Worst hotel in paradise location
Receptionist was super lovely and very informative and wanted to help in any but unfortunately the room did not match. It was dirty with dead big bugs on the wall. There were red/brown splatter stains above beds and in blankets. The windows weren’t sealed fully and you could ever sound outside, ac took forever to kick in to make it cold. Bed was the worst part of it. You could feel every single spring and it was so uncomfortable to sleep on let alone only one sheet that you could see stained old mattress through. The pillows smelled and were flat.had to stack three of them to attempt some comfort and thank goodness I travel with my own pillow case. In order to get towels we had to bring dirty ones down to front desk to exchange and sign a form saying we did so. No extras. Would never choose to stay here again

No Attendant assistance for our baggages to and from the room. Site said Parking was included in the booking. Unfortunately, we weren't orovided that we had to park several blocks from hotel. The night front desk said they didn't have any while morning shift clerk they had several parking spaces for those who had reserved prior to arrival

I was traveling home and only needed a one night stay. Only one staff member was even remotely helpful. She was a middle aged local mahu woman. Very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff was awful. Everything was an inconvenience to them. A friend tried to drop of dinner for me and the front desk staff wouldn’t call my room. The room looked clean but linens were the bare minimum sheets and a scratchy blanket. Even worse we were bitten by mites or some other small bug. Hard pass on this hotel!

BAD!!! Do NOT stay here! There was drug paraphernalia in the hallway outside of our room, the entire stay. The room was not clean. They continued to charge our credit card for on going charges that were not ours forcing us to cancel that credit card! When I attempted to contact the manager, she is always in meetings, avoiding me. This place is an ongoing nightmare from the moment we set foot on the property! To be fair the front desk manager did finally reverse the last charge for linens that were stained prior to our check in after numerous phone calls and arguments.

Black mold on the ceiling above the shower, no hot water one morning, no staff at night so there was no one to talk to about the noise/arguing in the next room for 3 hours. The area around the hotel was great for food etc but I would definitely find a different hotel to stay at.

Incompetent, need to step up in sanitation.
The beds were very untidy, bedsheets not ironed, cockroaches under coffee maker and microwave, low water pressure in shower. Raised complaints and got a change in room. Stayed 3 nights but when I requested for cleaning of the room, change of beddings and towels, it was not done, and yet they indicated that it was done. So after along day of touring I found a dirty room with all the Trash from the previous day. I called for towels and was asked to go down and sign for them at the reception. Found a very rude and abusive night staff. She was so rude. I talked to day staff the next morning requesting again for the room to be cleaned when I went out, but still on coming back it wasn’t cleaned and the receptionist was now telling me that they didn’t clean it because it was cleaned the previous day which wasn’t correct. When I insisted they sent someone to change the bed sheets and towels, plus emptying the bins. That was all that was done for the cleaning leaving the sink in the bathroom not even touched. I was very disappointed.

In 7 days they only service the room once the towels were only exchange they wouldn’t give out an extra one.
Floors were dirty all the time, bedsheets were dirty from day one with stains all over it!
Couldn’t get another hotel in Waikiki other ways I would’ve left.

Great hotel for a great price!
The staff was amazing with so much Aloha! They were very helpful! The location was great. Walking distance to Waikiki beach, shopping, and restaurants. Would definiitely stay here again. The price was such an amazing deal! Well worth it!

I saw cockroaches in the room.
Front desk receptionist some had limited English skills.
Elevator went out and everyone had to walk flights of stairs to room in the dark. I had 20 flights to walk up

Terrible place. Some rude staff. We got what I would call a second rate room BECAUSE we booked on Expedia and they made that quite clear. Absolutely nowhere to hang clothes, not even a hook on a wall. Shampoo but no conditioner in an Expedia room. Although I saw it on a maid cart for another floor. Old chipped and marked furniture, only 1 bedside night stand. Old moldy curtains. Noisy window air conditioner. Shower water pressure not much more than a trickle.

Beautiful mountain view
It's more than I expected from a 2-3 star hotel. The view of the mountains from our 20th floor room is beautiful. The microwave and fridge were so helpful. Because I get hungry at midnight, I bring outside food or just pick up some food from 7eleven nearby. The bus stops are nearby, if you want to explore the city.

The hotel is absolutely dirty and filthy. Given I was on a budget and only had to stay one night before my cruise but never will I book something like this ever again. And they have a very wierd baggage hold policy. Since I wanted to visit Pearl Harbor early morning the next day, I asked the feont desk if they can hold our luggages. They said yes but if we're heading out before 9am, we would need to bring our luggages down the night before by 11pm. Since the front desk hours are from 9am-11pm. Thats such an inconvenience. I would have to carry my PJs and my toiletries with me on the tour. I have never experienced this kind of wierd policy. Stay away from here! Even though you're on a budget, don't let your body suffer. Absolutely worst hotel experience ever!

