The room was old, shower fixtures were rusty, floors were filthy left our feet black and dirty, people outside begging for money and drugs. Totally not worth the money. Very unhappy.

UPON AWAKENING , WE LOOKED AT THE ROOM CLOCK. WE GOT READY FOR BREAKFAST AND WENT TO THE BREAKFAST AREA. POLITELY WE WERE TOLD IT WAS NOT OPENED YET. ACCORDING TO THE ROOM CLOCK IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OPEN. TO OUR MISFORTUNE WE SHOWED UP OND HOUR EARLY. THE ROOM CLOCK WAS NEVER SET BACK AS PART OF THE TIME CHANGE. WAS NOT HAPPEY CAMPER GETTING UP AT 4:00 THINKING IT WAS 5:00. PLEASE MAKE BETTER EFFORT TO CHANGE CLOCKS AT APPROPRIATE TIMES.

I liked how easy it was to make changes to the room temperature and fan sounds (helped hide vehicle highway sounds and train sounds), comfortable bed with 4 varieties of pillows (firm, medium, soft, and medium-firm)…Also liked the large selection of beautifully designed towels! Nice and helpful Staff!

The Best Western Inn has become a regular pit to stay in Florence. The hotel is very clean,and the staff (from the front desk personnel to the house keepers) are extremely courteous and friendly.

Handicapped room on the go
Always a problem traveling and looking for a handicapped accessible room. Was really happy to see one listed on the Best Western site as available. Room was good size, wheel chair for nicely. Bed was a little high but we are used to that. Bathroom worked well

The place is showing signs of age, not especially clean and
out of date. I don't mind all exterior room entries but then
there needs to be more amenities to offset. all in all a
tired and used to be good stay.

Checkin was efficient and pleasant. Yhe room was very welcoming in its cleanliness and how it was maintained. Did not like that we couldn't close the inner heavy curtains to block out light.

I went to front desk to do another day woman on duty declined to extend me please rewind the tape and tell me what did i do wrong .Very unprofessional im a Supervisor at Walmart distribution center in Virginia im going to tell all my employees as well as coworkers about this.

Where to begin? Booked hotel for 150$ with my cc after 10 hours driving. Upon trying to check in, was told I needed a 30$ cc deposit or 100$ cash. I offered my cc and the rude lady at the desk told me they don't take that card. Even though I booked the room with it. So I had to find an atm in the middle of the hood to get the cash. Whatever. But AFTER giving the cash deposit, was told I wasn't allowed to check out until AFTER 930am when housekeeping had time to check my room so I could get my deposit back. I was on a 25 hour trip and planned to leave at 6am but had to wait until 10am when the cleaners were ready. Granted it took them a whole 2 mins as she walked in, said ok and we got the money back. Why a front desk person couldn't have done that at 6am I do not know. The only saving grace was the morning hotel front desk lady.
Shower has someone else's shaving hair glued to the wall and dead bugs everywhere. DO NOT STAY HERE. It should have been in the 55$ range. Parts of the building and stairway were falling off and wrapped in yellow caution tape. Place was a joke

Outdated, noisy, no manager on duty.
Very outdated. Toilet ran all night. A/C sounded like a freight train. No hair dryer. Tons of outside noise all hours of the night. No manager on duty all weekend to take care of my needs. Way overpriced for the stay.

We chose this place because of the pool and free breakfast. The pool was literally at the end of the parking lot, 10 feet away from cars driving by, AND it closed at 8 PM, while there was still plenty of sunlight.
I went to the free breakfast at 9:30 am on Sunday, only to find out that breakfast ended at 9:00 am. Who ends breakfast at 9 am??? Especially on a Sunday. Very disappointing.
Furthermore the area around the parking lot just had a questionable vibe. I didn't witness anything terrible...it just didn't feel right.
On the positive side, the room itself was nice, comfortable, and clean. Good tv, fridge, and microwave. The sink was outside the bathroom which is a plus, though the bathroom itself was small.

Old, needs updating

The unit was on the second floor.

