Didn’t like that the room keys didn’t work very well.Also I was disappointed that the pool was in the shade most of the time. Otherwise, staff was very good and accommodating!

The property was very nice and the views were great. The noise from the rooftop bar was a little much but did not go on too late. The showerhead and water pressure were not great, but otherwise the room was quite nice.

It was a very nice hotel! They're putting another hotel up right outside the balcony, so that woke me up in the morning. I didn't really mind though. Everyone was very nice and kind!

Didn’t know there was construction of a new hotel right outside our room. Blocking the view and the noise started at 6:30 am. Very disappointed.

Pier House has been my favorite spot for a few of my vacations. I am without any suggestions for improvement. A standard is set high and is consistently met. Check in and subsequent interactions with staff are great! I have always walked away feeling as if I am family. The rooms are very clean and modern. The views from the balcony are gorgeous. The beach is a brief walk across the street. There are so many options for incredible food within walking distance. I come to be near to a friend I lost and clear my mind. The state of my head and heart are a testament to Pier House. Not sure when but best believe I will be back ASAP.

I just didn’t like how the lobby is not on the main floor. And no lounge for the waiting area. Maybe breakfast would be nice if they have tomatoes and cucumbers. Other than that things are good

Very poor security and service
The room was clean. The night desk clerk Vanessa was rude. The hotels parking garage is lacking security. There are no security cameras in most of the garage and this is a party area with lots of teenagers and suspicious people walking through the garage at all hours of the night. I could not leave my $65k Hellcat parked in the garage safely and we had to checkout early without even sleeping in the bed. The hotel manager only refunded me one of two days. They have a young kid who is supposed to be security. He hangs out in the hotel and does not even walk around the parking garage like he is supposed to. I do not recommend this hotel.

I only stayed one night and arrived after 9:00 pm, checked in and dropped my bags before going out for a bite to eat. I did not look out my window and went to bed after a long day of travel. I was woken up at 7 to the sound of construction. I looked out the window and found a building blocking the water view. I specifically picked this hotel for the view off the balcony. It was also shocking to find a whole crew of workers right outside my window this morning. There was no mention of construction and I did not ask to switch rooms as it was not discovered until morning. Nor was I asked at check out how my stay was. The hotel was not near capacity so I am not sure why they would give me room directly in front of a working construction crew. Also had issues getting the key cards to work.

Questionable cleanliness
My daughter and I stayed here to spend a day at the beach. The location is great and we could see the beach from our window. However, there was urine in the toilet of our room when we checked in which made us question the cleanliness.

My daughter and I came to Clearwater Beach to relax, have mother/daughter fun and drink around the world at Epcot for my daughter’s 21st B-day!!! Great hotel!! Been coming to Clearwater Beach for over 40 years and first time staying here. Wonderful experience and will DEFINITELY be staying here again!!

Had a balcony which was nice, but the view was that of a construction site right outside the balcony!! workers started hammering at 6:30 in the morning. That was not explained at booking. Disappointing😳

The Housekeeping staff are amazing. I worked at the Four Seasons years ago. I know a thing or two. These housekeepers are Major League. I think her name was Luci. Super Star.

Very unfortunate that the roof top bar was closed during our stay! We never stay at other locations. This is the best location and the reasonable pricing is a plus! The view is breathtaking.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. However, there is construction outside the marina side of the hotel that is very loud and you cannot enjoy your balcony on that side of the hotel. Great location to everything in Clearwater beach. Very much enjoyed the rock house live bar that is only a few steps away. The rooftop bar only opened once while we were there due to wind.

The hotel itself needs updating in a bad way, the bathroom in general was something you might expect from a budget hotel, super 8, motel 6 etc. poor water pressure in shower, toilets so low to the floor I thought it was made for a child. The so called “cable tv” programming was terrible. The weather was not good and forced us to stay in the room more than we wanted to. The TV service was substandard, very poor. Overall we were sadly disappointed with the Hotel.

This hotel is extremely nice and it is located directly across the street from the pier and main beach. I have stayed here with my family many times and will definitely stay here again. Everything is first class with great customer service at every stage.

Hotel furniture is a little outdated but all areas clean. The staff are amazing, starting from check in (person from check in was helpful and super friendly), breakfast attendant (the person that was taking care of the breakfast was super nice and welcoming).

