Decent-Would stay again
Nice secure building. Much cleaner & nicer than expected for the price, as several other inexpensive hotels in the area are pretty rough. Full fridge, sink, microwave & a hot plate are nice features. Bedding was light/thin weight. No one stationed at front desk in evening arrival or the morning when leaving.

Not the best, certainly not the worst
I'll start with the staff. The only positive thing about this hotel. They were friendly and helpful. The entire hotel smelled like weed. The beds were hard as a rock. There wasnt even a box of tissue in the room and it was pretty dirty. It was somwhere to be a for a night while a family member was at the hospital.

Nice hotel stay only thing I didn’t like no free breakfast no room service u had to bring your own pots pans etc. Also u have to change out towel at the front desk only. Other then that my stay was okay

It seemed safe and that is a big thing. The only thing that needs to be changed is that when people cook they need to be told to turn on the fan so in the middle of the night the alarms do not go off and we all have to go outside because we are staying there for work

This hotel is more like a section 8 housing building. Loud, drunks stumbling around, dirty room, body oder smell, then best of all cockroaches. Also if you have problems after 8-9p they have no front desk. You'd be better off sleeping in your car than here. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel. Sketchy place, don't stay here....

This was for an extended stay of 28 days. I was forced to vacate the location after 13 days due to finding roaches two days in a row on the 12th and 13th days of my stay.

New & Clean - friendly staff, affordably priced.
This hotel was new & very clean. I appreciated the elevator.
The front desk closes, but there is a phone - so you can check in after hours.
There’s a cook top, full sink & fridge in the unit, which would be nice for longer stays.
Someone set off the smoke alarm one night & we all had to shuffle outside at 3am on a chilly night - not ideal with a 4mo old baby.
Staff was friendly & it was lower priced than the ones less than a mile down Cicero in Bedford Park!

They increased my Saturday rental fee because they were sold out! I explained my fee was booked weeks in advance, but they said they have the authority to change their nightly rate at any time. That does not seem fair to me.

This was by far the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Everything was bad. I cannot express how absolutely gross and awful the stay was. This place should be shut down fir roaches alone.

Price is the only good thing
Sketchy area, front clerk barely noticed us too busy on her phone taking personal calls, cupboard in room door was broken off, bathroom vanity was gross, very thin walls could hear lots of noise throughout the night.

Basic room with full fridge and microwave.
Bare bones extended stay property. Quiet residential neighborhood. Room was very sparse, only sheets, no blanket. No coffee maker in room.
Service was friendly. Floor was a little dirty. Lampshade missing from one lamp in room and overhead lights were hit and miss.

The staff was very accommodating, allowing an early check in & providing animedities without question. The room was spacious and clean but the water pressure was low in the shower. The exercise room was nice & clean but the machine with weights didn't have proper attachments so that it could be used.
Some of the hallways wasn't as clean as the rooms, it seemed that a fair share of locals stayed there who were sometimes noisy and of questionable character. Hotel staff received a noise complaint for my room & I was only watching TV which was not loud. Fire alarm went off one night, false alarm but was very annoying to say the least.

This hotel is a nightmare. Choose to sleep in the airport instead of this filthy, unsafe place. Front desk is horribly rude and there were flies crawling all over the room. Bed looked slept in already! I’ve never been so disgusted by a hotel. Zero stars!

I walked barefoot in the room for 5 minutes and my feet were brown. The property is dirty everywhere. There are no sheets on the bed, just one fitted sheet and a blanket. It looks like a nice property however it’s just not taken care of at all. Decided to stay only one night.

I thought the property was in an average area but there were people hanging out right outside the building that made me feel unsafe, especially at night. Not sure if they were guests or not but even guests inside this place made me feel unsafe. Also, there are limited amenities in the room. There was no hair dryer, no iron, there were only 2 towels in the bathroom and one bar of soap. The building and room were not too bad. This seemed like the type of place where locals leave/runaway from home and stay here. Needless to say, won't stay here again.

The toilet sit was broken. Woke up to a fire alarm at 5 o'clock in the morning when it was no fire. Not enough Bath towels when there's 3 adults in one child in the bedroom. Only pleasant thing that I got out of my visit that I did receive Very nice customer service. No extra tissue Had to go out and buy tissue for my room.

Room was dirty. Arrived late at night, checked in, and pulled back the sheets to go to bed and there were several hairs there, and also on the floor throughout the room and also on the wash cloth. Called down to the desk for replacement and was told the linen room was locked over night and nothing could be done until morning. I have never seen a room so poorly cleaned and ambivalence by the staff. Will never stay with this brand again.

