Ok but...
It could be better for the cost. For starts, they need to disclose the pet fee of $25 per pet. You get the surprise at checking in. Also, the office building looks clean but the rooms in the back are a different story; they have a dingy and dirty appearance. The paint job says seedy motel. Considering the previous, the room was not that bad. It was actually cleaned, however the entrance to the room was rather disgusting. The door was super dirty and so was the floor. The entrance didn't match the room per se. After paying $92 (fees and taxes) for the room and $50 pet fees, it was not worth the money.

had to wait to check in for 45 minutes because of some issue with the person in front of us..'no signal' on tv, so couldn't watch that..2 bugs in bathtub..promised a wake-up call that never happened..carpet was dirty..no smoking room had big cigarette burn in bedspread..bit on the leg by bedbug..not the hotel or room showed in photos before booking..no Quality here..BEWARE BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS PLACE..never again

This is a bargain for the location and immediate surroundings. Short walk to the beach, to stores, to restaurants. The rooms are not as fancy as others, but they are adequate and clean. If you are going to spend very little time in your room, and more time at the beach and shopping and doing touristy things, this is a great place.

This property is the worse to stay as soon as we walk in the front desk it was mariguana smell
In the room it was cigar smell I ask for refund since my wife suffer from allergies and they said not
We only sleep there one now get and when to another hotel we loose the money for the other 4 nights

This property definitely needs some love. The room we had had cuts in the carpet and in the bathroom there was rust on the floor from the door. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool looked clean but the area around the pool could benefit with a power wash. All in all the price was right for our 2 day stay.

The property was very close to the public access to the beach areas. The staff was friendly but the room had a water leak so there was water all over the bathroom floor. The toilet would come up off the floor on one side. It was in a safe area and there was a nice outdoor pool. It was okay for our couple of nights there but wouldn't stay longer than that. Wasn't worth the money we paid per night.

Room was old, walls were scuffed and in need of paint. Walls were damaged, bathroom was hot due to no air circulation. Pool area was not appealing and I received a puncture wound from a rusty screw while trying to open the pool gate. Had to move rooms due to a dog barking next doo. Balcony was closed and off limits due to unsafe conditions. Elevator was steamy and not air conditioned. Definitely would never stay here again!!!

Great location at an affordable price
My girlfriend and I love this hotel. We have been twice in a month. It is the most affordable place to stay and be able to walk to the beach. Great location for good restaurants and great shopping. For an old beach motel, it is top notch. In 9 years of travel we have stayed in this motel 6 or 7 times.

Front door not safe cause stayed open unless you really pull itin to keep it closed.
Carpet on the property very dirty and had a lot rips and tears in different areas.
Pool sign stated 8am-10pm but on Saturday it was closed by 9.

Couch from hell
There was a couch in our room that looked like it was brought in from a chuck out.
The room smelled pretty bad and was dirty.

Very dirty and run down. Nasty Carpet & the ceiling was cracked and coming down in bathroom. We left 1 day early because it was that Awful inside. However the Area surrounding it is Lovely.

I understand hotels need to follow rules. But there is more in life than what is written in a paper. I scheduled a weekend to spend it with my family. Unfortunately, I made a mistake when booking and pick the wrong city. I called immediately after the booking. The booking was nonrefundable. I told them that I picked the wrong city. I asked for a transfer, never asked for refund. They denied it and I couldn't afford to pay it two times so I couldn't spend that time with my husband, son, and grandson. Missing that weekend was very sad for me. The room was booked 3 weeks in advance, and they didn't agree to a transfer to the correct city, plenty of time to get the rooms sold again. In this case two rooms were empty, while a grandma/grandson were sad for loosing the money and the trip :(

Not terrible, but not good either.
It was okay. Nothing amazing. No real quality that stood out. It wasn't dirty except when I pulled the couch out to a bed. It was filthy. You could tell they never cleaned it and they didnt have sheets or blankets for it. I tried calling the front desk, no one answered so at 11pm I walked down there and took it upon myself to get them. I also asked every day for someone to come clean my room. Just sweep, vacuum and take the trash out and no one ever did. Again I had to go down to house keeping and ask for towels because no one answered the phone. I guess you get what you pay for, but I’ve stayed at cheap places before with better customer service. Also i know this isnt on the hotel, but someone coming may want to know the walkway to the beach its not real far at all, maybe .16 miles or so, but omg its rough. Literally falling through in several places my kids hurt themselves more then once. Again it wasn't terrible but probably wont stay their again.

