A nice comfortable quiet place to relax.
The rooms were very nice. We had stayed there before the remodel and we were very pleased with the new décor. It was comfortable and convenient to many places. We recommend this to all. It's worth the money.

Best hotel in Surprise, Arizona.
I love this hotel. A lot of parking. When you walk in, the tv & the calming music made me feel at ease. It is always clean. Hotel staff are the best. Always nice & polite. Breakfast, the food is always delicious & the servers are always kind. I have recommended this hotel to several friends & family. They love it too.

The hotel room was very nice and spacious and great for the price. However the surrounding area was a bit run down and I would not feel safe walking around the area alone. Not too many options for eating nearby either.

Though some things were updated, the carpets were dingy and worn out and overall, it seemed dated. I could also hear the room across the hall with both doors closed. I was disappointed, given the rating it had. I will not use this hotel again.

Perfect for price point.
We came to surprise for a birthday party and I picked windmill based on price for how many travelers we had with us. The bedding was super comfortable, ac was nice and cold. It was perfect for our night away.

Check in was not good. No info about where anything was and a bad experience in elevator. Door wouldn’t open (big clunk) we had to push service button. Finally got out. Once we rerouted ourselfs service could not have been better. Staff in eating area were above and beyond.

Comfortable and quiet
I love this hotel it’s quite clean, and the suites have a living room and the bedroom so it doesn’t make you feel like you’re staying in a hotel. I will definitely stay again

My boyfriend is 6’5. We booked a king suite and without any notice, we’re given a “queen” 2 bed room. I say “queen” because the beds were more like full beds on a good day. After calling downstairs and dealing with the rude employees we were told there were no more kings and he had to sleep with his legs hanging off the bed all night. No attempts were made to solve the issue and I still paid the same price.

We loved the layout of the room which allowed for it to be very quiet when sleeping. We also received great help from Jessica when our flight was delayed over 5 hours. Lourdes, the sweet lady who served breakfast every morning, was a delight and she made each morning so cheerful.

The room was very spacious, and I really appreciated being able to close off the bedroom from the living area and bathroom. The pool was refreshing and clean, the hallways and main lounge area very clean as well. Breakfast was average, and the parking lot very well lit which I appreciated being a solo traveler and parking in the rear for easier access to the door and my room. I didn’t feel walking anywhere in the area for food was convenient, and the closest neighborhood is a bit run down. The staff was very friendly, easy check in and out.

Had a great stay. Only draw back was some bad luck. First night I got back to my room just before 10pm and as I walked in I heard a chirp. Then another and realized it was the fire alarm battery. When I called the front desk I was informed there was no access to get battery replaced. So I had to try and sleep through the chirping. But other than that it was a pleasant stay.

the next day, the entire building had no wifi, so no tv at all.
in my room had water leaking from the ceiling, not offered anything from the hotel to accommodate my stay. I had to pile my clean towels on the floor as it soaked up all night long. it was a mess

I feel like this was a perfect fit for us. My son and I needed a place with a microwave and fridge but this property had a separate room so my son could do his homework and a cubby area where I could food prep. t was a great layoue.

From being moved rooms to uncomfortable pillows and who could forget the giant Pee stain on the comforter nicely hidden under the throw, this has to be one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and after informing the front desk I was told I could come work in the lobby instead. I’m not expecting a resort style experience, but this whole stay was just unacceptable. Note to future travels: bring conditioner as they do not carry any. I was lucky enough to get another hotel and leave a night early, but was not offered any sort of compensation for the stay needing to be cut short.

We needed to find a hotel to stay due to our AC being out in our house. Windmill Suites was a fantastic respite. They were helpful, supportive and understanding. The manager, Sandra, was beyond amazing. We greatly enjoyed our stay with Windmill Suites.

