Well-located downtown motel
We had considered booking a motel out on the highway and bypassing Pensacola but we were so glad we came downtown to this clean and comfortable property. There was a warm welcome which was much appreciated after a long drive from New Orleans. Pensacola centre is charming, with many places to eat and all within a short walk from this motel.

We liked the 1959 architecture of the building. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Happy hour was a nice bonus and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely motel w free parking and wifi in downtown. Quiet. Clean and super cute! We were impressed! The front desk employee, Justin, was funny, helpful and such good vibes! The lobby decor is stylish af and actually matches my own furniture at home so I was loving it and was taking photos with my bff while we enjoyed their free happy hour… I can’t believe what a gem of a spot downtown this place was, don’t ever change Sole!

What a treasure! Perfect location for shopping and eating out. The rooms are small and older, but definitely clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They have this beautiful patio area that is like a hidden oasis in the city. We enjoyed the happy hour reception, sitting on the patio drinking a glass of wine and listening to the water feature. The breakfast bar was also very nice, stocked with plenty of breakfast bars, orange juice, water and coffee. We will absolutely be back. 💯

Lovely one evening trip for a wedding in Pensacola. Check in and check out was super friendly and the room was as expected. Bed was a little soft so careful if you have a sensitive back! Overall we had a great experience!!

We love this property and stay there every time we go to Pensacola for an event at the Saenger Theater. This stay was challenging. The AC unit was really loud (Room 112). My wife described it like a train. It was a warm night and the AC was needed. It woke me up every time it came on.
Not to worry. We are headed back in Nov. Hopefully this was a fluke.

This was the first hotel that offered daily servicing of our room. Fresh towels made our day. They offered a continental breakfast and happy hour. We met 2 couples from Mobile, AL at these times. We found many good restaurants nearby.

Amazing Place to Stay in Historic Pensacola
This location was perfect for us to attend something at the Saenger Theater. It was right within walking distance of everything. It was so clean and the staff was so nice. We definitely will be back

As an older property, I was impressed! We went to a concert at the Saenger Theater and stayed here because of its proximity to it. The dining and bar options just a short walk away were mind-blowing! This older district is teaming with bars and dining options. The staff was very friendly and their lounge area across from the lobby, with its soothing water feature, was amazing. I wish it would have been cooler so we could have to taken advantage of it.

This hotel is situated in an area we frequent. The downside on this trip was the extremely noisy air conditioning unit. The staff was nice when I told them how it impacted our sleep (or lack of), and said they'd have changed our room. But we got back to the hotel at midnight, and they were fully booked. However, they did say they would refund part of what we paid. Will see how that goes.

This property has a lot of potential because of the location. However, they have not updated the outside or inside in what appears .. since the 90’s. You have a courtyard with a headless mermaid, hotel room walls stain and need to be repainted.. the shower literally disgusting with mold and broken tile.. charging $200-300 night ? We were horrified with the conditions.

Very nice staff! I thought the complimentary wine was super nice, although we didn’t make it. The bathroom needs a facelift and deep clean. Bathroom light bulb was out. Bedding had stains. They mention a free breakfast but it’s only granola bars, fruit cups, and store bought muffins. We ended up having to go out for breakfast. I believe they’re going in the right direction for this place, it just needs a little extra help. Great customer service though!

Motel at best
Room was clean beds comfortable. Environment was clean but location is not good. It is not near the dining or shops on Palafox. We were placed in a room by the ice machine. Yes ice machine on the second floor outside of our door. I love the midnight runs for ice. Noisy hotel for being right on N Palafox which is a busy street. The hotel has a strict noise policy that you sign when you check on but it didn’t state you couldn’t get ice all night long.
The breakfast was free but not breakfast. It was some packages of small muffins and fig bars. Someone was smoking their holy grail weed outside of our room most of the time we were there. The housekeeper had a cigarette in her hand every time I saw her. She looked like she smoked 4 packs a day. This motel is not worth the price charged for the room.

Place was fairly rundown and I would say cleanliness could have been better. It seemed cars filled the parking lot even if they weren't staying at the hotel and there was nothing we could do. The hotel parking lot's exit was blocked and I had to drive over the curb to get out.

It was OK. It was basically your run of the mill 3-story, outside facing motels that's had a fresh coat of paint on it and a fancy sign. Nothing special and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH OVER $200/NIGHT.

Older property with charm and very well kept up. Complimentary happy hour, waters, coffee & tea and a few basic continental breakfast items. Daily cleaning service. The only thing we did not like is the lack of towel hooks and vanity space.

An old school, nicely renovated property, with direct open to the outside rooms. Neatly restored, friendly staff, and great location for downtown activities within walking distance.
But absolutely almost zero insulation from outside street noise. Let me say again...this property is LOUD. Being conveniently located has as a trade-off being at a busy downtown intersection with a LOT of street noise. As such, the rooms are greatly overpriced, in my opinion.

A bit disappointing
So our room had a pile of used towels in the closet when we checked in. It was taken care of quickly by the very nice gentleman who helped us. He was the best! Always asking if we needed anything and very friendly. Our room was right by the outdoor soda machine which woke us up twice by people standing there getting drinks and just hanging out by the machine talking in the wee hours of the night.
Location of hotel was good, right in downtown. Happy hour drinks were a nice touch but overall it was a bit disappointing. Probably won’t stay again.

The hotel looked decent in the advertisement with nice pictures of the rooms, lobby and outdoor lounge area, but it was very, very basic. If this hotel was less than $100, I would have provided a better rating. But for $180 per night with all tax and fee, this was very disappointing as you can get much better hotels for this amount.

Clean, comfortable. The bed was soft enough but firm enough. You got a set of pillows of different thicknesses which I was able to sleep comfortably on. Very reasonably priced. I also appreciated the vending machine full of items you would need traveling so not have to go to the store (deodorant, toothpaste, etc).

Very friendly staff. Room was clean, comfortable beds, well-kept room. Quiet for the most part, outside of a Harley or two out on the road, suggest ear plugs, and an eye mask if you need darkness when you sleep. I would stay here again, quick drive to the airport, near neighborhood, easy walk to shops and restaurants.

Check-in was very easy. Orbitz had provided all the information and Sole' was ready. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The shower needed attention.
Drain cover was loose and shower caddy swayed not holding soap, shampoo or razor.
The room was about $50 less a night than others close by for a reason but I would stay again.

Last minute reservations, walking into hotel lobby I thought this was not going to be good, getting to the room I was very surprised room and sheets were clean. All we needed was a place to lay are head to get some much needed sleep and some coffee in the morning. Bed was comfortable and coffee was good.

The property is old and could use some improvement. Shower was leaking, it was wet when I arrived and I actually decided not use it as I was only staying for one night. The downtown location is very convenient, easy walk to restaurants and entertainment.

Great downtown location. A comfortable walk to various bars and restaurants. In the morning we took a walk to the bay and stopped at nearby donut shop, Parlor Doughnuts.

1st let me say the customer service in person was good . However, my bed was very uncomfortable. Both bed were caved and bowls in . Like them springs gave out . We tried . Looking at the bed you can see the drip. My husband went to front desk and got our room changed at midnight .
After changing rooms, we discovered a dirt shower , blood on the comforter , filmy/moist carpet that left our feet and socks sticky. It was like the people that stayed before definitely was at beach and soiled the room. Omg . At the point we just went to sleep bc it