Perfect place to stay for lollapalooza. Great clean room, big clean bathroom, convenient microwave and fridge, working AC. Staff was pleasant to talk to and very helpful. Made me fall in love with Chicago as a traveler from Philly.

Hotel was ok, however, there are areas for improvement. The room was not cleaned for the week I stayed, and they say they only do cleaning every 14 days. There were people living in the hotel, as there were carrying large amounts of groceries into the room. We were woken up by the fire alarm at 5 am one morning as someone burned the breakfast and the fire department was called. Saturday night was pretty loud with parties and people coming and going. The area is not the safest, although it was convenient for my purposes in town. On my last day there was one person causing trouble and harassing people going about their morning. Luckily, the police was called and he was taken away. Although the hotel worked for my purposes, I don't think I would stay again.

This was my first and last time I ever stayed at this place. The woodspring suites did not have any person on call for any issues you face after hours. The number they wrote on the front desk went straight to voicemail mail which never got answered.
Their card suddenly stopped working, the worst card ever! I could not enter my room or the property and had to stay in my car all night! with my pregnant wife!
Worst every services! extremely unprofessional!
This makes me wonder what if I need the front desk help for any reason at after hours? they just won’t answer! what a bad service!

This was not my first choice of places to stay. Everything else was booked. It was clean, but had the bare minimum.
Not even a coffee maker in the room. The fire alarm went off just as I was going to bed. Someone in the hall told me that was the 3rd time that week that this happened. I would not recommend this place. No where to eat and too far to walk to anywhere outside the hotel.

Although I checked in, signed paperwork and paidy money inwasnt in their system property which caused them to give my room to another guest. So I'm in my bed without any clothes on and a man walks into my room. The front counter lady did nothing to accommodate my distress and at this point this is when we discovered i wasnt even listes as a guest but she was the one who checked me in. Then the next two days I stayed every day when I got out of bed my door was unlocked and I swear I heard someone open the door. When I called the front desk, the manager said it was house keeping, but shouldnt house keeping knock first and he was unaware of the situation that happened to me the day before
Very scary experience. Would not recommend. I should have checked out early.

What I liked was that the rooms where specious, tidy and generally clean. What I didn't like was that the room floor needed a mopping and that other guests keep activating the smoke alarm at the most inconvenient hours and everyone had to go outside until the fire service arrived. This happened five times in a two week stay. The hotel needs to fine guest who send off the alarm.

Disappointing Experience
The key card would unpair itself everyday (I could not enter the door), meaning I would have to talk to the front desk to pair it again to my room. They also didn't check verification, just asked for the room #, could've given any number and would access to that room.
The gym had no free weights, only elliptical machines very disappointing. The room was clean though. Would only recommend coming here for a short stay.

Newer model rooms but no amenities in room. You only get 2 towels regardless if you have more guests. They should tell you over the phone you must bring your own (everything) when you come. The room floor was dirty and unswept. I came and sanitized from top to bottom then swept the floor. Customer Service at front desk was rude when we first checked in. The next day someone more pleasant was there.

Great Deal- Not so Great Execution
I reserved three rooms- 2 doubles and one single. I received two singles and one double, and the double had dirty floors, which we cleaned with shampoo and a towel. The person on duty was nice but not flexible with her instructions. She charged me an additional $16.00 to get the second double. I also paid for the additional internet, but it would not load on my second device. It was supposed to load on three devices. I loved the room layout and the size. I had a lot of computer work to do.

Disappointed... what I ordered vs what I got
I was completely disappointed and irritated at check-in. I booked a king suite what was reserved for me was a queen double. The room only had 1 chair so no comfortable way to have an intimate in-room dinner with one of us sitting on the bed. Not all the holes in the walls were patched up and the blinds were all broken up so the room wasn't even photo friendly... throughly disappointed!!

We arrived very late. Front desk is not open, had to use in house phone and “wake” up the attendant, took about 20 mins to check in. Upon getting into our room, we found roaches. Sent pics to hotels.com. Got an immediate refund. Only stayed for 2 hours as we couldn’t get in touch with front desk for new room etc

Overall the room I was placed in was nice, however it was not acceptable that the drain in the shower was extremely slow & took so long to drain, water was backing up taking a shower. Also there's no breakfast served here & I found it odd the front desk is not 24/7.

