Check in was awkward, they kept asking what we wanted for a bed but we had already booked through Expedia. The room was beat up, furniture busted & worn out. Shower facet broken, doors water damaged. We ended up not staying there. Asked for a refund after being there only 10 minutes & they refused. Front desk was not concerned about the state of the room. Offered to show us another room but said all were the same. Will continue to fight for a refund.

Old and noisy
Everything is old (furniture). The lobby is dirty. None of the ice machines are working. It was noisy at night and woke up with a headache. Just not what I expected of a Ramada hotel. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed that the hot tub didn’t work and we weren’t told about that at check in. Also needed an extra blanket in our room and was told from the person working that he didn’t have access to the laundry room.

Do not stay at Ramada Arizona Mills
Do not stay at this hotel, it is appalling. Fitness centre closed, Breakfast not available due to staff shortage, no coffee/tea facilities in the room and right next to a very busy main road with a lot of noise. Door opening and closing during the night, not sure what this hotel is being used for. Definitely would never stay there again.

We hit this property at a bad time. Due to supply chain issues, there was no breakfast or other dining. The Fitness Center, the Business Center, and the Laundry were all closed. The men's bathroom off the lobby was also out of order. The lobby staff were very good, and we checked in and out quickly.

Needs remodeling
First room was really dirty and the door didnt lock. The bathroom was very nasty. Had to ask for another room. Next room was better. Not as dirty but every thing very dusty maybe from the freeway being so close. Looks like a club is right in front so it was hard to get to at times. No breakfast at all. Signs inside saying thats why the price was reduced. Lets just say not worth the price.

Medium Ghetto. Hotel shares a parking lot with a strip club and Waffle House. Very basic rooms, tv was really dim. Jacuzzi was locked up (big reason I booked this place) fitness room shut down. But staff were nice and helpful. Ok place if you just need a place to sleep in a convenient location. Right off a freeway. Mall across the street.

this place was dirty, the floor hadn't been clean, had to flush the toilet about three times, and for the price I paid, would never make a reservation there again, and no breakfast of any kind, oh and that's why the price was lower, still paid a high price.

We arrived on November 9th I called from the airport to ask if there was somewhere secure to store our luggage so we could spend the day shopping before checking in (as we arrive morning and couldn’t check in until the afternoon). They said yes. When we arrived, after traveling all day my daughter needed to use the bathroom but there was a water main break on the main floor so there was NO washroom to use. I then asked them to store our luggage and the manager simply said, “is there valuables in the bags?” Well, we hoped to leave all our bags but guess we couldn’t be cause we had lap tops so we said no and hoped to leave our 2 larger suitcases and we would continue to carry our back packs. He said just leave them in the lobby right there, don’t worry we are always here (with the door open to the parking lot and with “strange” people hanging out by the main door) We had to leave them out in the lobby with everyone to see or have access to, but we didn’t have a choice, our kids were hungry and we needed to use a bathroom.
When we booked it said Breakfast was included as did the pictures show and still show (I believe the verbiage was removed from the expedia website)
When we booked it listed fitness room but that was also no longer running (I have pictures of the front desk with the signs saying they weren't offering breakfast or the fitness
We left our 2 suitcases and headed to eat and that's when I decided to cell expedia to see if they could move us but they couldn't ...

Over most hotels in the area this one was very pricey; you may ask why I chose this one was because online I was promised indoor spa and breakfast. Upon showing up the spa was outside and said breakfast was closed since covid. With all of this the Staff was very in-personable and even barged into our room midday with no knock or anything. Did not feel welcome and in that area was also worried about getting our vehicle broken into as well. So overall it was a room but there are much cheaper rooms and better hotels in the area that have what is promised online.

Extremely disappointed for Ramada
The workers were fighting in front of me when checking in….. room smelled like dirty laundry….. they wrote on the water faucet in marker “Pull” room had an overall appearance of being dirty… hair in shower and blow dryer didn’t work… no breakfast or coffee service in am…. Won’t be going back here

The family that owns the property is living in the lobby. Everything is closed…No breakfast No fitness center
No pool No hot tub. The reason I booked here was all of these amenities were listed…drug addicted maids cleaning rooms at 8pm on a Saturday night is a big red flag in my book. Hotel took $100 deposit from me…nothing in my room was worth $100. Not even the TV. I do Not recommend this hotel to anyone. $130 is too high for a bed and a TV. Don’t advertise breakfast and a hot tub when you can’t deliver. That’s misleading and false advertising.

