It was easy to get where I needed to go. The dining was good, especially breakfast. What I didn't was the distance I had to go to my room. I recently had knee and ankle replacement on my right leg and I had to walk about 1/4 of a mile to my room. When I asked about changing, they offered to change the floor I was staying on but it didn't change the distance I had to walk to my room.

Doesn’t quite deliver for the price
Uneven experience overall — I don’t think I’d stay here again.
Pros: love that the property is on land, very immersive with great views and landscaping.
Room was very chic.
Both spa treatments I had were well done.
Cons: restaurant menus and in-room dining options were VERY limited.
The quality of the food was fair, but poor for the price.
We almost splurged for the fine dining restaurant (Kai) and based on the other dining experiences, I’m glad we didn’t.
The spa is really small! If you weren’t in the sauna or the hot tub, there wasn’t really anywhere else to lounge indoors.
I had a bad experience with a man working the check-in desk, he was incredibly rude and it felt like he was trying to embarrass me for asking a question.
Last, I’d bought a room rate that was supposed to include breakfast.
Half the days, they presented a check.
The other half, they didn’t.
I had to ask to see my folio when I checked out, which felt awkward.
They had not tallied the breakfast correctly so I had to stand there while they removed it. Bad final interaction.
Nice views, but thousands of dollars later, I guess I could say I didn’t feel very welcomed. Next time I’ll try Scottsdale.

I liked that the property was off on it's own, was quiet and relaxing. The pool and fire pit were great!
The room was quite small for the amount of money spent and the resort fees on top of the cost of the stay were quite high.

Loved the wonderful staff, pool, clean facilities, beautiful immaculate landscaping and use of native plants and building materials. They’ve truly captured the essence of nayive Pima/Maricopa style and Spanish influences over the years in the property. I came away educated about native culture and their path to a sustainable future. Earths challenges has answers in ancient wisdom and modern tools. Hope this culture is made more prevalent and accessible for today’s generations.

This property is so beautiful and peaceful. We had an amazing stay. Pools are warm (perfect for our early winter stay). Hot tubs are hot. Service and staff are top notch. My daughter loved the water slide and kid amenities. Rooms are beautiful and modern as well. I especially loved all of the art and local Pima and Gila River details. A wonderful oasis.

Loved our stay here! Staff are friendly and helpful, property and grounds were beautiful! Pool was heated and pool bar was yum! We ate at multiple restaurants on the property and while the menu selection was fairly limited, everything we tried was delicious!! We will be back!

Front desk was helpful in allowing a nice time frame for us for late checkout on Sunday since our flight was late in the evening. That was much appreciated. Very clean and nice ambiance throughout the property.
More staff in restaurants would’ve been good.

Hotel and property is beautiful. The staff is amazing and so accommodating. The views of hills are stunning and landscaping and walking paths are wonderful. It is a very serene setting that is peaceful yet can be so much fun poolside with a great bar. There is nothing that I didn’t like about this hotel. Can’t wait to go back!

Would have been perfect but it’s football season and tv at pool bar was broken and their indoor area with 3 TVs had no sound. Pretty fixable mistake but they were totally baffled for 5 days.

The staff was amazing. The food was excellent, especially the sirloin burgers which we had twice! Our room was lovely, except all of our pillows were flat, and it was difficult for us to sleep with them. We asked for fluffy pillows and the cleaning lady delivered one that wasn’t so fluffy. They could use some renovation outside by the pools. The chairs had ripped upholstery multiple chairs. Also, I made a suggestion before I left. There are no lights outside at the pool after dark except in the pools themselves. So walking around the pools or trying to leave the pools to get to the gate is Precarious. Lovely place. This is our second time there for a staycation, and we will do it again!

We prepaid for two nights but due to unexpected travel changes, we arrived late. We were told that because we arrived late, our reservation was no longer valid. We bought another night. No help at all.

Disappointing Friday Night
The AC in the room was terribly loud. Every time it shut off it sounded like someone was opening the door. I barely slept for that noise waking me up every couple of hours.

Okay what else!
We have been there before and this time it was nice but not like before that peaceful and just that relaxing atmosphere was missing. First night was nice, second day they were installing shades in the bar/restaurant area and there was a lift and some seating was closed off in some areas. They were trimming tress and other things happening in the hotel. The full experience wasn’t there. Also they had a convention going on and there must of been at over 100 people and the hang out places were full, and noisy. The pool was nice the floors were deteriorating and chippy in some areas. They were cutting trees and the pool area was also noisy. Okay what else, the room was very clean but we encountered a huge roach in the bathroom! and it was a shock, I’m horrified of roaches and from that point on I no longer felt safe and was apprehensive the rest of our stay!

Overall very good! Very nice facilty and good for families. Ben Bennett mgr was fantastic as was the breakfast crew.
Room for improvement. Girl at front desk check on Sunday wasn’t very friendly. On morning of check out, slide didn’t open and child was bummed out.

Stayed here Thursday-Sunday to drop off our son at ASU mid August. Beautiful and relaxing resort. All our meals were excellent. Resort was not busy at this time. Would definitely recommend and plan to return.

Great resort with everything as described on Expedia. The photos on Expedia show perfectly the room. The staff are the stars here, the lady checking us in was helpful and friendly as was the lady at check out. Waiters, valet and pool staff were all friendly. Our room had a lovely view of the pool and the mountains. It is peaceful here and easy to unwind and relax. The only negative is the condition of the pool loungers and side tables - both dirt and damaged.

