Clean and sufficient for the price.
The hotel was good for the price. Our room was clean, and the breakfast was good. I wanted something close to Rosemont Il that was not too pricey and this was a good stop.

Everything was great however i had to pull out the air filters and clean them myself. I don't think the hotel realizes this is a fire hazard as well as a hazard to those with allergies and asthma. Otherwise staff was pleasant and quick to assist. A little noisy on the first floor due to all the vehicles in the parking lot. However i would still go back if i needed a cheap hotel in a pinch.

The motel is fairly close and convenient to O'Hare airport. But it is quite isolated, with almost no nearby residential and commercial development. From the outside, the property is well lit and appears decently maintained. Our room was a different story. There were dead cockroaches outside and inside the door, and inside the rug was very worn and stained in multiple areas. The bathroom was outdated and my bath towel was threadbare and had dirt spots on it. Basically, the room need a deep clean, and new carpet and towels. And an exterminator. Sorry for the bad review. I have stayed at other Super 8 motels that were very clean and well maintained, but this one is an outlier.

Room was pretty clean, the shower pressure left a lot to be desired. A lot of the people staying there were loud, intoxicated, and obviously just using the room for an hour. It was great if you just need a place to sleep

Pleasantly surprised
First time staying here and was pleasantly surprised! Our room was very clean and fairly well maintained, no real issues or complaints here at all. Was expecting more noise given the location, but found it quite peaceful with only the sound of light traffic or the occasional overhead plane from the nearby airport. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was well stocked and well organized. Would consider staying here again. Thank you!

There is parts of the city you should avoid and this property is one. The pictures that are on the site is false advertisement. One you get to the property you feel unsafe. I would stay away and find a place in the suburbs of Chicago. Yes, the Lyft and Uber ride would be more expensive, but your safety is worth more.

Friendly and helpful front desk. Breakfast simple but adequate. Room was clean and comfortable and adequate. Comfortable bed. Overall needs update as furnishings worn and look well used. But room and property served our needs at a good price.

Unfortunately, they do not do a good job of cleaning. I don't like giving bad reviews, but the room we were in had semen all over the paintings at the head of the bed, on the curtains, and many places at the metal frame at the bottom of the beds. It was disgusting...

The room itself was decent, pretty clean. However there were a couple of things that could be improved: The room service phones didn't even work, the bathroom sink would get clogged and the entrance door didn't have a proper lock.

The lobby was locked but was directed to a side door to check in via a plexiglass window. Got to the room and opened the door, we were immediately greeted by the smell of weed and alcohol. Bed was unmade, open beer bottles scattered about, and trash here and there. I went back to the (lobby) and asked for my money back. The person was nice and said "no problem" and that my money should be refunded in 3-4 days and 4 days later, my money was returned. I would definitely not suggest this place! This place was absolutely disgusting. Thanks

Terrible hotel
Let me say this very short and brief. This was a absolutely the worst hotel that we have ever booked with you all. From the cleanliness to the lights in the room flickering all night. The most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Same on this hotel with did nothing about the issue that were brought to their attention. This was a waste of time and money.

The room smelled as if someone was smoking in there as soon as we opened the door, and it was supposed to be a non smoking room.
The towels in the bathroom were dirty and so were the pillow cases and blanket.

the gap in thr hotel door to the frame was so wide you could see the crack of light like a gap, door shut and locked tight but was big, called and asked for early check in was told yes 2pm would be fine got there had to sit in the car after being told no not ready, reservations for 4 adults in thr bathroom 3 towels, 2 hand towels one wash cloth, after 2nd dY laft towels outside of door to be repleaced took dirty ones but not replaced had to go ask for new ones, hideabed had no pillows and one sheet for a blanket, carpet was so dirty bottoms of feet were black after showering and walking barefoot i honestly could go on, please look around before choosing here

They advertised a continental breakfast but there was just coffee and muffins. I'm a tea drinker so that was really disappointing. The area looks sketchy but was actually ok. Rooms look old but clean and very quiet , despite the loud traffic outside.