Do not choose this hotel.
Whole hotel looks like dirty. In our room we did not even have two face towels, there was not a single glass in the room. The old air conditioner was noisy, like a blacksmith's shop, and every time it turned on you had to wake up. Hotel does not provide breakfast, a receptionist recommended us a cafe which was awful.

Don’t stay here.
This place is awful. It shares a parking lot with a giant strip club. We found spent shelll casings in the parking lot. There were people drag racing all night in the street. The room was 90 degrees when we got in it at 9pm. All services from workout room, laundry, breakfast and coffee where shut down “due to COVID”. 2021 called they want their excuses back. Do not stay here.

The room was clean, but the shower barely worked. I also wanted to swim, but the pool closed at 9, which is kind of early here in Arizona, when the temps exceed 100. Other than that, the stay was fine and we stayed cool, which was the goal since our air is broken at home.

I'm almost positive this place has bedbugs! I checked everywhere the night before and it seemed ok, but the next day, after I had already checked out, I had little bites start popping up! I also couldn't walk around in my socks because the floor got them FILTHY. It's like they hadn't ever swept or mopped the wooden floors. I stayed because of the location, but wouldn't stay here again. Find another hotel!

Not what the Ramada name used to mean. Lobby a shambles, room had broken mirror and loose tub fixtures. Clean towels for second day were difficult to obtain, and lobby was locked when I went to check out. I'd gladly pay more for a better experience elsewhere.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. We were on the second floor and the floor was bowed in the middle as if it was caving in. We had to tie a cord around the handle on the night stand to keep the drawer from opening all the time due to the floor because the stand was leaning so bad to the middle of the floor. The desk chair kept rolling to the middle of the room because of that too. I can't say anything bad about the staff, we really had no contact with them. I'm sure they're doing the best they can with what they have to work with.

Choose this place because it had “breakfast” as my son was out here playing. Rooms were not only dirty but not nice at all. Bathroom door handle was off, mold on the ceiling, remote was broken. Just uncomfortable and not what is on the pictures or expect at all!

got a room for spring training, i booked it and called asking if the pool and spa was open, i was told it was and then it was not.l after i checked in. maintenance workers woke me up at 6am working out side of my room. The bathrooms were disgusting rust and stains throughout the shower. There were instructions in sharpie on the shower
nozzle. It was not a clean room and i didn’t feel comfortable. I will never stay here again

If you can afford to pay a bit more somewhere else, it's probably worth the investment. The staff member who greeted me was very professional, and the cleaning staff who we saw around were friendly. However, the property is adjacent to an adult-entertainment cabaret, and our room looked like the scene of a lot of wild nights. The furniture was broken, the bedskirt had holes, the hook on the door to the bathroom was missing, the tub had some permanent stains and a ratty shower curtain, etc. The pool apparently WAS open, but had a sign that read closed. We asked to change out towels on our second night, but were told they weren't available until 9 or 10 the next morning (but they did give us an extra roll of toilet paper upon request-- helpful, because there wasn't any tissue in the room). We stayed in Phoenix over a busy weekend (Spring Training and Taylor Swift concerts in town), so this was really a supply/demand issue. I'm a little sick about paying so much for such a shoddy place, but it is what it is. Again, the human resources were fine, but the property itself leaves much to be desired.

For the price, this place was disappointing. The room needs repair in many areas. There was nothing available at 8:45am for "take away breakfast". The guests above us were sliding room furniture around during the night, at different times. No clock in the room. No luggage rack. We choose not to place suitcases on the floor in rooms. There should not be a reason for this place to be a bit run down, the rates are overpriced. They are definitely making money.

Run.. the property is rundown, behind a Cabaret. The tub in the bathroom was dirty and peeling. Behind and around the toilet was dirty. One of the beds had the metal frame sticking out of it. The pool and fitness center were closed. The coffee machine was beyond filthy. You are better off staying in a motel and less then half the rate of this place.

