Miss leading as it is older building presented on line as more modern. Had roach problems. Currently reno, plumbing, shower water not hot.
Appreciated an upgrade to 28th floor. It had a beautiful view canal, mts & sneak view of beach. Cental location to international market,beach shops restaurants,zoo & aquarium great if your not driving.

Three-star hotel with motel-like facilities and decoration.
The furniture in the room is very cheap. The kitchen facilities are very limited. There is only one knife, which is too dull to cut mangoes. There is no fruit knife. There is only a very cheap small aluminum pot, and no pot for boiling soup. There are only two packets of coffee, but no creamer. The spatula for stir-frying is a very cheap plastic spatula. The air conditioner is an old window-type air conditioner, which is very noisy. It is basically impossible to sleep with it on at night. The parking fee is 35 yuan per day, but the parking lot is very narrow, and only compact cars can be parked.
Dispoint on the hotel, with this price.

Avoid At All Costs
Hotel is a mess especially the lack of amenities at a minimal. Couldn’t get a box of Kleenex without going downstairs on the most archaic elevators since the invention of the elevator.
Dayani at the front desk check in was the only thing positive I’ll remember she was wonderful - I lived in Honolulu for 54 years and stayed at the Island Colony before and never will again. Can’t give a half decent review because the was nothing even remotely decent about this stay.
You guys are horrible! And it was overpriced for that lack of quality - embarrassing and pretty much ruined my trip.

Property is old, neighbors were noisy, window ac unit was too small & old for the room size. I was ok with all this, but on my last day there, there was no water from 8.30am to 5pm. I had just come back from a hike, had a flight late afternoon & couldn't even shower, this is unacceptable! won't stay here again...

Never ever staying there!!
When we checked in the hotel didn’t tell us the water was going to be shut off 830a to 5p. We found out by reading the announcement in the elevator. The room we were in the garbage disposal didn’t work. The kitchen sink kept on backing up.

Not impressed.
I booked it because of the kitchenette however it was missing a lot of basics so it was not practical to use.
It was also very dirty and I killed several cockroaches.
Overall very disappointing for the price.

This hotel is in a great location by the canal, away from the noise and bustle of the beach area, which was a huge plus for us. The staff were all great. The hotel is a bit dated (it kind of reminds me of the late 70’s), but very convenient. The one area that needs some updating, is the bathroom. It kind of reminded us of something you would expect in an airplane. Cramped. They appeared to be working in the room next to us early in the am, as there was drilling and tapping,etc, which made it difficult to completely chill like we were hoping. Thankfully, the North Shore called to us.

Experience you'll never forget.
Initially, it wasn't very clear because it's half condo and half hotel. I feel bad for the conditions the employees need to work with. I booked a king bed but got a twin bed instead. I returned to the front desk and mentioned the mistake because I had reserved a king bed. At first, they said it was based on the request, but I said the website didn't disclose that. I got the room I originally reserved, so that's good. The elevators were confusing. We ended up using the staff elevators. Then, when we figured it out, the elevators are separated apart on the floors, so if you are waiting in front of the elevator, you hear a "Ding" indicating the elevator is here. It's on the other end, so you must rush over before it closes.

Worst, most uncomfortable bed! Pillows are hard as rocks and lumpy, bed is firm and uncomfortable. Sofas are worn out, saggy and uncomfortable.

This place was pretty gross, unfortunately. Smelly, smokey room. Pool had popsicle sticks & other debris in it. :-( It had a weird mix of tourist and residents.

There was cockroaches in our room, the rooms are also a little old and lacks cleanliness. The pool was very nice as well as the lobby and it is in a location where you can easily walk to the stores etc.

Dirty run down hotel
Very uncomfortable hotel. Mattress were sold old they had ruts in them. Overall condition of this hotel was dirty and run down. AC unit when it ran sounded like an airplane in your room. I also watched a man fall from a balcony nobody reached out to see how I was or no update on the nan. Stepped on glass around the pool. It cost more to park the car a night than it did to rent it. Constant issues getting out if the parking lot.

Very dirty run down hotel. Staff was great but this hotel is extremely extremely over priced. Me seitched room and the second one was a bit better but it was a very dirty hotel.

Toke for ever to get out room when we checked in, it wasn’t clean the room, stayed 7 days and no one came to asked if we need it room service or anything. We had to go ask for staff at front office.

It was a decent place, not very fancy. Room was in OK condition. We never had cleaning service though which we would have liked since we stayed four nights, but it was a pretty convenient place. Everything was at walking distance, beach, shopping stores and restaurants.