Great value for large family
We were very happy to find a place that had a single room that could accommodate our family of six to where everyone had a place to sleep. The facility was older but decent.
Loved the free hot breakfast. So many choices of things to eat and drink. Also loved the large beverage dispenser that held complimentary ice water 24/7. We all took advantage of that throughout the day.
Front desk attendant Sandra was very friendly & helpful during our stay. She also went out of her way to look into an item my son lost during our stay. She located it and would later send it to us via mail as we already left and returned home out of state.
Lastly, the price of the room couldn't be beat. We stayed at five different hotels during our road trip across the U.S. and this place by far gave us the list for our $.
I would definitely recommend Windmill Suites as a place to stay in the west valley.

Nice room, sketchy environment
The outside of this hotel is very nice driving up. There is a nice mini lake with a fountain and they keep the front of the place well kept until you drive around back. Check in lobby is nice but it stops there (until you get to your room). This place has some sketchy people. There were several cars in the parking lot on the side and back where they would just sit in their cars. For a long time! I would feel relieved when I saw a family here. My teenage son didn’t feel safe for me at all. This place is huge inside with many winding long hallways so as a female with a kid, walking alone felt uneasy. I wouldn’t stay here again. I should’ve spent $80 and stayed at a LaQuinta. The reviews say it’s a nice place (and it probably was back in the day). It gives off apartment vibes and less of a hotel. The gym had a few pieces of old cardio equipment but it was too dark for me to use it. They have a laundry room with old washer and dryer machines. You’ll need quarters. Again their laundry facility looked run down and like an of laundry mat. The rooms though were nice and big. It was equivalent to a small suite. There were two tvs, a mini fridge and microwave that were tucked away in a small kitchen corner. Stay here if you are fine with a nice room and don’t care about the environment. If you are about feeling safe then it’s probably not for you. I stayed one night and left before breakfast. I was bummed cause the reviews boasted of a nice breakfast but I couldn’t stay longer.

The bathroom has stains on the ceilings. I’m not sure if it was mildew or mold. I did take pictures. We put the sign out to have our room serviced and it was not serviced. I did like the breakfast and the staff was friendly. Cleanliness was great. It’s just the stains on the ceilings that was worrying. I’m not sure I would want to stay there again just for that reason.

Nice tiny suite once you get inside, pretty lake view. Guest welcome fine but not friendly. To get to my suite, you had to pass open industrial laundry room, staff lounges, a bit depressing, but otherwise a convenient quiet room. Sheets low grade—they haven’t invested in the best kind hotels have caught onto. But bed comfortable, decor nice. The tiny fridge was frozen, then leaked when temp turned down. Still, it was fine overall, I could overlook things I might complain about if I felt like being picky.

Facility as a whole was not very well maintained. Broken down cars with people living out of them in the parking lot. Front desk area was nice and breakfast was decent. Room was clean but had a smoky pet smell and poor room lighting.

I have stayed at this Hotel probably about 20 times. The best thing about it is always the breakfast. Service of employees at the desk has improved.
It is always pretty clean and mostly quiet unless your room is near an elevator or stairwell.

Pool needs attention
The hotel lobby and check in staff were great. The comfort of the room was on points. The breakast was tasty and a clean environment.
Cons- the pool was less than desirable. It needed to be cleaned big time. In AZ we need our pool time, time to renovate and get that pool safer for guests.

The room was great, it was spacious, modern, and the bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was typical hotel buffet with plenty of options. The staff was polite. The only issue I had was the walls are paper thin and the cleaning staff was not quiet with their conversations. You could hear every word through the walls and from floor to floor. Everything else though, was quiet nice.

Well I ordered a king size accessible room. I called and said I was going to arrive late on Thursday night and they said that it was fine. We showed up around 8ish and we got the room and when I went inside the bed was queen mattress and full box spring and king size sheets. I went down to the front desk and she said that what she had available nothing else. I was really disappointed about not having a king size bed. Then the baseboard were falling off on almost every wall, the door to room didn’t work and when we got it to close they didn’t cover the whole opening so you could see into the room anyways. I got room 102 and when I was walking around looking for the room there was no room number on the outside of the room. The refrigerator was on the outside of the whole it was supposed to go in under counter top.
