THE NOT SO GOOD.. Please be aware you'll pay a DAILY amenity fee - and I quote: for turning on the TV đź‘€, Keurig coffee in prefilled Kcups from yesteryear, prefilled creamer filled with preservatives from yesteryear, NO fridge, bottled water (and not the Acqua Finna from the lobby's fridge) Wi-Fi and bicycles. All of which I did not use. At the very least include it in the price with boutique quality amenities (fresh beans and a fridge to store creamers of all kinds)... Quality over Quantity. Not forced with subpar returns.

Very cold in winter - old leaky windows, and heating didn't work. Sound travels between rooms and hallway.
It is an old building that was nicely renovated on the surface but still has issues of an old residential building.

Comfy bed and clean room
The hotel room was very clean. They pay nice attention to detail with the decor. Many reviews said the bathroom was small, and I agree. However my husband and I were only there for one night, and he's 6'2. We were both comfortable, and he felt comfortable showering since the shower was more spacious. Because of the size of the room it's great for a long weekend or a 2 day trip!

This was one of my favourite hotel rooms on my recent travels through the US! Really cute decor, very clean, large comfortable bed and cosy bedding. Coffee and coffee machine provided, and robes which is just a really nice touch! It was very quiet, even though there is a bar underneath the hotel - you cannot hear this in the room.
Walking distance to everything Back Bay has to offer, and close to public transport.
I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again when I next go to Boston.

Just stay here!
Great location and the staff was amazing. The room itself was small but clean and had everything you would need including cozy robes and blankies. The bar was a lot of fun in the evening, as well.

This hotel was very clean, modern and convenient to walk to most things in the Boston area. Lots of great restaurants in the area and their restaurant was great too! Lovely staff and great little touches that make this hotel fun. And it was quiet. We were on the 6th floor but the street was quiet too.
It is on the small side but very comfortable and clean. We just had a broken lotion dispenser but that was okay.

A three city East Coast vacation
The NYC stay at the Mint hotel was excellent. Room was surprisingly spacious and the location was so convenient for walking or catching the subway. The Staypineapple hotel in Boston was also great. In contrast the room was cozy and comfortable. Looking forward to the Tabard Inn next.

This was truly a welcoming property staringvwith a complimentary beverage and two wat water bottles in the room. It was clean anf i loved the yellow robes and the cute stuffed dog on my bed. It is lard back, efficient, and comfortable. Love it!

Great charming hotel!
We booked 4 rooms, just for one evening after attending a family wedding the day before.
The rooms were spotless, cozy, and the shower was roomy and great water pressure.
Had brunch at the Trophy Room the following day.
We all loved it and will definitely return.
We’ve been so disappointed lately with the big chain hotels and unkept buildings.
This felt a real swanky boutique hotel and we all loved everything about it!!

affordable hotel stay with elevated amenities
Really enjoyed our stay! Super comfortable beds, nice large tv and even though the room is small it’s very functional. Adorable but classy decor on theme. The room was super clean. The only not so great things were the particular room we had was right next to the entry door from the hallway, so anytime someone entered our floor there was the loud bang of the door. Also a lot of light came into the room through the door & the walls, baseboards and furniture were a bit scuffed up. But we were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Loved having free water bottles provided. Also because I was concerned before staying here, I want to mention the bathroom. It is small especially the sink but again very functional and the shower has plenty of room. I was expecting a much smaller shower so I was happy about that. I would describe this as an affordable hotel stay with elevated comfort and design. Would be interested in staying at other staypineapple locations.

Excellent boutique stye hotel. Located in upscale South End close to the the Edgar Allen Poe residence. Location was superb. Steps to Copley Sq. And the best of Back Bay shopping and great restaurants. Can’t bet the price.
Only issue is your on your own for parking.

