One of the best things about this property is its location - right across from Waikiki beach and so close to shopping, dining etc. McDonalds right next door, so handy for coffee and a quick snack. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Lots of towels, soap, drinking water dispenser downstairs for easy water. You need your room key to use the elevator so added security, there is also a security guard downstairs during the night hours. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

The location of this property can't be beat. My kid and I have stayed here 2 years in a row and the staff is super nice and very helpful. Only tricky thing is navigating the check in process if you have a car- the street gets really busy and it can be hard to back out of the small lot they have to park in the garage below. Otherwise, we love staying here!

This is a great location. 2 minute walk to the beach. Everyone who works at this hotel we met are over the top friendly. No pool, very clean small rooms, outdoor lobby but price is right! If you need a great location, clean room with great people this is the place...

A bit misleading - goofy amenities
Photo in Hotel.com site a BIT misleading. Looks like it is a beachfront hotel not across the street. We booked an "ocean view" room that too misleading as when we arrived we were talked into a "better ocean view" for another $35/day on top of the ridiculous "Amenity fee". (see photo) Fee incudes "free DVDNOW" (who watches movies in the middle of Waikiki Beach"/) CAST NOW(never found out what that was) DAILY NEWSPAPER (most were on front of rooms all day again take that expense and lower Amenity price) COMPLEMENTARY WATER BOTTLES ( ours were dusty and looked like they had been used...we did not use them) In room coffee was nice. No Pool, No lobby -- $29/Day for that. Last complaint is Housekeeping came late in the day like 3PM
Just be aware that this is bare bones lodging. Will stay elsewhere on next trip.
ALL THAT SAID the LOCATION was EXCELLENT convenient to food, beach, shopping....

We love everything about our stay in Aston Waikiki circle Hotel. All the staff and very nice specially Mr. Sean. He always make sure the guest are taking care of. House keeper are very nice too all of them. Our room is always clean. Very near in public transportation. Lots of store and restaurant around. The view from our room is amazing we can see the ocean. We will definitely go back there again.

We have stayed here many times in the past and enjoyed it. However, the police sirens and street racers go all night long. If you have an oceanfront room or view room it can be very loud… The bed and pillows were awful! The shower was barely warm. We only stayed two nights and had to give up and go somewhere else to enjoy the rest of our trip.

We arrived tired ready to enjoy, and the first thing we received was a bad attitude. When I complained about that attitude, he apologized and told me that he offered me an upgrade to the room with a better view of the beach, and I had to pay $10 more per night and I said yes. When we got to the room I realized that it was the same room that I had reserved with Expedia, I went down with the information of the room I had rented and they told me that that was not the room, that Expedia had to change the information on the rooms. They charged me $48 for parking per day $288 total, plus 60 for the upgrade and I signed a bill for $360 and asked when I arrived if there were more charges and they said no. And right now I'm checking out and they give me a bill for $550. And it turns out that there were more charges that they added and I couldn't meet to talk to the manager because he wasn't there and I could miss my flight, what can I do to fix this situation, Expedia?

This is a smaller hotel directly across the street from Waikiki. Beautiful views if you are on that side. Elevators are small. Small rooms but they utilize the space quite efficiently. Showers small but are fine. Small fridge. Microwave downstairs. Close to everything Waikiki.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The location & view is the best! And it’s clean! But seriously, that’s about it. The rooms & bathroom are very small, like cruiseship small. The beds were so horrible. Nothing comfortable about them at all. Like sleeping on the floor, but with sheets. Even though there are 2 full size beds, there’s no way 4 people would ever be comfortable in the room. There are seriously no amenities. No pool. No hot tub.no gym. No waters in the room. No restaurant or bar. No microwave. No valet. Parking absolutely stinks. If you like all the fancy and luxurious things about hotels, this is not the one for you. If you just want somewhere to crash while you go to the beach all week, then this is your hotel!

The best part abou this property is the location, the view, and the towels availability. Building is very old, rooms are very small with weird layout. Some areas of the room haven't been cleaned in years, black mold in some areas, bathroom curtains and walls had stains that I don't want to think about it. There is a free water station to fill out bottles, but it was often empty.

The staff were terrific. This is an older hotel but it is what we expected. Right across from the beach near lots of shopping and food. Very small breakfast place on site but it usually has 1-2 hr wait and only open until 1.

This hotel is a mid century modern facility that is a good value. If you need a spa, infinity pool or a Concierge pampering this isn't the place for you. If you want a good value on a clean room that is right across and overlooks the beach this is the place for you! We walked everywhere along Waikiki from the hotel and had a great time. The staff is professional and friendly. They are proud of the hotel and represent it well.

Hotel was perfect for us. 2 adults and 2 teens. It is on the small side but it was clean and who comes to Hawaii to stay inside the hotel. Nothing super fancy but The room was clean and it was cleaned everyday we stayed. The staff are the most friendly I have ever encountered at any hotel. They offer beach towels for the beach which was a life saver and free dvd rentals. They also have a water machine in the lobby where u can refill water bottles. The beach is right across the street and everything you could need is within walking distance. 10/10 would stay here again!

Lovely gem of a hotel! Our second stay. Fantastic ocean view and location. Front desk saff were always friendly and helpful. Maid service was friendly and provided great service; extra towels , coffee and creamer. Convient filtered water station and water rinsing area to remove sand. Another perfect stay.

This hotel was exactly what we needed. Right across from the beautiful beach. We enjoyed an ocean view. The housekeeping was great! There were so many shops and restaurants around. The hotel also had wifi and had towels we could take to the beach.