It’s been a while since I have stayed in a Ramada, but I guess I thought of that name as a higher quality than this one was. Property and building felt a bit dingy. The room itself was just fine, except for cleanliness. It seemed they had done a rush job in cleaning after last guest. The Kleenex was empty, there were 2 clumps of hair on the floor, and the stainless steel plate around the handle and lock on the inside of the door has fingerprints all over it. Towels were thin and scratchy.

Showers Clogged, they do not take cards only cash
Yhe worse stay every. I stay on hotels regularly and this one is really bad. Showers are clogged with dirty water stain in the floor and when you check in they will say that they do not take Visa, Master Card, AMEX just so you feel obligated to use their ATM machine that charge $4 for withdrawals because they only take cash for damage deposit. I took this hotel because all others were book when I should of just keep driving for an extra couple of hours.

The hotel was bad. Mold in the bathroom, cracked drywall throughout, exterior door had large gaps, and it was extremely loud. Hookers in the lobby, people bargaining their rate at the front desk. Terrible.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Was stranded in Phoenix so had to find a room. The cost for the run down barely working hotel is a crime in my opinion. The morning coffee they provided was from a very broken machine that literally produced mud. How can they serve that? The bathroom fixtures were broken. There were stains on all the towels and some of the bedding. Not one item in the room didn’t need some attention or replacement. Hotels.com should even offer this horrendous of a hotel to its customers. Come on! I trust you guys. BAD!

This was worst than a Motel 6. It’s so dirty and disgusting. So many people walking around drunk. No hot water or even warm water to shower. Hear everything thur the walls. Bed was the worst so hard and uncomfortable. The front desk employees were getting so much complaints about double charges. If you stay here make sure you double check your bank account.

the room that was book was a none smoking room, but as i open the door it smelled like an ash try and like if someone had just got done smoking in the room. Second thing is that room also had a strong order of urine (pee) in the room. so, I would not recommend this hotel to any friends or family members.

Unhappy about our stay
Check in was very slow. I felt not the greatest at all during check in, the front desk took a photo copy of my ID. I’ve never had to do that at other hotels I recently stayed at. I was told they just started doing that. There is only one way on to the property. I felt unsafe on the property because there was someone in their car watching everyone come in and out. I had to keep looking out the window to check on my car until that person left.

Our room was ok. I asked for top floor quiet area please. The receptionist acted like he didn't want to give me top floor. Plus he put us right by highway noise. Therexwas a 2 inch gap under the door so air blew in. No kleenex. Suppose to have breakast included no breajfast.

Front desk staff was extremely rude. We didn't feel welcome and they were not communicative at all. Room was dirty. Shower didn't work. Area around it was sketchy. We originally chose the room for the hot tub and pool. It was closed early and then looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Just awful. Especially for the price we paid for it.

The room didn’t even get cleaned before our arrival. There was different kinds of hair stuck on the bedding. The floor was dirty. My family took off their shoes and with just a walk across the floor our socks were black and dirty. There were stains and things stuck on the vanity counter. The bathroom was very dusty, as if it hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Corners had dust and lint buildup. We were afraid to sleep in the room. We went down to the office to ask for new/clean linen and additional towels. We were told that they were all being cleaned in the laundry room. Nothing was available. When I checked in I told the staff that I wanted to pay with to separate cards. And they said it was fine. When I checked out they put it all on one card. And said that it was already paid for. I asked to speak to the manager but was told “they didn’t have one.” I specifically told them that I didn’t want it to go one one card.
All round it was horrible service. I definitely would not recommend at all.

Very Disappointed, Wouldn’t recommend.
Very disgusted that Hotels.com would seven offer or represent a place like this. I wanted to leave the moment walked in the room, but unfortunately was on a delayed airline arriving at 1am and airlines lost our luggage and traveling with my two daughters it was too late to find another hotel at ride to go to another hotel. My daughters were very uncomfortable were so scared as we had random knocks at the door all hours of the night. Beds were uncomfortable, very squeaky, the front door seemed to not close correctly thin walls and can hear everything from the room above us and the rooms next to us and the sound of traffic of the interstate all night. Very disappointing when asking for an early check out, the front desk advise me I would still be charged for the night stay.

