No Breakfast after 9
I love staying here it’s a great location and always clean. Other than this trip we didnt get to have the complementary breakfast. Because they only put it out till 9 am. And let’s just say when we got there at 910. There was nothing to eat. Not even a crumb

Hotel was so so. Our toilet didn’t run right our entire stay. Staff came and said they fixed it but it wasn’t fixed. Tank wouldn’t fill back up with water after flushing. We kept having to take the lid off the tank and messing with it until it would fill.

Great location, clean, good value in Delray Beach
Very friendly staff, clean reasonable priced room and a great location. Only a short (0.9 mile) walk to the beach and tons of restaurants within a few blocks. You can stay here and not pay the "resort" fees that hotels closer to the beach charge.

Great location but needs remodeling.
Great location and service. Needs remodeling. Room too expensive for condition. Furniture chipped. Toilet leaks near wall. Hotel too cold. I spent 10 days here Dec 6 - 16. Of course I’m coming back next March 2024. I paid almost $300 a night
I should get a free night or reduced rate!!

Nice one night stay

Weve stayed at the Hyatt place in Delray several times over the past decade or so when visiting Florida. Always found it to be clean, comfortable, and convenient to get around to dining and shopping spots in Delray. The continental breakfast is pretty good, although you have to get down there Well before closing time to get all of the food,. The gym facilities are quite good for a hotel and the pool and hot tub are lovely ways to end the day.

Great place. Could do a little better on comfort and convenience. Ran out of towels & toilet paper. Upon checking in someone needed to request shampoo & soap. No microwave no n the room and no complementary water for morning coffee. Coffee wasn’t replaced and housekeeping missed a day. But the hotel was clean, staff friendly & location is excellent, about a mile from the beach

For a Hyatt hotel it had to be the worst breakfast offered. Not many choices and food not in a hot plate. We were told breakfast was from 7 to 10. Monday we got there at 9 and a few things out. Seeing a pot with a scoop of eggs was really gross. Other than the breakfast issue the rest was great.

Great location, basic otherwise
The location is the major reason to stay here — in the central Pineapple Grove area right near Atlantic Ave. Otherwise found the hotel average overall. Came in October and it was often very difficult to find any front desk staff at night; felt like one person was handling the entire hotel so couldn’t get extra toilet paper or towels with any speed (they did their best but overall had a kind of confused air about them). Our first room had some suspect marks on the mattress and they were nice enough to immediately love us to another which was clean.

Last minute but great find
Spend two great nights at this Hyatt. All up to par with the brand name: Rooms, service, cleanliness, breakfast. Close everything in Delray. Overall great stay.

Nice hotel -few takeaways for improvement
Nice hotel: clean, service was great. Couple of takeaways- pool leaves a lot to be desired. Coffee station pulled away at 930 am, breakfast even earlier. The. There is a coffee bar you can purchase from but no one is ever there and then the manager tried to do it but there were no supplies for the machine. Ridiculous. Hotel parking per night is expensive at 24.00.

Wouldn’t stay here again, disappointing.
This was a disappointing stay. I usually really like Hyatt’s. I would not come back to this hotel unless they did some serious renovations. It’s unfortunate because the location is so great. The room did not feel clean even though all I could taste whenever I walked in was cleaner. It was hard to sleep because I felt like I was tasting and inhaling cleaner the whole time. Not only that the beds were so uncomfortable and old. The room was so odd. There was not great lighting even with all the lights on. On one of the nights there were people yelling all throughout the night. I made a call at 2:30 ish in the morning and was told that it was a wedding party and that they would talk to them but I don’t think it happened because the yelling and noise continued. It was awful. The next night we had to listen to loud yelling and noise until probably 1 am. I mean it was ridiculous. Like others have said the carpets look so dirty and stained. I was just shocked when we checked in because I’ve never stayed in a Hyatt like this. So disappointing especially for how much you pay to stay there. Like I said I would not stay there again unless some serious renovations took place.

The staff did not clean the pool for an entire week. The rooms were cleaned once every 4 days. It was very difficult to get towels for the room and toilet paper. When the beds were made, the sheets were touching the floor rather then tucked.

