Not for the claustrophobic
Room was too small and awkwardly configured. It is best suited for the 25 and under backpacking crowd who travel without suitcases and wear the same clothes for days. Only one person can fit in the bathroom comfortably at a time. Not bathmat so tub can be slippery. Room is clean and daily service is fine. Valet parking is convenient. Location is excellent. Heavenly Lifestyle Restaurant breakfast is excellent. Had it 3 of 4 days.

Location was fantastic and staff were welcoming , friendly, very helpful. The decor was strange and rooms a bit outdated with odd layout, however they were clean and the morning coffee plus water dispenser and staff compensated.

Overall it was a good stay. My partner and me enjoyed the cleanliness and staff customers service. The pillows were fluffy and the mattress was in good condition. I will say a downside to this hotel is the parking situation. It will cost you a pretty penny to park your car with them and anything near by isn't much better.

This is not a 4 star hotel and definitely not upscale. I was ‘upgraded’ to a king room that had absolutely no balcony. A dirty accent chair with a deep urine smell that permeated my clothes from sitting on it. A lumpy bed and dirty carpet. If i even thought they would refund my money for me to go to another hotel i would have. I will say that the front desk guy was amazing and great personality but other than him. A two star maybe 3 star hotel. Which is fine if they don’t claim 4 and call themselves upscale and try and charge like it.

At first the hotel seems simple but after few days staying here it’s unique look kind of grown on me. The hotel is right next to the international marketplace and also my lefty of restaurants to walk to close by.

Ants in bathroom —rooftop pool is super small. Horrible experience with check in and out…over charged me on the required hold and did not make it right when I notified them they overcharged me. Would never stay there again. One star

Nice boutique hotel in the middle of Waikiki.

Shoreline Waikiki is not a 4 star hotel. The valet workers are very nice but it is a very dated building with old beds and rooms and facilities. Even the shower curtain was old and stained. It was very loud every night. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the mattress springs was sinking. I would have stayed somewhere else in this price range or paid a little more for something much nicer.

hotel is well located but very much a holiday inn style, room is outdated and my room is facing another building so no view at all. evening gets loud with neighborhood blasting music. no parking around so have to valet park which is $45/day. water refill station is on ground floor which is not convenient. even it's VIP access property but no upgrade offered.

One of our friends recommended shoreline and it did not disappoint. It’s a great location and we loved everything about the hotel. As soon as we got home we started planning our next stay. Can’t wait to go back!

No free parking
I recently stayed at Shoreline Hotel Waikiki in Honolulu and found its location across from the Hyatt in the heart of Waikiki to be excellent. However, be aware that they don't disclose the $45 per night parking fee, which adds up significantly. The noise level, especially at night, was quite uncomfortable, making it feel like you're right on the street. Additionally, the soundproofing between rooms is lacking. While the employees were friendly, a higher-priced hotel with free parking might offer a more peaceful and cost-effective stay.

The property needs updates. The red hallway paint is too much gives “adult playroom” vibes. Them being woken up at 3am with the drunks in the alley fussing and cursing. No security to go out and handle them or run them away from the property. Paying guest shouldn’t be woken up to such ignorance after traveling to this beautiful island all day!

Great customer service, was disappointed due to new management they stopped doing all the funny day & nightly extras the did for their guest. Live music on front Entrance patio in evening, guest events like the morning yogi once a week in pool area, lobby dole whip gone, shaved ice, popcorn. One reason in the past we stayed here this was a nice surprise coming back to hotel & something fun for guest. Not sure about future stays this was a draw that made it this spot little different to others.

House keeping did a super job.
Pool was not that inviting.
Having the water dispenser was great to fill water bottles.
It was a little noisy at night from outside music.
I would recommend this hotel.
Bonus Ross store was across the street.

It was great place and the staff was right on it. and the housekeeper kept everything clean. Overall everything was a great experience. Everything is in walking distance to swim. Call Anil 14 far. It was nice in a few over Honolulu was wonderful.

Hello all, this is just my personal opinion and experience. I went to the hotel to stay but I checked out immediately because I didn’t feel it’s up to the mark, I felt mostly like going to hotel 6 than a hotel where I like to go hyatt. However the price wasn’t any big difference. Location of hotel is good!

What a wonderful stay! Cute hotel with friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable bed! Was a bit worried after reading some of the past reviews that the hotel would not look as pictured, but in my opinion the hotel was as cute as the photos say. Valet parking was expensive but convenient and reliable. Rooms were very clean. One only downside was windows are thin and there was some construction going on in the building across and you would hear noises earlier in the morning that could wake you up. Overall very affordable stay in Wakiki worth every penny and if you’re unsure about booking, go ahead and do it! Would consider staying here again. Thank you Shoreline Wakiki!