We were really frustrated that they have a mandatory $100 deposit that you must pay to check in.
The lobby smells like smoke.
The pool and fitness center are misleading. No one would ever in their right mind use them.
There is no breakfast included.
They give you a coffee maker that required coffee pods (but do not give you the coffee pods).
It is definitely it in the nice part of Tempe.
However, the rooms inside were clean and the cleaning lady was very nice.
Perhaps a solo guy trying to save money would be fine here, but definitely not for families.

Slow service. Check-in took 15 minutes. Employee had zero sense of urgency or customer service skills. First room had a bad smell. Business Owner: Fix your service if you want to fix your business: speed up your check-in process (2 min or less), add breakfast, add room cleaning, clean smoke filled rooms!, give more soap, shampoo, stop being so cheap. Cheap is not a great experience. Stop blaming everything on covid and staffing issues. Overcome it. I write reviews to help the owners. Take this to heart. Do better.

It’s not Right, But it’s OK…
The room and beds were nice, but the bathroom was dirty, bathtub needed to be cleaned. There was no toilet paper. We had to buy our own toilet paper. The coffee machine was broken and the service at the front desk was not completely friendly. The photo online of the front of the hotel is Deceiving… And right in the same parking lot as this hotel is a Cabaret.. Would not recommend bringing kids. If your looking for just a place to sleep and leave this will fit that bill..

We were in town for a Christmas party nearby. We were asked to pay a $100 deposit on the room for incidentals, and I am not sure why. Upon opening the door, the room stunk of marijuana. Looking upon the king sized bed, we had 3 small 1/2 sized pillows...like small throw pillows. That was it. Not suitable for actually sleeping.

Walked into a single lit front desk area, sketchy, one person behind counter, no manager on duty.
While attempting to check in, dude rolls in on a skateboard to the collect laundry. The hotel is front of a gentlemen's club, what?? All amenities were not available. No gym, no breakfast, no lounge, Wi-Fi down. False advertising!!!
Walked outside, headed to room and had to second guess staying. Would my car be safe, oh and $25 more for a truck. Turned key back in and did not stay.
Discussed refund for false advertising and the luxuries of the hotel were not available however because we booked on hotels.com as the counter person says no refunds are possible.

TV did not work and they didn’t come fix it till second day. Only came when my husband went to front desk to complain for second time. Room was not clean. No blankets on bed, Sheets only. Toilet stopped working second night. Husband got it working. Employees didn’t seem to care about any of our issues. We will never stay at this property again.

Do not stay here. Pay the extra 20 and get a decent room. First several bugs in the room extremely sticky floor, dirty bathroom. Hard cheap bed. And on top of that they tried to hustle us for our deposit for smoking. Funny thing is we don't smoke. Scammers stay away. In addition it has zero amenities

I associated Wyndham and Ramada with at least a decent, moderately priced brand. The check in was as if I was a criminal. the other people checking in probably were criminals. The room was out of the 1970's. The front desk manager tried to convince me to give up my reservation because as it said, "i had such a good deal" and they were fully booked that maybe I would want to stay someplace else. He was right that I would think the place was disgusting, but at 10 PM, I just wanted to lay down and go to sleep. I certainly did not want to start driving around to search for someplace else. I thought that a Ramada across from Arizona Mills and across the freeway from a major hotel would be a decent place to rest my head for 7 hours. At least I was able to rest my head, but I could not wait to get out of this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible dirty and u safe
Horrible, where do i start? First NONE of the amenities are available so don’t believe anything advertised. Room was nasty items left from previous people in the room microwave broken stains on the sheets and the toilet. There was blood splatter in the elevator and LOTS of sketchy people walking around. A man reported his room was broken into upon me being at the front desk to switch rooms. i immediately asked for a refund as i was NOT staying there. They gave me the run around for hours until finally agreeing to give me a refund. We shall see previous reviews show they are scamsters unbelievable that ramada has their name on this property that is independently owned and operated. It is NOT safe do not go here at all.
