Love my little hideaway!!
Love this spot, been here multiple times. Short walk to beach, pool nice and warm. Great bars and food within 10minute walk. Or take the FREE shuttle available on the island. Will be back!

This place was great, friendly staff, great location, lots of amenities, close to the trolley stop. They had beach towels available and had plenty of games to use at the location. The only reason not five stars, was the bathroom sink was tiny, no counter space, and found a big black wasp looking bug in the room. I was able to kill the bug and were fine. The sink was not a big issue but made morning routine a little difficult. Otherwise everything else was great!

There was a private entrance to the ocean roughly 400’ from the entrance and a clean, warm pool with plenty of lounge chairs. The people were very friendly and the staff were great. We had a car, although if needed there was a trolley that went to a shopping and dining spot with a ton of restaurants.

The room and pool are very clean. The beach is a short walk away. Only bummer is that unless you purchase a chair at the beach there is very little room to spread your towel and hang out.

Misleading and dishonest motel information
Misleading information. There is NOT a private pool. It’s shared by 6 motels and small. There is NOT a private beach. The beach is run by private companies that you must rent their chairs from or sit on the outer perimeter or in the water. Misleading and dishonest.

Great little hidden gem for any occasion, romantic or family, or girls relaxation weekend. Rooms are a little small for multiples. Rooms need some updates, but very comfortable and many kitchen items to make your stay easier. A short walk to the beach and that makes a great stay

We have stayed here before and will stay there next year. The staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained and clean. Walk to the beach with towels they supply. Highly recommend this property.

More than happy with the stay
Our stay was awesome. Jack was incredible and friendly. Our room had everything we needed and it was clean. Everytime we met the staff outside they always asked if we needed anything.
Location is great too, you can walk to restaurants, market, shops

Had a cool old Florida vibe but with updated rooms. Great to have the small kitchenette and outdoor grill to save from eating out. Easy access to a beautiful beach. Helpful front desk staff. Only negative would be some noise in the evening from other guests sitting outside and smoking. But wasn’t every night and they were nice people. Will book again.

Outstanding!
This was our second stay and already planning our third! My family loves this place. Location is perfect, rooms are comfortable and cleaning, and the vibe is relaxing. The full kitchen and outdoor grills actually help save money on the overall trip costs by not eating out every meal. The kids love the games set out and every detail is thought out. Seriously a hidden gem that holds so many good memories for our family.

I had reserved a king size room. When we checked in they said the room wasn’t available due to plumbing issues. I wished they would have called us so we could decide what to do. So they put us in a 2 bedroom suite (which was nice) but only for 2 days. Then we had to move to a queen room which was terribly small, for 2 days. Then we got to our king room for 2 days. Would not recommend this place!

The property is easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and bars. The rooms are very comfortable and outfitted with basic amenities. The common area is attractive and has games and barbecue available to keep one entertained between pool and beach activities. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

Best place to stay in Siesta Key.

Our second stay was substandard but we made it work. The room only slept 2 and we had 3 of us. We were offered an air mattress for our daughter. It was only one night so we accepted. We were not offered any discount.

Everything about our short visit was outstanding. Check in very smooth. Call ahead to verify arrival. Room was spacious and clean. Kitchette was complete. We stayed in the “Getaway” suite. Courtyard has table tennis, bocce ball, grills and lounge areas with fire pit. Very well maintained. Resort also has laundry and ice machines. Beach is only a short walk away, and instructions given at check in for beach chair rentals. The beach is simply beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you stay here

Pleasantly surprised
I booked Capitva Beach Resort last minute and was pleasantly surprised. The location on Sara Sea Circle was very tropical with the beach close by. It is walking distance to a few shops, restaurants and bars, and the free trolley to Siesta Key Village is also close by. I plan to return for a longer stay!

I was very please with the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff. The room appeared to be newly remodeled.
It was a short walk to a very beautiful beach. The pool was just a few feet away from our room and it was very nice.

Great spot with tons of amenities! Check in was smooth. We didn’t use a lot of the amenities, except for the washer. It was nice to have it available, although a lot of clothes still came out partially dirty, so I don’t think it quite worked. (There is a private beach for hotels in that area, but make sure you’re on the right private beach, since a lot of them have their own specific ones.)
I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

My 14-year-old son and I spent 5 days at Captiva & had a great time! The rooms were nicely appointed, clean & looks like recently renovated. The beach was just a couple mins away by foot and easy to get to. The beach has chair umbrella, kayak and SUP rentals if you need them. Siesta Key Village is a 10-12 min drive however there is a FREE trolley that runs from 8am-10pm and picks up at Stickney Point Road.
Overall, great experience & Captiva was chosen as it wasn't in the busy area but still had a lot of activities to do. We will be back!

We stay here every year and we love it. We had a minor incident but they were very nice to us and I’m glad they are so understanding. There is no other hotel I’d rather stay at than Captiva. We have been coming here for years (even before they renovated) and it is our home away from home. Thank you guys, until next season!

This property is super close to the beach, but be prepared if you bring your own beach gear. You will not be permitted to set up in certain places due to private beach access for other hotels. The property has a nice court yard area to chill out and the staff is super nice. Our bed wasn’t the best, but the room was accommodating.

Beautiful rooms
Our 2 year old had heat stroke prior to our stay the staff was very helpful and we were able to check in early. The room was very clean and updated with a retro feel, central air conditioning was definitely a nice touch. We will definitely come back!
