Nice hotel but charging for parking
Stay was good. Few things we did not like is the view was to the construction site. Room had a smell of cleaning chemicals, it was unpleasant.
Hotel charged $15 per night for parking.

Really like the King Studio Suite room! Unfortunately, the microwave didn’t work. That was a little inconvenient. Otherwise, I was very happy with the Hyatt House.

Breakfast was horrible, silverware dirty Way over priced for you get i paid $400 a night and it a $150 a night hotel at best property is starting to show a lot of wear and tear. wont be coming back any time soon.

This is my first time staying at this property. Check in was easy, the room was clean and I had a great view. I can’t say enough good things about the Hyatt House-Tallahassee. I will definitely use this as my go to hotel when I visit the area again.

I have stayed here a few times, as it met my needs. During this stay I found the property and surrounding area to be extremely crowded and noisy. The major roadwork adjacent to property contributes to this and added to traffic congestion as well.

Very nice hotel near Florida State. The one bedroom suite was great with plenty of room. Breakfast was good, but not quite as good as some other Hyatt’s we’ve stayed at. The area will be better once the road construction is done.

Overall you cant beat the location. Finally a hotel walking distance to FAMU. Parking and breakfast included in your rate. The bar makes surprisingly good cocktails.

Horrible Customer Service
Had 2 consecutive stays due to our travel plans changing and no one being able to add to our current reservation. Upon checking in I mentioned this to the person at the desk so if possible we did not have to move rooms. This makes extra work for us and for the cleaning staff. The man upon checking us in said no problem I will combine the reservations. The next day went to get new keys as was told to and they said the reservation was cancelled and ours was not extended. They did not have a room with multiple beds and told us we needed to be out. So nearly 7 hours of driving the day before I was beat after a college tour and had to scramble for another hotel and then drive 4 hours to the location we were going the next day. College tour was exhausting enough but with the lack of ability to sleep it was longer. When an employee cancelled the reservation they did nothing but put it on us. I stay at Hyatt in another college town and have for 4 years now with no issues seems this location is not up to par.

Check in/check out was very smooth and efficient. Few breakfast option but if you’re not a heavy breakfast eater, the options provided are probably enough for you! Very inviting, clean, and modern. My fiancé and I felt very safe staying here. 10/10, will be returning!

Poor understanding of ststem.
Needed to extend stay, was told to book on new booking. I check in telling them. Was told they were combining reservations but may need new keys tomorrow. Rather than go to room i went to get new keys was told they didnt combine reservations and they dont have a room. The employee that was combining them canceled 2nd reservation. They had no room then.

The hotel itself is nice, and the front desk staff were friendly, but the area is unbelievably noisy. Could not go to sleep until 2 AM due to all the motorcycle noise on the street. Also, we were told they serve breakfast until 10 but the staff took it up at nine am and would not bring it back out.

We had a cleaning issue that wasn't handled at check in when we first notified them at the front desk. 6 hours later we contacted them again and they did make it right. The manager did reach out and apologize as well and handled the situation well.
Rooms are not insulated from hallway noise/chatter whatsoever. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Nice stay besides waiting for check in.
Other than checking in our stay was nice. Check in was 3 and our room was not available until 9:00. After a long day of driving, sitting in the lobby was not ideal. I was told that my room would be ready in about 30 minutes. After waiting 2 hours in the lobby, we decided to go to dinner. The staff promised me they would call me when it was ready. I never received a phone call. Other than that the room was nice and clean and was a quiet hotel.

Disservice to the paying customer
Not so good as i was charged twice by the hotel due to front desk clerical error as they canceled my booking as i paid through a 3rd party. Since the hotel made the error and lied about the timing of the error which cause me to pay twice. The booking agent would not refund me for my 2nd stay so i paid close to $500 instead of approximately $250

Great for family stay
The 2 queen suite was great for our family of 4. Lots of space to stretch out. Pull out couch was not comfortable, so teenager slept on the couch instead. Loved the eco friendly shampoo/conditioner/soap shower dispensers. Great property.

Our stay was perfection. From the polite front desk staff to the amazing room (love the swivel tv!) to the quiet and cleanliness- it was a great stay and we’ve already booked to stay again at graduation in a few months. This is our new Tallahassee go-to place to stay!

Great property that seemed fairly new... very clean, great room layouts, staff was friendly and efficient. The surrounding area is slightly sketchy (i felt fine walking out for dinner at night, but would not feel comfortable with my wife or daughter doing the same on their own). So overall, high marks and I'd stay here again.

Everything was good, only issue I had was with the people staying above us. The entire night they where making loud noises and dropping things. I didn’t sleep much. In the morning I spoke to the receptionist about it and she said she was going to talk to them. I told her there’s no point if I’m checking out already.

This was a nice hotel but it seemed they were short of staff to thoroughly clean the rooms. The fridge was still dirty and the bathroom mirror and artwork and walls still had dried water marks and handprints left on them. The dining was closed the day we came and the breakfast was good but things were missing and not being attended to very well. The area outside was noisy with cars and trucks being loaded and unloaded and construction. The area seemed a little sketch for our liking

We were told that we would have rooms side by side before booking the room. When we arrived after a days drive we learned this was not the case for our girls and us. Therefore we had to all sleep in one room. Upon entering the room we found spiders on the bed as well as stains. The refrigerator was very dusty and dirty on top. The blankets and bed were not as comfortable as we would have liked. The lobby and downstairs area were well furnished and modern , we just wish the room had more attention paid to the cleanliness.

Hello. My husband and daughter just returned from their overnight stay. We’ve stayed there before and we were really unhappy with the room. The room’s shower did not work. They had to return to the room for something they forgot and maintenance confirmed it did not work. He told the manager about it but he did not appear concerned. My daughter also complained that the sheets did not small fresh.

Our trip for baseball camp at FAMU was awesome and our stay at Hyatt enhanced the experience. The location, breakfast, cleanliness was awesome. The only negative is the parking, other than that this will be our home while in Tallahassee.

This is a fabulous property! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The lobby bar is great and convenient after a long drive. The breakfast was really great- hot and cold options. Far superior to other hotel breakfasts. Thank you! I will stay here again when I’m back in Tallahassee.
