Disappointed
was a little disappointed when I got there when it says fully stocked , and they don’t have shampoo or conditioner or coffee. The headboard on the bed is broke and you can tell it’s been broken for a while. had difficulty finding the unit office closes at five, so there was no one to ask for help. there are stains on the carpet. Unit has not been upgraded since the 70s. Also advertises as a king bed and it is not it is a queen.

Awesome vacation stay
The stay was amazing. We stayed in room 712. The room was very spacious and clean. We will be staying here again. Plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. Close walk to downtown.

This was the second time we have stayed at this location. The first time was roughly 5 years ago. We fell in love with this place then. It truly felt like a little “mom and pop” style home. So when we decided to book a room in Gatlinburg again, I wanted to go to Olde Gatlinburg again. The booking process was easy. They sent me a detailed email with check in instructions. Great, no problem…. Until we got to there. It was listed on the email that check in time was at 3:00. Upon arrival, the housekeeper was still cleaning our room at 3:15. We had to stand outside and wait for her to finish cleaning before we could go in. This was especially irritating because we had driven several hours to get to this location and wanted to settle in. The second issue was that the fireplace didn’t work in our room. The third issue was that I picked a room that had a recliner pictured in the listing. Our room didn’t even have a recliner. Keep in mind about what blankets you want to use, as well as bring your own pillow. The comforter was extremely scratchy and the pillows were insanely flat. The mattress was also not very comfortable. There were 2 large dips on the mattress causing my husband and I to literally be sinking in the middle. The room was clean for the most part so no complaints there. I did feel safe in the area we were in as well. I also like how it’s very close walking distance to all the shops and the Village. Honestly, we won’t be booking here again.

Look for some place better….
The photo is NOT the facility we stayed at. They put us in a OLD hotel turned into Condo’s …the place was clean, BUT, everything was old/outdated and looked dirty. The refrigerator didn’t work. The bed was like sleeping on a hardwood floor, not comfortable at all. The towels were worn, the blanket I pulled out of the drawer to use smelled musty. Was really disappointed. Not how I planned celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Well didnt get to stay since they over booked and then with out offering a refund moved us up the road on a hill which made it not walking distance to down town to a very noisy area! So will not maje this mistake again!

Great location, clean and comfortable
This complex is older but in an outstanding location to be able to easily walk to downtown Gatlinburg! We arrived about 9pm but had an email with code for the unit. However it was a little challenging to find 5b. It is located on the 5th floor but towards the backside. All other units are numbered in the 500's, making it a little confusing. There are carts and an elevator to help get luggage to the 5th floor. The unit was decorated nicely, giving "honor" to the black bear 😉 It was clean and comfortable. The gas fireplace didn't work the first night but I reported it to the front desk the next morning and maintenance lite the pilot. The tub/shower had jets but the jets didn't work 😞 I was also disappointed that the outside hot tub and heated pool were closed. No one told us that would be the case in October. Overall we were happy with Olde Gatlinburg Condos.

Did not have bedding for both pull outs.. loveseat bed was so worn out i was afraid it would break during the night.
Could also have coffee and filters available in cabinet.
Outer lights in hallways and corridors need to come on at dusk and not after dark.
But room was cute. I wouldn't say $200 a night cute.
Would i stay again... in a pinch

Nice place to stay
We have always enjoyed our stay, this year was enjoyable however, our unit was in need of some improvements. The bed needs a new mattress it seemed to sag in the middle. The pull out couch was in need of repair and a new mattress. The mattress was so thin we purchased an air mattress. Although it was October the fireplace was not operational which was disappointing. We had to be sure to check the door when leaving to make sure it locked. A couple of times it took 2 or 3 tries before it would lock.

Beds squeaked like crazy but were very comfortable. Freezer was almost unusable due to the amount of frost build up. Bathroom has black funk, im hoping it wasnt mold. 2nd bathroom had a leaky faucet. Curtains in bedroom didnt close all the way so sun in your face at sunrise was a certain. I do like how close it was to the main street of Gatlinburg, no need to drive everywhere. I also liked the keypad on the door, didn't have to worry about losing a key. Room was clean it was just in need a some repairs.The room served its purpose, we weren't there except to freshen up and sleep.

Great place to stay!
Loved our stay at Olde Gatlinburg Rentals! We have stayed here about a dozen times in the past 4 years and every visit we found the rooms pristine! These units are centrally located to downtown Gatlinburg and it’s many attractions!

we booked our room one month prior to us arriving. when we got there the room was dirty...the bed was squeaky so much so that I slept on the sofa. Everything in the room was dated, the clock didn't work , under the bathroom sink the shelves was broken, there was a dirty toilet plunger and a fire extinguisher shoved in there. The floor around the fridge had something sticky with hair stuck to it. Will definitely not be staying there again, or recommend it to any of our family or friends. Really sorry we are nice people and don't usually complain but this was the pits.