They charge me more than what Expedia said I would pay upfront. I paid a different amount than what my Expedia account said. I had a terrible check in experience to say the least. They need to have better documentation and communication with Expedia. Rooms are clean, but very small and the beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. You can leave your bags after check out but it’s not as flexible as other places, they seem to not like it when you take your bags out from storage on your last day. They also said there was a shower outside to clean off the sand but it’s a very small and short foot wash there’s not much that they have for client services. The resort fee seems a lot for the little perks you have. There is one microwave downstairs for a visual. The best thing about this place is the location and I don’t know that it’s worth paying all that the charges.

This is an older no thrills property. I was not aware of $45/day parking fee IF they had availability which they did not. We had to park 5 blocks away at a sister property. The room/bathroom was small and seemed clean with triple sliding doors opened to balcony. Rooms 02, 03, 04, and 05 on floors 6 and above should have really nice ocean views

Great Location
Location right opposite the beach was fantastic. We borrowed floaties from the front desk and walked across the road to the sea :)
The rooms had everything you needed, although were a bit small and dated but were better value than other options we saw. Overall, this was an excellent choice for our family group and I'd recommend for those not wanting to spend a fortune but be comfortable and in a great location.

Everything else is good except for the coffee machine and the TV. You have to pay $25 amenity fee daily tax, which includes coffee/tea maker, wifi and other things. But the coffee maker is dirty and dusty. There was a small cockroach in there. I wanted to drink tea. There was already water in there so I thought I should make a cup of hot water first to filter the dirty stuff out. The water came out brown with brown residue and dust.
The TV turned itself on at 3:57 AM…

The hotel room is small but clean. If you want to spend a lot of time in your room, this hotel is not for you. The staff is nice and responsive. The best part of the hotel y it s the location. The beach is across the street and there are many shops and restaurants around it. I'd stay here again.

The service attitude is very poor. Most of the staff are disabled people with indifferent attitude. Especially an elderly woman with a cane, who is probably a boss, has a very bad attitude. The parking area for check-in is shallow and narrow, so parking is very inconvenient. There were some verbal arguments, so my medium-sized SUV was refused to park in the hotel parking lot because it was too long and too big. How could the Waikiki Beach area accept guests for such a reason? I won’t go into more shortcomings here. The store will never be recommended and will be permanently blacklisted in my circle...

Our only complaint was we weren’t going to be staying longer! The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was perfect for the two of us as we spent most our time out of the room or on the balcony. Bed comfortable, nice bath products! Will definitely stay here again!

I just love this place, it's not super fancy but it's just a perfect little place to stay for a quick trip, plus Egg's and Things is downstairs! The beach is literally across the street! Parking lot is always full, so it's great if you don't have a car.

The views from our top floor room were amazing-the beach and sunsets, surfers and sailboats. The room itself was tiny and the furniture worn and old. There was no room for a table or counter of any kind where you could eat in the room, and no microwave (apparently typical of many hotels here). No laundry facilities, just dry cleaning and no pool. This is not your typical mainland hotel, nor is it 5 star, but you won't be paying high ($50/day) resort fees. However, you will never meet such a helpful staff, especially housekeeping. Their amenities fee was only $29. The overcrowding on Oahu was likely due to the wildfires on Maui. We were also ill and had to stay in the room so the size was probably more of an issue for us.The few days we did get out we could get right on the beach and there is a convenience store right next door which made it easier to get OTC medications and sandwiches and snacks when we couldn't go out.

When I arrive to the property the front desk
Men told me my reservation was going to take very long coming from Expedia and the parking was full
That it was better for me to go somewhere else where
They had parking available. I asked
To speak the manager and she told
The same thing, told both of them not to worry about parking that I will figure it out myself. Then all I wanted was the two days that I had reserved there and I was tired and exhausted and I just wanted to rest very bad experience not counting the fact that it’s not cheap to stay, and I will tell like that which it was very dirty they don’t have a guest services. They only have a front desk.

Been coming here for the past 10 years and they never disappoint. I don’t really focus on having too many amenities therefore this is perfect. I really only spend time here sleeping and basic necessities. It’s still a very nice even too nice for just the basic essentials. My baby sisters loved it!

It’s in the center of everything, walking distance to many places. My room was oceanfront as I reserved and I love opening the blinds or sitting at the balcony and having a breathtaking view. The small inconvenience was the limited parking.

Great hotel right in middle of everything.
It was a wonderful time in Hawaii at the Waikiki Circle Hotel. The view was incredible and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a basic hotel just a room doesn’t have all the amenities as far as gym and pool that the bigger hotels have but it’s a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and neat and best of all it’s right across the street from the beach. I will go back to stay at this hotel for our next trip.

Hotel is in an ideal location, price is very fair and the bed was comfy. I enjoyed the lanai in the mornings and evenings. The hotel is a little outdated, but I didn’t want to lounge around the hotel or have a resort experience. The hotel worked perfect for coming and going and changing of activities.

Super busy, small rooms
We were surprised at the price for what we got. The rooms were much smaller than the website photos. The eggs and things restaurant is clearly popular and as a result there were consistently 30+ people waiting to get in to eat as you got off the elevator, and each time we came and went there were always conflicts going on about when people were getting into the restaurant. In comparison to the larger resorts. The beach across the street was convenient but pretty crowded and be sure you have your own gear (seats, etc.). If you are okay with a bustling area, lots of crowds and a small hotel room the location is good. We could not wait for reservations and ended up eating mcdonalds.