Shoreline is a good hotel however, it was not as we expected it to be the fixtures looked cheap and they only clean your room every 3 days. Staff were friendly and the location is excellent! Walkable to Waikiki beach and lots of food options. Valet parking was pricey but valet did excellent. Pool was small and had a bitter taste.

After our disaster at Ohia Waikiki Studio Suites, we immediately booked the last room at Shoreline and we are beyond happy that we did. The staff was very friendly and we were greeted all the time as we passed by the front desk. When we opted out of housekeeping for the day, they would kindly call to see if we at least needed some new towels.
The area around is awesome for those who do not want to rent a car. Everything is within walking distance.
Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

We enjoyed our stay at Shoreline hotel in Waikiki. There were many places to shop and eat, walking distance. The beach is just a short walk away. The Ross store is across the street which is the site for pick up coach bus to the North Shore.
The staff were friendly and professional.

Everything from the decor, location and staff were perfect! This is becoming my favorite hotel in Waikiki so far. Staff was really accommodating, the adjoining restaurant had some really good food, and I had a quiet room. Just one thing, there is some noise and light peeking from the bottom of the door. If there can be some rubber insulation or something, eliminating that, this would definitely raise the game of this hotel. Thank you for a great stay!

The best thing about this hotel is the staff, especially the front desk people. They are super nice and super helpful. They always greet you when you leave in the morning and when you arrive back in the evening. As this is a relatively small hotel, you really get to know each other. The second best thing about this hotel is the location. Central to EVERYTHING. The pool and room are adequate as are the other facilities. This is a very practical place to stay considering the amenities. I would definitely stay here again because of the location and the truly outstanding and amazing front desk staff.

This hotel was a great pick for an overnight stay in Honolulu before going to the airport. I only wished I had transferred to this hotel earlier in my trip! Very hip and stylish boutique vibe. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a good value for budget travel. well located for both swimming & shopping. Some staff were fab, some were not. Cleaning staff great. No plastic water bottles =great. No drinks to buy in room. A few free snacks—chips & chocolate. Nice bed & bath. Poor view of run-down building next door—not really the hotel’s fault but was unpleasant. May stay again because price was v reasonable, hotel was clean, and beach very close.

Room was not ideal for families with the small rooms
If u have big bags or a person with disabilities be warned they have a flight of stairs going up to the hotel. You would need to carry the bags.
If this was a 3 star hotel i would probably leave a bit higher rating but this a hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel, with corresponding price

Pool setup on the roof is actually pretty cool! It was not surprised but disappointed by the extra "amenity fee" that we got charged on checking in. I think it was around $130...which would be helpful to know ahead of time when considering a booking. I am finding, though, that is a pretty common occurrence in Hawaii. Waikiki is beautiful. I would stay here again despite the fact that the online booking price through Expedia is misleading.

Checking in was quite fast and easy but room was very bad and unenjoyable . Room was next to elevator which was very loud and uncomfortable. Did not sleep at all in the night and woke up constantly to sounds.

The hotel was newly decorated and staff was nice. If you’re looking for a awesome bed and the A/C to properly cool your room at night this isn’t the place. The only way the a/c will run is if your room key is in a slot in the room. So I’m not sure if it took forever to cool off when we came in or if there was something wrong with it. The bed was in my opinion very hard. Getting into the parking was horrible but the valets was very nice. The room was clean so that was important. The balcony door wouldn’t lock so make sure you check that if you have small children. They have a sign up in room that it must remain locked if not in use.

Good place if you’re looking to stay in Waikiki downtown area. Rates are cheaper than most comparable hotels. Rooms and decor are a bit dated and cheap looking. Housekeeping could do a better job tidying up, my bedding did have a stain on the blanket. Would probably stay there again simply because it’s decent and half the price of anything else in the neighborhood.

Nice hotel but beware of hidden charges.
Hotel staff was great. Clean and walking distance to many restaurants and beach. I didn’t like after prepaying for room, they charge you resort fees. Also put a hold on your card for incidentals, which doesn’t get released for 5-10 days. Whenever i prepay for my stay, resort fees are always included. Be aware of hidden charges if staying here

Great small Hotel, not too big, but the location its unbeateable, a few steps and you are in waikiki beach and the main street, the room was very pretty, everything was in order, a little small but with all the ammenitys you could need, the free coffee in the mornings was the best thing, sincerely i love it, the staff was very kind, the lobby very cute and at the end i had a very pleasant stay, thanks Shoreline Hotel.