Had a water leak in the bathroom exhaust fan - dripping over the toilet - called it in and it was fixed by the time we returned to the room from our hiking. However, no one checked back with us to see if it was fixed or to apologize for the inconvenience of having water dripping on us while in the bathroom.

Stayed in 512. Door code didn’t work. No one in office so had to call after hours number. They sent a new code. The room was nice. WiFi was awful. Tv kept buffering for like 20 minutes at a time. Awful

Great trip - below average condo.
Room had not been cleaned when we arrived after 3pm. We let office know. We had to come back later. Very dated location in need of repair. Great location and convenient.

Walkable to downtown and quick drive to East Parkway.
Came during snow and freezing temps and the the parking lot was extremely slick for half our stay. There wasn't any attempt to remove the snow or de-ice.

Worst of the worst experience ever
There was no one at front desk after 5 PM. The elevator was in open area and not working. We had to struggle for 30 minutes in 10 degree F temp. Called the number mentioned in email but did not get any response. Finally we went to another hotel. Again tried nect day at 10AM bit no one was at front desk.

The bed was terrible!!! Closet door was hard to open in bedroom. Couches and chairs uncomfortable. Had to have light bulbs put in 3 places. Like the location . Management very nice.

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay, everything was great from the start. Nice, clean room with everything we needed for the night. The bed was comfortable and clean. The only complaint is the fireplace doesnt work. We were really looking forward to using it. The condo is walking distance to the main strip with The Village being super close. We were able to walk to the Pancake Pantry for breakfast and the arcade after a night at Dollywood. Super quiet.

This was a and cute little place. Super comfy. A little outdated, but not gross outdated. Still clean and freshly painted. Hardwood floors was a bonus. We stayed in room 203, no complaints. Was withing walking distance if everything! Check in was hassle free and not time consuming!
***Only negative thing was the fireplace didn’t work and it was extremely cold at night,

Overall comfortable
The suite was comfortable and up to date however, the hide a bed could use a better mattress. I'm glad I brought my own air mattress. The suite could also use a broom, we stayed a week and would have liked to be able to sweep the floors. Over all the sore was comfortable and would stay again.

When you rent a room you rent a little condo. Included are living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom which was very spacious. The price is affordable and it meets all my expectations.

First glance it looked great. Bedding and sofa couch were comfortable. The second bedroom had a random square hole in the wall i assume was missing a vent cover as it was blowing air. The bar in the main shower came right out, im glad we didn't have to rely on it to get in and out. While everything was clean the towels looked dirty/stained.

We loved the condo, but i wasn't expecting the bathroom sink so to so short, and i was expecting a full kitchen, and the bed in the bedroom was super uncomfortable at the end of our stay mine and my husband's back was killing us so back we couldn't ever bend down, and the room was always hot where the living room was always cold, well our kids said the pull out bed in the couch was alright

This site is nestled off the main road. There is a lot of vehicle traffic in the area but not noisy at all. The balcony is very nice to sit out on and enjoy the day or night surroundings. The unit we stayed in could use some updating but overall it was nice. The bed was outdated and a little uncomfortable for me, the bathroom was somewhat updated but the bathtub sunk in at spots, the kitchen was small but had everything you needed, the living room was spacious and just the right size. Only negative was we couldn’t get the fireplace to work even though it said it would work from October-April.
Overall it was nice just needs a little updating.

Would not stay there again.
The unit was unimpressive, at best. The odd “kitchenette” was really just an old stove top and cabinets stuck weirdly in an entry hall. The refrigerator is in the living room. The bedding was very cheap, and uncomfortable. There were no amenities like extra pillows or blankets, not even anything to make morning coffee or tea. The furnishings are old and worn, eg broken lamp, foil wrapped around old stove burner pans. The second bedroom was really small, no closet (that was taken up with a hot water heater), and the bathroom was tiny, cramped, and you had to walk out into the dining area to get to it! Not pleasant. Some simple amenities would make this unpleasant apartment livable. As it was—just, ugh. The only nice thing was the check-in staff—Beverly—who was absolutely delightful, kind, efficient, and professional.

Comfort with a view
We came to Gatlinburg for an overnight stay during a house hunting trip as we are planning to move soon following retirement. This place was very cozy, friendly, and perfectly located to walk down to the main areas and attractions. Check in was simple and the gentleman at the desk was one of the very reasons we want to move here. Southern hospitality at its best. The room was a little dated but absolutely comfortable with a beautiful view. We will stay here again when we visit again!

