Hotel was fantastic. Staff was very accommodating and kind. We attended the ACC Championship Game, GO NOLES! and the staff from the from desk to the security and everyone in between was so kind. Enjoy the hotel and would 100% stay there again based on the experience.

GREAT SERVICE
AWESOME HOTEL FOOD DRINK VERY GOOD. BARTENDER COURTNEY WAS AMAZING SERVER. ROOSEVELT HELPED CHECK OUT WITH MY LUGGAGE. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AS ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE. I WILL DEFINITELY STAY AT THE WESTIN NEXT TIME IN FOR CHAROLETTE

Checked in and went to the room and my key would not work i tried it a couple of time and then a gentleman open the door amd told me he just checked in himself. Went back down to the desk and told them that someone was already in that room. Tbey upgraded me to a bigger and better room for no charge

I've stayed at this property multiple times. I don't know if it's because I booked through Expedia. The room had a little smell and wasn't fresh at all. Then valet was full and we had to carry all of our bags from the parking garage. The commute was horrible.

Hotel staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Very convenient location for a Panthers game. Our only disappointment is the fitness center was shut down and there was no notice of this when we made our reservation.

Went for a soccer game. Stay was nice there was a snafu with room service after the game and we were comped breakfast. Over customer service was fantastic. Room convenient to the stadium.

When check in is at 4pm, and you show up at 4:45 to check in & you get told that it’s going to be at least another HOUR before your room is ready is beyond unacceptable. When you’re paying $600 a night for a room, you’d think it would be ready at the listed check in time. We weren’t offered any sort of apology or anything.
Next day, went to the bar/dining area for dinner. Food took over an hour and a half to show up, and when it did it was wrong, over cooked, and inedible. It wasn’t our servers fault, but again no manager ever came to talk to us or any table in the dining area, anything. We have stayed here before and it was fine, but this visit has changed our opinion of the Westin brand hotels.

This hotel is in the center of pretty much everything in the city. 3 blocks from Bank of America Stadium, a 1 1/2 blocks from the NASCAR Hall of Fame and about 5 blocks from the arena. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distances as well. All the staff I interacted with was friendly and professional.

its not worth the cost for a long weekend
it was really nice and glad i could not hear neigbors that was a huge plus. my biggest complaint is the supposedly updated my room but it didnt look at all like an update yet i had to pay extra. it was the most basic room so i was upset about the extra cost and i didnt even want an update my flight got in so early and i had nowhere else to put my stuff

Great location, easy walking distance to Bank of America stadium. Park valet & you can store your bags with bell hop after checking out of room & pick your car up after the game for no additional parking fee. Great bar with very friendly bartenders!

I got in quite early and didn’t expect my room to be ready but it was! I was very tired and it was great that I could rest. The room was okay a little dated, but I was happy to get some much needed rest.

Property advised the room booked was not available and up charge for other rooms was required if we wanted a room with a king size bed. I advised we would not be willing to pay up charge for a room with a king bed if they didn’t have the room we booked available. Within minutes the room “became” available.

Great hotel option if your heading to the BOA stadium for events. We were in town from FL to see the Dukes Mayo classic football game and had the pleasure of being in the same hotel as the Tarheel fb team. The Westin was a great choice!

Fabulous stay! We love Celeste!:)
Our stay was wonderful! Everyone was so kind, we slept like a rock, and we were in an amazing location. The highlight though was the sweetest woman we met at the breakfast restaurant, Celest. We have never met a kinder soul and wish we could bring her home with us. The breakfast was also to die for!

Everything was excellent, we were greeting warmly, checked in quickly, the room was clean and well maintained.
Hotel was beautiful!!!
The next morning the maid service woke us up at 9:00am to ask us when we were leaving and proceeded to knock every 10 minutes afterwards.
It was a bit ridiculous since check out was at 11:00am.
I paid a lot of money for this one night stay and was very disappointed to be rushed out of my room the next day.

The room is nice, great views of the city. There were some hitches in getting there though. We were told the valet parking was “full” however, when we parked there were quite a few empty valet spots. The checkin person couldn’t find our reservation despite my spelling last name for her. She was disinterested in helping us to resolve the issue. She had spelled our name incorrectly. This happens but I asked numerous times. Nickel and dime us…room wasn’t cheap.

The staff was great. I parked in the lot set beside the hotel for hotel guests and did not use the valet parking because my gps did not guide me to the hotel on College St, but on a side street. I arrived about 4:00pm and left about 10:30am the next morning. I was charged $56 for parking!!! for less than 24 hours. Maybe it would be less expensive to use valet parking! Also, I ordered oatmeal from room service. It arrived promptly and hot and was the best oatmeal I've ever had. Unfortunately, I ordered tea with breakfast, but did not specify what kind I wanted - a mistake. I needed caffeine badly, but chamomile was delivered.

Overall this was a very good hotel. I am a Bonvoy member which adds some extras like bottled water and free internet. I had to repeatedly remind them even after I had been told they had it in their system. Not a big deal just annoying.

Ive stayed here several times over the years and its always been great. But they used to have amazing comforters on there bed but now its just a thin blaket and sheets. Bring back the comforters.

Wonderful weekend in Charlotte
I had a wonderful experience this past weekend at the Westin Charlotte. From the moment I dropped off my car at valet to walking into the lobby with the beautiful, clean aroma. Check in was seamless, Kevin at the front desk greeted and helped me with a warm smile. Our room was very clean and up to date. Great city view. No noise. Bed was super comfy. Walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Excited to stay here again later this year!

They will knowingly take money out of your account and tell you it’s fees when you’ve already paid your fees when you check in. They took additional $253 out my account and for what!? Valet is only $35/night and I paid the $100 holding fee when i checked in so where is my money?

Stayed at the Westin for a weekend out. Restaurant, Starbucks, and bar on the ground level. Lots of other things in walking distance.
Be weary of parking charged more than posted… not sure why. Other than that nice place.

I liked the proximity to the Convention Center. Real convenient. Food selection was limited. Upon greeting me at arrival, I was immediately propositioned for $40 upgrade because I “assumed” (my mistake) was that the “upgrade” had something actually to do with the amenities or the room itself. The room I was given still had two double beds; and a mini fridge; non-smoking like I reserved. When I questioned the upgrade charge, I learned that the “upgrade” was for a room on the top (25th) floor with a view of the city. Almost laughable. I would have gladly paid for a serene view of an ocean or lake but $40 to open my drapes for a bunch of skyscrapers, cranes, and wrecking balls is absurd. $40 learning fee; not making that mistake again.

My wife and I enjoyed a great two night stay at the Westin Charlotte. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely choose to stay there again in the future.
