The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was awful! It smelled moldy/mildew, we had to open the window to air out the room to help with the smell.
The furniture looked as if it hasn't been cleaned or wiped down in a long time and the carpet was covered in hair/dust/lint. We were told the smell was from them shampooing the carpets last week; highly doubtful. If we had any other choice, we would not have stayed the night and asked for our money back.

It’s in a great location. Right in the middle of everything you would need. Room has a horrible odor and the floor was sticky and dirty. Tops of hair dryer, closet etc was dirty.. toilet not bolted to the ground and moved a lot. Shower leaked around joints and sprayed everywhere. Had to ask for iron/ironing board and received an iron that was all black on metal part.. staff was super friendly but definitely needs some updating and a little more attention on cleanliness.

This place needs some major improvements. The room was dirty , there was a used towel across the shower curtain bar and plastic wrap on the floor indicating it hadn’t been cleaned! Room had a lot of peeling paint , the pillows were yellowed under the pillowcase .. just nasty ! And the pet fee is more than advertised .. $25 , not $15 . No breakfast available.. you get what you pay for so … but don’t recommend! Pay $10 more and stay across the road

Only thing I liked was our lady behind the counter. Other than that it was the worst. From peeling plaster to toilet you had to hold down for a proper flush. Groups of workers I assume setting outside drinking and throwing beer caps all over the place. My girlfriend had to walk through them to get to our vehicle and was a little scared doing so. Nasty light switches and around fixtures was gaps and peeling paint. For the $255.00 I paid for two nights stay I expected a lot better place. Would rather sleep in my car than spend another night there. Don't get me started on their so called breakfast that sets behind counter and you have to ask for it.

Bed in room 125 is so comfortable. Hotel is quiet and saf and parking is simple. Check in was easy at bottom of my stays.
Bed in room 228 is so hard and uncomfortable . Floors are sticky and turned my feet black in both rooms during each of my stays.

Needs to be updated. Bathtub was dirty and water dripped the whole time. This property needs updated in the worst way. Vending machines broke. Got a sake breakfast which was nice and the staff was friendly. Just run down. Frig had scratches in it and dinged on the front. Electrical cords didn't seem safe. To plug in my phone by the bed my adapter kept falling out of the outlet. Just needs to be refigured. Sheets were clean and bed was good. Stains on the chair in the room which was degusting

I am disabled and they have no elevator and no rooms on the bottom floor. I had to climb the stairs to get to our room. I was stuck there until we left.

The lobby and room itself were clean, but our bathroom had mold all on the ceiling and the bathtub handle was being held on by electrical tape. Their “free continental breakfast” was a brown paper bag with a nature valley bar, donuts and a fruit cup that looked like it had expired early. Probably will not be staying at that Super 8 again if I travel across the country again.

Cieling was cracked, beds were hard and uncomfortable but the staff was great. Thier wifi rouer needs a booster because the only place I could get it to work or stay connected to me is if I was up around the office. As soon as I got to my room door of 123 it would disconnect and said couldn't find router. But we don't stay anywhere else and we've been coming to Neosho pretty much yearly sometimes twice a year since 2020.

I found the front office looked nice but the room was diert. The carpet was tacky and sticky when walked on and my bare.feet were black.aftwr waalking in carpet..Tile floor was sticky and dirty. In bathroom. Entry door and refridgerator door were.dirty. Furniture was moderatelly worn and only 1 low grab bar in bathtun/shower. Mkssimg ttrim tile at baseboard area. Quiet stay and friemdly staff. Will not stay here again nor recommend it.

Filthy bathroom had a solid black ring about 3 inches wide around the tub. Key card would not work after you use it one time.......was there 2 days had to get new card multiple times. The staff was pretty nice.
Overall this has to be the worst super 8 I have stayed in

The staff was so nice. The room was clean. It is an older hotel that they have worked on. The outlet for the hair dryer not working was the only down fall that I experienced. It happens. I was very pleased with my stay and plan to use them again.

