The best Bristol place
This is our 3rd time here. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The check in staff is even friendly after midnight! The breakfast was missing a few beats.

Watch the cleaning cart.
Narrow hallways meant you couldn't get passed the cleaning cart, which was in the hallway by our room when we checked in and out. Also,our room wasn't ready even though the front desk let us check in after normal check-in time.

For the price, it was a good deal. Room, linen, etc., very clean - most comfortable bed and pillows than pricier chains! Think a little sprucing up of lobby, cleaning of elevator, etc., would make this an excellent property. Staff was really excellent. Adjoining empty lot had a bunch of trash - not this property's problem, but cleaning out would really help.

You get what you pay for.
Service was great, breakfast was good, but the bed was lumpy and had a few stink bugs in the room. Sheets had black hairs on them and i am a blonde.

Satisfactorily stay. They still have carpet in rooms and i think it has a tendency to hold smells. Bed and towels were clean. Definitely an older bldg. Hot breakfast a big plus

T.his was our second time at the facility, our return trip/stop. The first room was on the second floor , this night , on the 3rd. This room was the "same"; bedding was dated, there were mystery stains on the white duvet and 2 towels were either dirty or also stained.
The staff was attentive at the desk & the breakfast area.

The property is well taken care of. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good with options. It was hot, served on time and refilled promptly. Check in and out was a breeze. Will definitely use them next time I am in Bristol, VA.

Neat, clean.
This property is right off the Interstate, but our I-81 facing rooms were quiet. The room was tiny, clean and well appointed for our one night stay. I mentioned a leaking shower head at check out & the clerk sent someone up immediately .The breakfast area was neat.

Just stayed 1 night but no complaints about anything. Loved the comfy bed, wonderful shower. Nice towels and plenty of pillows. Room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was good and staff was attentive with making sure food items were replenished.

When we arrived at the hotel they canceled my reservation. We arrived late due to numerous traffic issues on I-81, didn’t get there till after midnight. Then I was told that they ran my credit card and it was declined prior to getting there. I never authorized them to run my credit card. Why would you cancel a reservation made? We had to go and find some where else to stay. I am very unhappy of how this happened!

We stayed here during our trip to Bristol to attend the NASCAR Cup race. Easy enough to find late at night. Room was clean and checkin was quick. There were a few issues the management should address. Our party of four only had room amenities for one person. Not enough soap, shampoo etc in the room. The breakfast was the usual fare, basic, but, little fruit other than bananas, no jelly for your toast, and only one choice of bread. No muffins, no apples, no bacon. The rates we paid we sky high because of the local racing event, $400 for one night! Ouch!

My stay at the Quality Inn & Suites I-81 Exit 7 changed my life. I’m leaving on a two week European excursion tomorrow, but it took every ounce of strength I had in me to not extend my stay in Bristol, Virginia. Every day that I spend away from this beige oasis, I shall dream of its illustrious habitations and lavish sausage biscuits.
Quality Inn & Suites I-81 Exit 7 has made me a more complete man, and I strive forth to improve the world as a result.

Room was small. Dorm fridge didn't have freezer capability. TV reception was bad initially but O.K. after carrier resolved issues. Breakfast was fair and waffle mix was watery first day.....don't think batter had been stirred. There weren't any muffins or pastry products. My dentist would appreciate!
Room was clean and excellent water pressure for shower with plenty of hot water.

About what you would expect
Check in was quick with good service from front desk. Room had a slight musty smell and bed blanket had a burn hole in it. Plenty of space in room and bathroom. Area was pretty secure but when my card key didn’t work and I asked for a new one the front desk clerk didn’t check to make sure I was actually staying there before handing me a new one. Overall the experience was what you would expect for what we paid.

In my 69 years, I have never experienced such poor customer service. We checked in at 10 pm and I provided my Amex gold card for my party of 14— in 6 rooms. At 720 ami was awakened by the hotel manager demanding I come down to settle payment. An unsolicited and unwelcome wake-up call. An hour and a half later I would see the same hotel manager closing g the breakfast at 928. How ungracious. Expedia should delist this property.

Service was awful. Night host was stuck checking in, answering phones & cleaning rooms at 10:30 pm. At least she was trying. Everyone else was a bunch of bums. Worst managed hotel I’ve been at in a long time.

The room was big and clean, that part was lovely. I booked the hotel for a big room and for breakfast. I wasnt expecting a hige breakfast, but this was so disappointing. There was no protein, only eggs and biscuits. There looked like there should have been bacon or sausage, but the staff never refilled it. We waited nearly 30 minutes, no staff came to check and no one was manning the front desk. We had to grt breakfast somewhere else.

We had a quick overnight stay here on our way home from NY. We made the reservation from the car on our way through VA. Hotel was very convenient, clean, quiet and the desk clerk was very friendly. We did not try the breakfast, but it looked fine and many were eating. I would recommend!

Room was not cleaned very well. There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom, the tray that held the room coffee pot was dirty, and their was an unusual musty odor in the room. The tiles in on the bathroom floor moved when you walked on them. You couldn’t even get a cup of coffee before 7 am if you needed one from the breakfast area. They painted the front pillars by the entrance door and didn’t warn of the wet paint. My husband got paint up the whole arm of his sweater when he bumped into the pillar. Our friends stayed at another hotel in the area and I am disappointed we didn’t choose the other hotel too. I will not stay here when we come back into town for our October trip.

Net positive!
We were greeted with a smile upon check in by Ashley, she was amazing and a perfect person to be there first face (I actually even called ahead) for guests to encounter. I was able to check in quickly and get to our room in a timely manner. Breakfast was better than expected, coffee was better than expected and the morning staff was friendly as well. It worked perfectly for our stop on the to Boston from Dallas!