My bed had blood on it and in sheets the phone does not work in the room to call front desk. I requested for them to change the sheets but when I got back to my room, only one bed was changed not both. So when I went back down to the front Desk , she let me know that there is no one else on staff but her so she gave me another home in addition to that the first room smell like wet dog first second one was much better.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I wrote management a week ago and still haven’t heard back. First room had someone’s hair on couch and bed, bathtub was black, second room the toilet was full of poop (I have the picture). Finally a third room was decent, I just gave up. In major need of people who care about their job and rooms need renovation. They are dark and falling apart.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel. For the price, this hotel was fine. The toilet overflowed in our first room and with no maintenance on site, we were moved to the only available other room. It was on the 4th floor. The elevator button on 4 did not work so had to walk down to 3 to get the elevator. I left my watch charger plugged in and when I got home on Sunday night I called the hotel. I was told that the cleaning crew would not be in until Monday and to call back Monday afternoon. When I did call back, I was told it was not found.

You get what you pay for.
I normally stay in condos but because I was only staying one night I figured a hotel won't be so bad. Well, it was. The room was stuffy and stale. There were mildew stains on the bathroom ceiling and in the mini fridge. The a/c wasn't really cool although I set the temp at 68 degrees. The carpet was suspect and had missing spots; no telling how dirty it was. It was dark so I guess that was a good thing for them. I refused to even walk in my socks on the floor. Although the sheets looked clean, I still used towels to sleep on instead of directly on the sheets or spread. I could not close the curtains for privacy. A grass cutter was directly outside my window at one point and could see clearly in my room. I had to pin the curtains closed. Upon returning after out to dinner, I entered my room and there were 2 roaches inside!!
I will NEVER stay here; even for an hour!!! "Quality" should not be in the name.

Worst Quality Inn anywhere
Worst Quality Inn ever! Check in person not friendly. Furniture in room was scratched, soiled and in need of replacement. Carpet worn clear through to pad in 2 places. It was so dirty it was sticky and turned the soles of our feet black. Couldn’t turn the shower on. Baseboards were very dirty and broken in places. Black plastic bags over light fixture at elevator. Broken hair dryer. No ice machine working on our floor. Large tear in the bedspread. On a positive note, the sheets were clean and bed comfortable.
We have stayed at Quality Inns all over the country and have always been pleased, but this one is an embarrassment to the Quality Inn name.

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling over the shower. The exhaust fan had not been cleaned for years. There was a hole in the bathroom wall where someone had slammed the door open into the wall. There was a patched hole in the bathtub. The shower head was leaking. The ceiling was falling in by the door to the balcony that you could not access.

The room had a musty, moist, wet, humid feeling to it and smell to it, even with the AC set at a really cold temperature..you just could not get rid of that feeling/smell. By the second night the bed felt wet! It was so uncomfortable that my family and I decided to leave that Wednesday night when we were supposed to leave Thursday morning, because we could not take one more night there. You could also tell that "they" clean half ass there because we found an old hair tie with hair on it by the phone area and also the couch that they had in the room, I would NOT even sit on it, it looks worn out..if you know what I mean. I was just grossed out honestly..but hey you get what you paid for. I also like to touch on the musty moist feeling which was really not a surprise since the hotel is not the far from the beach. but still...never again.

Overall it was a good time! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. I stayed in the king room and it could have been bigger. The bathroom was super small! I also didnt like that we were only alloted minimal towels. I was told to turn in my old towels in order to get fresh ones. Which isnt an issue but i thought hotels were in the business of hospitality? Why coulsnt they bring towels to our room? I shouldnt have to go to the laundry room just to ask for towels.