Small, no frills motel.
Pros: affordable, non smoking room option, easy to find
Cons: smoking rooms upstairs, no breakfast since Covid (pretty much all other hotels have some options, like packaged muffins, granola bars, etc)

Property was nice - I just had an inconvenience episode with a neighbor tenant that parked his car outside my window and his to load up his belongings from the room which he stayed perhaps for a while - I just thought that was wrong to have to hear noise right outside my room's window and from neighboring room

Don’t stay here, false advertising!
False advertising, no pool, hot tub, breakfast, rollaway bed and so on.
We booked a room for 2 adults and 3 children because the advertising said rollaway beds were available. That was a lie.
I ended up having to pay full price for an additional room because of this.
I was very disappointed. The rooms were poorly maintained, water leaked all night in the tub and the toilet kept running also.
The AC in one room didn’t work most of the night. Horrible experience, very disappointed!

There are 2 issues that really ruined our stay. The first problem was NO BREAKFAST. I plan my trips with hotels that have free breakfast and the staff said "we are out of everything." They must have been out for days because all they had was coffee.
The second disappointment was the child toilet. It was tiny and so low to the ground I had to hold onto the door handle and the tub to sit on it. I would like a refund.

You get what you pay for.
It’s an older property which I can understand. But, some things that can be controlled - Lightbulbs missing from socket or burned out. Slick tub floor that was honestly dangerous. Older recliner that just looked dirty. Toilet stopped up, but was able to clear it eventually. No iron or ironing board (yes, I use them for clothes). But the staff was friendly and it really felt like they were doing their best. And the bed was very comfortable.

The bathtub was slippery and the shoerhead sprayed in different directions. The bathroom floor wasn't as clean as I hoped. It was quiet and the beds were fine. No breakfast served as advertised on the website.

Internet failed to stay connected. Old old system. The room smelled like moldy carpet. Staff was a nice as could be, but hands are tied by owner's lack of upgrades. I could not stay the 2nd night. Not functional if you need working internet.

Gut it, renovate and put a new facade it on too
If you're underage looking for an overnight hangout to drink and smoke weed this is the place. Siding is falling off of the exterior. The air conditioner covers are missing from most of the units and this is also visible on the exterior. The entire place has a wet and sticky feel and smells damp and unclean. The rooms pictured in the booking advertisement are similar but have since been destroyed by previous guest graffiti on the rooms artwork. There are water stains on the walls and ceiling. The carpet is mushy, damp and sticky. The shower fills up quickly and doesn't drain properly leaving you standing in you own filth. The front desk attendant was nice enough. I coordinated this stay for myself and extended family prior to traveling to Neosho for a funeral and feel ashed that I subjected them all to this. My brother thanked me for helping his family with reservations but asked that I never attempt to be a travel agent if I decide to make a career move.

The property is in desperate need of updates. The siding is falling, off the outside water leaks in the main corridor, broken down trucks parked in the parking lot that look to have been there for months. There is an over powering smell of air freshener to cover up all the marijuana smell coming from the rooms and the nighttime front desk girl. Do yourself a favor pay an extra $20 a night and stay across the street at the Baymont.

The staff did their best to make me feel comfortable. They cleaned my room daily which was great. The bed was comfortable. The room had some portions of the baseboard missing and the bathroom fan was irritatingly noisy. The fact that they did not provide any type of breakfast - was totally frustrating. They could have at least provided yogurt or cereal and milk!! All I really need is a good bed and I went to this Super 8 because I thought they would have breakfast. I usually spend about 30 nights a year in the town in which this motel is located, and it is not off the list. So, if you dont care about breakfast and the few minor maintenance issues this is your place.

Advertised as having continental breakfast. It does not. When I looked around my room upon waking I noticed there was not a smoke alarm in my room. I brought to manager Samanthas attention and she did not offer any type of apology or accommodation for the poor service I received. Her attitude was very defensive and wouldn’t take any responsibility for the issues and only offered excuses. Definitely not the way to treat a customer.

My family and I drove out from Colorado and the room was not in the best condition. There was water damage on the floor next to the bed, the shower was not working right and hot water lasted five to 7 minutes maximum, there weren't enough towels though they knew we had five of us, when I told them about fixing the issues, they didn't. Also, Continental breakfast was supposed to be served and they had zero anything, only a vending machine and coffee that was horrible. I would not recommend this place.

Another was just jacked up without a wheel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. Sadly that is the only thing good I can say. No breakfast was served due to “Covid.” That information could have been provided upfront. Why not have grab-and-go breakfast available? The room was absolutely filthy. Sticky, orange substance covered the nightstand and remote (with dead batteries), dirty walls and doors throughout room and bathroom, hair covered the shower walls, missing light cover in bathroom exposed inches of dust and dirt, worn dresser. Hard to relax in such a filthy room.