There was an issue with the reservation check in. It was in the hotel system but they claimed Expedia made a mistake and they couldn’t process it right. Something about $12 difference in rates benwwten the two systems. Had to wait 40 minutes for check in until resolved. I would though they’d give us the room while they resolve the issue instead of keeping us waiting at the desk.

Needs updating, furniture old, rooms dated, time for an overhaul.

Went to the bar and asked for a salad which the bartender in turn went to the counter and gave me a salad that was a day over date, wanted a fresh salad and all she said was you have to go the the front desk. I ordered the a fresh salad from her. Training is needed here.
I would come again but things need adressing.

Excellent choice. The hotel is just 1 block from Atlantic Ave. Room was clean and comfortable. The variety of complementary breakfast is a plus. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel.

Time to invest some $$ here.
Needs a facelift. Carpets worn, bathroom switches glitchy, Exposed wiring at elevator in lobby.
But the staff was excellent! In particular, Autumn was fabulous, very friendly, professional and helpful.

Unclean room
2 night stay and we will not return. Room was unclean trash in the bathroom and mold in the shower. Very disappointed. Showed the staff they realized it was bad but did not ask us to change a room and the hotel was not crowded. They did although refund 1 night stay.

I stayed at a Marriott in Boyton before coming to the Hyatt and let me just say I will always choose the Marriot I chose. I was very disappointed with the Hyatt. The staff was not friendly or made me feel safe (knowing I was traveling with my 6 year old daughter alone) the lady gave me an attitude about asking for a cup of milk for my daughter. the room was kind of dirty the tv was not even a smart tv so you could stream Netflix on… This hotel needs renovations, if you want to keep charging 300 dollars a night. Yes the location is great, but I will ALWAYS stay at the Marriot for now on. Not impressed. It was our last two days in south Florida also that we stayed at the Hyatt, even my daughter didn’t like the vibes.

This hotel was in the heart of downtown Delray Beach and proximity to restaurants, shops, beach was excellent and quite walkable. The only thing was the Shampoo/Soap in the shower did not foam enough, so I wish I took my own. Friendly Staff and good buffet breakfast.

Great location bad service
The property was in a great location but the service was extremely lacking. The people at the front desk were extremely unhappy. They didn’t smile, and they were very unhelpful. Whenever you ask them a question they give you minimal answers and solutions. Also, the rooms seemed to be remodeled, but it was very unclean a lot of stains in the hallways and just didn’t get a very clean feeling from the place.

Disfuntion at Hyatt Place
Could not open or close widow shade in my room. They turned one elevator down for maintenance then the second elevator broke., All stairs now. Go to the bar for a beer, tap empty.

The carpets throughout the hotel need cleaning. The mini fridge in the room did not cool. There was no microwave in the room. The bed headboards were filthy (seemed as if drinks had been splashed on them). There were no coffee cups in the room.

For Expedia users, please note that the hotel says they don't guarantee the type of room that you reserve. We had requested an accessible room and there was none available and they went through a big diatribe how they don't guarantee anything that goes through a third party.
The area is walkable with many options for great dinners, art, shopping.

Decadent hotel charging 5 star rate
I always stay at this hotel when coming to Delray for business or pleasure. This stay was quite disappointing. They gave me the worst room at the hotel.. I couldn’t open my window because if I did so, I wouldn’t have any privacy because the pool was right in front of it. There were bugs in the drawers. The staff was unfriendly and I ran into some of them fighting (like really fighting) a couple of times. The breakfast was horrible, I wouldn’t pay 10 bucks for it. They charged me a 5 star hotel rate. I am never coming back

Disappointed
The rooms need to be updated. The paint was blotchy on the wall. I noticed there’s only one person cleaning the room. I felt that our room was not up to standard. I found hair on the floor in the bathrooms. There was no Kleenex or body wash I for felt for how much I was paying I expected more.

The air quality in the room was so damp and musty. We all started coughing throughout the night. The bathroom sliding door didn’t work properly and constantly slammed to the side. At breakfast we met other guests who said they haven’t stopped sneezing because of all the dust.