I was locked out of my room when the keypad broke. They had no other options apparently than to saw a hole in the door and take the keypad out. Since they were sold out, I had no choice but to sleep in my room with a giant six inch hole in the door. I would NEVER stay here again. Imagine if there were kids/medical emergency and they can't get in. They offered nothing and I am trying to get refunded through Expedia now. The kid behind reception was no help and didn't know what to do. It was a terrible experience and I waited two hours for them to saw the door and finally got in after 11pm. It was horrific in all accounts. I wish I could attach photos here.

It's a great little hotel in a good location. It has style and smart little touches. The two small downsides for me were 1) controlling the room's temperature - either the AC froze me, or I sweltered when I turned it off, and 2) the beds had duvets instead of sheets & blankets, which I much prefer.

Very little bang for quite a bit of buck
This place is tiny. Think tiny--and then prepare for it to be even smaller than that. No closet. The bathroom has a shelf over the sink so that you can't brush your teeth. Doors and walls are so thin that you can hear everyone slamming their doors on your floor. The hotel bar downstairs plays loud bassy music that you can hear easily from your room. Only opaque window covers--nothing sheer so you can get light in but still have some privacy. No parking facilities.

This was a great property. The room was small but it had such fun amenities like the StayPineapple stuffed dog , Dash and the comfy bathrobes. Location was nice to walk to various restaurants. The bedding was very comfortable.

Great view from the 8th floor, had coffee and tea available in the room with a nice coffee machine. We called maintainance to check the radiators as they were on non-stop and we were assured that it was fixed and they should be connected to the thermostat however, temperature controls weren't working so it was quite cold during our stay. The gap under the doors was huge so we could hear everytuing from the hallways, including early morning cleaning and late night slammed doors. There was no way of turning the bathroom vent off so it was on for the entire duration we were there, not very eco-friendly. When we checked in we were charged a refundable deposit however we were not told how much this would be or if they just took the card details to charge us in the future. We also were not told that it would take a few days to get the money back once checking out. Better customer service at checkin would have solved this

Very convenient for our Boston Marathon trip. We were able to walk to bus loading, finish line/expo, and plenty of restaurants. Our room was right above their restaurant (Trophy Room) so I was a bit nervous about the noise at night, but honestly couldn’t hear it. Room was tight, but plenty of storage and tabletop areas to place items. We would stay here again!

WE LOVE THIS CUTE HOTEL!!
My daughter and I stayed here during a school tour. The location is perfect for walking everywhere! We love just about everything about this hotel!!:
1. Check in was super easy. Friendly and helpful staff.
2. All the water bottles you need and coffee as part of the $15/night resort fee. We drink a lot of water, so this is great! And they give you 2 vouchers for free assorted beverages from the fridge in the lobby.
3. The room is sooooo adorable!! The bed is amazingly comfortable and the split comforter is perfect! We slept really good. Very clean room!
4. Being able to cast my streaming services to the TV is very nice after a whole day of activities. I hate logging in on hotel TVs and making sure to remember to log out.
5. The Trophy Room restaurant by the lobby serves delicious food, a nice bar, and the music was awesome!!
6. The bathroom has nice products.
Here are just a couple of downsides but certainly not a deal breaker for us:
1. The room is small. Remember that this is a boutique hotel. However, we had plenty enough storage for the 2 nights we stayed.
2. A very large person may have difficulties maneuvering in the bathroom because it is tight even for myself and my daughter (we're both petite), but the shower area is good enough size. Just getting in and out may be hard for a larger frame person. The sink is also very small, so having the floor towel is important when washing your face.
We will definitely stay here again!

Very cool hotel, area is perfect, about halfway between Back Bay and Downtown Boston, everywhere is walkable.
Parking is a bit tricky, it's possible to find a free spot but not easy, especially during the week.
Paid parking options are expensive otherwise. Room was small but had all we needed.

My boyfriend and I saw a metal show at The House Of Blues and needed to stay a night in Boston. Stay Pineapple was about a 10 minute drive from the venue and was the cheapest out of all the other brand name hotels. The hotel was small but very homey. Only complaint is that they don’t have their own parking lot so we had to park in a parking garage overnight then walk about 10-15 minutes to the hotel in 30° weather. Also the room was a little small but was perfect for one night. Overall it was a very nice stay, bed was comfy. Just wish there was onsite parking.

