was over and I was already checked out.

Staff was very helpful and extremely understanding.
The overall state of the hotel and it's provided services has gone downhill. We have been several times and now cleaning is not provided unless you pay and we were responsible for removing and getting clean towels. Also, we were responsible for removing our garbage. Seems like a big bill for us to be taking care of all of these things that were previously included in our very expensive daily rate.
Staff was great. It's not their fault services have been downgraded.