This property is FILTHY. Couch in room was FILTHY. Carpet is FILTHY. This room is for sleeping only. The price is outrageous for what you get. But it’s close to the beach. Your shoes will actually stick to the carpet- the floor is so dirty. I stayed 4 days- room was not cleaned ever and trash was not taken out ever.

I stayed here about 7 years ago and the rooms were fine, but this time it was so run down, the bathroom was awful. It really needs some up keep as we paid $250 a night. Also when we checked in the person was so rude and did not even acknowledge we were there.

They are tearing this motel down because it is cheaper to build a new motel than remodel this one. The management said this is their last season. Also, walk-ins were offered about 100 dollar cheaper rates than what I was charged. I wanted to cancel the room because of its condition and they said they would still charge me the full amount that I had booked.

Liked that it was four minutes from the beach. Some of the staff was friendly and professional. The bed was very comfortable. My wife was woken up the first night by the sound of water pouring through our bathroom ceiling. It was pouring in from six different spots and the floor was drenched. Kaitlyn was very efficient and moved us to another room immediately and informed the general manager. Moved to a room with two queen beds but we paid for a king. General manager gave the worst customer service we’ve ever seen. Very rude and belligerent to us and we witnessed the same to another customer. It’s spoiled our first night there as my wife couldn’t get to sleep until 3 o’clock in the morning. Some of our belongings got spoiled from the dirty water from the leak. Room smelled of urine. We were moved to a third room where we got a king size bed for the second night. Third room did not have a bathtub but that was OK. My wife fell from tripping over a piece of equipment that was sticking out from under the door of the storage room on the walkway in front of our room.

room was not ready upon arrival, check in was at 4 left and came back around 530 room was still not available, asked if i could cancel the room without charge due to the room was not available, i was told that would not be an issue. left and went and found a room else where and i was still charged for the room, spoke to a very very rude lady named Pamela on Tuesday reguarding the charge and she refused a refund and was just the most rudest person i have ever dealt with and all she could keep repeating to me was she knows the owner and i know he will not refund this, at one point she actually called me stupid for thinking they would refund my money, cant understand why i would be charged for something that is a mistake on there part, drove 600 miles for a huge disappointment, will never even consider this place again, be aware of this place.........

Checked in, and then checked out 5 minutes later. This entire facility is so terrible that it should not be considered fit for occupancy by state heath and environmental agency in Florida. Also there was glitches in the power that the state fire marshal would likely consider closing the entire hotel down if they were aware. My family was not able to stay in this facility and had to immediately find another room at a nearby hotel that was inhabitable. I hope that there is a way to recover the money I spent on this room which was not fit for occupancy. Disgusting smell of mold, ceilings and walls peeling with rust pouring from bathroom fixtures and cracked tile throughout. This place needs to be demolished and I was told by the customer service agent in staff that there were plans for that in the works! Close this place now!

No shuttle to the beach as advertised but there is public beach access less than a 10
minute walk away. 40 minute walk to Pompano Joes, 20 minute walk to Whales Tales. Located 5 minutes away from CVS, Windixie, outlet mall. Very far from
Destin boardwalk, will need transportation.
Room needs updating, broken phone and bathroom facilities, smell of mold; however, room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Older hotel and not very well maintained. Cleanliness needs work, because it’s not very good. The room was spacious, and having a refrigerator and microwave was nice. Also, the bed was pretty comfortable. The pool area was lackluster because there was only one chaise chair to lay on, and it was broken. However, it’s close to the shopping and very quick walk to the beach. If you’re going for a night or 2 it’s not awful, but don’t expect much!

Bed was comfortable. Room spacious with good food and clothing hanging and storage area. . Pool closed. Lobby bathroom out of order. Tv not working well ( kept cutting off) room was generally dark and shabby. There was no place to sit outside even though there is a small balcony. They had sealed off the balcony door, so you couldn’t open it to get fresh air. The lobby is ok , but not off limits to guests due to covid restrictions.