The front desk employees were awesome and very welcoming.
My original room that I had been assigned to has not met my criteria of a "Clean Room". Reason being I had done a walk through immediately it had raised concerns when the TV was on and blasting. I found that very odd. In addition to the TV being on the beds were unmade and had "used" bedsheets piled up in the corner. The floors were filled with debris. The bathroom looked as if it had not been thoroughly clean and missing a shower curtain.
I had then made a complaint to the front desk requesting a refund and she was kind enough to give me another room in which I was glad that she was willing to do that.
The second room gave me a sense of calm knowing that it was in fact thoroughly cleaned.
Overall it was a great experience and I am grateful that your front desk clerks were understanding and willing to make accommodations.

This hotel was not on the ocean, like the picture implied. It also had zero parking. In order to check in we had to park on the road. The gal said " just park ( under the no parking sign) like "normal people" ( kind of rude). The room was not the cleanest, fairly old, and the walls were paper thin. I did , however feel safe while we were there. The towels were thread bare, and I had to ask 2x for more, the first time I was denied more. For the price we paid, I was disappointed.

Unpleasant, dirty and bad mattress
You should bring used towels to the front so they can be replaced because they don't have enough of them. They can switch it to a cleaned one just once every day.
There was a Korean front desk staff. And I am korean too. She speaks korean very fluently but she doesnt have context on her conversation. And she was gaslighting and treat me what if my korean is really bad. What the hack,, I paid amenities fee and asked a receipt for my payment and she told me i only can get a receipt from the website where i booked. What the hack. There are more but it’s really annoying to commend all that i experienced with her conversation.
I stayed there as a customer I am not your neighborhood and I know I am younger than you but It doesnt mean you can look down on me. It was really uncomfortable to talk to her. I wonder she was trained properly as a customer service staff.

Jacuzzi - there are sand on the jacuzzi seat.
Bad mattress- it almost broke and sank.
Clean - I stayed there for 4 nights 5days. They never came to clean our room.

It's not a five star hotel. Some areas seem to have been updated (like the Internet access and Roku TV) but other areas are suffering from deferred maintenance (the knob on our bathroom door was so loose I was afraid it was going to come off).

Easy access to everything. No car is needed unless you plan on driving to the north/south areas of the island. Beach and all the shopping and and food places are just blocks away.

Didn’t expect for it to be the way it was. The beds were very uncomfortable(felt like you were sleeping in the bed springs) towels were very thin, no soap in the bathroom to shower with, windows kept clattering from the wind. Just all around not what I expected. Parking was a joke because it was cash only and no cash no discount. Wouldn’t recommend a stay here.

It started with the parking. The parking attendant was inconvenienced with doing her job, she had to finish her conversation with whoever she was talking to on the phone using her noise canceling headphones and when she finally decided to look at us she rolled her eyes and just straight up asked for money without even asking what we were paying for. Then yelled at us because she couldn’t hear us through the headphones she was wearing. As soon as we checked in the front desk the front desk wasn’t as friendly. Whilst telling us there “policies” of the property she just rammed through it like she was angry that we were there. We get to our room and all we can hear is our neighbor blasting the tv…the walls are paper thin. We could hear every burp, and even every fart from next door. I DO NOT recommend this place. Spend the extra hundred bucks to go somewhere else.

Staff at check-in were just lovely! Style of the hotel was nice. However, for such a location the room was in poor condition. Mold on ceiling in bathroom, fan in bathroom start to fall out / down, one of the windows kept opening a bit from the wind and wouldn’t close properly and room needed a deep clean.

The room was clean and it was nice having the mini fridge and microwave; no complaints about the room itself. The parking wasn't ideal as the parking structure was hard to get into when you first check in because you can't access it from the lobby area. House keeping only comes on the third night of your stay which is fine, however we stayed for 4 nights and they never came. Getting fresh towels was a chore as well as you had to walk your old ones down to the front desk in exchange for new ones. Overall, all I need on vacation is a clean bed and shower with air conditioning and this hotel provided that satisfactorily.

Least expensive I've found and still in the mix in Honolulu. The rooms are remodeled and really pretty nice. Nice views. Comfy. Clean. The common areas, hallways and amenities not so much. As with all Hotels in Honolulu; I am still not happy with the last minute amenity charge of $17.60 you must pay to get the key to your "pre-paid" room.