Decent stay, but sketchy location….
For the most part it was a really good/decent, Especially for a Super 8! The doors were on the inside. (That’s a plus for my bunch)
They do NOT have an elevator just a FYI, so don’t bring a heavy suitcase. Overall our stay was good, but in a sketchy part of town…The staff were super friendly!

Not the best but cheap
The hotel was rated much higher than it deserves. We tried to call several times to ask questions about breakfast and no one answered the phone. There’s no breakfast being served and that’s why we chose it. Pulled in the parking lot and the clerk is sitting out front, smoking a cigarette. The whole place smelled like smoke. The room was clean, didn’t smell like smoke in there, but the based board was ripped off the wall at the floor and dry wall was coming out. The tub was cracked.

The room was obviously run down and nothing close to the photos. The bedding didn’t appear to be clean. After I began itching, I discovered bed bugs everywhere under the mattress. When I approached the front desk with this, I wasn’t offered any kind of refund. I would never stay anywhere near this place.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. There is no longer a guest laundry as stated in the in room information and they have discontinued breakfast although Expedia shows that a breakfast is included. The television in our first room didn't work but we were immediately move to another room with sincere apologies from the staff.

We arrived late at night and when I tried to check in, I was told the computers were down and have been down for the past hour, so they were unable to check us in. After driving for 10 hours, that’s definitely not what you want to hear when you booked ahead of time days before. As I was going back to my car, the employee came after me and told me that they found a way to check me in. They were on the phone with someone and got me checked in. He was amazing. He really was amazing and went above and beyond to help us. The whole system was just messed up and to put the employees under that stress and in that situation in the first place is awful. They need to change that.
We got to the room, it was filthy. It’s a very rundown, old building, the pictures were taken in very good lighting. When we got to the room, we were shocked. It was just so dirty and smelled horrible. I couldn’t get it in me to sleep in the covers. I had my family sleep on top of the blankets.
The trashcans definitely need to be cleaned, it smells so horrifically bad. Same with their airconditioning unit. It blows musty air. There was so much dust on the tables and alarm clock. There were dead bugs all over the floors and are filthy. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, however, the condition of the rooms are just horrendous. There is no breakfast due to Covid, which is understandable, but it should be stated on the site. Parking is free. There is no Wifi and TV does not work properly.

Absolutely disgusting. Paid for two nights and only stayed for one. Awful smell. The ice maker was broken so they had bags stored in a deep freezer. Everything just felt really gross and unsanitary. The bed was super uncomfortable. There were cigarette burns (in our non-smoking room) in our comforter and on the bathtub.

Location was good.
Didn't like: Had to have keys reset numerous times every day.
TV connection had interruptions all day long and at night. No bad weather was causing it.
Big truck parked behind our window was on all night.
No ice machine. Water would change temperature while showering.

Online it showed a room with 2 queen beds sleeps 5 and we could ask for a roll away, was told the rooms only sleep 4 and they did not have roll aways. There was no breakfast even though the best western down the road had breakfast so it wasn't a statewide mandate bcuz of covid, it was the properties own mandate. There was no elevator and no swimming pool. Our light in our bathroom did not have ceiling tiles around it, it was just open, the shower curtain had big black spots of mold/mildew on the bottom( when it was mentioned to the front desk it was promptly replaced) and we couldn't watch our t.v. bcuz it constantly buffered. The only thing I liked about the hotel was the patio at the opposite end of our room where we could visit with our other family staying at the hotel that we haven't seen in years. We were there for my cousins funeral. Very disappointed stay but the employees seemed nice.

The property is in desperate need of a renovation. The door to our room would only work if we lifted up. The hallway smelled like skunk. To top it off, there was no breakfast at all, even though they advertise it online when you’re booking the room.

The hotel is tucked behind another one. This made it difficult to find, but nice because of less traffic. Still not serving breakfast due to covid. Had issues with thr phone and tv service not working properly. The water tempurature fluctuates during a shower.

We accidentaly booked this property in the wrong state. We did not stay in the toom that was booked while driving late at night.
Hotel management was not flexible in excusing this accidental booking and approving authorization for Expedia to refund the fee paid.
We plan to avoid any further business with Expedia and this hotel.
