It is not expected for a vacation club to be one of the very few hotels that have their pool area closed. Also the rooms facing the street are extremely noisy. Our request for a room change was answered with a smile and the usual excuses. Hotel was greatly over-priced due to 4 conventions in the city...definitely not worth it...!!!

I was really disappointed that the pool was not open. I never would have stayed here if I would have been made aware of that. Also there was no recycling bins I. Our rooms so everything went in the garbage. We really enjoyed the adjoining rooms we had. It was beautiful.

What a beautiful hotel, and I enjoyed it not having a casino. It was a smoke free environment starting from the lobby. Easily accessible to walk to the stripe without having to be outside connected to Planet Hollywood. I would stay here again

Only complaint I had was the “computers are down” routine come back trying to check-in, but in the mean time I’m pointed to another employee trying to up sale some Vegas shows / gambling credit if I take a tour of a room. They were obviously trying to get us to buy into having a timeshare or a large purchase.
Other than that, hotel smelled great, staff was great, casino (PH) close by, and the connection to the miracle mile shops was great. Room was big, (1BR, king suite). Easily fit the (4) of us with ease.

Enjoyed our stay here
We had a junior suite that worked out great for my sisters get away. Room was nice, view was great, staff was helpful, we got free bottled water every day. I liked the security of having to use your room key to get into the elevators. We had a nice stay there. Only complaint was no chairs in the room with sofa - just weird little stools. Overall very pleased with our accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay. I love the fact that everything is convenient. The mall is connected to the hotel. The monorail is positioned right behind the hotel and it’s not far from all of the main attractions also not far from Fremont St., the original Las Vegas. 5 stars ⭐️

Close to the VEGAS strip.
Booked a Premier room and qualified for an upgrade and they gave us a handicap room.
Staff was nice/nasty pleasant but not by choose!
It was an ok stay but wouldn't stay here again because of the treatment!

The worst customer service I have received in all my years of travel. The hotel and team had zero sympathy for a situation that was totally out of our hands. They were not helpful in any way...avoid staying. Would never recommend.

I liked the friendly staff. The room was comfortable and nice. The kitchenette was very useful.
I did NOT like all the add-on fees on an already expensive room!! Parking at $18.00 a night and a resort fee is ridiculous!! The room service was non-existent. Each day we turned on the clean room light and nothing happened. We asked at the front desk and they guaranteed the room would be cleaned on the 4th day. This did not happen. Much better value when we were last at the Elara! Very disappointed

MY WORST HOTEL STAY
I feel compelled to share my horrendous encounter to save others from the same nightmare.
Privacy Invasion Nightmare: ★☆☆☆☆
We were assigned a room with a full window facing the parking lot. Little did we know, it was like staying in a fishbowl for everyone outside to see. Attaching the photo from the parking lot to the room - upper stairs of the parking lot have a more direct view of the room. Attempting to change clothes became a public spectacle, thanks to the complete lack of privacy.
When we complained, the staff were shockingly unresponsive. A man ogling into our room was the last straw, and the hotel's indifferent attitude towards our basic right to feel safe was absolutely appalling. Requests for a room change were met with bureaucratic runarounds, and we had to hound them relentlessly for any updates. Absolutely disgraceful!
Pathetic Room Service Excuses: ★☆☆☆☆
The incompetence reached new heights with the abysmal room service. On day one, we were told our room was skipped because we allegedly asked for mid-week cleaning during check-in—an outright lie. Day two, the room was ignored again, with the excuse that we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign up at 11:47 AM. Utter nonsense! We were out by then, with a clear request for room cleaning. The lies and negligence were infuriating.
I can confidently say I will NEVER set foot in this dump again. Hilton Grand Vacations Club Elara Center Strip failed to meet even basic standards of decency and professionalism.

I love my stay at the hotel but I was located near the parking lot which i didn’t like due to that’s not what I booked for . The check in was very slow was standing in line for hour and half . The overstay was good quiet smell cleaned. The rooms are huge and very nice.