I paid 300 a night to be told that they won’t clean the rooms but if you leave excess trash you will be charged. Also, it is spring break and the pool is closed. At first they said because the doors needed to be fixed and now they’re saying the pump. So

The beds were VERY comfortable and the pillows were awesome. Overall, it wasn't bad. But, the room definitely needed a serious deep clean. The floors were really gross, like our socks (cause we definitely weren't going barefoot in there) were brown on the bottom after walking around in there for a bit. The hard floors were grimy and had a slick build up on them. I'm the bathroom, under the sink especially, in the corners it was very dirty. Like, you could see that the mop hadn't gotten to that area for a LONG time. And the bathroom door could use some serious magic eraser action.
Other than that, it smelled clean, the location was good, and it was remarkably quiet. The outside was pretty rough, but overall not the worst.
I had very little interaction with the staff, but I don't have any complaints about that. The hotel, overall, just needs a big dose of TLC and a deep clean.

Reception not familiar with job description. Understaffed or on staff just lazy/difficult. First room was latched from inside keeping us from entering. Moved to room next door to find a tub full of water yet faucet had no leak, Toilet paper was half used already yet all other housekeeping had been done. Roaches found on both beds and large one dead right in entrance. Asked clerk for bleach or cleaning supplies for us to clean the tub. She was visibly annoyed with having to get some and stated she'd have to call maintenance for entry to supplies. Eventually got a bottle of some sort of cleaner. My elderly mother booked the room for us and my 2 small children through hotels.com where ratings and reviews were obviously total bull. All that said, bedding was stain free, made nicely, comfortable , and had plenty of comfy pillows. So ,happy customers? No. Better than sleeping in the cold? Yes

They are severely understaffed. Our toilet would not flush, and they said we had to go buy a plunger and try to fix it ourselves. The next morning they did give us a plunger, but my husband still had to fix it. Ice only on the 4th floor. Terribly overpriced for the service. Breakfast was prepackaged muffins and such. Bed was comfortable. I have stayed in worse, but at the price they charge it should be top notch.

I did not stay at this hotel. Went to 2 different rooms, microwave smelled so bad thought I was going to vomit. Hair in toilet and bathroom floor. Couch looked bad.German roach crawling on wall. Hotel would not give me my money back for Friday night, but did not stay there.

Sorry but as soon as I arrived walking into the lobby the front door was dirty finger prints all over the doors, walked in and the desk attendant was taking care of a child the child was behind the front desk and laying on the floor, the dining tables in the lobby were all dirty, the back door leading to the poor area was just as bad as the front door the pool area was dirty trash cans were over filled and spilled out onto the floor with trash.me and my family got on the elevator and almost got stuck between floor and with no A/C it was dirty the room on the 2nd floor the attendant had given us was occupied

Very dirty room, the facility was dirty. Customer service was good. Disappointed in sanitation. We used our own Clorox wipes to clean inside after we had the room vacuumed. No pillowcases on pillows and no towels in room. The room had been cleared for use just before we had arrived.

The stay was nice, room was very clean and stocked. The walk to the beach was easy and very short. The cost per night AMAZINGLY CHEAP.(we did reserve 6 months in advance).
Staff was friendly for most part, they didnt treat you like a monster for being a smoker. The parking was big and plentiful. Shops and restaurants across the street. Pool was clean and accessible. The elevator worked. DirecTV in all rooms, mini fridge in room a couch and huge king bed. Lots of storage and hangging space. Alot of good compaired to the bad
THINGS I DIDNT LIKE:
No ice machine worked, which is probably a good thing because they were pretty nasty. The drink machines were ALL out of items, the beach shower is a 3' piece of water hose with a sprayer you have to pick up and use. Not a real shower or even close. 4 very small pillows to sleep on in a king size bed, glad we brought our own. Very small bath room.. But look, for 100$ a night 200' away from ocean with their own board walk straight to the beach, how can you really complain if your not filthy rich. I mean we stayed for 5 nights for just over 600$. You have to give up some things if your looking for a deal and we got a great deal. We had alot of fun and did it cheap too. I dont think they deserve 3.3 star rating even with above stated problems. 4. would be more fair. They are not a high dollar establishment and you get what u pay for. Very happy and may come back next year. That depends on available funds at the time of booking

The staff was super friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily. Beds were very comfortable.

The property has direct access to the beach which was nice, but our room had mold, old food was left in the refrigerator, the patio door was screwed shut and there were roaches in the bathroom.