Estan bien por el precio, pero ahi es un lugar que lo usan como casa muchas personas y huele mucho a mariguana supuestamente mi cuarto era de no fumar pero todo el lugar olĂa orrible y no hay plancha ni cecadora de pelo y no tienen cortina solo percianas y tampoco extra cobijas cosa qe no me gusto.

Web pictures look amazing but when you are truly there is not really it was it looks . This place, was not pleasant at all. When first check in - was good. When arrived to room it was not clean at all there was crumbs of food sheets were dirty, with yellow stains. They only give you two towels , there was no housekeeping for the 10 days I stayed there. I had to do it myself . You need to take out your own trash, no te making beds. For additional items sopa toilet paper trash bag, you need to requested at front desk. Front desk staff were so rude, becuase I didn’t take with me the white basket for clean towels . They only provide you two , we were 3 in the room. We had to shared towels. On weekends they opened late, if you wanted new towels you needed to wait until they opened. Laundry room has the option to take coins or use an app I had lost of coins but the machine would no take them. I went to the front desk to request help for me to be able to do laundry she didn’t care. She just continue to watch her show . My visit was this month of November-2022. I requested Niño smacking room but thru the vents the smell of smoke will go into our room exposed my children two second hand smoke. For family trips I will not recommend to go to this hotel . I truly believe holiday in will continue to be my 1st choice.

The room was dirty, the elevator and even the corridor smelled like cigarettes. The room had a queen bed that looked like a full size that we weren't going to fit into. So we kindly asked to cancel the reservation explaining the situation and they refused to refund the money we had paid. So we lost the money for the stay.

The make us leave the room twice in the very cold weather.
That's was very bad . We couldn't sleep at all . The should apply credit for all the trouble.

There are bugs in my room, sticky floors, stained bed and walls, definitely a ton of previous smokers, and the entire place is filthy from the lobby to the hallways, etc. I truthfully feel a bit unsafe and very uncomfortable.

We stayed one night to go to a concert and it was ok. It was clean bedding and no carpet in rooms. We waited for 30 minutes for check in at like 6pm. We had two towels total in a double queen room. No breakfast. But free parking.

Check in process was long only because the person checking in was helping another person and that took quite a bit of time. The floor we were at had dogs in every room and as anyone walked the hall outside they all started barking. Felt like we were in a kennel. To make things even more noisier the smoke alarms went off in the whole building around 7 8 am and blared until the fire dept came to property to shut it off. Not much rest during our stay this time.

Water pressure in the shower was horrible. Had to go to front desk to get a iron and ironing board, yet it had to he after 10am when the front desk was open. The beds was hard as bricks. Hallway and rooms had a slight foul smell.

As soon as walked into room was hit with a very bad cigarette smoke smell went straight to front desk to try to get new room, the had no more available. Asked them to note my complaint about the smell and the clerk just wrote it in a postage note. Had my clothes hanging up on provided hangers so they would not get wrinkles. Actually left hotel with them smelling like cigarette smoke for important work event. Very unpleasant experience!

We stayed here because it was close to a venue that we were going to, so it was 20 minutes away from downtown. The black front desk lady was rude and agitated for some reason. She was not accommodating to our needs as we asked for extra pillows and sheets. There was free parking. There was a fridge and freezer and strong A/C. As soon as we entered the room, we immediately smelled tobacco and cigarettes. There were flat stoves but no pans and pots so we couldn’t use them. Aside from our one king bed, there was a couch that you could pull out into a bed. There were also hangers and closet room space. No mirror, no netflix or hulu or youtube. There was also a tiny bottle of solution that was labeled shampoo AND conditioner. The body soap bar was thin... I also didn’t think we could call staff/service. We had to use the elevator and walk up to front desk.

Room had a weird smell to it, but I had a scented vanilla candle so o didn’t mind it! The bed is comfy with like 5 pillows. I bathroom mirror is really great. Small tv though but it’s okay. Staff was very nice and welcoming at front desk!! Had a great stay

no habia toallas,papel del baño,la tina tapada,no hay cafetera,no hay jabones,ni shampoo,no habia bolsas de basura.pedi toallas y solo me dieron 2 y un rollo de papel.
pague $180 dolares x una basura de hotel.
No se merece ni media estrella.

Do not stay at this property
Smoky smelling lobby and hallways. Long term noisy families occupied property. Late night and very early morning noises from toddlers and yelling from their parents. Fire alarm went off in the morning for no particular reason and had to go thru the evacuation process for no reason. No receptionist available for late night checking.