We had a cool view from our room, including Sphere, some of the hotels and a portion of the Strip. Had a clean and spacious bathroom with a washing machine. TVs are not smart but the free and extensive cable is a nice feature. Security and mandatory scanning of room keys just before the elevators made it feel safer than any hotel I’ve stayed at. The suite also had a nice kitchenette, fridge and dishwasher.

I was really impressed by how elegant and luxurious this hotel is especially considering it’s a family style hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with my family of two adults and two children. The room was updated and clean with plenty of amenities such as washer and dryer, full kitchen, comfy bed and sofa bed for my teen. It was also really quiet. We couldn’t tell if anyone else was on our floor or above. I love the elevator system although it was confusing at first. It’s in an excellent location connected to the mall on the strip. We hardly ever drove. My only issue was our room was on the sixth floor facing the parking garage. The front desk said it was the highest room they had at the time we checked in since the hotel was sold out for the Christmas holiday. If you want a good view I suggest trying to get a room at least above the 10th floor maybe. Overall, even with an unpleasant view, I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was as perfect as could be! We stayed in the two bedroom queen suite on the 50th floor. The views were gorgeous and the room was beautiful. Perfect for our family of five. Enough space for our kids to run around without driving us parents crazy. Lol We will definitely be staying here again! The close proximity to Planet Hollywood, Shopping, dining, and casino was perfect.

I was very disappointed in the staff at the Hilton Elara. I was not told that the washer in the room took 2 hours to wash clothes on a quick rinse. I also was not told that there was a laundry room the 4th floor.
I only found out about the laundry room because my clothes were stuck in the washer and I could not get them out because maintenance stated that my washer was a steam washer. Also on my stay housekeeping cleaned my room but did not refill my shower gel in the shower. I did not find out until after I was in the shower and by that time I was all wet and had to wait for housekeeping to come up and refill my shower gel. The hotel was clean, and in a prime location. I would love to stay here again provided staff is more forthcoming about the amenities here.

I paid a lot of money for a suite and the checkout on a Monday was 10am with No extended checkout. I have stayed in some of the nicest hotels in the world and not ONE has ever not given me a extended checkout till at least Noon. LAME! Besides that the sink was clogged and made noises all night long. It was a bit of a let down. Next time we are in town we will go elsewhere.

The rooms were very clean and likely a fresh remodel. Beautiful view of the Sphere and city scape. The bathroom fan was on constantly and quite loud. I could not negotiate the coffee maker as it appeared to be part normal/part Keurig…had to go to Starbucks every day. No room maintenance of any kind during our 3-day stay. I had to get TP off the cart one floor down. The elevator service was slick. We enjoyed the direct indoor connection to the mall and restaurants. Very hard to get in and out of the hotel otherwise. I would stay here again, as the price was reasonable and the location good.

We absolutely loved this property! It was clean, quiet and no casino smoke! It’s also conveniently attached to the planet Hollywood shops with a million shops and lots of restaurant options. This will be the only place I stay in Vegas now.

The hotel is conveniently located (attached) to the Miracle Mile shopping center. It has a large and beautiful lobby with a bar and a Starbucks. Everything on the strip is within walking distance, so no car rental needed if your trip is just for the strip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay at the hotel again.

very modern furnishings, clean, quite, easy accessible to the adjoining Miracle Mall and Planet Hollywood.
Parking was a little dicey because the roads were still messed up due to the Formula 1 Races thru the Strip. Unable to use the pool, unless you were an IceBerg, very cold weather, not suitable for walking around on the Strip.
Would look into staying there again if priced competitively with other Locations such as South Point.

The room was quite noisy and I called my first morning and was brushed off as noise from outside. Eventually, we were told that we were near/under the weight room. We could not get a restful night sleep during our time there. We were not offered another room until hours before our departure.