We had to make multiple requests for amenities that were given in short supply. For instance, pillows were few, no bath soap, one glass, no long bath towel, etc. Besides, the front desk does not deliver to the room, so one has to go frequently to the front desk as one discovers missing items. Maybe Super8 works like this only!

Staff was friendly and helpful, property was clean, area is easily accessible to dowtown. All Amenities were provided.
Coffee was tasty but breakfast did not have any options, there is not proper area for breakfast.
Management was average, keys were not working, had to visit front desk to ask about working of keys on second day of stay.

The hotel was fine - definitely a place to just rest your head but if you’re looking for anything more than that - this isn’t it. The “breakfast” was two mini muffins with no other option. Not even a banana. The property itself is definitely out dated and our floor, couch and tub were dirty. I realized when I went to shower there was someone’s old crusty soap left on the ledge - so that was a delight.

Check in unfriendly. We arrived early but just try if we can check in earlier, but the receptionist even doesn’t need to check something and just replied not possible.
2nd: the room is so smelly especially in the bath room.
3rd: The breakfast is just like snacks or breakfastless.
I believe we will never stay in Super 8 motel again.

It says on this site free breakfast but in reality all you get are two small muffins. Their website at least says breakfast item and not breakfast. Also I had to pick between refrigerator or microwave, both would not plug in. Asked but they did not fix this.

Pictures of the property was not accurate. Old building, poorly maintained. We had old stains and at least two holes in our bed sheets. Hand marks visible in the wall. Older stained carpet. Price of motel should be 40 dollars because of conditions. We paid almost double.

Good place to crash
I was in town to go to 3 Cubs games in 2 days, with that I knew I wouldn’t be spending much time in the room. Based off of other reviews I got exactly what I expected. The first room I was given was not cleaned, the second room was. The carpet seemed old and dirty from its age, some of the bath towels were stained, and the sink was slow at draining. Other than that the bed was comfortable, free parking and no sign of any rodents or bugs. I would stay here again if it was the same circumstances.

The room was musty. Two of the lamps did not work, one had a short in it. When I arrived I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for someone to check me in. No coffee for the coffee maker. Just not what I expected from a Super 8.

What we liked - rooms were specious.
What we didn't like - 1. Carpet is very dirty.
2. Staffs didn't give any toiletries in one of our room. We asked for room service though but they just rearranged the bed and thats it.
3. When I booked it was showed that Breakfast included but there was no breakfast. When asked staff was rude to say due to covid breakfast is not served and it is up to corporate to update the websites. COVID at MAY 2022 ?????? are you serious ???

Location is good, close to restaurants and shopping. The problem was the cleaningness of the 2 rooms we booked. One had ants all over the tv area,the carpet was not vacuumed, there was food left on the floor. The other one the shower was not clean, it was dusty and overall not well cleaned. The hotel has a lot of potential but they need to improve the housekeeping services. Specially if it's advertised as enhanced cleaning for COVID protocols... It was not.

Spacious rooms with microwave and fridge, fairly pleasant. Great heating, and it was a cold day.The Expedia reservation didn't exist when I arrived, so I had to pay for my room twice. Although it says free breakfast, there is no breakfast "because of covid".

There was burn holes everywhere in the sheets. I ended up finding a condom under the couch they had in there. One of the towels I think was just refolded after a use and never swapped out. I don’t think anyone cleaned the room. It was absolute disgusting. I would not come back. And I’m really upset this is the place chosen

Property is convenient only ten mins. to the airport and it has free parking. Heat and air conditioner is great. Beds were clean. Carpets on room have too many stains, needs to be change. Bathtub needs paint. Sofa on the room needed cleaning.. No breakfast due to pandemic.

Staff were nice but the room was by far one of the dirtiest Super 8 hotels I’ve seen. The pillow cases had stains, everything was dusty. Wouldn’t even use the bathroom. Photos online were not a true representation of this motel.