Such a nice quiet stay! Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. The shower was amazing and we loved having a small balcony to relax on. The AC was phenomenal and very responsive. Our favorite thing was the room service! Delicious meals and exceptional service from the most lovely people. We didn’t use the pool due to the very hot weather, but it looked gorgeous. Definitely returning to this property, although in a cooler month.

What a beautiful place! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the property is gorgeous. The pool was perfect for our family of five. The kids were on the slide all day. Food was delicious, although in the higher price range. If you’re looking for something less expensive though, you can take a free shuttle to the casino next door for more dining options. The rooms were very nicely decorated and spacious. We’ll definitely be back

A superior resort
This is a favorite hotel for us when we visit family in Chandler. It is conveniently located and has outstanding amenities including a large pool area that has many pools for young kids and adult kids, an outstanding spa and good poolside service with good drinks and food. It is as good as any Scottsdale resort at a fraction of the price.

This is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. The staff was incredible from check in, to the service staff, the waiters, bar staff, event staff, they were all pleasant and did a great job, can't say enough about the staff. The resort was very nice, great pool area with lots of room and areas to lay out. I stayed here for a work conference but will likely come back for a family vacation.

Nice property but housekeeping really below par
The rooms were NOT clean. I had trash on the floor of my room and evidence everywhere of carpets not being vacuumed, floors, counters and mirrors not cleaned, dust on all surfaces, even tape stuck to several surfaces. Hard to claim I was comfortable despite nice bed and furniture when I didn’t want to touch anything.

This resort was very nice & relaxing. Really reminded me of being in Mexico (expect is wasn't all inclusive) Would have been nice if the hotel had a bank of elevators on each end of the hotel (as well as the only one in the center) Our room was on the very end, so it was also of walking, but it wasn't the end of the world. Food was "ok" not worth the price tag that was being charged. We did drive to the Casino for dinner one night & the food was much better & cheaper. We also drove to a local restaurant the other night & again, much better & cheaper. It would have been nice if maybe the back pool/hot tub was designated for adults only. We have kids & left them with grandparents to visit this hotel. We knew it wasn't adults only, so I'm not mad about it. But since they have a very large pool & waterslide, PLUS a back pool. It wouldn't have been hard to make the back one adults only. Would have been very more relaxing not having kids jumping in & out of the pool constantly. Rooms were very nice, location was awesome. I would defiantly return & probably bring the kids next time.

Beautiful resort, fantastic pool area. The staff were among the friendliest that I have ever encountered. This resort was very close to shopping and the city but yet you felt like you were staying in this peaceful desert oasis. If you need to be close to the south side of Phoenix, this is a fantastic option. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing that I would caution someone about is if walking and mobility are an issue, this may not be a good choice. Property is sprawling. Self parking requires a hike to your room. However, they do offer valet parking.

eveything was fine with the exception of the body wash dispenser was empty the entire time we were ther and the bed sheet on the 1st bed were not changed and juice had spilled on them. we arrived to late to report it ad have them changed.

Not worth it. Stay elsewhere.
The expectations when staying somewhere like this are fairly high and it just didn’t even come close to meeting those expectations. The room was not cleaned properly. It was dusty. The speaker on the TV was blown out so trying to watch anything was awful with scratchy sounds throughout. The remote control was gross and broken but they did bring me a new one. My room was incredibly far from the lobby and they didn’t tell me there was parking right next to it - I figured that out by myself while wandering. Before my discovery I was parking where directed which was even farther from my room than the lobby. Do not recommend. Stay somewhere else but stop by for the nearby activities which was AMAZING - Aji Spa and the KOLI Equestrian Park near the hotel are wonderful.

Cons-no close elevators on suite sides (room 3140), confusing layout and not easy to get to parking lot, limited hours for dining, expensive, no activities at resort during the weekdays (they had paint and wine on a Saturday) the tv had no log in for a streaming service, ability to mirror, or source button which now a days seems standard at other resorts.
Pros-staff was friendly, food was decent, view from balcony nice, Starbucks on site. Decorated for holidays and clean.

We had a fabulous time here . The room was spacious, modern and clean ,. The pools were clean and in great shape . The exterior was beautiful and well kept . We ordered room service and were very happy with our food which was delicious. They had the food up to us within 30 mins and everything was perfect and hot and the portions were big . Would highly recommend

What a beautiful place to stay! Out in the middle of no where with beautiful views, a beautiful hotel, great swimming pools and great rooms. So relaxing! The staff at checkin and the restaurant staff were so friendly and professional. Will definitely be coming back!

We’ve been coming to this resort for years. We go every year with our two kids when school gets out in June. This year we decided to try another resort in the Phoenix area. Stayed one night and by the next morning, we had cancelled and we’re back at the Sheraton! We tell everyone about this resort!! The doorman, Michael, is one of our favorite workers there. Such a happy friendly guy! The resort is very clean. We love the pools and the landscape is beautiful. Love that there’s room service too!

The pool area was chaotic and messy. Food everywhere and the pool cushions were very dirty. I assume they were short staffed but it was not a pleasant experience or stay. The bed was comfortable but there was some sort of padding on it for waterproofing that made it seem like you were sleeping on a baby's crib sheet. Awful and made for an uncomfortable sleep.

The resort is good but not worth the excessive price they charged. Housekeeping was awful!!! They skipped the housekeeping 3 out of the 4 days I stayed. Even the day they did it wa limited to making the bed and changing towels. They didn’t even mopped the floor or cleaned the bathroom. When I check in I expressly asked for daily housekeeping. The bar at the pool took for ever to service. The lobby area was always crowded and long lines to check in and check out