I found Hilton Elara when searching for a hotel near Formula 1 that wasn't an arm and a leg. The Elara was the nearest hotel to the track, though quite a walk to the gate. However, the Elara is amazing. From the lobby, the guest elevators put you right at the escalator to go down for Ubers and Taxi's. Easy access to restaurants, since Elara has only a Starbucks and bar. I highly recommend the Elara. And will easily plan to return here. It's an awesome location to other large casino hotels, which I don't care for. Thank you Hilton for an amazing stay.

Clean, friendly staff. Close to everything which is great. Do be prepared to be offered “free events” during your check in. It’s a timeshare facility and of course they are looking to sell you something (and I knew that upon booking), but it did get annoying really quick. I just found ways around them, but everyone was super friendly and the rooms are really nice. Would stay again

Great property, comfy beds and nice size rooms. The only reason for the 4 star is that the pool was closed. Also, we did not like being stalked to become "owners". This is a timeshare property, just beware. Conveniently connect to a mall with dining options and Starbucks in lobby. Free water every day at reception counter. Walkable to strip (5Min)

The room we got was blowing away our mind! Its huge, with wall size TV projector, amazing Las Vegas night view, huge jacuzzi, large bathroom with the most luxious remodeling, full kitchen with top-notch appliances and everything you need for cooking and dinning. Love it! Love it!, Love it!

The property is conveniently next to the Miracle Mile Shopping and Planet Hollywood. The restaurant selection is diverse as well. My wife and four kids would definitely stay their again during the SEMA convention.

Nice place. F1 disruptions.
The location was great. The room was nice size and clean. The internet was down for 2 days and when it was working it was very slow. Due to F1 race in 2 weeks, city was torn up with scaffolding, road blocks and detours. Many of the sidewalks and pedestrian bridges were blocked off in front of the hotel due to construction of seating and suites for the race.
The hotel pool was closed which was not disclosed prior to our arrival. I always check. While there, watched construction cover up the pool with plywood and set it up for a concert venue for the F1 race. No real restaurant on site, but many within walkable distance.

Body wash bottle fell off of shower wall.
Bath tub wasn’t draining properly, (but was fixed later)
Despite having our “make our room” light on for three days, service never came.

We showed up to the hotel at 11 am and they could not accommodate early check in, that was fine with us, but we had to go downstairs and outside to drop our bags until our room was ready . They took our number and we received a confirmation by text we would be notified when the room was ready. Went back 4 hours later at 3 as we never received a text. Our room had been ready for a while, they couldn’t explain why we weren’t notified. We had a two bedroom, the room was very nice, no complaints there. The most disappointing thing was the pool. It was small, no atmosphere at all, very few loungers, service at the bar was so slow we didn’t bother to go back. Location was great, we don’t like day clubs, but some music and activity and atmosphere at the pool while in Vegas is a must. If you like a fun pool this is not the place for you, if you want a great location and room, it’s a great spot. Staff were hit and miss, some very friendly, some not at all.

While staying here for 6 nights. I’ve encounter a terrible experience with there service. My room key had to be replaced 4 or 5 times because it was not working properly for my room door. Sunday night I was locked out of my room for about 2 hours standing outside my door waiting for security and engineers to get my door open because no keys worked on the door. This forced me to cancel my evening plans because my personal belongs were still inside my room. When I checked out my room I asked to speak to mgr about the situation. No mgr came out, front desk lady said the mgr will comp $50 off of resort fees. Because of my schedule I didn’t have time to go back and forth about a higher comp since I stayed in a suite for 6 nights and paid over 2,000 for there suite plus another $200 in resort fees. $50 off resort fees for being inconveniently locked out of room for 2 hours because of the hotel technical difficulties let’s me know management does not care about new guests or hospitality.

The rule for no outside food or drinks was not posted. We were not allowed to eat or drink our purchase because of this non-posted rule.
Life guard staff was rude when letting us know about this rule. Security agreed with our position.