We have stayed at these particular condos for the past 3 years at Christmas.
This year was a bit disappointing. There was dried food left on the counter, the bathroom was not cleaned well (take a look at the hairdryer on the wall & mold on the back of the door) and the bed sheets had not been changed because they were wrinkled in the outline of a body.
In the past, our other rentals had decorated for the holiday and even had a Christmas tree up. That’s a nice touch for travelers celebrating out of town. This condo was just plain. Outdated decor. Dusty plastic plants, etc.
We did love the fact we were on the 7th floor with a great view. We appreciated the larger fridge. Thank you to the staff for leaving extra towels as there was only 1 set for each person for 3 days.
I think the owner's should ask for a deep cleaning and maybe add a little color to the decor.
Overall, we had a great time as always and will continue our future visits here.

Saved by the lady in the office.
The original unit I was scheduled to be in was so bad. Stains on the carpet, stains on the ceiling, broken tub, broken a/c, mattress was probably 30 years old, vinyl floor in kitchen and bath had turned yellow and was coming up in places, the entrance door showed light all the way around it, it actually looked like a room in the ghettos. However, I went and talked to the nice lady in the office Beverly and she helped me change to another room that was 100x better than 4b. She saved my vacation because I was not going to put my family in that first unit. Do not ever stay in 4b horrible, outdated by 30 years with original everything. Even the fire detector had been removed. I’m surprised I didn’t see the police outline of a dead body on the carpet. This unit is negative stars. Thanks again Beverly for finding me another room.

504 had roaches
Roaches! we stayed in unit 504 and there were roaches in the unit. They were mainly in the bathroom but we did see 1 on the refrigerator. The unit was clean and neat but that ruined it for us. And the bed is bay far terrible. We would consider staying there again as the location is great but would want to see and stay in another unit. By looking at the upkeep of the property I do feel this was an isolated problem but one that needs attention.

Great Place to Stay
Our stay was nice. The unit was well furnished with everything needed from coffee pot to dish washer. However the carpets are in bad need of cleaning or replacing. There were stains in the living area as well as the bedroom. You definitely did not want to walk on the carpet barefoot. Other than that the unit was clean. I would request this unit again in hopes that the carpets were cleaned or replaced.

Check in was made so easy by the best customer service I ever received! Thank you Beverly, you are awesome at your job. I can’t say enough good about you. I received two phone calls, one the morning of our trip so she could send check in instructions, and another prior to her leaving for the day to make sure we received everything and to see if we had any questions. The rental was perfect for us, within walking distance to the shops. It was a perfect getaway. We are I’ll be back and thank you for awesome customer service. It was appreciated, made it easy, and felt welcoming!

Disappointing
First impression the room looked good. Then started noticing things wrong. There was a large area on one wall that had been patched up but they didn’t bother to paint it. There was a very nice large clock on the wall that didn’t run. Ceiling was dirty. Toilet paper holder was missing. One lamp couldn’t be turned off because the switch thing was broken off. Bed was uncomfortable and loud. Kept waking us up every time we moved during the night

Stayed here for a little getaway and wasn’t exactly what we hoped for. The initial first impression was the room looked nice and pretty until we looked closer. The rooms smelled musky and definitely weren’t exactly clean. Stuff stuck to the counter tops, furniture smelled like urine (chair), and dirt on the wall in bedroom. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and there was no way to adjust the air in the room. So we sweat all night because it was too hot. Won’t be returning.

I liked free on site public parking, elevator, dumpster on site, small but decent pool and hot tub, safe neighborhood. Unit 209 needs some love. Unit was not well maintained, bed has big dip right through the middle, it was not cleaned well-bathroom and kitchen counters had layer of dust over them, floors needed swept/mopped, fridge cleaned, shower scrubbed with no previous traveler hair left behind please. I did the basic cleaning and it got me through the week. The town was booked!!

Father/Daughter Weekend (condo #512)
My dad and I stayed in the two bedroom condo number 512. Overall the place was very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. So well decorated. I loved the little corner balcony. I would definitely stay there again. I have one small complaint as a vain woman who stayed in the smaller bedroom, and that is a significant lack of mirrors! Not a one I could see more than my head and shoulders in. It wasn’t a dealbreaker but I did almost go out and buy a cheap back of the door mirror myself. The master bath does have a decent mirror, but the second bath and bedroom do not.

Great Place!
Good size place with an awesome balcony. Its older like most of the accommodations in Gatlinburg. Only downside is the refrigerator in room 504 did not work. Should fix that. Very convenient walking distance to all attractions and shopping. Would definitely stay again.

Home away from home!
The pictures on hotels.com were accurate, although there was some wear and tear. Both bedrooms and the living room had nice TVs. The fridge was a nice size and kept all of our beverages super cold. Plenty of parking on both sides of the building. Definitely within walking dostance of SO many attractions yet away from most foot traffic.
