I stayed on New Year’s Eve with my husband and our dog. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The concierge out front from other hotels were rude about sitting in car in the front area during check/out.
The hotel was clean, but the room was pretty small for the price we paid. Overall good experience

If I could give this 100 stars I would. We came in the middle of the coldest day of the year, and over the course of the day as we were traveling I got sick. Like. SICK. I was in bad shape by the time we reached Chicago. The front desk lady was so kind, I explained the situation (we were a little early and I asked to possibly get in a little earlier) and she got us room immediately! They sent up blankets and helped us find a close spot to pick up medicine from my doctor. I was there for three days ultimately, and they checked on me and helped my friend find his way around the city for things. I will never stay anywhere else again. 100 stars!

The hotel is dated and priced accordingly. The location is amazing!!! Right on the river and super close to pretty much everything you would want to visit. The room coffee, although a luring machine, was lack luster. Their lobby coffee is different but very watered down. The service was awesome. Family like feel with their interactions. Door men were very attentive and maintenance man for out clogged shower drain was fast and friendly. I would definitely stay here again but maybe when it warms up more.

Room was so tiny no fridge microwave nothing but a bed and bathroom pretty much I also added the free parking to my stay for $30 a day and i still had to pay to get car out of parking garage stickers to get out for free didn’t work

Even a cheap Motel 6 allows guests the ability to set the temp in the room. it was 30 outside and the only option was heat on, or nothing. We couldn't get the room below 75. It was miserable. It was not a malfunction, the entire building is either HEAT or A/C. There was no way to get any fresh air in the room unless the heat was on. The staff did what they could, but the only option was to bring us up a fan. Oh, and you can;t even crack open any windows for fresh air. Miserable.

Great view and amenities for family travel
Best value for this prime location! We have stayed here as a family several times. The hotel is clean, staff is helpful and we love the bottle water and coffee machines. This last stay we had one of the best views. Pack n play available for our baby to sleep and microwave & refrigerator in the room make it easy for family travel.

I liked my stay the Club Quarters. Customer service at the front desk was very friendly and kind. However, there were some cleaning issues. There was a hair in the shower, some strange white marks on the office table and chair, and the sheets were stained. They weren’t heavily stained, it looked like it was an old stain that was probably hard to get out and it was easy to see it with white sheets. The hair in the shower was a little disconcerting to me. Told customer service through text and there were no apologies but they did send housekeeping to the room. Other than that, the room was nice and had a decent view of the city. Had a superior room, which I recommend if you do stay there because there's a fridge and microwave. I liked that it came with cutlery and plates. There was free complimentary water available for everyone located near the elevators on the floor. The room was quiet, not a lot of noise, sometimes I would hear loud noises outside but it’s a big city and the hotel is downtown and I think that’s unavoidable. I definitely liked the contactless check in/out, very convenient. Overall, probably wouldn’t stay there again because of the cleaning issues but it wasn’t horrible. Customer service was a great highlight.

I’ve stayed at Club Quarters in Philadelphia and knew right away I would want to stay here when it popped up on the list. One of the things I love is that in order to access the elevator you have to have a key card that you scan before you can press any floor buttons.
The only thing that was a pain, was trying to find a place to temporarily park my car so I could go check-in. When I tried parking anywhere along the curb (and that was within the vicinity of the other two hotels on either side of CQ) I was told by the valets of those hotels I would have to park somewhere else; there was a truck in front of CQ, loading large pieces of something, that took up at least two spaces worth of cars. I spent a good 10-15 minutes trying to circle back around the block through heavy traffic to find another spot.

Parking is less than a half a mile around the corner. Not too bad, but I had to make an adjustment. Everything else was perfect. I loved my stay! The staff was friendly and nice. The check-in was quick and easy even though they had a line. The line was gone in like two seconds.
I recommend this hotel because it's affordable with the option of a Riverview.

Great in some aspects and not great in others
It’s a cool hotel with a great location and great customer service! Also, if you pay for it, you can have an amazing view of the city and the river. However, the rooms themselves were not that great and did not feel clean. Plus the thermostat was not working properly and the air quality was not good and the beds are probably a 6.5-7.5/10 at best.

It was a great experience. We were able to check our bags early and then visit around the city. Staff was kind and courteous. My only complaint would be we didn’t know we had to put a card on file for a 100.00 deposit. Luckily we had it available without issues.

This hotel has amazing views and was within walking distance to most things we wanted to do in the city. The room was smaller than I expected and the bathroom wasn’t very nice. Great location, but the room could have been better and is very small. Good for a quick trip but I wouldn’t want to stay for an extended period of time.