Pictures and review deceived me
Location was good. View from the balcony was gorgeous. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Most of the staff were nice. Everything else, not great. Saw a roach one night. Outdated old rooms. Reserved a room with 2 queen beds, got 2 doubles instead. Both mattresses were sunken at the edges making for backaches. Water was shut off 10am-2pm for 4 days for maintenance work which we didn’t know about until we saw a sign on the elevator. Mini kitchen came with pots and pans with Teflon coating completely scratching off. Parking was $35/night. It’s our first time on this island, and I found out the units are individually owned, so hopefully I just got a bad unit.I don’t know how it got rated 3 star hotel with 7.4 reviews when it was motel quality.

Aqua skyline had a wonderful pool with cabanas you could use. Unfortunately the rest of the hotel was sub par. After 4 days we had to call to get our room cleaned . We were also never told that we had to throw our own trash away. The couches and carpet-had stains. The living room also had no air conditioning.

I had to change room to another cause of old air conditioning unit noise loudest noise (73db max) I ever heard.
Front desk guy kindly help me out to change the room even it's 1:30am .
But unfortunately the other room also has outdated old air conditioning unit .
For the first time in years I was really regretted this choice of mine.
Don't get involved with this hotel.

First thing as soon as we walked in. I saw cockroach running up the wall by our bed.
The bed was a OK. Pillows needed to be replace.
The bathroom small space and the shower head is way too low. The sink was not clean. The carpet didn’t look like it was vacuum properly. Didn’t use the safe since it was low battery. I think the coffee maker should be upgraded into K Cups. Plus it was dirty. My husband didn’t used it at all. The hallway smells old.
I give this place 2 star.

Location good, near shops & close to bus services.
The pillows need to be replaced. All 6 pillows in our room were flat, & hard. Got 2 from front desk that were a bit better, but still not good.
Also had to ask at desk for coffee & sugar. They were out of caffinated coffee for the last 4 days of our stay.
We had a few bugs, need some traps or a bug spray in the room.

Most of the services were very pleasing. Specially receptions on lobby were very cool. Someone is always there if in case you need some extra towels, toilet tissues, coffees, trash bags and so on. I liked the grocery store located on sixth floor I got almost everything I needed. Swimming pool and spa are very clean and well maintained. What I didn’t like is floor carpet in our room which was dirty and sticky. Rest are fine.

The property is outdated. There is no air conditioning in the hallways so they are musty smelling and humid. Cleaning service is only once a week so you must take your dirty towels etc. downstairs to retrieve more as well a bathroom toilet tissue. The upside is they staff are very friendly and security made you feel the property was safe.

The room was in bad and awful conditions, smell bad, ac didn’t work properly it was shutting down completely by itself.
Fridge was disconnected, tv was old and cable tv wasn’t HD.
Bed mattress was old and very uncomfortable,
Few face towels were yellow stain.
It was the worst room i ever stay paying that amount of money.
It’s wasn’t worth that money.

Curtains were in tatters.
Cleaners only came in once every 3-4 days and didn't change sheets despite 11 day stay.
A lot of noise from neighbouring condos.
Great location, 2 blocks to the beach. One block to buses which will take you anywhere.

The bed and "pillows" were hard as boards. The pillows were 2 inches thick and square, couldn't be fluffed at all. This made sleeping uncomfortable.

The views from our room were amazing! However, the lady at the front desk was very inpolite and quite rude. The front desk guys were super nice and helpful though, and the security guards. The property is beautiful. Our balcony floor wasn't clean and the bathroom was very old and outdated, the shower was coming apart. The window AC is very loud and can also use updating.

The property overall was in a good location. Close to food and shopping. Carpet in the room was filthy bugs were seen. Plenty of sand left behind from previous visitor. The building structure itself appeared to be falling apart and in need of upgrades.. The pool area on the six floor with the laundry facilities are very nice. It was very difficult to use the elevators although there were many available there was much waiting to be had.

Cockroaches, no housekeeping, and filthy carpet
When I entered the room, I saw five cockroaches. Not a very welcoming scene. The carpets are FILTHY. I didn't even want to walk barefoot on them. The bath tub looked a little sketchy as well. I didn't expect the rooms to be so gross. And we did not get housekeeping the entire 7 days we were there. We were told we only get it on day four. Day four came and went. I called on day 5 and asked for housekeeping. Got back that night....no housekeeping came. The elevators take FOREVER. And they are quite confusing. Some shut down after a certain time. Some only go to the garage. It was somewhat annoying having to get on two different elevators to get from the garage to the room (we had strollers and babies and bags with us). Anytime we needed anything, we had to go down and get them ourselves...which made the slow elevators even more frustrating. My key didn't work once. I had to go down and get a new one. Went back up. Didn't work again. Had to go back down. This whole ordeal took about 25 minutes of waiting for elevators and going up and down. I would not stay here again.