Would not stay here again. Firstly, a main reason we booked here was to have use of the pool when not at the beach. We arrived to find that the pool was closed for maintenance and not opening for a month. If this was scheduled - why were we not informed. Secondly, we had to use 1 set of towels for the beach and then again at home despite not having use of the pool. On check out we were told we could not use towels for the day even though we were checking into another room in the same hotel that night. The lady at reception was patronising and rude at times. Would not recommend staying here especially if you are not willing to put up with an old and poorly managed facility. Air con unit is less than 1m away from the head of the bed. Bed was made very badly and despite being comfortable - had a plastic protective layer which crinkles when you move at night. Massive disappointment

Room AC so old, could not see any of the control functions. No water in Hotel when we arrived. Pool closed due to unsafe conditions of hotel around pool. Homeless all over the neighborhood around hotel. Parking fee very high and not disclosed on website.

Unsanitary situation
When we checked in on Friday, we noticed the room wasn’t as clean as it could be. I didn’t notice anything that would really freak me out. At sometime during the night Saturday night when I rolled over the plastic cover over our mattress came off. The mattress pad underneath that was so disgusting and stained. It should never have been allowed on a bed in a hotel. We checked out Sunday on our planned day. If that had not been our plan day, I would have checked out anyway.
I told the manager as we were checking out and they asked us why we didn’t notify them earlier so they could rectify the situation and I told them I didn’t notice until overnight Saturday night. I showed her pictures of my dirty blanket and the stained mattress pad, and this mirror we found in the bathroom that we also had not seen before. She refunded my resort fee, but I wasn’t really looking for a refund. I wanted to know what they were going to do to make sure this didn’t happen to someone else. When I called back on Monday, she accuse me of unzipping the protective plastic covering over the mattress. All I did was roll over in my sleep and it came off. I am so incredibly disappointed by the response to our concerns.

All in all a great place to stay. Found the rooms huge and spacious, lots of places for storage and the location is great for those who will be using public transport/walking.
The bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff were nice and I enjoyed my stay.
The room was clean, slightly outtdated for those looking for luxury but I liked it.
May not suggest it for a long time as it can be noisy in the room from other people and outside, that started to get on my nerves. but its a good choice on a budget.
I was worried because of the bad reviews but it suited me just fine.
Wifi in the room which is great but had trouble locating wifi on the sundeck or the lobby so make sure you ask about how to get it if you need it outside the room.

Lumpy mattresses
The beds were awful. The first time I’ve staid at a hotel that had lumpy uncomfortable mattresses. We could actually see the lumps and unevenness of the mattresses. The T.V. Did not work.
The bathroom was nice though.

I was there for a week and they only came in to “clean” but they only did one bed. I had to go downstairs to get toilet paper and trash bags. almost every day because they had the cheapest toilet paper. Over all the place is not nice.

Worse hotel ever
Really outdated they clean rooms every 3 day so forget about asking for daily cleaning because they will say no to you if u need anything you have to go to the lobby and get it yourself you also have to take out your trash the parking is not part of the hotel and they charge you a late fee if your ticket expires when parked
Also big warning I went with friends and her room had bed bugs and instead of helping her they bladed her for the bugs and they tried to down grade her room and she had to argue with them to a room she booked and they gave her a room where the tv did not work instead of connecting her with a different hotel as they should do
The staff is really rude honestly safe your money stay somewhere else that is the worse hotel I ever stayed at even the towels I got for my room where dirty and had red stains it was very upsetting and uncomfortable

1) they downgraded our room upon check in - we had to call to ask them to give us the room we paid for.
2) terrible customer service and over all pleasantness of the staff at front desk
3) must valet car, we waited 45 minutes to get our car from valet cause they had a long line up but no option to self park so we were late for appointments

The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The hotel is rundown. While sitting on the toilet, water poured on my head from the vent above. They told me that the toilets and sinks are not sealed. This place is a mess.

It was very difficult to initially find the front desk as there are no signs pointing to where it is...the parking structure is run by a different company and although I was told on the phone by the hotel that it was $40, I was charged $45. It was also a very slow process as there is only 1 person there...took me 45 minutes to go through the process and park my car as there was 1 car in front of me.
Front desk is only open from 9 am - 9 pm...there is a 7-11 next door which helped with knick-knack stuff and there was food trucks across the street.

Stayed at property for a week, no housekeeping at all. No clean towels, sheets, garbage removal - but charged at $25.00 per day amenity fee. This is the 8th time staying at this hotel. I don't know what changed, but will never stay here again.

Overall everything was average except for the parking situation. It costs 45.00 usd to park a vehicle with validation from hotel on site. Ridiculous. I doubt I’ll be coming back for this reason.