Check in on the website said anyone 18 or over. Upon arrival, I was told I would have to pay an extra $80 for being under 21 - something NOT stated on the website or during the reservation process. My room was dirty, and despite reserving a room with one king bed, I was given a room with two queens. Pool was indefinitely closed and the “breakfast” was honestly just sad. The customer service however was phenomenal, with each staff member being welcoming and warm.

Pretty shabby. I don't expect too much at pet-friendly facilities, but the bathroom was not up to par; towels were very thin; the grout was moldy. The check-in person was rather grumpy, not welcoming. The refrigerator did not work.

I stopped here while traveling for work. Checked in late night, checked out and left first thing in the morning. I only stopped to sleep a few hours before continuing my drive. I was charged a "smoking fee" of $150.00 because there was dried tobacco in the trash can from a cigar that was cracked. Nothing was lit or smoked in the room. Upon realizing this charhe i contacted hotel and spoke to manager Rosind Herbert who refused to remove the charge stating that she was told the HouseKeeping manager walked into room filled with smoke. I am not a cigarette smoker and did not smoke anything in room. There were no signs of ash or burn marks. The manager couldnt verify what time the "house keeping manager" when in after the checkout. So without any evidence besides someone saying they walked into a smoke filled room ( which i 💯 percent know is not true i was charged an additional $150 ) and i have no way to debate it.

Avoid at all costs
Room reeked of cigarette smoke. They gave us another room which didn’t smell but wasn’t clean. Staff was indifferent at best; housekeeper was playing video games in the hallway ignoring us. A very poor experience.

Room was very nice as was the pool. The only disappointment was the complimentary breakfast. The only options were white bread for toast, granola bars and instant oatmeal even though it was the middle of the time assigned for breakfast hours.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We just had one night as we were just passing through on a long road trip. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was big and had a nice table and chairs to sit at. The pool and pool area were great! We were able to sit out and enjoy some time outside for a few hours. The room was clean and the kids loved the breakfast options. We will definitely book this location again on future road trips.

We stopped just to pass through on a journey north. Check in was easy. There is no elevator, so we had to schlep bags up stairs late night. The room was musty and carpet was gross. We slept fine. We left early in the morning. The check out was easy but I went to get coffee and the machine said empty. The clerk got up to help. She set up the new grinds but was not pleasant about it. She “fixed it” but I went to get the coffee and it came out as water. I did not want to disturb her again, so I left. I took mills for my kids, but they were expired. Gross.

The toilet was wobbly. The temperature was very hard to regulate. The mattress pad was stained. The TV was hard to operate. The internet was very slow. I believe the property is due for an upgrade.

The property allows pets which cause bugs in the beds. The air condition has to stay on or else the bugs start to bite. Rooms smell old like it’s never mopped or wiped down. The front desk lady is so kind but the rooms needing deep cleaning

Property is ok. It is well taken care of, an older motel, re done, but the staff keep it up pretty good. What we did not care for much was that there was a 20$ extra charge for our cat and a 100$ deposit extra.

Traveling by myself, so I could put up with the place for a night. Sketchy area- all the hotels looked the same. Ruby Tuesday next door, hardly anyone there, so I stayed away. They say breakfast in the morning- had coffee, they ran out of hot food. Don’t stay here.

A $60 room for $90 plus
There is no way this “outside entrance“ should be a $96 room! It is not that safe an area and not that safe other guests. This is a $70 room at best. Noise through the walls is incredible! The best part of this reservation was the front desk personnel who were delightful. I would not recommend a family staying here due to safety concerns. I would not recommend anyone staying here unless they can get this for under $70 a night.

Failure in Florence
We chose Best Western, since we have chosen BW several times. What a disappointment!!! This BW is old…the check in was weird. You would think that I was a criminal. I had to sign 2 waivers & a $100. deposit for damages. The lady that checked us in was not pleasant…don’t think she enjoys her job!! The room was not up to BW standards & smelled musty. We checked in late, tired, & frustrated. We were awakened at 5 am by a train. We have always been pleased with Hotels.com. You should review this place & make improvements. We will be more careful next time!!! We’re crossing Florence off our list!!! After a 7 hr. drive from Florida, we thought our stay would be like the BW in Kingsland, GA. Just saying! PS. They stopped serving breakfast at 9 am!!!