We always stay here and enjoy our experience. There is construction going on and our room faced it so at 7:30am every morning the machines and hammering woke us up. That was not fun on vacation. So until construction is done make sure you ask where your room is.

The entrance is a dark under building parking lot. No one around. Then you have a little room with an elevator with no clear instructions thaty ou are supposed to take it up to the lobby to check in. The room was great but the Freevee tv channels constantly locking up. After having a second set of door cards made i finally had a maintenance guy show ma how you had to shove the card in and out as fast as humanly possible until it finally lets you in. Like insaid the room itself was nice and quite large with a beautiful view thru a floor to ceiling bay window. So i givebit a 7 over all

Great place near pier
I stay here every two years for last 10...always consistently clean and affordable. Love the cleaning staff and the breakfast (run your french toast thru toaster to heat). I always enjoy my stay..so close to the pier!!

The place was clean and the maid service was good but the front desk was not very personable. The coffee was not working in the room or in the free breakfast area. Asked the clerk at the front desk to refill the coffee machine at 7 am which is when it’s supposed to be available, and he didn’t for quite some time, I finally left to find a Dunkin.

This property was a bit disappointing. Pictures make it look for spectacular then it really is. It’s an average beach hotel in need of a modern makeover. It was clean quiet and convenient but the decor was a bit dated worn and off putting. The lounge chair in our room was so old and stained it should have been set on fire instead of kept in the room for continued use. The place was very quiet and very convenient to the main promenade and pier. The parking was very convenient and it was easy to find a space. A modern makeover would surely help this place out since the immediate surroundings are very expensive and modern looking. They would do so much better for themselves if updated. Our room was dark dated and worn our linens and bathroom were very clean. Our view was ok as it was blocked by a construction crane but that is not the fault of the hotel. Overall this was a one and done for us.

Quick and easy check in and a great top floor room with a marina view and a lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy it. Adorable elephant towel animal on the bed. Everything I needed in a room, and a bath tub and a Keurig were just what I needed and of course, beautiful sunset view from Jimmy’s crows nest. Perfect mini retreat for a Half Marathon race.

Big disappointment
I don’t understand the excellent ratings of this hotel. It’s worn, dingy and dark. Hotel needs a total update. Rugs are dirty, furniture is scuffed, etc. Ice machine is broken.

The hotel stay was nice location to the beach, to the pier and all the fun amenities that Clearwater Beach has to offer. The staff was very kind and attentive. The restaurant / bar on premises on the 10th floor was a nice addition if you want to be in the hotel, to drink responsibly and not drive.
We went up to the restaurant around happy hour and all the bar attendants and servers were really nice and attentive to us. Around sundown, which you can see beautifully at this spot, the bar gives you a rum runner shot for FREE as a gift to watch the sundown. The food was bar restaurant quality food. It was good with the drinks we got. My husband and I shared a Rum Bucket which comes with a souvenir bucket you can take home. The atmosphere was fun and everyone looked to have a wonderful time. The room we got was ocean view with no balcony, king size bed with pull out couch. The room is pretty big. The only drawback is that it's dark interior walls dark carpets and dark curtains. We have stayed at other hotels in Clearwater where the hotels design and interior are light, airy and had light beach blue, teal, white colors as their design. The cleaning staff is friendly, accommodating and very attentive as well. Buffet Breakfast is offered at the lobby and was very good and the morning staff were also very kind and attentive to our needs. Overall I would go back for another stay. Good time for our 23rd anniversary weekend. Blessings, J

8 am construction right outside my window, wifi did not work even after "maintenance" tried fixing it. so the smart tv did not work at all. dirty elevators, and graffiti randomly through out the hotel.

Fabulous as usual….
This is such a great spot for a family trip. Location is key. Views are amazing. It’s very clean. My youngest loves the towel animals. This was split between a couples trip where I stayed 4 nights across the street at a much more expensive hotel, and then this hotel 3 nights when the kiddos flew out. I honestly could have stayed at this location the entire 7 nights and been satisfied. I’ve stayed multiple times on family and friend trips and it never disappoints. Staff is very kind and efficient… from checking in, to towel service, to housekeeping. All staff were phenomenal and very pleasant! Ty