We loved the very cozy bedding. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We took the train from Phila and this was only a short walk from the train. We loved the availability of the bicycles and used them in the morning to ride along the river. Our room was spotless and although small definitely had everything we needed and then some. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Gave great suggestions of where to bike ride and where to have breakfast (The Friendly Toast). We could not have asked for more. Thanks you to the staff who assisted us we would love to come back and stay again. And I hope to purchase those duvet and covers soon. I slept soundly, ohhh so comfortable, Great place to stay in Boston.

Let me start by saying I love staying on the Staypineapple hotel properties. I was a little disappointed with this location. There is no parking at the hotel. Also, they don't have the air condition on in the hotel so the room was very hot. When I said something at the desk he said "It won't be turned on for a couple of weeks. You can open a window." So we opened the window slightly the second night. We were either too cold (because it was cold outside) or too hot. For how much I'm paying a night I shouldn't have to open a window.

When I entered the room I was pleasantly surprised thinking the cool bed blankets would conjure pineapple farries to spread them open and drop pineapple stardust. The room was very clean and had all we needed including a good TV. The shower was great. The only downside was that the ac/heat was not adjustable, so the room was over 70 degrees. We opened the window and surprisingly it was quiet outside and worked well to cool the room.
I didn't use the Internet and I didn't love the extra charges. They charge $65 and refund $50 if the room is left in good condition. Plus you get $10 in drink credits.

The staff was very helpful at check-in, giving lots of info about amenities. The room is compact, which was fine for me as a single traveler. It might be tight for two people but it has an efficient use of space. The bed is very comfortable and the lush pillows and individual duvets were clean and warm. There are 2 drawers under the bed, a couple of cubby holes for suitcases, shoes, etc. Instead of a closet, there are several sets of hooks and hangers, which worked fine for a stay of a few days. The free robes were very welcome. The bathroom is small but had I needed, with a large, walk-in shower and eco-friendly dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and lotion. So nice not to have those wasteful little bottles. The TV is large, and there is a Keurig machine with various coffee/tea options, with real mugs and real glasses. Refills were easy to obtain from the desk. Due to COVID, there was no daily housekeeping service, but I didn't need that and extra towels were offered. The pineapple theme played out through the hotel, with fresh pineapple water available in the lobby. I used other restaurants than the one in the hotel, but it seemed to have an active sports bar theme. Even so, it was so very quiet in my room. I would definitely go back.

Adorable room! Small but plenty big enough for what we needed. Great to have plenty of coffee and bottled water in-room. Fantastically decorated and we loved the pineapple touches everywhere. The MOST comfortable bed we have ever slept in. We were in a corner room and could hear a lot of street noise, however I love the sounds of the city so that was a bonus for me--but it may be a bit too loud for others. I think the inside rooms (rather than corner rooms) would probably be quieter.

The Hotel was very nice - the staff was very friendly and took care of us. The hotel was by a great little breakfast place called -Billy’s - nice people and great food and prices. To get on the “T” was only about 3-4 blocks away - very nice walk to it. The only downfall to the hotel was bathroom was a little small/shower was very nice though.

Nice and clean, European style for our small room that had a lot of clever ways to utilize the space. Only issue was the window was closed but had a very active cold breeze through it into the room as well as provided no noise insulation. The bed and the robes they provided were comfy!

Delightful experience. Uniquely decorated. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Soft towels. Scent of provided body wash, shampoo, body lotion in dispensers were a very pleasant scent. Quiet. Beach cruiser bikes available.The only difficult part was getting a parking spot. You have to park on the street & spaces were hard to come by.
Restaurant & bar were not open because of covid, but we were told there are places within walking distance. We arrived fairly late, and left by 10 the next morning, so no exploration of neighborhood. We would stay there again.