I liked that the property itself was within walking distance of the beach and many tourist local spots but the property itself was a bit off the inside had a weird smell, and looks very old and musty but overall the rooms are clean looking and decent. THE WORST PART IS THEY CHARGE FOR PARKING EVERY SINGLE DAY! $35 PER NIGHT this was such a huge expense

Expensive and run down but great wifi
Expensive at about $300 aud/night for 8 nights. Location is close to Waikiki. No housekeeping due to COVID. Room was spacious but old and not on par with cost. Bathtub in need of resurfacing and shower curtain rail was a telescopic pole that kept falling down, bathtub also would not drain properly. Wifi was excellent at 270MB/s.

Not really sure where to start… the check in process was slow and the person that checked us in attempted to use two of my cards for the resort fees and security deposit for the room. She seemed to be struggling to enter my info and said it was being declined. Called my bank and the agent with my bank said there was no attempts made to process any transactions so she must have been entering the card info wrong. Next, got the room keys and hit the elevator. Upon stepping out of the elevator, was hit with an odor that I can only refer to as sour baby throw up smell. The hallway was dimly lit and dungy looking. Got to the room and opened the door. It got worse. The room was dark and not inviting. The bedding and sheets were not inviting and just looked dirty. The carpet and floors looked like they were not well kept. The AC unit had one temperature setting and was not adjustable. The room had a “kitchenette”… however it was TINY and all the kitchen utensils, pots, plates and pans didn’t look clean. There was only one sink and that was in the bathroom that only had a sliding door with a latch for a lock. I’m 5’5 tall and the ceiling in the bathroom must have only been 6ft tall because I could touch it. It was crampy in the bathroom and felt tight. Supplies for the bathroom were next to non existent. To top it off, that evening, a small roach was in there. Needless to say, we checked out the next morning. Me, my girlfriend, and two daughters. DONT STAY HERE.

Me and my family really enjoyed the fact that they had a general store on the 6th floor with absolutely EVERYTHING! I regret having made the trip to target, because everything we needed was in this store. Milk, cereal, goggles, otc meds, alcohol, footwear, ice cream, drinks, etc. My family and I really enjoyed the restaurant in the lobby as well! loved the atmosphere and local food that they cooked!

The property is a mixed use with residents, short term and long term rentals along with hotel.
Weird COVID hours for the pool and closed by 9pm. But lobby stayed open so groups can hang out there. We went with 6 couples.
The only problem we had was with 2-3 cockroaches per day and the room was louder than normal due to the area. But this is a tropical location, bugs come with that.

The location was in the heart of Waikiki but just a couple streets away from all the noise. The view was breathtaking. Location was perfect! Parking & customer service on the other hand was awful! We had a van they wouldn’t let us park in the garage. We drove around for 2.5hrs looking for places to park! We booked 7 rooms and they wouldn’t allow us to park in lobby. The height allowance for van was within limits but refused us to park. The head security said if we get stuck he’ll have to write a report and don’t want to risk us going into the garage. This killed our evenings there looking for parking everynight! They wouldn’t give us any recommendations where to take our van they just said it’s not there problem. I’ve never dealt with such rudeness! Nothing on there website says they WON’T accommodate parking. No valet. It’s pretty sad. I will not book there again.

The pool was nice. The room was in poor condition and was nothing like the photos on Travelocity. It was very run down. I saw and disposed of a roach the morning after I arrived. I would not stay there again, unfortunately. The condition of the room was **vastly** different that the photos suggested.

I was there during the historic rains. The electricity went out, which of course the property had no control over. Only one elevator has a generator. I was on the 42nd floor. With no electricity, there was also no pump to get the water to the 42nd floor. I couldn't bathe or flush toilet. I asked for one night compensation, but had booked through Expedia so they said they couldn't give me $ back. When Expedia contacted them on my behalf, they said I had already been compensated (they returned $50 pool fee). So essentially they LIED.
The room was not very clean and when I finally could take a shower the water didn't drain so I was standing in filthy water. Gross!

I had to pay for early check in. The whole floor stinks. They put me in a room next to the garbage chute. The room stinks, floors sticky and sand everywhere. Found cockroaches in the room. Thankfully they were accommodating for us to change floor and room away from any garbage chute. This room was a lot better but we still end up sleeping with the lights on just in case. Overall, would not recommend.

Kitchenette was stocked up enough to cook (no spices or oils), 24 hour front desk was super helpful every time I went there. Beach towel, extra coffee, extra garbage bags were all super convenient. Parking on-site was $30/day but never full during the holidays. Great value spot that is close enough to walk anywhere in Waikiki.

Property is getting very run down. Maybe because of Covid they only clean your room every 4th day. We stayed 2 weeks and had our room cleaned only once we also had to move three times. The night we arrived we open the door to the room and saw a bunch of bugs just scattering. They moved us immediately. The next room a couple of days later we also saw bugs moved us again. Staff is amazing super helpful and friendly.

I had to checkout of the room an hour after check in with no refund due to it being roach infested other than that it would have been completely fine.