Upscale hotel on the River. We walked along the river and had dinner nearby. We even had a view of the river from our room. When we got there, we upgraded to valet parking, since we didn’t want to walk the three blocks to the included parking. The lady who checked us in discounted it for us. It was a lovely stay!

The location was perfect to access places north of the river & south of the river. Incredible view from room on the 16th floor. However the shower water temperature was luke warm and it took a long time to get a lift at times as there are only two serving most of the floors.

The table in the first room I was assigned was visibly not wiped after the previous guest. I requested a new room due to the cleanliness issue, only to find that the toilet seat there had a piece of hair and drips of urine on it. They couldn't give me a new room and it took over 15 minutes for someone to come to clean the toilet--it was late, I was sleepy, had to pee, and wanted to shower. The carpet throughout the room also visibly neded vacuum cleaning. They promised some voucher for me to make this right but I received nothing. Either way, cleanliness is such a basic requirement in the hospitality industry. I will definitely not want to stay at any of their hotels after this absolutely terrible experience.

You only had one elevator working and your staff was also using it to clean rooms. Every time I needed to use the elevator the average wait time was 15 minutes. Completely unacceptable. This should be considered and emergency situation and fixed immediately. The number of people that were packed into each elevator ride was scary and unsafe. You should be ashamed to even have the hotel open in such a situation and you should be reported.

Clean hotel and right in the middle of everything but I hated the elevator situation there. We literally had to wait 30 mins for the elevator to come get us. Every time we went out it was the same thing, at one point we decided to take the stairs down. Very unhappy with that, so if you stay here be prepared to leave 30-40 mins before.

We loved our stay at Club Quarters Wacker! The hotel exudes 1920s character, but is spotlessly clean, modern, and comfortable. the view from our room was amazing, overlooking the river. the location was perfect, and the room was perfectly quiet and cozy despite being in the heart of the city. nice toiletries, water stations, and amenities too.

This hotel was awful! I’m absolutely shocked that I paid $300 for 1 night (before tax and fees) for a tiny, dirty room! The AC didn’t work so it was incredibly hot and there weren’t any water bottles offered in the room. There was hair on the bed before I even touched it and the sheets where stained. There was hair in the shower, stains on the carpet so much that I didn’t dare take off my shoes, and a disgusting, grimy shower curtain in the tiny bathroom. I’ve stayed in hostels much nicer than this! For $300 a night this is unacceptable. When I called to complain and ask for a room change, the person on the phone did apologize but said I had to go down to the front desk myself to switch rooms. No one offered to come to the room to inspect it or to help me move to a new room. I was thankfully given a new room, but on one checked on me once I was there either. The new room was clean but still small and smelled moldy. Still definitely not worth $300 for 1 night! When I checked out the next day, the person at the front desk had no idea about the room issues or change of room, so clearly there weren’t any notes in the system. Horrible customer service and experience! I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs! Oh and it’s the same hotel as the River Hotel, so avoid that too! They are the same building and same staff, just have different names for each side of the elevators for some odd reason.

Excellent Location for the price as Chicago Hotels are very expensive. You must book a River View Room. Rooms are very small and bathrooms are old but the location is excellent. Lovely lounge on the 1st floor and there is free coffee on the 2nd floor.

I was told I would have in and out privileges at the garage on 20 E. Randolph. I was sent a link to prepay for the privileges but the link had nothing about in and or privileges. No one at the garage was aware of such a thing. The other issue was one elevator was being used by the staff on Sunday 9/10 during checkout time. It took 30 minutes to get from the 12th floor to the lobby. I couldn’t take the stairs due to luggage. That being said, I still enjoyed my stay and will return when in Chicago.

I liked Club Quarters because of their attention to environmental abuse. They reduced some services to just the necessary for a comfortable stay. For example an option to clean the room every other day if so desired.

Amazing Location on River, Cozy Rooms, Affordable
Stayed here many times and the service is consistently good. The rooms are cozy size, comfy, and have an upscale style at a reasonable price for this coveted area on the River. Another bonus is how that the Corner Bakery is steps from the front door for a great breakfast to start the day. We also love walking over to the Emerald Pub for excellent Irish cuisine.

Really cool old world Hotel right in the center of everything. On the Chicago River at the north end of the Chicago Loop, everything is a short walk away. Will definitely return for another stay in the future.

Perfect location within easy walking distance of many attractions, restaurants and the picturesque bustling river walk. I selected a water view room which had a terrific view of the river. The support staff go out of their way to ensure a great experience. The complimentary laundry room including detergent was an added bonus. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The girl that was sitting people at the rooftop bar was very rude. She had no personality, and she did not know how to greet people. The bartender on the other hand on the rooftop bar was great.
